Melissa Aguirre: De.Chue is kind, respectful and understanding. He ask me for input on any chances to my treatment. I get to see him weekly and the staff and nurses are amazing.
Susan Clark: treatment that was very effective for me - and very well tolerated. From the very first treatment he was available 24/7. Even in the initial consultation that lasted over an hour and a half, he made sure I fully understood his recommendations and helped me feel very comfortable with the plan. Here I was not just another patient walking through the door. I was an individual being treated for my specific type of cancer, and I was given individualized attention to help my body handle the protocol as best as possible. The entire staff is welcoming, caring, and very helpful. They made all the difference, and I felt so well cared for and supported the entire time. I could not be happier to have found Dr. Chue and the Lifespring Cancer Treatment Center. My experience here far exceeded my expectations, and I will be forever grateful to everyone involved. There aren't words to express how highly I would recommend this place. This is where you can find the care and treatment you deserve during a very stressful time in your life.
Darlene Staal: . Also my CA# fell from 699 to 273. I have way less spasms and cramps and am able to take care of myself without the bad side effects from high dose chemo and radiation, which is what I was first told to accept after being diagnosed with cancer.
ellinor petri: the world stopped, I was scared and unsure of what to do next. With a diagnosis of cancer, you are usually shuffled off to a hospital or big cancer facility with fancy decorations. This almost happened to me. I was scheduled for treatment at a hospital. I sat down on the sidewalk crying and praying for answers, because I did not feel it was going to be the right approach for me. I remembered a recommendation given to me by my radiologist for Dr. Chu who takes a more holistic cancer approach. He was an answer to my prayers. I finally felt peace and believed I could win this fight under his care. I was grateful he agreed to be my doctor. I hear so many sad stories of side effects post treatment. I am grateful I do not have any neuropathy, memory loss, full head of hair ...... I feel how he administered my care protected me from these side effects. During treatment I learned how to eat better, take vitamins, received acupuncture, mind body care, laugh therapy and more under his care. Dr. Chu includes you in your treatment planning. He is a brilliant oncologist who prescribes treatment for the individual. He does not treat you as a number on a chart, but a person. He prescribes treatment according to the individuals needs and protocols. I think the unfortunate problem is people get referred to Dr. Ben Chu too late. These people may have gone to other facilities and treatment may not have been successful. If people could find Dr. Ben Chu early I feel their chances and out comes would improve. Since my battle I have been able to get married, created many memories with family and friends, climbed mountains, road trips, bike trips, run marathons, and live with a grateful heart. None of this would have been possible without Dr. Ben Chu and his supportive staff. I know my words are not enough to express my gratitude but I hope it can help you when you are making a decision on your journey. Dr. Chu is a blessing to the world and to those under his care. Beverly Luxon: I highly recommend Dr. Chue and Lifespring Cancer Center. Dr. Chue gave me hope when I needed chemo again for Lymphoma. My original oncologist told me that low dose chemo “would not work for me” and predicted that the cancer would “return within months”. After a year of low dose chemo with at Lifespring through Dr. Chue, I have been living a normal life since 2016, 3 years. I had huge lymph nodes on my head, the size of an orange! They began reducing the day that I started chemo at Lifespring and have not enlarged again. Dr. Chue gave me hope of decades ahead, leading a normal life even though this type of cancer is not curable. He manages it well so that I often “forget” that I have cancer. They assess each person’s situation and condition each time you go in and make adjustments to your treatment accordingly. They are careful to make sure you overall health is not too compromised all throughout your chemo journey. The staff is so caring and nice. The office is a pleasant environment with no loud pumps or alarms like other cancer treatment rooms. The patients get to know each other and become lifelong friends. If a person needs chemotherapy, this place is the best place I know of to get treatment and have much less side affects that high-dose chemo. It’s strange to say that I looked forward to going there, but with such a pleasant environment and wonderful staff, I found myself enjoying those days at Lifespring.

Brainard Shiu: This review is on behalf of my wife Christiana Shiu. She asks me to type this post for her. She was first diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. Four months after finishing a regiment of regular treatment consisting of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, the cancer came back. Then she found Dr. Ben Chue. That was nine years ago. After one course of chemotherapy the tumor was gone and she is now cancer free for all these years.Dr. Chue is a remarkable doctor. He is knowledgeable and very sensitive to the needs of each patient. The staffs are wonderful too. You can feel their support and encouragement through their smiles and kind words. Every visit to the Center is a step of hope.
Wendy Westlake: I was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer in 2015, I then lived on the Big Island of Hawaii. With the diagnosis I was offered chemo and radiation, both would adversely affect my heart and lungs, I was also offered Hospice. I had more support in Seattle so thought it would be better to die there.I had heard of Dr. Chues low dose chemotherapy from a acupuncturist who had worked with him in Seattle.So I checked it out. It was a better offer than what the cards in my hand were saying.I flew into Seattle 10/10/15 and within several days met with Dr. Chue. As a retired RN, I had given chemo, and seen its affects, yet this seemed a more humane approach, one that might not kill as it attempted to cure. I started chemo on 10/15/15.While no treatment program is without side effects, I was able to complete thirteen months of weekly chemotherapy. I am quite sure I would not have survived a "standard" protocol. I am celebrating today three years and seven months of remission.It is hard to express the full accounting of this journey. I am very greatful for Dr. Chue, his staff and his vision for helping people. None of us live forever, but we do have choice in the quality of that living, And am so appreciative of the choice that this M.D. Offers.

Marki Allen: We found Dr. Chue after going to several Oncologist in Spokane and Coeur D'alene Idaho--- Dr. Chue was recommended to us by a previous client of mine. From the first appointment we realized Dr. Chue was very different from the other doctors. He spent several hours with us, explaining the entire origin of Chemo treatment, why and how most doctors use it and how he has come to his own protocol. My husband is now on his 18th treatment and everyone we meet, including other doctors are amazed at how well he looks.We love Dr. Chue and his entire staff, they are completely supportive and even interested in alternative and supportive therapies we are doing along with the Chemo treatments. Cindy Shackley: I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in June 2018. I started my treatment with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance - Folfurinox, maximum dose - which was pretty harsh. I heard of Dr. Chue's metronomic dosing approach and wanted to meet him. He spent over 2 1/2 hours with my partner and me; explaining so much to us about cancer and chemotherapy. The metronomic dosing is easier on my body and Dr. Chue has changed my treatment once already because of some side effects I was having trouble with. He treats according to what I need, not just whatever the protocol is. He is passionate about curing pancreatic cancer and has seen many patients survive well past their original prognosis. I have been at Lifespring Cancer Treatment Center since September 2018 and have had excellent care while being there. Sometimes I feel like I'm his only patient because of the direct care I get. The nursing staff is excellent as well. If you are needing hope for your cancer needs, consider meeting Dr. Chue - I really think you will be glad you did!
Jie Chen: Dr. Chue is not only an amazing doctor, but an exceptional person. He cares not only about fighting the cancer inside a person, but the patient themselves as well. Dr. Chue takes the time to listen to a patient's concerns and is always thinking of different methods of treating someone's cancer. My dad, Shao, has been with him for three years now and it's been a great experience. His low-dose chemotherapy regiments and other additions have really helped him out! Don't hesitate to contact him if you have cancer, or are seeking a second opinion. Dr. Chue is one-of-a-kind.

Larry Nafziger: During this past January & February of 2022 I went through the SCCA Proton Radiation Treatment for prostate cancer. I had learned that this was a successful and quality treatment for prostate cancer and decided to spend 6 weeks in Seattle to do this. This is an amazing treatment for several kinds of cancer with very good results. For me, the best part of this experience was the people at the Proton Center. The atmosphere at this facility was different than any medical center I have ever been to. Every day it was a pleasure too walk in the front door and be greeted by Jessica, Ian, Colton or Annie. They always greeted with a smile and were the perfect people to provide the encouragement needed for the patients as they came in for their treatments. The radiation therapists that I met with for each treatment were amazing people. Nicole, Aja, Trang, Cliff & Katelyn were the primary therapists I saw each day. They were always kind, compassionate and professional. Their experience was evident and I had much confidence in them. They were the best!Likewise, the nursing staff was excellent. During the 6 weeks I met with Sami, Steve, Micah & Sita. What a special group of caring professionals.It is a privilege to have Dr. Jonathan Chen as my doctor. He is very knowledgeable about the proton treatment for prostate cancer and his manner and care is at the top of the chart!I am very grateful to have been able too have this special proton treatment and believe it has been the best option for me. Because of this great group of dedicated and caring people, I believe some extra days have been aded to my life.The most difficult part of this treatment was saying good-bye to everyone on the last day.Thank you so much for making this such a positive and healing experience!Larry Nafziger
Paul Dombrain: I don't think I need to tell you how terrifying it is to get a cancer diagnosis. Then, to learn that part of your treatment will be getting radiation treatments. I really was shook to my core. The staff here that with me and explain the process. Gave me a folder with all the information about the treatment and the side effects and what to expect in the weeks to come. By my second visit they all need me by name. They were so friendly, empathetic and their professional and calm demeanor really put me at ease. You can tell these people are professionals and you can tell they really care.
