Mat Chess Mixed Martial Arts: what do users think?

Ken L: of this gym

Dalton: It's hard to beat the training level and sense of community at this gym. The owner instructors and training environment are top notch. The mats are kept clean and so many concepts are included in day to day training despite a heavy focus on fundamentals and essential skills. Top tier gym and sad I have to leave.

Lemon Juice: The workouts that they did was truly amazing it it definitely made me feel like I’m progressing in my techniques, even if it was my first time going into that gym. The community there was a very nice the people there were nice the teachers, the coaches, the members they made me feel very welcome.

Floyd Miracle: I came into town for a business trip, and the owner welcomed me into his gym. I showed up for morning class and everyone was welcoming and respectful. There was no ego and I felt like I had been training there for months. The instructor provided the perfect amount of detail and was open to answering questions even though I was dropping in. The gym was very clean, and the atmosphere was perfect. I can't thank them enough. I'll definitely be back on future trips!

Jacob Flores: Great environment highly recommend to everyone.

Frankie Kraft: very friendly and knowledgeable place to train a very good workout and class structure.

Rohan Thanedar: Amazing experience! I am visiting from Chicago and was able to drop in for the evening nogi class with a friend who trains here. The head instructor, Andrew, was very kind and welcoming and taught a great class to boot. The room was full of great grapplers and everybody was very friendly! I was completely exhausted by the end of the rolls and left satisfied.10/10 would train here again, thanks for having me!

The rolls are always super tough and technical. Andrew also gave me some really great technical advice after our roll and I can't wait to implement that in my game! I'll be back here for sure.

Math 'n' Stuff: what do users think?

Kristi Boes:

Meg Gayman: This store is fantastic!! From the game library where the staff has been brilliant at giving wonderful suggestions, to the math and science resources and products, to their great Lego inventory, this is my family's favorite store in Seattle. Staff is always friendly and helpful, the pokemon trading card game on Saturday has been fun for my son to join.

Julie Kientz: . Their customer service is always really great as well. Please shop local!

K Riffell: Total gem of a place! My kids get so excited about math and science when they walk into the store.

Elizabeth Gentile: Wonderful place for finding that game, puzzle, craft. Engaging summer camps too.

S Larson: Fantastic local gem for board games, Legos & building toys, science toys, the list goes on! Customer service can't be beat, too.

Richie Magpayo: . There's a half wall of jigsaw puzzles for the adults and board games galore. As a parent of an elementary grade schooler, I love that the store has racks and racks of workbooks to supplement class learning. Parents who home school will love the materials the store has for sale.Prices are reasonable and competitive vs online stores and big box retailers. They have a reward system for repeat customers

Shannon 0: . Super appreciate them keeping the community safe with masking, too - helps my immunocompromised family feel more comfortable. They provide masks so it's not an inconvenience to remember!Cannot recommend this store enough! Shop local! Shop family owned!

Christina Green: We come here anytime we need a gift for anyone, from newborns to grandparents 😁the staff is so knowledgeable and we also appreciate their commitment to safety. We’re happy to wear a mask to help keep staff safe!

Emma Kiel: Great little shop, with wonderful staff!

Mox Boarding House: what do users think?

Ben Parkhurst: Great place to grab food and try a new boardgame. I've been going for years and it's always a fun time!

Nathaniel Hynes: Great store with a wide variety of products and good food.I usually go in to buy supplies for my model painting hobby. They are always very helpful with any question I might have about any of the games I'm purchasing supplies for. They host events every week with a calendar on their website.

Tanya Gelli: Gamers paradise. Perfect place to learn new games!

David Hallowell, PhD: , really fun ambiance, unbeatable game selection & try-before-you-buy setup. What more could you ask for? Our favorite quality is the emphasis on inclusive culture for everyone. Mox Boarding House is a regional institution.

Michael Choe: Great place to gather with friend to play some board games. They got pretty much everything here. Good times!

Zaza Love: Place where while having a snack, coffee, hot chocolate, various drinks, you can play board games! With your own games, those loaned to you or those you can buy on site. A lot of choices. The tables are large and allow you to play while drinking or eating. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Around midday there are fewer people than in the afternoon because it's a bit noisy when the games rooms are full.I especially recommend it for rainy days. This place is also made for coming and playing as a family with children. There are games for all ages.

Chestnut Hill Academy: what do users think?

酸菜鱼: I miss this place a whole lot...Holds a lot of memories-(I left when I was in third grade btw.

Kamal605 Madbar: Chestnut Hill Academy is a great school. We have a Kindergartner and a fourth grader who has been there since Kindergarten. We are amazingly content with the instruction our children are getting both as far as scholastics and social turn of events. The educators and staff exceed all expectations to assist kids with learning and develop. There are a lot of chances and backing to attempt various things. The initiative group and regulatory staff are additionally exceptionally accommodating and responsive. We feel fortunate to have discovered a particularly incredible local area for ourselves as well as our children.

Qiu Zoe: My kid is learning in this school. I really appreciate all the people who work there!

Stephen Hwang (Jawa): I’m thankful for my son’s school, Chestnut Hill Academy, for their teachers and staff. I read how the onset of the pandemic caught some schools hard pressed to support online learning. Luckily, his school was able to transition to online classes with short notice.Upper grade students took their Surfaces home and teachers started online lessons the very next week. Learning switched to using Microsoft Teams to be the central app for video lessons, assignments, messaging and class scheduling. It was a quick change, with many parents and teachers both having to provide childcare and working from home. Kudos to the school for taking feedback and rapidly learning to adopt a flexible and streamlined schedule for students. And adding a side chat channel for the students to use for socializing. Each week, students had a concise one-sheet overview of all their core class assignments. Live homeroom meet ups in the morning helped students start the day in a learning mode, but also provided them a daily connection with their classmates. Live video lessons were held in the mornings and recorded, allowing more time for students work on assignments while remaining flexible. The Teams assignments feature provided an easy way to link lesson articles and to upload homework to turn in. Specialists used their own channel and adapted their lessons for online as well. The school also set up parents with separate accounts that we used the first week to hold parent-teacher video-conferences. It is an easy way to keep communication channels open, ask questions and check in on student progress. Of course there was some early hiccups with forgetting to mute microphones and uploading to different directories. It was a big transition, but it got easier as time went on. Completing three months of online learning is an accomplishment for student and teachers alike.

Navjot Virk: Chestnut Hill Academy is a wonderful school. We have a Kindergartner and a 4th grader who has been there since Kindergarten. We are extremely happy with the education our kids are getting both in terms of academics and social development. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to help kids learn and grow. There are plenty of opportunities and support to try different things. The leadership team and administrative staff are also very helpful and responsive. We feel lucky to have found such a great community for us and our kids.

N D: Excellent school. Teachers are great and the Head of School is wonderful. We have had an excellent experience this year. The academics are rigorous. Teachers are very caring and bring out the best in their students. Parents are kind and welcoming as well.

Zori M: CHA is a wonderful school that balances strong academics with developing kids as leaders. Our daughter has been there since Kindergarten and has absolutely flourished. The school has an awesome, professional, and caring executive team and amazing teachers that teach and develop the whole child in each kid.

Adelaide Wu: This is an amazing school. The curriculum is well-balanced and with a lot of fun activities. The Seven Habits, Leader in Me and Ski program have helped my daughter grow more confident and prepared her very well for the next chapter of her life.

Radhika Venkataraman: CHA has been nothing but amazing for our son. The team that Holly leads is fantastic! They make sure that every student feels welcome and excited to be in school.

Tanya Grams: Our son absolutely loves going to school. Teachers and all the staff are great. Academically driven environment that our kid needs. He's challenged in his studies and the attention he gets from his teachers cannot be compared to any other school we toured.

BI: Exceptional school! Best decision made for our kids education. Thank you CHA!

BrandiWyne Band: My son has attended this school 1-5th grade and my daughter k-3. We have enjoyed the open communication and group effort to grow children into successful young adults. While this school has a strong focus on academics, they also care about the child as a person. They teach respect, responsibility and kindness as being equally important to being successful and a leader in life. My son is very sad to be graduating but will be well prepared for what lies ahead.

Rotary Boys & Girls Club: what do users think?

H Chen: This organization is great! My two daughters love coming here and the staff are very nice.👍

Katie Koch Meyer: Love this organization. Staff are wonderful and take great care of my son. They also look after working parents. I heard about the nightmares of summer camps, but we have found that BGC is actually more consistent care in the summer than what we get during the school year. Thank you for everyone who makes the camps happen!

Blue Highway Games: what do users think?

C J: I have been playing MTG here on Mondays for months and can’t imagine playing anywhere else! The staff is amazingly helpful and kind, they have a great selection of games, and the clientele is incredible too. I love Blue Highway and recommend it to everyone I know!

Emily White: Everything a board game store should be. Fantastic selection of board games and puzzles. They also sell puzzle books, kites, brain teasers, and Magic cards. Staff is helpful but not pushy.

Michelle Graham: One of my favorite places to play and buy games. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have an amazing selection of new and used games and a great check out library. Highly recommend if you love board games, Pokémon or puzzles.

Kayla Stinson: I felt like I was talking to a friend when I was in there. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything or rush. All the games and cards were a great cost- it's a great place to get pokemon cards too. The staff were super friendly and helpful and you can talk with them like actual people unlike places in a large business chain. Highly recommend if not for great game selection then for human connection!

Joel: They have a wide selection not just of new boardgames, but used boardgames for those with a sensitive wallet. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and welcome in gamers of all levels.

Wan L: My nerdy husband loves board games so I found this place and visited during this trip. In S.Korea the playing places are common, but offline stores are rare. I love that people in that area have this kind of warm and playful place. He is not very good at English, but he talked to staff and understood which I didn’t. 🤣🤣 lovely overall.
