MadArt Studio: what do users think?

Lisa Fruichantie: At a time when our art galleries are disappearing, we need conversation that bridges connection through diverse perspectives. MadArt provides a straightforward container for a transformative experience by curating artists that offer fodder for both visual appeal and rich dialog to flourish.

John Taylor: A gallery exhibition space with art made by artist in the space. This is not a gallery to come and purchase something to take home. Art and especially sculpture needs a place to be seen and enjoyed. Madart does this very well.

Hayley Serres: We had such a wonderful Wedding thanks to MadArt Studio!! The venue and location are fantastic! Katie, the main contact, was so helpful and easy to work with. If anyone needs to plan an event in Seattle, I would 100% recommend MadArt!

Roger Knopf: A veritable blank canvas of a studio, and when we visited artist Alison Stigora had taken full advantage by constructing huge floor to ceiling swirl of driftwood with some pieces weighing about 2500 pounds!

Val G: We attended a wedding here. I think it is a very cool space! BEAUTIFUL place for a small to medium size wedding. My only complaint was how hot it was in there! I am talking miserable, sweat dripping in your eyes, shirt drenching HOT!!! Don't know if there was no A/C or if it wasn't working properly. This is the the reason for the 4 stars.

Evan Minichiello: Great space. Clean. Easy to schedule and easy access for some amazing exhibits

Stacey Warren: Always something interesting too see here.

Paula Stokes: Once again MadArt knocks it out of the park with this fantabulous installation by Casey Curran.

Claire Cowie: Always an incredible art installation to see. Sometimes you can interact with the artist in person, while they're in-process.

Lily: Did the 3 hour private lesson for my husband’s birthday and it was a blast! We loved the Netflix show Blown Away and wanted to try it out for ourselves. Our instructor Darrien was super informative and patient, and helped us make 5 custom pieces. He even made us a beautiful wavy bowl at the end! The front staff were also very friendly and accommodating. We have a newfound appreciation for the art of glassblowing!

Briar Rose: The environment was very inviting upon entering the store/shop. Staff were kind and open to discussion while I was waiting for my time to start on a two hour private lesson. They explained everything in detail from safety and use of the different tools to how to handle each piece. They did step by step on how long to keep the piece in the furnace and when to bring it out. The shaping of the pieces was done by the instructor, but I was still able to help during some of those points. Such a great experience and I do plan to come back when I can to do another piece.

D.R.: Yoshie Sugo was our masterful instructor. Everyone enjoyed our experience with her. Great studio, awesome teacher. Do it!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Rebecca Rose: My husband and I are long time fans of glass blowing and we’re obsessed with Netflix’s Blown Away so we had to book a session at Seattle’s glass blowing studio! Edgar was the artist that assisted us and did a great job, he’s super chill. We made 2 pieces and can’t wait to go back now that we have the hang of it. Love that they let you watch the other artist create pieces as well!

Eric Hann: I am very happy that I get to experience how to make the glass bowl. I am thankful for my instructor , Malcolm, for his patience and knowledge. Great experience for me!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …

Mercy Cherotich: The services was great

Tera Jones: What a treat to stay here. The suite we stayed in was so comfortable and beautiful. I love how the bathroom was so separate from the bedroom. The building is absolutely incredible! I felt like i was in Downton Abbey. The location is, of course, excellent and mostly walking distance to where we wanted to go. Everyone was so friendly and even patient for the night we had a few cocktails. Room service was great also! Their breakfast is to die for. I'm a sucker for good eggs Benedict. The king crab benedict... wow. And the dining beyond that was exquisite as well.

Nick Villanti: , which worked great for the kids. Also had large hot tub with fill fitness center too.We did room service twice and the food was pretty good.Parking is offsite in a shared garage. You can self park or valet. Just make sure everything is out of the car. I wouldn't want to leave anything inside.

Yanderyn “CalCo” Shoup: Visited for the speakeasy vibe. Very nice and elegant. Takes a while to get in but wait area is wonderful.Food & drinks: Pricey but great! Atmosphere was chill.

黃薏涵: Finally, with the help of the concierge employee Sayaka, he found my friend's information and asked my friend to ask for my address.I thought this matter would be over, but it wasn’t!The director actually wrote me a letter today

Pratt Fine Arts Center: what do users think?

s k: Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle offers a vibrant space for artistic exploration and community engagement. With its diverse range of classes and workshops in various disciplines, from glassblowing to metalworking, Pratt fosters creativity and skill development. The facility is well-equipped, and instructors are knowledgeable, providing a supportive environment for both beginners and experienced artists. Additionally, Pratt's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity enhances its appeal as a hub for artistic expression in the Seattle area.

Sruti Lankireddy: I really enjoyed my class at Pratt - I took the 1 day class in color theory. The teacher was knowledgeable and explained the concepts clearly with exercises that reinforced the concepts. I’d love to take another class here.

Jeff Jeff: Great equipment and excellent classes. Classes are also a remarkably good value when you consider the cost per hour of instruction.

June Park: They offer a variety of classes at different levels and the instructors are amazing. I’ve taken different classes so far and feel very grateful that Pratt exists in Seattle!

S Day: Learn something useful already.

Hailey: I have had a wonderful experience with Pratt so far. I just completed the introductory stone carving class with Leon White. It was an 8 week series from 6p-10p every Wednesday. Our group of 8 bonded and had a blast learning how to use the hand and power tools. I was an absolute beginner yet I learned a lot and had so much fun. Very nonjudgmental and supportive environment. Looking forward to taking the next class in the series.

MDH: Big studios, good equipment and facilities. Instructors are super knowledgeable and friendly. They were explaining the process in detail which made me a bit more confident when working with hot flames.I had a blast in the glass studios. There is plenty of free parking around the building.

AmberPhlame De B: They have everything, from glass to fabrication, woodworking, metalsmithing, printing. The instructors are absolutely fantastic, the buildings are a little "vétuste".

Dana Rolax: What Washington calls Pratt park, We call it Bryant Manor park, those are the connected apartments. Anyway its a wonderful park with roofed basketball court and ample parking.

Katria: I loved to print. Place is good and needs everything for some kind of printing techniques.

Mary G: Loved the glass blowing class. It was amazing. I can't recommend it enough.

The State Hotel: what do users think?

George Buscay: We are staying in the State Hotel right now. We've been here for 5 days and are leaving on May 1st. This hotel has been a great place to stay. Steps to Pike Market, comfortable bed, clean, quiet, and professional staff. I needed a few extra items in the room due to not feeling too great because of medical treatment a lot of the time and being on meds that require refrigeration. Special thanks to Taylor. It's our first time in Seattle and couldn't ask for a better place to relax. The view is great and good people watching from our room. Kathleen

Chris Owens: This is our new every time we come to Seattle place! We've visited Seattle numerous times and never really found the perfect place to stay until now. The State Hotel manages to be elegant and quirky all at the same time. Every design detail is perfect right down to the combinations of wood and leather in the furniture. The lobby is a delight. We had plans to meet friends at a nearby restaurant but insisted they meet us at the hotel to show off the lobby. The location is perfect, just 2 blocks from SAM, The Benaroya and Pike Place Market. We will be back, again and again.

christine campbell: My favorite place to stay in Seattle. I wish the artist who designed the wallpaper had prints!

Mathew Thom: 2 blocks to the Moore Theater, 1 block to Pike Place market, walking distance to several great bars and restaurants and across the street from target! Nicely appointed rooms. Best parking rate of any Downtown hotel! And under 200$ for a king. Will stay again.Food & drinks: Ben Paris restaurant in house. Did not eat here though

P. E. McKee: The 30 year retrospective really underlines how this gallery has encouraged and supported regional artists to pursue excellence.

Oni Resurrect: This was a lovely place absolutely enjoyed the entire layout, the people were nice too and they liked my hoodie so I guess that's a plus.

RON TANZI: I've never been disappointed in exhibitions at this gallery.

Victoria Ritts: Drie Chapek's Gallery exhibition is absolutely riveting, haunting, exciting, and alive with joy. It was a thrill to be there.

Dr. Brenden Witte: I have come to expect the unexpected from the Greg Kucera Gallery, though I expect find my favorite artists here! Awesome space and supremely focused on what is important - the art. Easily the highlight of my trips to Seattle!

Paula Stokes: Top notch gallery with friendly staff. The current group show is excellent. Loads of space. Go visit!

Kira Harris: Loved the Jacob Lawrence exhibit!

Christopher Jones: Wonderful exhibition of Jacob Lawrence work.

Christian Mahoney: They have exquisite pieces for viewing and for sale. I reached out about consignment and they couldn't personally help but they pointed me in the right direction and were very professional.

Hayden Amaro: This gallery has some of the freshest art work in Seattle. My personal favorite.

Hotel 1000 Seattle: what do users think?

Steven Royalty: My wife and I spent 7 nights at Hotel 1000, so I will do my best to organize my feedback.Room - Bed was incredibly comfortabe, shower and tub were perfect after walking/hiking all day. Great view if you're on the upper floors. A/C worked very well. Only two minor complaints here;. the TV isn't a smart TV, so no watching Netflix/Hulu/etc. and the on-demand movies are very expensive and the mini-fridge is already filled with drinks you have to pay for. Good luck fitting more than one or two items in there yourself.Service - Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. Check-in and out were super fast and simple, the doormen were fun to talk to and helped us in/out of ubers. The spa on-site was a wonderful experience and room service was prompt. My issue here was with access to ice. I know it seems minor, but having to call guest services for a bag or two of ice chips was annoying. Let me get my own ice, please. The location is perfect in my opinion. You're within walking distance from Pike Place, T-Mobile, Lumen and a hundred other shops/restaurants. There are ubers/cabs all over the place, it's very easy to get to from the airport and you have great views from your room. The sunsets were gorgeous.I would be happy to book a stay here again if we returned to Seattle. I'd likely upgrade the room to a higher floor for an even better view. I really wanted to try out the Golf Sim and some of the other spa packages. Just be ready to open your wallet and call every time you need ice.

Rosalie NM: The room, ammenities, and location were great. The employee interaction not so much. We got in late Friday night and the receptionist did not tell us what the checkout time was. So I looked on the checkout screen on the TV and it said checkout is available from 4am-1pm. It does not state anythung about requesting a late checkout for 1pm. We booked the golf simulator that morning and had plans to leave at 12:30pm. At 11:40 housekeeping was knocking on our door telling us checkout is 11 and she can give us until 12. I told her the tv checkout time said 1pm. She said she was going to talk to her supervisor. Never heard back.

CryptDrip: the water comes from the ceiling to fill the tub, it splashed everywhere as it was filling up - with the brown residue and the water it turned the towels brown, and our white socks. They do provide little slippers which helped but the floor was too slippery when wet and kept finding myself having to take off the slippers or walk like a grandpa clinging onto the sink. Also, I wish they had firmer pillows. To end it on a high note; the hotel is in a great location. There was plenty of places for us to visit nearby for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Many attractions nearby too! The hotel also had a restaurant that is open pretty late. This hotel was great, worth going to and staying at!Nearby activities: Pikes Place Market, Seattle Aquarium, Argosy Boat Tours, Piers and more are all super close to this hotel.Walkability: Seattle is very walkable but especially from this location, you can reach the Pike Market within 15 mins or less. The pier is very close, with plenty of souvenir shops and boat tours available. There’s also a Target close by for necessities. If you’re wanting to go further out to Space Needle, MOPOP or the Chihuly Garden then it’s about a 25 minute walk to these destinations, which wasn’t bad. There was a lot of local coffee shops, restaurants that we would have otherwise never looked at and we felt safe making it to those destinations.

Jonathan Morris: I haven't been to a hotel and been this pleased in years. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. The staff are INCREDIBLE. Drew at the front desk and everyone else were super amazing and friendly. This will be the only hotel that I visit on my trips back to Seattle. The restaurant is good, as is the bar.

The Escape Artist: what do users think?

Luca Walker: Good for birthday partys

Phil: Edit: Came back for Atlantis. There were some tech issues with a broken sound bar that took away from the experience, as well as starting 30 minutes late. Our GM was as accommodating as possible but the tech was not there to back her up. The room itself was super fun and the set design was nice. Compared to spell struck, I think they are both a lot of fun and would probably give the edge for Spell Struck because of the tech issues we faced. Without tech issues, this could be a really great room!Did the Spell Struck room and it was great! The rooms were very thematic throughout and the introduction was wonderful. There are some fun surprises and the puzzles were enjoyable with many feeling familiar if you have some experience, while others having unique mechanics. The room was somewhere in the middle of non-linear and linear. There are parts with multiple things to work on and others with 1 main task, thus it is probably best for 3-4 players. It did seem that they were short-staffed as we were a bit rushed out of the room. The photo area after had no thematic props whatsoever. Overall I would put this room in the upper ~25% of rooms I have done and I highly recommend it!

Jessica Peralta: Host was very kind and entertaining. Puzzles were fun and intuitive. I can not sound more robotic than right now, but I am not a robot. Genuinely had a good time.

Rita Perez: Super fun room! We did the 13th floor. Definitely will return.

Kyle Frawley: Had a great time! Very accommodating. We called alittle late and they still got us in. Friendly/helpful staff!

Connie Love Sychowski: The 13th Floor was a lot of fun! The puzzles were great! They don’t lead you on a wild goose chase. Great way to spend an evening. We enjoyed it so much we went back today for another room!

Chelsea Pulliam: is one of my favorite escape rooms in Seattle!

The Maxwell Hotel - A Staypineapple Hotel: what do users think?

Paul Manning: Chandra is one of the best desk staff I have ever seen, and had the pleasure to work with. She went far above and beyond to help me have the best experience I could get. Her recommendations were all spot on. She was like a desk clerk, concierge, and manager all rolled in to one person. If I ever make it back to Seattle I am definitely staying here again.

Jen Kaplan: .

Robert Merlin: This is one of the most creative and nice hotels I have ever stayed in. The pineapple and puppy themes are welcoming, comforting and entertaining.Rooms: Plenty of space including in the bathroom. Bed is very comfortable. Lighting in some places is a little poor. I appreciated the free bottled water.

Gail Cowling: , there was a water bowl and doggy poop bags

Jennifer Johnson: This is a delightful place to stay! They seemed a bit understaffed when we arrived, but, aside from that, everything was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely laid out. Little touches like a complimentary drink and pineapple cookies are nice. The decor is loads of fun and the overall atmosphere is joyous. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The ART INN Seattle: what do users think?

Joseph Ryan: First trip to Seattle. This place was perfect for lay low time and sleep. Perfect location for all of our needs. Clean and well kept. Would definitely stay here again!Safety: High tech security, while keeping the simplistic vibe.

Heather Niven: that’s split into rooms, updated, clean, and had essentially everything needed. The person that called us on the phone to tell us the details was pleasant. The bed was comfortable & I loved the towel rack. What dampened the experience for me was how cold it was inside. That sucked. Otherwise a fine experience!

Lenna Southland: It's not a luxury hotel, it's a couple of converted houses... But it's well done. The rooms are very cute and well furnished, and it has everything I could need - a bed, a desk, a tv, mini fridge, a place to hang my clothes, and a bathroom with a toilet, vanity, and shower. And a towel warmer-bonus!

Ben Reese: I really enjoyed my stay here. We were there on the weekend and didn't have any problem with noise. It's a cool neighborhood. The deli across the street is good. The German restaurant down the street is also. Walked to the Bainbridge Island ferry, not too far. Never saw any staff and only saw other lodgers once. The cleaners did a good job.Walkability: Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Gallery 110: what do users think?

Em Hudson: Super small gallery and very cute. It's a limited venue but celebrates local artists. I called ahead to confirm their hours, and the person on the phone was friendly. When arriving, they had a lot of pamphlets and materials about other galleries in Pioneer Square which were great to read through. Not suggested for large groups. This is a nice, intimate gallery perfect for admiring art in a quiet space.

Carl Aardsma: Very fine, intimate gallery with a real passion for helping promote up and coming artists in the community. Very friendly staff.

kathie Moritis: Love the art! Pioneer Square has several first rate galleries, including this one, which is small but selective. Parking is a real headache, though, unless you can snag one of the few places on 3rd.

Tara King: So cool

Devan Huapaya: Amazing art, very knowledgeable employees.

John Wilmot: Great coop art gallery

Dante Fox Fox: Innovative, quality fine art. And friendly director.

Saundra Fleming: Ambitious interesting artists

Paula Maratea: I love this little collective gallery. Group of ecclectic artists run it.
