Shane W: Seattle Best Tea is truly the best tea in Seattle. I highly recommend their Heavy Oolong and Pu'er. They also have expensive teas from Yunnan and Fujian, the two lush provinces where tea was first invented and where it spread throughout the world.The Heavy Oolong is a must!

Huong Truong: Fantastic light oolong milk tea flavor that felt very high-quality! Service was also top-notch and very quick. I came in ~20 minutes before closing. The person working the counter greeted me cheerful and proceeded to make my order before I even got the chance to take a turn around the shop. Highly recommend and glad they stay open past 6 p.m.

H B: The tea shop is very quiet inside with enough chairs and tables to drink and read for a long period of time. If you are a fan of their assortment of tea leaves, you can now get a in-person look to peruse various unique combinations you can only find at Friday Afternoon. I really enjoyed de-caffeinating and soak in the quiet away from the busy outside streets. There aren't that many snacks to go with the tea, though. Inside is smaller than I thought from having looked at the pictures, but has that cozy atmosphere.
Morgan Biddlecom: First encountered Friday Teas at a local convention a few years ago and I really love all the different blends and such they have, but going to the shop itself is a whole new experience! Played a really cute boardgame with my friend while sipping some expertly made tea. The staff is so knowledgeable and was willing to talk to me about tea and how to brew it and the history of it. I learned so much!I don't get up to that part of the city often, but Friday Afternoon is a mandatory stop whenever I do!
Robyn Johnson: My absolute favorite place all of the PNW is a little red chair in seattle's queerest tea cafe that feels more like home than a business. Especially with the recent decor change, I feel like anyone there could easily enjoy a cuppa tea, a good book, and maybe some quiet music on headphones. If you haven't tried any of friday's blends, I encourage you to do so; you won't be disappointed.
drew: There are dozens if not over a hundred tea options here. I had a delicious blueberry peaflower tea. Their large pot is definitely enough for two people to share, maybe even enough for four people if you’re not too thirsty.

They just recently did a massive remodel to improve the setup of the space, to try and provide us with the coziest atmosphere they could. Kyle Miller: Fantastic loose leaf tea shop. Staff is always friendly, and knowledgeable. Tell em what kind of flavor you're looking for, and they have always had a recommendation, or been honest and would say they didn't have quite that and would offer an alternative.
Mandy Gillis: Such a fun tea shop with loads of great flavors! My recommendation for a perfect black tea is the Yunnan Congou!
Patrick Tabor: Great selection of tea. I wish they labelled more info about the sourcing and pick dates of the tea, although it is undoubtedly high quality. Something I noticed is that they use clear jars for storage and clear plastic wrapping for the samplers which is a shame to do to such fine tea. Wish they had fancy teaware, but they do sell some of various colored ceramic.

Torrei W.: Great high quality fresh loose tea options. When we arrived there was a sample kettle of tea out for the customers. The shop is small and quaint with decent pricing but not the most competitive likely due to distribution buying power for small shop. Highly recommended some of the best loose tea mixes here in Seattle.

I might have told them half sweet with pearls, I really don't remember anymore. I only have like 1 photo of the place and it was the outside because there were no more seating within the establishment.After my first sip of the boba, I was surprised, white people do a great boba. The Hojicha was perfectly bitter and creamy at the same time. On top of that the pearls were delicious and perfectly sweetened. I would still give them 4 stars for their drinks and how amazing it was. I might be coming back? But we will see in the future! Good Job y'all.

You won't regret the experience!!I can not recommend this place enough.My sisters and I went here for a tea class and the owner was knowledgeable, funny, and extreamly skillful. She taught us a lot and explained things in a way that even a beginner could grasp. Learning this style of tea has become a real source of joy for us and this class helped all three of us expand in that in different ways. We are already looking forward to coming back for another class on our next trip to Seattle.If you are interested in gongfu style tea, Chinese style tea, or Taiwanese style tea this place is a must. Make time for a class on your next trip. You won't regret it.
Laeo Light: Amazing little shop. You can get everything you need here, including an education on how to make tea. The shop owner is so kind and made me feel very welcome despite how new I was to this. Definitely visit.

Kevin Ng: One of the few tea places in the city that emphasizes the phenomenological aspects of tea consumption and the art of appreciating the aroma, textures, and aftertastes of 乌龙茶! Too often do tea galleries have a knee-jerk tendency to list lots of supposed health benefits of teas without any consideration of the quality of the empirical studies underpinning such clinical claims. Unlike those places, this tea store sidesteps the whole 'health benefits' trend entirely and focuses on the much more straightforwardly accessible experiential dimension. The importance of this dimension ought not be underappreciated!
Ray Lee: Floating Leaves sells high quality tea and has great service. I’ve ordered twice and things are always neatly packed with an additional sample and personalized note. Their descriptions come with a lot of transparency that gives me confidence in the product. Highly recommend the Alishan Black, and any Oolong they stock.

Steve Moloney: Excellent service and products. I know very little about Tea. Phoenix Tea Shop taught me a lot about tea and set me up with a nice kit a well. I could have spent less or a lot more for the best stuff. I bought the $25 cake of tea not the $75.I just made a pot of Jasmine Tea from the old stuff we got at the grocery store and then I brewed a pot of aged 2016 Cloudy Days Jasmine Tea at 170 Degrees for 4.5 minutes. The difference is HUGE; Like comparing bakers’ chocolate to milk chocolate.

The passion and knowledge about tea was clearly evident in their operations, and they showed great respect to the cultures and origins of the teas as well.
