The Woodmark Hotel: what do users think?

Andrew Eliquen: Update as of 5/6/24: The General Manager has reached out and made sure the concerns we have raised were investigated and looked into. They have committed to improve on training their employees in order to avoid situations like this again.Possibly the worst hotel experience I had in Greater Seattle area. We were not able to check in until around 4:30 PM even though they did say 4PM is the check-in time. All the other white folks who came before us were able to check-in fine. When we checked in, we arrived and there was a used clothing in a plastic and marked '431'. They felt bad about the late check-in so they gave us a bottle of champagne. The Director of Rooms tried to apologize by calling but the call was cut off. I never heard the rest of what they were trying to say. While waiting for the room, we are overhearing the spiel that they were giving to new guests. We never heard the same for us. There is high chance that this was because we were colored people. Try to avoid this hotel if possible.Edit: we also asked for a late check out to compensate for the late check-in and they said no.

Jabran Khan: The Woodmark Hotel and Still Spa offered a tranquil escape from the bustling city life. The breathtaking views from my room instantly captivated me, providing a serene backdrop for relaxation. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the luxurious furnishings to the impeccable service. Indulging in a spa treatment at Still Spa was a rejuvenating experience, leaving me feeling refreshed and revitalized. Overall, my stay at The Woodmark Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving me with cherished memories of tranquility and luxury.Rooms: The Woodmark Hotel and Still Spa offers an unparalleled experience of luxury and relaxation. The rooms are elegantly appointed, providing breathtaking views of Lake WashingtonFood & drinks: Dining options are equally impressive, with exquisite dishes crafted from fresh, local ingredients, tantalizing the taste buds with every bite. Indulging in a spa treatment at Still Spa completes the experience, leaving guests feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Trevion McClellan: Reserved a room for the view and to be away from the city center. Arrived to champagne, exhausted from my flight and took a shower. Laid down to sleep and after a couple of hours, blaring fire alarm and full-evacuation!! Outside in my undies, fire trucks, a whole thing. Guests blamed the wedding but it was never cleared-up. Plus side was I got to hit the sinful pantry for one night. Chocolate Haagen Dazs make it alright!Beds and bathroom are fine. But I was so exhausted that straw on a cave floor would've done just fine.Cool experience.

The Edgewater Hotel: what do users think?

Junji Morokuma: Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view

Easton Dillehay: We checked in here for our honeymoon and were given an upgrade by the awesome front desk staff. Our room was lovely and had a very nice view of the water. The location of the hotel is perfect and it’s such a cool historic place to stay. While Alaskan Way is currently closed, there is no traffic out front and it’s really nice to walk around and easy to get up to the city. It is comparably priced to all the other hotels downtown, so why not stay somewhere historic. The only downside is to go into town, you definitely go uphill.

Bryan Ross: Had our room reservation at the Edgewater,I was running 4 hours late from my train up to seattle.I called and spoke to Jesse told me no problem take your time enjoy Seattle we have your room ready, even asked if I needed anything before i even got their talk about service.Upon my arrival meet Jesse in person at the front desk Very polite asked if I needed anything else upon check in.I was catching the ferrie to Victoria the next day my only regret i didn't spend more time here ,this place is right on the water alot of Rock in Roll history going on here.5 stars isn't enough for this place wonderful staff great place to stay.Rooms: The Rooms are Unbelievable, we stayed at 3 places on our trip from LA to Seattle this place by far the best.Walkability: The clipper Ferrie going to Victoria is 5 min walk from the front door.Food & drinks: Had Drinks and appetizers great service and great food.

Tim Haverstick: The Edgewater Hotel was absolutely fantastic. Located right in downtown Seattle, we were treated to breathtaking views of the Puget Sound while enjoying the vibrant scene by the water. But what made our stay extra special? Knowing that iconic musicians like The Beatles and Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam had stayed here too. It added an extra layer of excitement to our experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home, and the dining options were superb. Whether we were exploring the city or relaxing in our room, The Edgewater Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for our Seattle getaway.

Madison Plummer: and everything went wrong. Traffic set us back an hour so we were late to the show, and then, we couldn’t find parking. Thankfully, Anthony found us a parking spot which really saved us. The next morning on our way home, I realized I forgot my wedding rings in our room, 2 hours after checking out. I called, and Anthony found them and held them for me until we could make our way back to the hotel. I will forever be thankful for the patience and kindness he and the rest of the staff showed us. Our dogs were also treated really well, our room was clean, bed was comfy, and it was a great location. Thank you! We will be back!Rooms: Room had a Nespresso machineWalkability: Walkability to pikes place

Shafer Baillie Mansion Bed & Breakfast: what do users think?

Debbie L: I just loved this place. The neighborhood is full of old beautiful mansions. The house is absolutely beautiful, with the old original craftsmanship that you don’t see anymore. The host was warm and welcoming. I want to go back as soon as possible.Rooms: Like stepping back in time to a simpler life.Walkability: You can walk to some restaurants and parks from here.

Roland dela Cuesta: shower stall. The linens and towels are high quality, such as you’d find at a high end hotel. The best part of our stay was the hospitality of the proprietors. We were sent an information email prior to our arrival. We were greeted at the door by the innkeeper, Brenda, who handed me a J1772 adapter for the level 2 Tesla charger so that I could charge my non-Tesla PHEV. It turned out to be the personal property of the owner, Ana Lena, who was so kind to lend it to me for the duration of our stay. The breakfasts were excellent which included a home made, hot item each morning, cheeses and sliced meats, fresh pastries, and my wife’s favourite, fresh bagels with lox and cream cheese. Orange juice and freshly brewed coffee is available at breakfast with Keurig coffee available at all times. Mandarin oranges, biscotti, cookies, chocolates and cold, bottled water were also available all day.We plan on staying at the Shafer Baillie whenever we find ourselves in Seattle and will encourage our friends and family to do the same.Rooms: Luxuriously appointed bedrooms.Food & drinks: Excellent, fresh home made breakfastNoteworthy details: EV charger on site

Victoria: We loved this place and were sad to leave after 3 nights. It is up on a hill and above the hubbub of Seattle in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood but only a couple miles from the heart of the city. Walk around the streets up here to see the architectural beauties that were built when craftsmanship was king. The continental breakfast is top notch. There are goodies left out for you at all times. Everything is kept beautifully. The room was spotless. The owner is very sweet, generous and unassuming and has created a masterpiece here. Stay in top floor Southeast or Southwest ballroom if you don’t mind stairs. We hope to return for a longer stay one day.

Katherine Madden: We held our wedding at S-B Mansion and it was everything we wanted. Ana Lena and her staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. They are an exceptional group of people. I cannot thank them enough for all they did. We also stayed in one of their rooms for the weekend and it was a beautiful place. We plan to go back again. Thank you!Rooms: beautifully decorated and very comfortable

Janet Beilharz: so you heard everyone. This didn’t bother us in the slightest during the day or even when sleeping. It was a little hard to fall asleep with it, but it wasn’t anything that would stop me from staying in that room again.

Ray Ziemer: We stayed at the Mansion May 20-22 of 2023, returning after our first stay in 2018.Everything was exactly as we remembered except perhaps even better. The room furnishings are all period specific which my wife loved, but even better, the mattress was perfect. So glad they did not choose original mattresses!!The photos online speak for themselves, and they are true to life.If you are staying in Seattle this needs to be your first choice.Food & drinks: Many options within walking distance. If you get a Chance to do the chef tasting at nearby Carrello , it's a must.

Casey Homes: Absolutely beautiful place. So nicely decorated and spacious, the photos do not do it justice. The owners and innkeeper were so pleasant. Very easy to chat with at breakfast. And breakfast was delicious as well. Lovely croissants, smoked salmon, hot casserole, make your own parfaits, wonderful coffee.Location is great as well. Very quiet area, easy street parking. And quick walk over to 15th Street for coffee and shops. Or even down to Pike St with all the restaurants there too, only took about 20 mins! All in all, wonderful building, great location, kind staff and delicious breakfast. What more can you ask?!

Rebekah Garrett Ripley: was spacious and sparkling clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. The breakfast was continental with a delicious baked entree each morning such as egg soufflés and blackberry cobbler. All so good. Brenda and Anna are wonderful host…thank you both so much!! We hope to return to Seattle again soon and will definitely be staying at this beautiful B&B.

Stephanie D: this historic B&B, located in the Capitol Hill District and steps away from volunteer Park, is a great place to stay when visiting Seattle. The rooms are clean and well-maintained with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is enhanced continental and coffee and tea and snacks are always left out for guests. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am visiting Seattle.

Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle: what do users think?

Elena B: .

Susan Vick: World class hotel experience! This place exceeded my expectations. It wasn’t the fanciest hotel, it wasn’t even the closest to my destination, but the people who work here made this place special and my stay above average. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. My room wasn’t quite ready yet, but they sent me a text as soon as it was. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. A man named Dee who was working the parking area was so very kind and went above and beyond to bring my luggage to my room. Another front desk person, Faye, was very friendly and took the time to brew me a fresh cup of coffee because I showed up too early in the lobby and before they’d made some for the day. The little things these people do to make people feel special and welcome really sets this place apart from other hotels. They’ll even bring a plant to your room if you would like one! I highly recommend it.

Bevon Brye: My stay at the Kimton Vintage Hotel in Seattle was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and sophistication. The ambiance of the hotel itself, with its vintage charm and modern amenities, set the stage for a truly memorable experience. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added an extra layer of luxury to my stay. However, what truly set this hotel apart was its incredible staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In particular, I must express my heartfelt appreciation for Jonathan. His dedication to customer service is unparalleled. From the moment I arrived, Jonathan made me feel welcome and valued. He took the time to personalize my experience, offering amazing conversations and ensuring that all of my needs were met.Jonathan's genuine warmth and professionalism truly made my stay feel unique and wonderful. His passion for hospitality shines through in everything he does, and I cannot thank him enough for making my time at the Kimton Vintage Hotel truly unforgettable.Overall, I cannot recommend the Kimton Vintage Hotel highly enough. Whether you're visiting Seattle for business or pleasure, this hotel is a standout choice. Impeccable service, elegant surroundings, and a team of dedicated professionals like Jonathan make it a destination unto itself.

Pallavi Banerjee: This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in the United States. The interiors/aesthetics are beautiful, can't beat the location and the staff are just delightful. I might come back to Seattle to just stay here because two nights here were not enough.Rooms: Clean, lots of natural light and beautiful decorated.

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle: what do users think?

Aaron Dodds: The staff were all very pleasant and willing to answer all questions and accommodations. It’s an adorable hotel with retro yet modern rooms. Very dog friendly, and even Leanne at the concierge’s desk made a special card for us with a welcome doggy gift bag!Nearby activities: Walking distance to pikes market and nearby eateries. Although since it’s in the financial district, a lot of the restaurants were unfortunately closed closed earlier in the evening even on a weekend, including viewing tower in the tallest building.

w d: We loved the hotel. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The suite was clean and spacious. We booked the breakfast with our room and the Outlier restaurant was great! Food was always hot and fresh and the varied menu offered some excellent choices. The hotel has a great location within walking distance of anything we wanted to see. Would definitely come back when we are in Seattle again.

Latch Holmgren: Rockstar Stay at Hotel Monaco Seattle: Fun, Convenient, UnforgettableOur trip from Portland to Seattle for the Madonna concert was a blast, made even better by our stay at Hotel Monaco Seattle. The front desk team greeted us with smiles and got us into our room early, setting the tone for a fantastic stay.Hotel Monaco's location was spot-on, making it super easy to explore Seattle's coolest spots. But the real MVP was Leanne Larkin, the concierge with all the insider tips. She hooked us up with tickets to the Museum of Pop Culture and other must-see spots, making our trip extra special. From the chic rooms to Leanne's top-notch service, Hotel Monaco Seattle exceeded our expectations. Next time we're in town, there's no question where we'll be staying. It's Monaco or bust!

Michael Smith: Excellent stay and wonderful hotel in downtown.Rooms: Very spacious and clean rooms. Desk space to get work done and nice couches for relaxing in the evenings.Walkability: Can reach many main downtown tourist spots quickly. Walking late at night was sketchy but fine.

Olympic Rooftop Pavilion: what do users think?

Danielle Lamouri: Very friendly space for a wedding party

Conley Pells: It was a great show. 3 musicians and a lead singer. All very talented ! Venue is very beautiful with amazing views.

Thuy Mack: Motown Under the Stars at The Olympic Rooftop had a Amazing live band playing! It is a beautiful, clean, safe venue! The staff are all very nice and helpful. We were able to enjoy the whole night without smelling pot smoking and vaping! We will be back again for more events!

Chelle Allen: Beautiful venue. Great band played 90s classics perfectly. Fireplace. Bar. Indoor but view of Sound. I’ll go back for certain. Plus Old Ballard was awesome.

Diane, A Rees: The band were superb and deserve 5 stars. The reason I knocked off one star was because we were hemmed in like an economy flight and it was not possible to dance.

Laura Rodriguez: but the food was top notch. I truly am a picky eater and I very much enjoyed our menu selection! The servers and bartender were very professional and our guests had wonderful things to say about them after. Something we would like to share is that a heads up to others looking to have an event here is there is no bridal or grooms gathering area

Korynne Leon: I’ve gone to three shows now at CUTS, Ella to Alicia, Amy Winehouse, and Frank Sinatra and each time was so splendid! The environment is intimate, casual, and cozy. The musicians are very talented and everyone is so friendly. The vibes are immaculate and I will be back plenty of times more!

Marla Taylor: A very nice intimate setting. The music was great. Not a bad seat in the room. Super fun evening.

Sandy Barnum: Under the Stars events have a memorable setting and the entertainment makes for a lovely evening. Get there 15-20 minutes ahead of you want a cocktail; the bar closes early.

feisty kitty: Amazing!!!

Marissa T: I truly enjoyed the ABBA tribute. It would have been nice if the venue had a screen with the lyrics so those who want to sing along could.

Amy Milk: Great show!

Nancy Santiago: Everything about this venue and the talent was outstanding!

Fiona Swanson: Fabulous location with backdrop of Seattle. Great set...professional, talented and not too long.

Lily oh: Ushers were very helpful and cordial. Love the choice of venues!

Alison Krauskopf: Just an FYI if it was unclear this is a private event space and not a rooftop bar. As a private event space it’s awesome. Highly recommend for weddings. As a rooftop bar, which it isn’t, not so much. But the view is still pretty if you can convince the staff to let you have a look.

Troy Lund: Live music under the stars!

The Admiral's House: what do users think?

Jeni Craswell: A bit tricky to get to, but stunning views and a fabulous venue!!

A T: Good views, pretty fancy for the US

Hugh Jass: esy

Peg McCarthy (peggiemac): Beautiful views to make whatever event you're celebrating that much better! And don't forget a jacket or wrap for the very cool evening breezes!

Jonathan Paul Doerr: Amazing views and an incredible venue.

John Kim: Probably one of the most elite, exclusive and upscale event venues in Seattle. The secluded location is perched on top of the Magnolia neighborhood overlooking Elliott Bay with a panoramic view of the Emerald City skyline. If you have the means, book your private wedding, corporate party, photo/film shoot or special event at this historic place.

Craig K: The Admiral's House is a truly one-of-a-kind venue that captures the essence of Seattle. If you tour this venue for a wedding and they have availability around your desired time frame - snatch it up as they will go quickly. The venue is a blank canvas as all of the catering/tables/chairs/flowers have to be locked down from other vendors. If you are looking for something turnkey where the venue provides you everything, this is not the place for you. When we were not working 60 hours/week for our career, my wife and I pretty much took 12 months of planning into making this THE most memorable night of our lives and a decision we will not regret

Nicole D: As a local wedding planner in the Seattle area, I absolutely LOVE The Admiral’s House! Such an amazing view of the city and the staff is always great to work with. Would highly recommend!

Victoria Victoria: Amazing. Great views. Shuttle or walking is a little inconvenient. However. Its an awesome venue and great location.

Nick Morgan: Great place. Awesome view

Brian Corbett: Wonderful night with my beautiful wife

The Charter Hotel Seattle, Curio Collection by Hilton: what do users think?

Martini 66: Had great experience at the lobby bar!Service: 5/5 …

Kristin Bigham: . I was on the same floor as the rooftop bar so that part of the building had the best views.Front desk was awesome. The business center was broken and Balthazar Chinnell, the front office manager, was so kind to print about 40 pages for me from the back office.Food and drinks were expensive but seemed to be on par with downtown Seattle prices.About a minute walk from Pikes Market. Easy to walk places, but I wouldn’t plan on walking alone after dark. All in all, nice place to stay. Service was top notch, but expensive for a long visit as there is no complimentary breakfast, no microwave in the rooms, and the valet is expensive.Rooms: Large and clean.

pzs6nh: Great location, friendly staff and beautiful rooms that are clean. This location has a restaurant which has a limited selection of food. This location is within walking distance of the fish market which is a musty during your visit. For those that are visiting Seattle for the first time the farmers market closes at 5:00 p.m., and as do most businesses in the area. Unfortunately, there are a lot of homeless on the streets after 6:00 p.m. at night.Rooms: The rooms are clean end spacious.Safety: As with all in your cities, be aware that it's somewhat dangerous to walk late at night around the hotel area.Food & drinks: The restaurant in this location has a limited selection. Greed for happy hour though.Noteworthy details: Within walking distance how the fish market and Starbucks.

S. Sanghavi (Meep): Great location!! Fantastic staff. Rooms are beautiful and quiet. Perfect city getaway.Rooms: Beautiful and quietSafety: Lots of homeless. Best to be indoors by nightfall.Walkability: Everything in Seattle is within a 20 minute walk of the hotelFood & drinks: Tons all around.

Phillip Nguyen: We stayed at the Grand Hyatt last two conference and it was whatevers so wanted to switch things up. I really love the location. Very convenient and felt safe. Our room was great, pretty quiet. We did get an upgrade via status tier. Very easy to get to places via walking, Uber or public transit. Super close to Pikes Market. Our room was really nice and service was great all around from reception to dining to the Balthazar who responds via the Hilton app messaging. Enjoyed drinks and dessert at Fog Room. There was a $25 tourism fee or something but they give it back in dining credit and since we went for business it was like additional money for dining that technically would be categorized as hotel.

Becky Sargent: Room was clean, beds were comfortable 😁Food & drinks: Fog had great drinks and lack luster food. Wonderful atmosphere for after dinner drinks, but I'd eat somewhere else for the price. The breakfast offered at the main floor restaurant was just ok, our waitress was lovely, but our food took a while and had a lot of issues, and for the price there are other brunch places nearby, I'd try something else.

Michelle Bogaert: Regularly stay here with work and the rooms are so sleek and cozy at the same time. All the staff are truly unmatched, efficient, and have a genuine and calming demeanor even when the lobby is busy. Housekeeping is perfect as well, super considerate and I always feel like everything is fresh and the beds are made up perfectly every time. The bathrooms have the best lighting and amazing showers, and the room is furnished beautifully. Bonus points for the plushy robes, and walkable location to tons of cafes. Hope to be back soon!

Sodo Park: what do users think?

Serhiy Tsyganok: Absolutely amazing place for any type of celebrations!!! Nice location with parking, very kind and friendly team work there🙌🏻 👍🏻 ✌🏻 👌🏻 💪🏻

Tanya Thomson: What a cool venue. We went for my husband's work event and it was so good. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and the ambience was so nice. Great place for a wedding I'd imagine!!!

Stefan & Audrey: We recently photographed a wedding here, and have done so many times, so we figured it was time for a glowing review. The charm of this venue is undeniable. Anyone who walks in the door will immediately realize how special the main room is. What sets this venue above so many others though, is the attention to detail by the staff, which includes food & beverage. Absolutely top-tier. And to have so much space, all of which is beautiful, out of the Seattle weather, is also very hard to come by. 10/10 would recommend.

Justin Cykler: Gorgeous venue. Attended as a guest for a wine pickup party.

Timothy Leapai: The venue was large with multiple areas for photos. The big tree is awesome. The reception hall is massive with a ton of space.

marlee mckibbin: Great place for an event.

Brianna Messer: As a wedding photographer I think my favorite thing about Sodo Park is that it is not only a beautiful venue on its own, but its proximity to other locations give couples the opportunity to have such a variety in their photos! The Herban Feast team is also so kind and wonderful at what they do. I loved every minute of my time at Sodo Park, it really is a gem!

Kat Ua: Sat out on the covered patio area. There is a fireplace. Very cozy place and food was good. Good variety for a group.

Mark Lucht: Great venue. I was recently there to see Teatro Zinzanni. Really a large place, but they shoved too many people into it. I can see Sodo Park as a popular option for wedding receptions and the like. I hope that Teatro Zinzanni finds a differently permanent location, though.

Danielle Lambert: Gorgeous space. Herban Feast does a great job with the food!

John Liles: Beautiful venue!

Gilda Fulco (Gildy): Awesome gathering spot for various functions, private parties! And more!

Heather Smith: We had our wedding reception at The Factory Luxe. It was the first event for us and many of our guests post Covid lockdown in October of 2021. Melinda was an absolute treasure. She was ridiculously patient with us and addressed every single one of our worries. She also met with us numerous times to help us work with planning and made suggestions and she was just invaluable! Her years of work in the entertainment/wine industry is evident. We played our wedding ceremony video at the beginning of our reception. As I was standing there behind stage, my mind spiraling.... what if people get sick, should have canceled.....Melinda came up to me and said "Remember, tonight is about celebrating the two of you. Just enjoy it."It was exactly what I needed to hear WHEN I needed to hear it.The Factory Luxe is a great venue run by a class act.

Angelina: Fantastic venue, full bar service, personal pizzas, and great team. Love that they host Misery Business and vinyl nights. Free parking and close to the light rail.

Dmitry Kozlov: Nice, clean, spacious and at the same time reasonably atmospheric venue - open fireplace and lighting are nice. Not a crowdy one, at least yet 🙂

David Roberts: This truly a Seattle Time Capsule - it is the old Rainier Brewery Tasting Room - built circa 1950 - think Canlis on a Beer Drinking Budget - but a very Magical Place.. The Stage is Teeny Weeny but intimate club experience if you are there to see a band - Photos of the place in it's hey day and the brewery on the walls - tons of original fixtures and such

Daza Blanton: Very nice, an intimate setting that needs your support. Come one come all for good times and fanshmavulous memories

Nicole Persson: Great space. Accessible. Well equipped.

Tasha Lewis: Beautiful venue in the shadows of the Rainier building. Entry up stairs and ramp on other side. Entry has a small entryway that opens to the center of the room, beautiful wooden floors and straight ahead a rock fireplace. To the left is the front with a stage and mens bathrooms on the left, womens on the right. Pretty nice ladies bathroom with sitting room upon entry and 3 stalls 2 sinks and a mirror. To the right of the entry is the bar and a staging area behind that. Was perfect for a wedding and reception 😍

Frank Eastman: Really attractive venue well appointed for smallish events. Surprisingly interesting and well balanced signature drinks!

Anna Bing: Beautiful and very spacious. Great for adult birthday parties !

Brittne Lunniss: The Factory Luxe is a beautiful venue for events and music. Super unique atmosphere with lots of history behind it. Love that there is free parking too.

The Bacon Mansion Bed and Breakfast: what do users think?

Alan Poole: A surprisingly luxurious B&B for a Brit visiting Seattle. David runs an informal, welcoming and comfortable home from home. It's not a hotel, so don't expect all that hotels provide. David rings the changes at breakfast and I'm sure would accommodate special requests given time. Room servicing is on request - so you decide what you want done. All in all, it's very like staying as a guest in a friend's home, except, as you're paying, you can ask for some extra attention if you need it. Go and enjoy!

Kristýna Svobodová: The accommodation is absolutely amazing. It's our first time here and we're excited. The owners are amazing 🤩 if you don't know where to go for a meal or a trip in the area, they will be happy to show you and the order exactly what is worth it ☺️ Communication with the owners was simple and helpful. I definitely highly recommend using this accommodation ❤️

Amy Donnelly: and the breakfast was outstanding

marisa mom: This B&B was wonderful. David is a very friendly and gracious host. It is in a nice neighborhood that is great for a stroll or some peace and quiet. It is also within walking distance of parks, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and other retail / service stores. We stayed in the Carriage Suite it was roomy and charming. The bathroom was uniquely designed but spacious. The bed was very comfortable, I usually don’t sleep well when we travel but I slept well. The couch was comfortable to lounge on. There were some very sweet artistic touches with the toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels that added an extra detail that made it feel regal. [Photo included.] The Carriage Suite has its own entrance, so it feels like your own little house, which I liked much better than a hotel. However, there are communal spaces in the main house if you want to stretch your legs or just want a change of scenery. There is also a courtyard with a fountain and tables and chairs to enjoy the fresh air. Breakfast was French toast, one of my favorites. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the experience. I have already raved about it to our friends and family. We will absolutely be back again and will refer the Cecil Bacon Manor Bed and Breakfast to others.

Deirdre Robbins: is a unique experience. Beautiful gilded age old wood ornate charm, combined with today's amenities and wonderful service. The owners are super nice and attentive to every guest. It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood on Capitol Hill, but just minutes away from downtown by car or bus. It does feel like home, but nicer!Walkability: Stores, restaurants, and coffee shops are within walking distance, and the bus to downtown is only two blocks away.

Josh Brzinski: makes the place feel so welcoming and comfortable

Robert Senoff: So this is a fantastic location for visiting Seattle. I used to live a few blocks away from here so I realize the hidden gem that it is.You're 10 minutes tops to downtown and a short walk to the center of Capital Hill while not actually being in Capital Hill. There is off street parking and you get to stay in large, comfortable rooms. The folks running the place are nice and helpful. Plus breakfast is excellent.

mary lee schott: but probably very cozy if that's what your vibe is.Nearby activities: Restaurants, massage, french bakery, grocery store, coffee shops, clothing shops, parks, bookstores - it's an urban experience easily travelled on foot if you're amble. Loved it!Safety: The busier urban street with restaurants and shops just a couple of blocks away, and actually - just outside the door of the Bacon - does have its share of folks with mental health issues. I encountered quite a few and crossed the street or waited for them to pass. Other than that - no incidents or concerns about my safety.Walkability: it's a residential area so walking around has so many fun houses to gawk at. Plus, there are shops literally right down the street, a bus line literally one block away, and some decent hills if you need some cardio!

John Atkins: , croissants & a host of pastries from 15th Ave's Bakery Nouveaux make for a wonderful start to the day. I'd recommend this BnB over any hotel in downtown's business district or the U district for its neighborhood charm & conveniences.Nearby activities: close to coffee, bakery, shops, restaurants and bars. lots of capital hill arts venues.Walkability: walking distance to coffee, bakery, shops, restaurants, bars and Volunteer Park.

Lisa Dewolfe: Beautiful quiet and comfortable and a fantastic location. Very nice staff and so accommodating and easy to communicate with about our stay and needs.Rooms: Clean and comfyNearby activities: Many with great diversitySafety: VeryWalkability: Wonderful

Riley Bibey: I stayed here over a weekend while I was in Seattle for work and it was absolutely lovely. They were so amazingly accommodating with my super late night arrival and made sure I had easy to follow instructions to get into my room, as well as a video walkthrough which was so helpful. My room was upstairs and was quiet and cozy. The breakfast and coffee they serve in the morning is lovely and so nicely prepared. They knew me by name and chatted with me about my work and travels in the kindest way. It was super easy to get around to all the places I needed to go. I could’ve walked but there were so many things within a 5 minute drive in any direction. Restaurants, parks, coffee shops, you name it. The manor itself is such a gem, full of lovely decorations and gorgeous vintage charm. You can tell it’s been well cared for and loved. I spent a crisp fall morning out on their patio area watching leaves fall and listening to the fountain, and it was so serene and peaceful. I can’t wait to come back here when I’m not working so I can enjoy my time even more. 100 out of 5 stars for me.

W Seattle: what do users think?

Maria P.: Great downtown location. Easily walk to many tourist sites. Rooms are bright, clean and spacious.Housekeeping services are late in the day after 5pm and on-site parking is expensive. Bed was a little hard for my liking.

Samantha Robinson: Clean, organized, comfortable! I slept well. The bed was comfy and the blackout shades let me sleep in. We had a cool view from the 20th floor. We booked two rooms and they conveniently put us in adjoining rooms. Other than occasional noise from the hallways, I couldn't hear anything Else outside the room.I wish check-in was before 4pm and that they had more service at their bar/restaurant at night. Other than that, perfect!
