Tilikum Place Cafe: what do users think?

Ryan Chavez: This place is a great little restaurant. Get a reservation while you can! Dinner was fantastic! This place runs like clockwork since there are two chefs making all the food. It's quite a feat! The French Onion Soup is so cheesy and sweet, highly recommended. We followed it up with the Spring Salad which was refreshing. Our main entrees were the Halibut and Pork Tenderloin. Both were so delicious. The pork was light yet hearty and the fish a perfectly crispy skin. The servers were super friendly and personable. Even though they were plenty busy, they took their time to stop and chat and answer questions. Definitely coming back!

D Walker: Definitely, one of the best meals I have had in years. The service was attentive and personable from the time we came through the door until we departed. Great wine selection, the burrata/fava bean appetizer was amazing, and the risotto was extremely well executed. The pork chop was so tender, and the greens and crispy polenta were the perfect complement. Highly recommend.

dasa djuric: The dutch baby pancakes are incredible 🙌🏻Food: 5/5 …

Jeremy Tafoya: Tilikum Place: Where every bite feels like a culinary hug! From the delectable dishes to the impeccable service, this place hits all the marks. The staff's warmth and expertise elevate the experience, especially when sipping on their divine Old Fashioned made with love. Oysters that sing perfection and an atmosphere that whispers relaxation, all at a great price. Tilikum Place is a must-visit gem! This was a great way to end our Space needle sight seeing!

Portage Bay Cafe - South Lake Union: what do users think?

paulharps: The service that we received here was excellent, so much so we told the manager. Unfortunately I did not catch his name but he had long dark hair put in a pony tail. Clear explanations of all the food and drink items, very attentive to our needs, nothing was too much. The food was very tasty and came out in a timely manner. Cannot give the food a 5* as the Benny was good, but not amazing, the pancakes however were great.

Ali: We dined in here for the breakfast, and we found the food just normal in comparison with other restaurants in Seattle. We ordered omelet and avocado toast and both were good in terms of portions, but the bread was over thick which leaves over balanced combination in the bite. The black coffee wasn’t up to the quality, and the same with “fresh squeezed orange juice”.

The Fat Hen: what do users think?

Stephanie: was delicious. Every dish

Clark Skillman: cares about consistency and balance. We arrived right around noon on Monday and waited no more than a minute for a table to be reset for us. That said, almost all inside tables were occupied at the peak of service. I imagine long waits on a Saturday or Sunday... But you've been to a busy brunch before, I don't have to explain the headache to you. From here, we took a leisurely stroll downhill to where we live near the Ballard Bridge. Go even just 1 block west of 15th St for a happy little residential neighborhood of Ballard. Houses seem more quaint and cuddle closer together on thin streets, shifting the power to walkers making it much more enjoyable than driving.

Toki C: My favorite French toast in the whole world! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and you can taste the syrup and butter in every bite.Whenever I try French Toast around the world I always compare it to Geraldine’s but so far this is my favorite! Hope it becomes yours too!Service was great too!

Adrian Christoph: We were in the area trying to find a great breakfast spot for my fiance's birthday, and found this restaurant. It was our first time and had a great experience, Jeannie was our server. Food was delicious. Thank you!

Lily Van Scyoc: First things first, get here early on a weekend and expect to wait.Second, get the French toast. It’s so crispy and the rotating toppings are always delicious. My other favorite thing is the Geraldine’s casserole. It’s so filling and flavorful. The juices and mimosas are also great!

Leo Levy: Best corned beef hash, French toast and biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had! Made with care, fresh and unusual ingredients, and served in a lovely, comfortable and unpretentious space by people who are excited to be there.Great coffee too, with free refills!

Bacco Cafe: what do users think?

keith horgan: Our first time to Seattle and we had been given a recommendation to a different restaurant for breakfast and couldn’t get a table with some disappointment. We found Bacco as a backup and quickly realized it was a major blessing. The food was excellent, from the amazing French toast and biscuits to the herb roasted potatoes, chicken sausage and perfectly made bacon. We thought we were done, but then tried their unique fresh squeezed juice combinations which were great and we took them on the road with us. The vibe is chill and the staff is super friendly and attentive. This is where we will start our next visit.

ArcAngel: Beautiful view, delicious coffee and delightful staff. The food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was charming. Not too pricey either!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options on their breakfast menu such as waffles, french toast, bagels, parfait, omelets and pastries!!

Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

Jay X.: , she forgot about us again and never came to pick it back up. At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. For a total of $100+ and $20+ per dish, it was not worth it, considering the lack of service we received.

Tesfachin Assefa: Recommended dishes Half Order of French Toast

Torrei W.: This restaurant has an delicious and amazing menu. We usually go for brunch and order Omelet w/ Chorizo, Omelet w/ smoked Salmon, half order of the French toast. If you haven’t had their French toast before, it is comparable to Geraldines, which I can’t decide between the two has the best French toast ever.. Their service is very fast and the people who work there are friendly, kind, and very professional. The location is in Capitol Hill, which is a melting pot of city people.

L R: at brunch

Robye Lumb: Many of my party have had great experiences here so we decided to give it a try for brunch. We were easily seated as a party of five at a large table, but that meant we were in a corner with two speakers above our head and two space heaters heating our party. At random times the music seemed to have been turned up, so it was difficult to talk, making it uncomfortable. That said, the space is comfortable, the service is friendly and helpful and it seemed everybody helped the other staff members, at least customer facing. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent;I look forward to a future visitVegetarian options: Well, the vegetarian options were not listed separately, was not difficult to figure out what was, and was not vegetarian.I’m not sure there’s anything vegan on the menu, but as I’m vegetarian, I had plenty of choices. Two of my party were there exclusively for the French toast and I have to give a three thumbs up to it!

J B: Luzy was the nicest server ever! Good food and great prices. Somehow there was no wait, we’ll be back!Parking: Parking is very challenging. Recommended to take the light rail to Capitol Hill station.

Bruce Cooperman: Great restaurant. Went for breakfast and enjoyed the food very much. The service was very good but a little lax and the seating in the restaurant is tight.Parking: It’s Seattle. Parking can be difficult.

Portage Bay Cafe - on 65th: what do users think?

Ann Wu: We initially went to the Portage Bay Cafe - Roosevelt location. However, the line was insanely long and the hostess was rude. We decided to go to the 65th location instead. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it very much. The fig jam adds in a different complexity into the sandwich, on top of the smoky Gouda cheese and a hint of flavor from the arugula. The egg was fluffy and complemented so well with the crispy potato bread. Portion sizes are decent and I got to bring half a sandwich home! Our waiter was kind and attentive; atmosphere was comfortable and cozy.

DMeganR: Love that reservations are available. Sunday brunch was super yummy. Filipino breakfast passed muster with my Filipino husband, was delicious. Gluten free options always a gold star for me. Coffee was A+. Not the friendliest service, but also not unfriendly, so I guess it depends if you care about that kind of thing. Most importantly all the food was very well prepared.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for dairy and gluten issues.

Maria Ramya Caesar: We kicked things off with the "World Butter Plate" – nothing fancy, just a fun way to taste different kinds of butter. Then came the mouthwatering Indonesian Pork Belly and the downright amazing South African Bunny Chow. Seriously, they blew us away. And to top it all off, we indulged in the Danish Drømmekage Dream Cake.Overall, the food was out of this world, and I absolutely loved the vibe of the place. It was totally unique.Would definitely visit again

Sara Roth: the war fries and the south African bunny chow. The waiter was patient with us when he was explaining how to eat everything and the food was out of this world with flavor. I would definitely come here again. The decor is also perfectly on theme!

Gregory Lee: were very delicious. Highly recommend the Brazilian Acarajé and South African Bunny Chow. As far as the water bugs - if you want to see your friends squirm and have a laugh, then try it. Otherwise, the bugs really don't have much flesh and the taste was not my cup of tea. Would not recommend that dish for the price. Everything else was 👍 also, don't bother looking for street parking, just park in the public lots as the price is about the sameParking: Don't bother finding street parking, just park in the public lots as the price is about the same

Kiran S: Nue on Capitol Hill isn't just a dining spot; it's a small, charming, and undeniably hipster haven where culinary adventures await. Stepping into Nue feels like entering a cozy retreat, where each dish promises to surprise and delight. My recent visit to Nue left me wanting more, and I'm excited to share my experience. To kick off our journey, we started with the Beirut Style Hummus—an absolute treat served with warm, fluffy pita bread. The creamy texture and flavorful blend of tahini, lemon, and garlic made for a perfect appetizer, setting the stage for what was to come.We ordered the Portuguese Peri Peri Chicken Sandwich. Picture tender chicken, marinated in a fiery Peri Peri sauce, nestled between slices of toasted artisan bread, and topped with crisp lettuce and ripe tomato. Each bite was a burst of bold flavors, perfectly balancing spice and freshness.Next up was the South African Bunny Chow—a dish that stole the show with its bold and comforting flavors. Savoring the aromatic curry served in a hollowed-out loaf of bread was an experience in itself, transporting me to the streets of South Africa with every bite. This was shockingly amazing! The ambiance at Nue perfectly complements the eclectic menu, with its quirky decor and laid-back vibe. The attentive service only added to the charm, making our dining experience truly memorable. In conclusion, Nue on Capitol Hill is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary adventure waiting to be explored. Whether you're a food enthusiast or a curious diner seeking new experiences, Nue promises to delight your taste buds and ignite your sense of wanderlust.

Bobby T: . However, the rest of my experience was amazing. Our server, Chrissy, was unlike any I've ever encountered. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and detailed in explaining how each dish was prepared. It was an unbelievable experience, and if you visit, make sure to ask for her. She will give you a dining experience like no other. The highlight of my visit was definitely her service. The food was outstanding. We tried the clam chowder, which was excellent, and the mimosas, which came in different flavors and were delightful. The salmon was incredibly flavorful, and the appetizers were amazing. Every aspect of my dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning.A special thanks to Chrissy for her phenomenal service and for creating such a wonderful experience for us. She truly elevated the art of serving to a whole new level. I would also like to mention the manager who came to our table; it was a nice touch. Overall, I would give this place 10 stars because five stars are simply not enough for this exceptional restaurant.

Will Oberst: Superb wedding venue, great for all weather conditions

Mary Wynn: 30 years ago, minus 2 days, we had our wedding reception at Saltys. We stopped by today on our way home from a night in Seattle and decided to swing through West Seattle. Randomly, we thought we would step into Saltys for some random skyline photos, then it dawned on us..our anniversary was 2 days away. We had not planned on staying but they were so great and we thought it was very nostalgic. Mara the manager treated us like royalty. She sprinkled the table with rose petals, gave us a signed staff congratulations card, drinks on the house, cake to die for and John F, the server was a top notch professional. There is a reason we had spent so much time there through the years, but this day was over the top special and the staff sealed the deal. We have been away too long. One of the photos was from 30 years ago. Thank you John F and Mara.

Andy Derscheid: Always a great experience here, for locals and tourists alike. You can't beat the view and the service, and the food and presentation match its quality. Plenty of fresh seafood and excellent steaks. Definitely get the seafood chowder no matter what you order. Solid cocktails and truly top notch service. All in all a fantastic experience.Parking: There is on-site parking but the spots are small, so leave the full size trucks at home.

akain: JAY FROM ENHYPEN RECOMMENDED THIS‼️👀

Emerson Butler: and was so knowledgeable and friendly! Our waitress, Megan, was attentive, made fantastic recommendations, and just provided some of the best service we have ever had.Even Benny the busboy was right on time to clear our appetizer plates and other dishes! If your busboy has made it into my review you have really made good hiring choices!!And that’s just the people. The FOOD. The food was to die for. To start we got the Thai chili prawns, and the moved on to a crab-stuffed sturgeon and a halibut with mushroom risotto. To finish up we got a crème brûlée and the delicious cake you can see in the photos

Kennedy Farmer: This is my first review I’ve ever left because it was such a great experience! My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and all the staff there made it feel so special! The food and views were great, I highly recommend the crab stuffed steelhead! Our server Ignacio was super friendly and patient when we were being indecisive about how to start our orders. This is a great place to go for a special occasion, we will definitely be returning!

Billy Xia: 5 star view and 3 star food. A solid 4 star seafood restaurant overall. The seafood was fresh but nothing stood out. Definitely on the pricey side but you are there for the view.Note: Not vegan / vegetarian friendly.

Cheyenne Kruse: . The Shaksuka is very tasty but it’s basically a large bowl of marinara sauce. The bread to sauce ratio is very off, I would definitely ask for several extra slices of bread if I was to order it again. Otherwise, you’re basically just eating

Alicia Scribner: Great cocktails, food and service! Bonus knowing all the food was local!

Joel Smith: Really cool spot they have great food and drinks all sourced locally. Definitely worth the stop.

Caroline V.: We stopped by for Sunday brunch and totally fell in love with the environment. The grapefruit mimosas are to die for. The food excellent!Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes …

Jessica Stull: Their weekend brunch biscuits and gravy was the best I've ever had. Delicious!

Molly Ronne: This vibe tho!!! The Motown playlist had me hooked all night while eating my delicious meal. Wine was presented beautifully and decanter table side. Small plate, large plates, both delicious. Next time I go I'll definitely hit up the desserts. The menu looked quite tasty.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: Yes …

Lennart Wong: I went there with my company. Good food. The steak was okay. Not Met Grill or John Howie level but also not as expensive. The appetizers were quite good. We got calamari and grilled brussel sprouts. Both were delicious. The drink was also good. I don't usually drink alcohol so I got mocktail. I had some bland mocktail before but the one I had in Local 360 was pretty delicious.

Kate Gruver: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No

Sriharsha Akella: Good local collection for cocktails

Pooja Chaudhary: . I have to say, I love the food here. We tried the spinach Benedict, the huevous rancheros and the shakshuka - absolute perfection on all counts.I was worried that the shakshuka wouldn’t be as flavorful because of my previous experience with chefs just not doing it justice, but Local360 has hit that nail on the head!I’ll be coming back again.

Juan Carlos Gallegos: The duck hash and tangerine juice were good, the space is decent, especially the upstairs area. It's nice that they have candles, even during the day. Other dishes looked good too.

Ian Switzler: Excellent food and service ! The sausage gravy was fantastic .

DeBuen Diente: Nice restaurant one block from the market, the dishes are good and varied, the quality can improve, the drinks are good, the most recommended is the madame sandwich, the waiter's attention was excellent, the service was a little slow since there were quite a few people, the Prices are good for a tourist place, nothing outstanding but a good option for breakfast

Michael Senkow: Was quiet at lunch, would recommend for a quick work lunch.

Naima: This place is tucked away adorably at the market. I thought, well it's so close to the market it must be a tourist trap? Nope. Guess it's been around too long to be such. Delicious authentic food, coffee, and a bright atmosphere with considerate staff members. One of few memorable meals had in my week in Seattle. My colleague recommended this place. Will be recommending to others! Thanks.

Aneka Zarger: I loved everything about this location. The food was delicious and their offerings have something for everyone. The food came out fairly quickly considering how busy the location was. Our waitress and the sommelier were both helpful in answering questions about pairings or dishes. I highly recommend trying their sipping chocolate as you may overlook it! While the venue is smaller and can get a bit loud due to acoustics, they do a fairly nice job of maximizing the space they have.

John Hicks: Amazing food. Will definitely come back

Shaker + Spear: what do users think?

EZ: Shake and Spear exceeded my expectations in more ways than one. Not only did the restaurant boast an inviting atmosphere and impeccable service, but it also impressed with its efficiency and attention to detail. Our food arrived promptly, a pleasant surprise compared to other restaurants of similar caliber. The seamless coordination between the kitchen and our table ensured that our dishes were served promptly, allowing us to savor each bite without delay. Additionally, the staff effortlessly cleared our finished dishes, ensuring that our dining experience remained smooth and uninterrupted.Furthermore, I was pleased to find that the restroom maintained the same standard of cleanliness and sophistication as the rest of the establishment. Its pristine condition added to the overall positive impression of Shake and Spear, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to excellence in every aspect of the dining experience. In sum, Shake and Spear is a true standout in Seattle's culinary scene, offering not only delectable cuisine but also exceptional service and attention to detail. It's a dining destination that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable meal.

Yan Sun: This is a restaurant that is very, very worth visiting. The reason why it gets four points is based on my own usual evaluation system. In a place like Downtown, the taste needs to be very distinctive to match the location and customer base. And parking is so difficult. It's fine here.We ordered the appetizer of tiger prawns, seafood barbecue and seafood pot. They are all signs. The appetizer base includes mango and cherry tomatoes. The tiger prawns are not too big, and the tail after cooking is only as big as a six- or seven-year-old child's little finger. But it tastes really great. My kids raved about the side dishes. There are chickpeas on the bottom of the seafood pot, and the soup is a little spicy and very delicious. Pair it with clams, shrimps, and the sweetness of the seafood is brought out. The seafood at Grill, the snow crab legs are average, but fortunately they are plump. Two pieces of corn may have different origins, one is sweet and the other is dry. The shrimp is excellent. The sausage that goes with it is great. The child ordered two flavors of ice cream and didn't expect it at all, so I can't comment on the dessert. The service is super good, which is rare in Seattle. The atmosphere is very good, which shows that the quality of the surrounding residents is very high.

Jade Kelley: . I absolutely love the ambiance too. It’s a true wine bar vibe. Shoutout to Robin, our waitress that had amazing energy.

Marcie Swazer: Zero complaints. Their food was all top notch quality bursting with flavor. We ordered the octopus, the 1/2 dozen oysters, crab fritters and the shaved Brussels sprouts with edamame. My husband went crazy over the Brussels, do not skip!Their cocktails were too good and very strong. You can tell they use quality ingredients.Robyn was our server and made us feel very welcomed right away. The hostess was also very nice. Robyn was very informative about the dishes and drinks and helped us decide what to order based on our own tastes. She was attentive but not overly attentive. The vibe and decor was also really fun. We’d absolutely come back to try more dishes and drinks!

Spoog: Servers were so kind and the food was super amazing.
