Beadworld: what do users think?

Nell'z G: The best service ever, esp ß@my ol Ge... if not for BEAD WORLD I would never e able to show my talent of the variety of Native Jewelry that I created, shared, opened Indigenous Events, sell, my Earrings, necklaces,etc... which I still do @ my o age. Never a boring day when I shop @ THE BEAD WORLD... The only time I don't have a gd day is when my husband is at my side, watching me buy items , products, beads, tools, equipment, all I use that provides me to make money, hat gives me the opportunities to grow. I LOVE BEAD WORLD FROM DAY ONE...

C. Stein: Huge variety of materials for you to make your own jewelry. From gemstones to Swarovski and everything in between. Even if you want to replicate something you saw on Pinterest, bring the photo in and one of the incredibly friendly and helpful employees will guide you on what you need and how to do it. If you need help with a project, bring it into the store and you can craft it there with some assistance. Most of all, they are the most affordable bead store for the quality of the items you get.As a side note, get here early if you plan on making a trip because their parking lot is small and fills up quickly. And because they are nestled in a residential neighborhood, street parking can be limited.

Maddy: This place is so cool, every time I’ve gone in the staff working has gone out of their way to help me make what I wanted to. Affordable too!

Kelly D: The selection is amazing! Be warned though, the selection is so beautiful and unique, you will find more than you are looking for! The quality is superb and the only thing better than the beads and other items is the customer service. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, truly above and beyond. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for jewelry needs. You can find anything you need at Beadworld!

billie smith: What a fun experience! They have a very impressive selection of beads and tools. Definitely stop in and look around. You can't help but find something you'll love!

babydoll watson: Neat store. Great variety.

Shelby Ryan: huge selection and workers are great!

Vivian K: Large store with a huge supply of beads and jewelry crafting supplies. Prices can rack up fast, but a great resource! I'm so happy I learned about this place.

Jynn Schubert: I can't get over how cute of a store this is! Went there for the first time today and immediately knew I'd need to come back with more time on my hands. Highly recommend! Everyone was really nice, too. A really nice employee helped hand me a bead tray for the loose bead section when I clearly had no idea what I was doing

Shannon Andersen: and not feel pressured to "hurry up and buy". Yesterday, I found a pre wired pendant that I wanted to suprise my daughter with, and they assisted me with constructing it on the spot! They are all friendly and helpful!!

James Allen: Greatest by friendly staff. Big store with lots of beading and crafting material and tools. Very impressed with content.More than beads.

Cassie: Local bead store for glass beads, Toho, Miyuki, Delica, stringing materials, looms, bead matts. Highly recommend coming in for their beading needles, great price and fair to thread! Staff is amazing, great stories, excited to go back!

Nadine Lezard: I'm so glad I found this shop! I arrived late with merely 6 minutes to shop before they closed and staff was very helpful and the selection was amazing like they just about have everything for your little crafty needs and I can't wait to make another visit to this little slice of bread heaven!

Bryan Everett: Wonderful experience 😁

H D: Juan is amazing.

morgan nixon: Great place to learn if you are new to jewelry making or if you just want to learn a new skill! Instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming to all skill levels. I just had a great time! Can't wait to take more classes

Eason Goodale: Awesome place, classes are very welcoming even to absolute beginners.

Kathy M.: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value

L A: Fun jewelry class. Very informative.

Sylvia Barcena: What a lovely place to work on your jewelry and a good place to keep learning, there’s a lot of courses through the year, great teachers.

C Maione: Danaca Design is a great place to learn new jewelry making techniques for beginner or experienced students. Took the class A Feast of Textures with Nancy Megan Corwin. Such a talented instructor, very informative and easy to follow. Great classmates... all so inspirational. I can’t wait to use what I have learned.

Laura Hall: I loved the beginner's jewelry making class this past weekend! We finished a copper brooch and silver, jeweled pendant. I really wasn't excited about the brooch but I see now why we did it-- learned a lot and made the pendant much easier. Dana is a hoot and a wonderful, patient teacher. Will absolutely be going back for further classes!

Zophie Leslea: I took a class here and it was delightful! The teacher was wonderful, as was the space and fellow classmates. Overall wonderful for the reasonable cost!

Twyla Dill: Danaca is a wonderful studio for taking classes! It is a small, intimate class setting and their instructors are extremely knowledgable and creative! Plus, the gallery is a great place to buy unique, handmade jewelry.

Bethany Staelens: I just took my 4th class at Danaca. Another hit! Low-tech enameling class with Allan Thorne was great fun. He's a wonderful, knowledgeable teacher and very entertaining. I learn a lot and laughed a lot. Can't ask for a better experience than that!

Cassie Sun: I have been honored to be a part of Danaca Design community over the past year. With amazing workshops, great facilities, Danaca Design is the most welcoming community. They offer classes ranging from Beginning to specialty classes like wax-carving and fold-forming. They also have one of the most awesome jewelry collections in town.

Yas. A.: Nice staff

Andrew Bowerman: I just made a ring at the Danaca Design and had a Awesome time. The culture is super friendly all of the students walking around to see each others work looking for inspiration and being super positive and supportive. All of the tools are clean and well maintained and up to date, and the same can be said for the work space. Dana is probably the most delightful person you could ever work with on a project one on one, I loved her humor. You will have a great time here!

Mike Campbell: , so there is plenty of opportunity to receive 1-to-1 guidance and help from the instructor.

Baraka Gems: what do users think?

Preethi Manohar: I popped into Baraka Gems to get a tangled chain repaired. I had expected to drop the chain off and pick it up later. Much to my surprise, Jamie happened to have the bandwidth to repair my chain immediately and was so kind to do so. I truly appreciate the quick service and that I was able to walk out wearing my favorite necklace.

Trey Harnden: This is a very quality, honest, and reputable jewler. I worked with Taylor to have a custom engagement ring created based on an existing ring. She was phenomenal at helping me through the process and getting exactly what we envisioned to come to life.

Sierra Barajas: Baraka Gems has an amazing selection and excellent service. I had my eye on a small estate piece and when I finally pulled the trigger, the team had it for me resized and ready to go well before the expected timeline. I will definitely be back next time I'm looking for a new piece.

Jordy Jacob: Bought my engagement ring here after working with the team on designing a custom one. Had a great time working with Taylor to design it and it turned out great! So good we came back to work on wedding bands with Taylor again!Would recommend for people looking to make something unique and timeless.

Elizabeth Schneider: They did a fantastic job opening up the pendant loop on some hand painted jewelry from India so I could thread a silk cord through! Very professional job and I can hardly tell the pieces were worked on. I am a very happy customer! 10/10 would work with them again!

Emily McCaleb: Amazing neighborhood jeweler. I've had two rings resized with them and no complaints! Easy to schedule an appointment, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and reasonable timelines/prices. Their jewelry selection is incredible, too!

Aaron J. Shay: Great staff, very informative and prompt service.

Destiny Brandt: This shop did EVERYTHING in their power to be sure we were educated, and communicated with. We were given every single option, and they provide us with every detail from their expert view. A nightmare soon peaceful thanks to Jamie and his team.A night and day experience from the original seller we worked with. Despite the low cost to repair the ring, we were given such 5 star service. Truly incredible.I will be loyal to this shop forever, and have many custom jewelry plan that that this shop will start shortly. Their inventory, partners, work and custom service was perfect, and they went above and beyond. The owner sent tons of emails to make sure we were feeling secure and taken care of, and the staff, including Claire showed such care.I felt so safe, taken care of and supported as a buyer and human, and I can’t imagine having better service. Thank you so much!

Caroline Steen: I needed to have a necklace restrung which had broken. The team at Baraka Gems were really friendly and helpful and had experience with this type of necklace breaking. The cost for a repair was reasonable and I'm very satisfied with the result.

Nicholas Pampinella: Jamie, is the type of person who truly cares about their customers. We went searching for a unique custom wedding ring and time and time again met with a one size fits all, mass produced & sales pressure. If you are wanting to propose or surprise someone special to you. The quality and authenticity of treating you as an individual resulted in a far better experience and end result with our wedding ring. By Jamie being extremely knowledgable in this space. Even spending time on the things that you want to watch out for in wedding rings. How great is that! We all live stressful lives and work hard. When you are departing with hard earned money you want something your person will cherish. Jamie, did exactly that on top of having an incredibly ethical story to add to why he started the shop.

Suz Vaughn: Baraka Gems are wonderful people. They sorted my inheritance with me. I came in with a large assortment of jewelry that I had no idea what to do with. I found them to be straightforward, informative, and patient. They went beyond a visual sort and tested the metals and looped the stones.

Robin Miller: I had been struggling to find someone to resize a piece of costume jewelry I want to wear for my wedding. After several other shops told me they couldn’t work with my piece, I stopped by Baraka Gems without an appointment and was not only lucky enough for them to be available to help at that time, but they were able to make the adjustment. This place has many amazing pieces of jewelry and my cheaper costume bracelet may not even have been worth the effort, but I was given excellent service from start to finish. I’m really grateful!

Evan J. Peterson: TL:DR: great work, high integrity, eager to make things right.I don't have much fine jewelry, but I will absolutely come here again whenever I need a piece repaired. I brought them my late mother's ring from the 60s/70s, and they were able to replace a stone that seemed more or less unavailable in the US. It took a while, but that is a supply issue and not the fault of Baraka. They found an almost identical match to the missing stone, and they took the matching process very seriously. They even gave me a discount for the delay *even though* that delay was beyond anyone's control and the piece was already a very slim profit for them. These are great folks.

Sara Cassidy: I love working with Baraka Gems! They are kind, helpful, talented, and knowledgeable. It was easy to communicate with them and find a time to come in. Plus they fixed my ring way faster than expected. Their shop is so inviting and has gorgeous crystals decorating their space!

Laura Sargent: I had an excellent experience at Baraka Gems with Jamie and his staff. I was able to sell some unused jewelry for a fair price. Baraka also transformed some of my unused jewelry/gems into pieces that I now will happily wear. I highly recommend visiting them!

Tyler Jensen: Incredibly helpful jewelers, very responsive and easy to make an appointment with. Super friendly

Amanda Loshbaugh: Beautiful jewelry, I love the older pieces. Everyone who worked there was very friendly. I just needed some rings resized and they treated me well.

Caroline Lee: Great, helpful staff. They helped my dad create custom rings for my sister and I and then again helped me when I had to get mine resized later.

I'm not a real impressed with their string stones though other than that, they're awesome

Maria Harless: Nice clean store with friendly employees. I’ve never had to wait too long in line to pay.

Allyson Love: Incredible selection of materials for all kinds of crafting projects. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Cassia Gorgazzi: Got exactly what I was looking for. Happy to know there's an arts and crafts store in my neighborhood. I'll definitely be back.

Richard W: One of my favorite local businesses. Great selection. Great staff.

Sharon Finden: Fantastic store and knowledgeable staff, in the heart of the hill! Classes too!

Rose ro: Cute little store! Not too pricey, especially for in the city. They had lots of different "stitch" related craft stuff. I saw a great fabric selection. The yarn section is smaller than I would like, but honestly very reasonable for the amount of stuff in the store. I just always want more yarn 😭. Customer service was great and they even wount the hanks I got into cakes for me! 10/10

Alina Boychenko: its a lovely store, and I would much rather support them than a chain but as an avid embroiderer that strictly uses pearled cotton the selection is slim 😔

Laura (Factofmyth): Great selection of fabric for such a small space. Blessed to have this in the neighborhood.

Laura Felice: Really nice little shop! It's a small place, but they have a lot of selection for the size and everything they sell seems to be carefully chosen and good quality. Really friendly and helpful staff. It's great to have a fabric store in a location that is so accessible without a car!

Ye Olde Curiosity Shop: what do users think?

Jody Carter: Fun place with a lot of unusual items.... half oddity museum, half store. It's all for sale, but I'm not sure who would want most of it! The mummies were admittedly cool. The 2 player pianos were unique. The overwhelming smell on incense at the entrance forced us out much sooner than we would have liked.

richardjudlin661: Very nice and friendly employees

Chrystal Curiel: Love this place. Not much has change there over the years othe then they have gotten a lot more stuff. It is not for the faint at heart but great place for curious people. Shrunken Heads and mummy's are the attraction and many other oddities Super cool to check out.

Robert Green: They got the name of this place right. Enough said

Bret Perry: Always fun.

Debra Doser: This place was always a favorite of ours while visiting the waterfront. The store looks as if it has made the place smaller, and it looks like the fudge lady is gone now.It still has some pretty unique merchandise in the store, and well be worth a visit.

GTD Family: Always lots of things to see and buy. 😁We almost always try and make it here if we're in the area already.

Green Lake Jewelry Works: what do users think?

Nicky Wolfe: I had no idea what I wanted in an engagement/wedding ring and had been really overwhelmed by all the chain jewelry stores we checked out, so I was really nervous going in for a consultation for a custom ring.Rebecca was amazing at helping me narrow down and identify things I liked or didn't like about rings without overwhelming me with options. She was also 100% on board and very enthusiastic about me wanting to include dragons in the design. The ring is beyond perfect. It's wonderfully detailed, very well-made, and has 2 gorgeous dragons. We're already talking about going back when my spouse is ready to "upgrade" his ring.

Matt MacAdam: . Then working with my wife, who is very artistic, Sasha came up with a really nice concrete design

Nakos Sarkar: After searching meeting with a few different jewelers we decided to go with Green Lake which is out of state for us. The design work, kindness through the design iteration process, and overall professionalism is above what we were hoping for. The designer that helped us, Sophie, was a gem to work with, amazing communicator, and was wonderful with accommodating. I trusted them with a high stake item, and they honored and exceeded that trust.

Marc Staiger: Hannah was so great! We really appreciated all the flexibly and guidance through the design process, and we are so happy with the final result! Your shop is great and unique to be able to provide all the customization we were looking for and the craftsmanship is amazing. Thank you!

Thomas Heap: I highly recommend come here. I got a custom engagement ring for my partner here and it was a fantastic experience. I worked with Sasha and I can’t rave about her enough! She is the sweetest person ever, so easy to work with but still very professional. She took her time with me when I was getting anxious. While designing the ring gave me great feedback with all of her knowledge and experience. Honestly she made this experience unforgettable and I appreciate her so much!!

Sammie Gorham: Sophia was wonderful, no pushing or up-selling. All my friends recommended I go to Greenlake and now I do too!

Ian Clark: Ellen was fantastic throughout the whole process. Great listener and took the time to answer all our questions and create a beautiful piece.

Rob Fugate: What an incredible shop! When we began our process we had looked around to a few national jewelry stores and had made an appointment based at Green Lake Jewelry Works based on their reviews, although my partner wasn’t entirely sure what she even wanted.Sophia quickly wow’d us with her attention to detail and personable touch. She listened to everything my partner described and held our hands through the whole process. Made it as painless and smooth as possible, while answering our mountain of questions throughout the way, never getting impatient. The ring turned out exactly as we were hoping for and is truly one of a kind!! Since the proposal, my partner has been getting nothing but compliments and double takes on how beautiful the ring is!Couldn’t have been a better process and final product! Thank you so much!!

Matthew Boddewyn: Our experience with Green Lake Jewelry Works, specifically with Hannah P., was exceptional. We were supported every step of the way. Hannah’s commitment to understanding our visions was instrumental in helping us realize them and we are thrilled with the final products!

Camilla Osborne: My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Sasha to design my wedding ring. She made sure to understand what I wanted and provided guidance along the way. After quite a while of tossing around different ideas, I am beyond thrilled with the result. I'm obsessed!Sasha was the best to work with and we felt so welcome each time we visited. 100% recommend coming here and working with Sasha!

Kelcey Nicholas: I loved working with Rebecca - she is an amazing designer and artist and I will continue to recommend her and green lake jewelry to everyone. My ring is amazing and so special and the design process was so much fun to go along with all of the memories!

Jessica Conrad: Ellen and the whole Green Lake Jewelry team were truly wonderful to work with. They expertly facilitated our design process with sincere excitement and patience as we ideated our way to two custom bands with heirloom gems. We couldn't be happier with the outcome – and can't recommend them enough!

Stacey: We chose Green Lake Jewerly based on their very highly rated reviews. They were worth the drive from Poulsbo to Seattle for us. We worked with designer Sasha to create a perfect ring. Sasha made the process flow very smoothly. She gave her insights and was extremely easy going to work with. She provided estimated dates for when the wax model and finished piece would be ready and was right on the mark. The final piece was ready exactly the date she promised. We will continue to work with her and Green Lakes for our wedding bands and highly recommend them.

Manuku Duvi: and helped us every step of the way. You guys are awesome!- Spencer

Paul Milius: to ring pickup, we were impressed. Hannah gave us fantastic advice on ring styling and wild cards that turned out to be our favorites and eventual choice ... being able to incorporate a family stone was very important. Hannah didn't minimize our preferences or lack of knowledge; instead, she was warm, professional, and energetic throughout the process to get us the perfect ring for the moment. Thanks GLJW - 98% ring, 2% my charm for the "I do" haha.

Butao Chan: Beyond expectations of custom jewelry experience and spectacular piece made by talented artists

Taylor Cline: I love this place. They did an incredible job designing my engagement ring and wedding bands 5 years ago, and they are also a great and affordable resource for taking care of an antique ring I recently inherited. If you need custom jewelry or repair work, you can’t go wrong with GLJW.

NW Rockhounds: what do users think?

Perry M: and there are so many awesome rocks. Only downside is I always end up spending too much money because there is so much cool stuff.

High Wild Places Photography: Great rock shop with spectacular specimens, both large and small. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.

coral jackson: This is an amazing experience. I was looking for specific items, and they had what I wanted and more. The young lady who helped me was kind and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be there again.

Kerri M: The people who run this place are a real gem. Not only are they friendly and infor ative, they also offer a ton of classes at amazing prices.

Bethany C.: I really love this shop. I don't live in the area, so I don't get here as much as I would like! But when I do, I'm always impressed with the selection and variety. There are tons of specimens on display for purchase and a fantastic variety of small pieces which is nice when you don't want to break the bank. The facets and cabochons are amazingly organized which is wonderful because, as a jeweler, that's where I go first! On my most recent visit, a gentleman who facets stones on display in the shop stopped in and he was wonderful to talk to. It's definitely a shop for people who love rocks and owned/staffed by people who also love rocks. If I ever move closer, I would love to take some of their classes!

Daniel Matedne: Down to earth staff, knowledgeable and friendly along with great products and awesome inventory!

Nancy Snow: I loved the 4 hours I spent in this shop looking, selecting slabs, raw stones, and stocking up on lapidary supplies.Very cool selection and fair prices. I found more than I was expecting. They have it all for jewelers and lapidary creations.

Robbins Brothers: what do users think?

Will Lujan:

Michelle C: Very friendly staff, super helpful. The gentleman with the reddish hair and beard very kindly took the time to answer many questions about jewelry I’d gotten elsewhere, which was above and beyond what you’d reasonably ask for in service

httfc productions: Fantastic staff, easy to talk with. Knowledgeable on the diamonds for sure! Great priced quality pieces. Will definitely be back.

Julie Sunada: Mac was so helpful and honest. I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else!

Om Kale: This place will always stay close to my heart. Got my girlfriend an engagement ring from here. They are the best and very accommodating.

H. Valentine: My fiancé and I went ring shopping together in 2014 — and now, seven years later, my husband and I are still doing business with Robbins Brothers. From actually purchasing the rings to providing service to this day, we both really, really appreciate the jewelry team over there on the Seattle waterfront. We have since moved to South Carolina, and even now I send them in for yearly maintenance or anything else that goes wrong with them. We purchased a protection plan way back when and they still honor it to this day, fixing missing stones and tightening prongs. Plus the rings come back pristine and sparkling, always a plus. 💎Special thanks to Max and Danielle, who have made the process so nice and smooth for us. Merry Christmas!

Michael Lynch: Great experience. We did a custom design and it turned out great! Joyann was super helpful through the whole process and we are thrilled with the result.

Michael Sutherland: Great service from James!

Jaime Browning: What a great experience! Joy was the absolute best, extremely professional on the phone and in person. She went above and beyond to achieve the highest level of customer service for me. Joy drove across town to another location to pick up the matching ring to my set, while we had lunch. Ensued me I’d have my rings back before the wedding, since we drove about 2 hours to Seattle. Thank you Joy I appreciate you.Jaime

Derek Bernard: Amazing service

Blair Carleton: So much fun to go in with my daughter and have each of us design our very own custom ring!

Cat V: Cool little place to stop in while waiting for Cafe Flora.

Chloe Lee: Sally is incredibly talented, kind, and thoughtful in her designs. For those who value quality, timeless design, and uniqueness, Fancy is an oasis of inspiration. McKenzie Brickl: Love Sally's designs! Cannot wait to work together on a new ring.
