Quiet, Clean and Comfortable Room ( Guesthouse): what do users think?

Dessirae Tovey: Favorite get away

Sonya Schmaus: I like the place but I don't like when they come in at 11:00 and open all the windows to clean.. plus there's no televisions.. and some of the rooms you have to walk across the hall to share a bathroom..

Candy: Long term stays. Quiet & clean, rooms are small/medium size, in residential area. Bring ur groceries to store & cook in a full size shared kitchen.

Allan Wright: This is a perfect place for a single traveler. No TVs, but everyone has a phone or laptop anyway and the Wi-Fi was better than most hotels. It's a very cool no-contact concept and the well-stocked kitchen has almost everything you need to cook, store or heat food. There are several visitor rooms and each room shares a bathroom with one other, but it was never any problem and all the common areas are cleaned meticulously each day. The bed was very nice and the walls are very well insulated, and noise was no issue even with the nearby highway. Everything is a 15-20 minute walk away, so a car is recommended.

Aidana Tynyshkali: A very clean place. We have been travelling for 10 days and this is the most clean place we stayed for the price. Everything is provided. Free parking. All necessary information is written on the walls, no need to contact a manager. We tired of eating outside. Decided to cook. Had everything we needed in this case too.So satisfied with the place, decided to write a review earlier. We still have 2 more days to stays. From just these pictures you can see how accurate and clean is this place! Thanks!!!

Greenlake Guest House: what do users think?

Lindsey Martinez: This place was my last stop in Washington, and wow I am so glad to have stayed here whilst in Seattle. My stay was absolutely PERFECT. My 'Greenlake Room' was so beautiful, the house is gorgeous, and Julie was so kind and attentive. You are given a daily breakfast menu the night before for you to choose exactly what you want for the next morning. There are so many options, you feel tempted to choose everything. The location is also perfect. You are literally steps away from Greenlake and from so many food/dessert stops. Also, you are only 20 minutes away from Pike Place Market, and other popular attractions. It is street parking, but like it mentions on the site there is always space available close by. The neighborhood feels very safe, and was quite breathtaking during sunset. I was already looking at future dates for my next stay while I was still there. This is now my go to place for whenever I am in Seattle. Thanks for everything Julie & Crystal, enjoy your trips!Safety: I felt very safe here as a solo female traveler.Food & drinks: You are given an amazing snack basket upon your arrival with some of the best cookies ever. There is also a mini fridge with various drinks for guest to help themselves in the hallway. Breakfast is presented so beautifully as you can see in the pics.

Jane Golder: , very comfortable, and the breakfasts were outstanding! We highly recommend Greenlake Guest House and would definitely stay there again!

Norma Renteria: It's difficult to describe how awesome this place was. The facility is impeccably clean, the location is premium; breakfast is delicious, including the coffee; the bed and pillows are really comfortable. But the best part is the quality of people that those hosts are. We will stay at this place every time we visit Seattle. Thank you very much.Rooms: Our room was cozy and very clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. We loved the shower too, with a very powerful jet. Also, they placed a very nice food gift in the room. Unfortunately, for health reasons, we couldn't taste the Washington wine that they gave us.Nearby activities: There's a gorgeous lake in front of the house. You can go for a walk and enjoy the magnificent scenery.Safety: You see people walking and commuting even at night. Somehow you feel really safe in that area.Walkability: You see people walking in front of the house all day long. At the same time, the house is very quiet. We walked to the subway during our visit. It's not a long distance at all.Food & drinks: Breakfast is absolutely delicious. It's so well served, that you wish you had two stomachs in order to be able to enjoy everything they offer.Noteworthy details: The house is a hundred years old. It's beautifully kept with very good taste. It's delightful to look around and find yourself surrounded with nice and classy furniture and decor.

밍슈(짤리): I found it by chance on Google, and this place is amazing. It's even prettier and cleaner than the picture. The owners and the couple are very friendly, and most of all, the breakfast is amazing. The main breakfast menu changes every day, and you can decide the next breakfast menu the day before. The garden and room are very pretty, and everything from the bathroom to the bed is meticulously equipped. The view outside while sitting at the table and having breakfast is beautiful and comfortable. This trip was truly a great success. I really enjoyed my trip to Seattle.

Eugene Yu: A very nice, warm and elegant place to stay when you’re in Seattle. My daughter and I had a very good time there. The house owners prepare many wonderful books and DVD MOVIES that are not able to see via Netflix. I hope to visit it again as soon as possible.

Robin Thomas: , so we poured ourselves mugs from the coffee maker in the hall, and sat in the communal salon to read the news on our iPads before breakfast. There is only street parking, like many places in the central area, but we had no trouble finding a spot next to the guesthouse.

Rost Gofman: and the bathroom clean and very nice including a jacuzzi tub for 2 which we used once. Breakfast is good, very well presented and tasty. The owners are very nice people that care about their guests, Julie is personable without being in your face and is full of dignity and sure is and should be proud of her place. Certainly our new go to place in Seattle:

Joe Thomas: . Each day, we walked in the park across the street. Also, there are several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Colleen Young: Stayed for 2 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. I really appreciated that they had shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers instead of small plastic bottles. The wine and snacks in the room were a nice touch as well. Julie was incredibly welcoming, available, and overall a wonderful host. The breakfasts were delicious. The location is fantastic - right across the street from Greenlake, which is surrounded by green lawns and biking and walking trails. Greenlake is centrally located and I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. Overall, good value for the price. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

C Kuster: , one person said they prefer a 'regular' hotel

Chris: Such a nice place. The neighborhood, the lake, the restaurants, and the house itself. Delicious breakfast, jet tub, comfy bed, fireplace, movie collection, and everything else. Julie was so nice, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. I really appreciated how we could text her too. Super convenient. Pretty easy street parking if you have a car. Highly recommend!

Martin Vlcek: It was clean and well outfitted. Meals were good sized and very tasty. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Marcus Berg: What a treasure!!! So close to everything and the treatment here. Pure luxurious, all the amenities are a bonus. I highly recommend this place for your next stay.

Heather Hidell: , and daily breakfast ordered straight to my room. I was on a difficult trip and this lovely stay helped me feel more relaxed and uplifted than I was expecting. It was also so incredibly therapeutic and rejuvenating to walk around Greenlake every day, even in the classic seattle rain. It's right outside the front door, and there is such a lovely sense of community walking around the lake. What else can I say - well, the mini fridge is located outside the room and shared between a few rooms, but that didn't pose a problem for me. I had their amazing breakfasts each morning

The Bacon Mansion Bed and Breakfast: what do users think?

Alan Poole: A surprisingly luxurious B&B for a Brit visiting Seattle. David runs an informal, welcoming and comfortable home from home. It's not a hotel, so don't expect all that hotels provide. David rings the changes at breakfast and I'm sure would accommodate special requests given time. Room servicing is on request - so you decide what you want done. All in all, it's very like staying as a guest in a friend's home, except, as you're paying, you can ask for some extra attention if you need it. Go and enjoy!

Kristýna Svobodová: The accommodation is absolutely amazing. It's our first time here and we're excited. The owners are amazing 🤩 if you don't know where to go for a meal or a trip in the area, they will be happy to show you and the order exactly what is worth it ☺️ Communication with the owners was simple and helpful. I definitely highly recommend using this accommodation ❤️

Amy Donnelly: and the breakfast was outstanding

marisa mom: This B&B was wonderful. David is a very friendly and gracious host. It is in a nice neighborhood that is great for a stroll or some peace and quiet. It is also within walking distance of parks, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and other retail / service stores. We stayed in the Carriage Suite it was roomy and charming. The bathroom was uniquely designed but spacious. The bed was very comfortable, I usually don’t sleep well when we travel but I slept well. The couch was comfortable to lounge on. There were some very sweet artistic touches with the toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels that added an extra detail that made it feel regal. [Photo included.] The Carriage Suite has its own entrance, so it feels like your own little house, which I liked much better than a hotel. However, there are communal spaces in the main house if you want to stretch your legs or just want a change of scenery. There is also a courtyard with a fountain and tables and chairs to enjoy the fresh air. Breakfast was French toast, one of my favorites. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the experience. I have already raved about it to our friends and family. We will absolutely be back again and will refer the Cecil Bacon Manor Bed and Breakfast to others.

Deirdre Robbins: is a unique experience. Beautiful gilded age old wood ornate charm, combined with today's amenities and wonderful service. The owners are super nice and attentive to every guest. It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood on Capitol Hill, but just minutes away from downtown by car or bus. It does feel like home, but nicer!Walkability: Stores, restaurants, and coffee shops are within walking distance, and the bus to downtown is only two blocks away.

Josh Brzinski: makes the place feel so welcoming and comfortable

Robert Senoff: So this is a fantastic location for visiting Seattle. I used to live a few blocks away from here so I realize the hidden gem that it is.You're 10 minutes tops to downtown and a short walk to the center of Capital Hill while not actually being in Capital Hill. There is off street parking and you get to stay in large, comfortable rooms. The folks running the place are nice and helpful. Plus breakfast is excellent.

mary lee schott: but probably very cozy if that's what your vibe is.Nearby activities: Restaurants, massage, french bakery, grocery store, coffee shops, clothing shops, parks, bookstores - it's an urban experience easily travelled on foot if you're amble. Loved it!Safety: The busier urban street with restaurants and shops just a couple of blocks away, and actually - just outside the door of the Bacon - does have its share of folks with mental health issues. I encountered quite a few and crossed the street or waited for them to pass. Other than that - no incidents or concerns about my safety.Walkability: it's a residential area so walking around has so many fun houses to gawk at. Plus, there are shops literally right down the street, a bus line literally one block away, and some decent hills if you need some cardio!

John Atkins: , croissants & a host of pastries from 15th Ave's Bakery Nouveaux make for a wonderful start to the day. I'd recommend this BnB over any hotel in downtown's business district or the U district for its neighborhood charm & conveniences.Nearby activities: close to coffee, bakery, shops, restaurants and bars. lots of capital hill arts venues.Walkability: walking distance to coffee, bakery, shops, restaurants, bars and Volunteer Park.

Lisa Dewolfe: Beautiful quiet and comfortable and a fantastic location. Very nice staff and so accommodating and easy to communicate with about our stay and needs.Rooms: Clean and comfyNearby activities: Many with great diversitySafety: VeryWalkability: Wonderful

Riley Bibey: I stayed here over a weekend while I was in Seattle for work and it was absolutely lovely. They were so amazingly accommodating with my super late night arrival and made sure I had easy to follow instructions to get into my room, as well as a video walkthrough which was so helpful. My room was upstairs and was quiet and cozy. The breakfast and coffee they serve in the morning is lovely and so nicely prepared. They knew me by name and chatted with me about my work and travels in the kindest way. It was super easy to get around to all the places I needed to go. I could’ve walked but there were so many things within a 5 minute drive in any direction. Restaurants, parks, coffee shops, you name it. The manor itself is such a gem, full of lovely decorations and gorgeous vintage charm. You can tell it’s been well cared for and loved. I spent a crisp fall morning out on their patio area watching leaves fall and listening to the fountain, and it was so serene and peaceful. I can’t wait to come back here when I’m not working so I can enjoy my time even more. 100 out of 5 stars for me.

Shafer Baillie Mansion Bed & Breakfast: what do users think?

Debbie L: I just loved this place. The neighborhood is full of old beautiful mansions. The house is absolutely beautiful, with the old original craftsmanship that you don’t see anymore. The host was warm and welcoming. I want to go back as soon as possible.Rooms: Like stepping back in time to a simpler life.Walkability: You can walk to some restaurants and parks from here.

Roland dela Cuesta: shower stall. The linens and towels are high quality, such as you’d find at a high end hotel. The best part of our stay was the hospitality of the proprietors. We were sent an information email prior to our arrival. We were greeted at the door by the innkeeper, Brenda, who handed me a J1772 adapter for the level 2 Tesla charger so that I could charge my non-Tesla PHEV. It turned out to be the personal property of the owner, Ana Lena, who was so kind to lend it to me for the duration of our stay. The breakfasts were excellent which included a home made, hot item each morning, cheeses and sliced meats, fresh pastries, and my wife’s favourite, fresh bagels with lox and cream cheese. Orange juice and freshly brewed coffee is available at breakfast with Keurig coffee available at all times. Mandarin oranges, biscotti, cookies, chocolates and cold, bottled water were also available all day.We plan on staying at the Shafer Baillie whenever we find ourselves in Seattle and will encourage our friends and family to do the same.Rooms: Luxuriously appointed bedrooms.Food & drinks: Excellent, fresh home made breakfastNoteworthy details: EV charger on site

Victoria: We loved this place and were sad to leave after 3 nights. It is up on a hill and above the hubbub of Seattle in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood but only a couple miles from the heart of the city. Walk around the streets up here to see the architectural beauties that were built when craftsmanship was king. The continental breakfast is top notch. There are goodies left out for you at all times. Everything is kept beautifully. The room was spotless. The owner is very sweet, generous and unassuming and has created a masterpiece here. Stay in top floor Southeast or Southwest ballroom if you don’t mind stairs. We hope to return for a longer stay one day.

Katherine Madden: We held our wedding at S-B Mansion and it was everything we wanted. Ana Lena and her staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. They are an exceptional group of people. I cannot thank them enough for all they did. We also stayed in one of their rooms for the weekend and it was a beautiful place. We plan to go back again. Thank you!Rooms: beautifully decorated and very comfortable

Janet Beilharz: so you heard everyone. This didn’t bother us in the slightest during the day or even when sleeping. It was a little hard to fall asleep with it, but it wasn’t anything that would stop me from staying in that room again.

Ray Ziemer: We stayed at the Mansion May 20-22 of 2023, returning after our first stay in 2018.Everything was exactly as we remembered except perhaps even better. The room furnishings are all period specific which my wife loved, but even better, the mattress was perfect. So glad they did not choose original mattresses!!The photos online speak for themselves, and they are true to life.If you are staying in Seattle this needs to be your first choice.Food & drinks: Many options within walking distance. If you get a Chance to do the chef tasting at nearby Carrello , it's a must.

Casey Homes: Absolutely beautiful place. So nicely decorated and spacious, the photos do not do it justice. The owners and innkeeper were so pleasant. Very easy to chat with at breakfast. And breakfast was delicious as well. Lovely croissants, smoked salmon, hot casserole, make your own parfaits, wonderful coffee.Location is great as well. Very quiet area, easy street parking. And quick walk over to 15th Street for coffee and shops. Or even down to Pike St with all the restaurants there too, only took about 20 mins! All in all, wonderful building, great location, kind staff and delicious breakfast. What more can you ask?!

Rebekah Garrett Ripley: was spacious and sparkling clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. The breakfast was continental with a delicious baked entree each morning such as egg soufflés and blackberry cobbler. All so good. Brenda and Anna are wonderful host…thank you both so much!! We hope to return to Seattle again soon and will definitely be staying at this beautiful B&B.

Stephanie D: this historic B&B, located in the Capitol Hill District and steps away from volunteer Park, is a great place to stay when visiting Seattle. The rooms are clean and well-maintained with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast is enhanced continental and coffee and tea and snacks are always left out for guests. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am visiting Seattle.

The Gatewood Bed & Breakfast: what do users think?

Kyle Allen (SeducedByBacon): . The room smelt fresh everyday and the purified water on the night stand was refilled daily. Bed was super comfy and the water pressure was strong.Last but certainly not least... The cookies. They would set out fresh cookies everyday downstairs and the 24hr Tea & Coffee station and they were baked to perfection.I will definitely be staying here every time I stay in Seattle.

Bob Massey: Turn of century elegancy - on a solid scale. Very helpful staff. So far 12 hours. A room and a bath with very very nice facilities dining, kitchen, living space and reading room. Closer to water and Lincoln Park. More tomorrow.
