Ahimsa Dog Training Seattle: what do users think?

Brittney G: Only our first class and it was so good. I feel very confident about training and being successful.Screen printing success!

Sean Baxter: My wife and I got a new puppy last year and we wanted to start socializing with other dogs right away to make sure he would be a confident adult. Our dog Pip is a cavapoo who will be about 10 pounds full grown and we were concerned about his safety if he played with larger breeds. We are so glad we found Ahimsa because not only do they have a small dog play group that’s perfect for Pip, but Wynona and the team do a great job of managing dog interactions and ensuring every dog is able to feel safe and confident! When we started doing puppy play groups, Pip was a complete wallflower and sat in our laps for the entire time. He gradually started to venture out but was still hesitant around other dogs. It was difficult for us to see other dogs quickly thrive while Pip didn’t have the confidence to play with others even after attending the group for a couple of months. Winona helped to coach us through this challenging time by pointing out the areas where he did grow, helping us to understand his behavioral cues and make Pip feel more secure, and putting him into manageable situations that helped to slowly build his confidence. After a few months of attending weekly classes, we saw a huge breakthrough where Pip played with another dog for the first time! Since then, things have only gotten better and he has only gotten more confident! The room for puppy play is broken up into several different sections which are totally secure and isolated. This allows the team to split up dogs with different levels of energy and make sure every dog is in a situation that’s appropriate for them. Dogs will get rotated between sections during the play session and the team will pair specific dogs together based on how they are interacting. There is a big variety of dogs that are in the play group with many different breeds and personalities. There are a lot of regulars in our group and it’s been good getting to know them and their dogs over time. It’s also great for the dogs who often become friends and look forward to seeing each other every week. There are also plenty of new dogs that join in and help to keep things fresh! In addition to the play groups, we also did the Puppy Elementary curriculum which helped Pip build upon his fundamentals and greatly improved his ability to walk on leash. We got practical exercises we can do outside of class and direct feedback from the trainer during class to make sure we were doing things the right way. We’ve taken a break from behavioral training to focus solely on interactions with other dogs, but look forward to joining a more advanced class in the future. We love Wynona, Erica, Crystal, and the rest of the team at Ahimsa and so does Pip! If you are looking to socialize your dog or do behavioral training, we highly recommend you try Ahimsa!

Jennifer Wee: We've been taking our puppy here for the puppy classes, playtime and day camp. As an ancient breed that is somewhat notorious, it was imperative that we worked early with socialization and setting him up for success, and it's one of the best things I could have done for my boy! Everything is well structured and thoughtful and ran by trainers that really know what they're doing and are passionate about it!If you have a young puppy, I don't think there's anything more valuable that you could possibly do than enroll them into the day camp and puppy classes. You're getting structured socialization with new puppies constantly which not only teaches them how to socialize better around dogs and people, but generalizes this skill as well!100%, I would HIGHLY recommend!

Daniel Hanson: Love this place. I brought my first pup here 16 years ago and just did another round with my new one. They are kind, accommodating and clear with their training techniques. I'll bring all my pups here!

David Johnson: First time puppy parents!. What a great way to bond with our puppy and learn a few skills to start him on the right track. Our puppy Kona loved it here and really enjoyed the puppy playtime built into each session.Really impressed with Wynona and how she spent time with each puppy and person in every class.Highly recommend!

Brittney Geleynse (The Witch Princess): Great pacing, simple straightforward instructions. Our puppy is doing so much better and we look forward to continuing to train.

Lori: Love the trainer's and the training style. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about dogs. They have updated their facilities since I was there last it looks very nice. The staff is still amazing.

Derek Rocco: At puppy Kindergarten, they're very accommodating of dogs of all behaviors! Our shy puppy has a very safe and low-pressure environment to socialize with other puppies, gets great excellent training onsite, and I feel much more capable of teaching our girl at home too! Feels like a must-have experience for all Seattle area puppies.

Miranda Espineli: Knowledgeable instructors who will work with you and answer any questions, and great to have a set aside time to work on training your dog.

Zoom Room Dog Training: what do users think?

Carla Benavides: I love this place. My dog has improved his confidence, and we are building a stronger bond. Thanks to the trainers of zoom room.

Diliara Akhmetkhanova: Good place if you are first time 🐕 parent , got a package of 5 playgroups , in my case every single time they start 5-7 minutes later , but always finish on exact time and don’t compensate minutes of waiting. It’s kinda awkward just to stand outside and wait for them to finalize let you in . They do good job with complimentary donuts for dogs . Also no good grassy area for pets to relief themselves

Paula Stokes: A wonderful facility to practice training with lovely staff!

Jenn S.: My dog reactive pup has really been enjoying the private agility training sessions. She feels safe there and does not have to worry about other dogs in the space while she is there. She has been able to learn at her own pace and is having a fabulous time.

Declan Richards: Zoom Room is a great spot to train your dogs! We have loved taking or pup!

M.K. Davis: All in all a pretty nice place. It's kept clean and the knowledgeable staff make you feel welcome.

Simeón Cogswell: Super professional and helpful. Their shy dog class REALLY helped our older pup who's anxious. We've just started the agility course training and it's fantastic.A+ highly recommend.

Suz X: Our favorite place to bring our 1 year old dog, Lia, for training! We've been doing group classes consistently for the past few months and there's been a noticeable improvement on Lia's neutrality around other dogs. Our dog is easily excitable and always wants to play, so the no-greeting rule and overall class structure has helped her learn when to calm down. You'll need to dedicate time at home to master the training exercises, but being able to practice in class with other dogs and people is invaluable. Instructors are great, we especially love classes with Annabelle!

Julie Calcavecchia: Fun, informative classes, homework handouts, friendly trainers, great retail section. They make it so easy!

Seattle Puppyworks: what do users think?

Emin Arakelov: Best place to take your puppy to help with socializing.

Gia Laynes: Best puppy school ever!

Todd Gage: are some of her favorite people in world. The only reason we're no longer going is that Tina became a bit of a "teenage" brat at home and we're afraid she would stop being polite to some of the smaller/younger puppies. We're thrilled to hear they are considering expanding to more space and services and can't wait to bring Tina back when there's a graduates space.

Josh Costanza: This place is so nice to our puppy. The staff remembers our dog's name coming and going. They tell us how she played, what other pups she gets along with and has always been super friendly.

Himanshu Singhvi: Great place for puppies

Emmy Dorchak: Best place for puppy socialization. I really trust the staff and they are really knowledgeable about behaviors and making sure that's it's a good learning experience for the puppy.

Nicholas Ryan: Amazing! Highly recommend to bring your puppy as soon as you can! Seattle puppyworks helped our little Boy come out of his shell. When we first visited Kronk was very shy and after a few visits we are a social butterfly. Thank you so much!

Brent Brinkley: A great place for you and your puppy to learn. My daughter has worked here for years and loves it. I recently went in and checked it out the puppies where learning to play together so cute

Richa Sinha: We took our puppy for his first puppies interaction. The people there are very helpful and my puppy enjoyed it really well. The first 30 minute session is free for a puppy. I will totally recommend this.

Maddi Frye: This is so great for my 11 week old shy puppy! Peak hours can be a little overwhelming in terms of staff to puppy ratio, but more than once I’ve seen a staff come over and address my shy puppy in the corner even with 10-15 puppies in the room. Quieter midday hours are great for easy going puppy play. She’s growing so much thanks to them!I’ll mention I’d pay to just sit in a room full of puppies, let alone watch my pup grow with extra supervision.

sawyer lincoln: I've been taking my German shepherd there since 12 weeks and the staff at puppyworks has done an amazing job! I cannot recommend this place enough for puppy socialization

University Canine Learning Academy: what do users think?

Jessie Quinn: UCLA Dogs and Linda are just absolutely phenomenal. Her approach is so valuable, science backed, and effective. She’s incredibly kind and has such a mastery of the material and has the right approach to use in any situation. Do you and your furry ones a favor and sign up for class and connect with Linda and UCLA. I’m extremely glad that I did.

Cheryl Kemery: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessLinda was fantastic! She shared her extensive dog training knowledge freely. She provided us with valuable interventions to better work with our two dogs.

Eric Woodward: Lynda is amazing!

Jill Kinison: as well as the pup. Having only been through Pre School so far

claudia kalotay: Linda is amazing!

S Weidenbach: Knowledgeable trainers and lots of cute pups!

Ryan Bamert: Went to puppy play time. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. Learned proper puppy play etiquette. Lots of take home value.

Zach Bahill: trainer. We brought our 7 month old golden retriever here because she seemed to be getting crazier by the day. She threw my wife's back out from pulling on walks, was barking at her, jumping on visitors, etc. We learned so much from Linda in just the 6 classes, I wish I knew about her and UCLA dog training much earlier. With the things we learned in class, the pulling is better, she's a lot less crazy, and she's learning not to jump on people. After just a few times practicing her emergency recall technique, she is coming back immediately every time we use it. We will definitely be continuing here with the puppy middle school classes.

Pawsitive Paul's Dog Training: what do users think?

David Oh: Paul is seriously an amazing trainer. He recently met my dog and my partner’s dog, both of whom are reactive, for the first time and immediately connected with and understood them. He knew how to interact with them in a fun and loving manner. Our dogs learned so much and had a great time; I would absolutely work with Paul again!

Lexi Stiller: I am a new resident of Seattle and I have a husky with separation anxiety. I asked Paul for an in-person visit because I wanted to have advice on how to train my dog from someone who's met him. I'd read a million articles online and felt super defeated since every article contradicted one another when it came to dogs with separation anxiety. Paul was super kind and immediately my dog loved him. Since my dog's a husky he's very stubborn but Paul was patient with him when most others haven't been. He gave us advice on not only how to lessen my dog's anxiety but gave us some tips and tricks to help with some other concerns we had with our dog. He also provided us with extra material to help with training and I couldn't be more appreciative. You can tell that Paul very clearly has a passion for these dogs and genuinely wants to help out. There's been a big difference in my dog's behavior since the visit even though it's only been a few days. I am very thankful for his help and would definitely recommend him if you're looking for a dog trainer!

Jameison Snyder: Nice employee Paul

Jackie G: Paul is incredible! He knows dogs, he speaks dog! His energy and approach was perfect with our new shelter rescue and we've already seen improvement with her. Often, he's training us humans on how to train our pups. He's realistic, sensible, and kind. Thanks Paul! We'll probably call you again for some tune ups!

Michelle Clinton: Had a fantastic dog training session with Paul! It was like having weeks of training in one visit. He came to our home, and covered every single issue we had been having with our puppy. He then sent follow up notes to continue with the training. He said to call if we had any ongoing issues. Highly recommended! So glad we found Pawsitive Paul!

Jacob Pollowitz: that we really really appreciated. We look forward to working with Paul in the future as needed and would highly recommend for all interested dog owners :

Bridget Criscuolo: If I could give 11 out of 10 stars I would! Paul was wonderful with our new pup! She was unsure at first and within minutes warmed right up to him---he was amazing! Paul is like having your own personal doggie translator!! His knowledge and understanding of our four legged friends is incredible!

Cristiana Wallace: We’re so grateful for having Paul driving all the way to Bellevue to share all his knowledge and experience on dog training with us. Mia loves him, she was so happy during the entire training session.

Sean Padden: We reached out to Paul soon after adopting a very active Pitbull mix to improve basic commands. His directions were easy to follow and research based!! Paul maintains a close relationship to all his clients, and is a quick phone call away with any new/worsening issues. We highly recommend contacting Paul with any level of behavioral issues, he always provides helpful advice regardless of the situation.

Laura Garcia: We were impressed with Paul's technique and ability to get our 4 month old puppy to take commands, eat a treat right from his hand within the first 30 minutes of our session. He genuinely loves what he does and it shows. He is positive and encouraging throughout the session and provides plenty of information to take home to continue our training. I highly recommend Paul. You can't go wrong using Pawsitive Paul's Dog Training.

Keyan Shasti: Positive:ProfessionalismGreat man and great trainer!!

Alex Ehrenfeld: We just had our first session with Paul and our special needs fearful pup. Paul was nothing short of spectacular with her and us. His demeanor was cool, calm, and collected while giving us direction and helpful information on how to go about training our little one.I can't recommend him enough. He was kind and super friendly to work with. We can't wait for our next session!

Jenny S: , Paul's approach was to take our situation

Sam Goldberg: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability,ResponsivenessI'm very happy with my time working with Paul. Last August I brought home my rescue, Cooper. He's got separation anxiety and Paul helped me so much with figuring out the best way to approach the problem. He also helped me with some commands that have improved Cooper's manners a ton since I've had him.

Kelsey Jesser: Positive:Professionalism,ReliabilityI had a great call with Paul where we discussed how to decrease my 9 mo sheltie's sensitivity to being brushed, his reactivity to other dogs, and how to improve his recall. I can't wait to start implementing Paul's tips.

Justen Rosenberg: I met with Paul a few days ago to discuss my dogs jumping and play biting. A few days later and the jumping has gone down greatly and seems to soon be a thing of the past. I highly recommend Paul!

John Masaschi: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueGreat classes for our puppy and Paul has even been responsive to our calls for questions 9 months after we took the classes. Thanks Paul!

Sensitive Dog: what do users think?

Lita E: Julie helped us with our pup. We appreciated her clear advice and we would use her again.

Sarah Callender: in our session, and I cannot wait to get to work on what we discussed and practiced. I loved her approach, perspective, and suggestions. Looking at the whole pup--diet, habits, temperament--makes so much sense. Sensitive Dog offers so much more than a "regular" dog training class.

Tasha Hampton: I scheduled a consultation in February and a follow up in April of this year to help refine my goldendoodle's challenges around settling and leash walking. Julie did an amazing job breaking down a dog's psychology to provide more context as to why certain behaviors were happening and how to tackle them at home. Just within those 2 sessions, we are already seeing a great improvement.Thank you so much Julie!

Nat Bentley: leave it, she gently corrected me if I did something improperly or forgot a step. She did so by modeling as well as by providing helpful reminders and encouragement. I never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable practicing on the spot and sometimes making mistakes. Lastly, she accommodated my learning style, and specifically what I shared with her about learning best through reading and writing. She gave me a notebook and pen to take notes with, and she provided me with ample print-outs and step-by-step guides that I am looking forward to reading and digesting. I truly can’t overstate how adaptive she was to both my dog’s and my needs during the entire session. In sum, Julie is one-of-a-kind, and her approach to working with people and their dogs is well-rounded, adaptive, and full of passion and knowledge. She is phenomenal at what she does, and I look forward to sharing progress updates and attending additional sessions with her in the future!

Laura Miller: in only two sessions. Unlike other training experiences we've had, Julie really takes the time to understand dogs and owners holistically and tailor strategies to each unique situation. This training goes beyond what and how to the why underlying behaviors, which is really helpful. We're so happy to have found Sensitive Dog and will continue to train with Julie for our future dogs as well!

Ilsa Govan: Julie helped us understand how we can better communicate with our dog in a way she understands. The training session was practical, fun, and engaging and we’re looking forward to trying out the training techniques we learned.

A.J. Hostak: We just had our initial session with Julie and it was wonderful! She was direct, helpful, and gave us many tips and tricks to continue working with our pup, Ember. We have gone through several other types of trainings and this one has been the most thorough. The one-on-one aspect allowed us to ask specific questions and make subtle progress with Ember while we were there.

Kristen Holway Arterburn: My husband and I scheduled an in person consult with Julie to help us get on the same page with behavior correction for our Blue Heeler puppy. Two days later and we’re already seeing an improvement in both our pup and ourselves. Julie coached us on being calmer, more confident, and consistent. The modeling and exercises she demonstrated-and had us practice-were the lifeline we needed. There is so much conflicting info out there so it was truly transformative to meet with an expert in person. Also, Tilly absolutely loved Julie. It was sweet to see her bond so quickly!

Dave Arterburn: Our experience with the initial consultation with Julie was excellent. She answered all of our questions and gave us a bunch of helpful training tips and resources.

daniellemegan84: I am so grateful to Sensitive Dog. I recently brough home a retriever puppy and quickly found that we needed help with crate training. Julie and Darcie were great! After only ONE session my little man was sleeping calmly in his crate for almost the whole night! Our first session was a few weeks ago and we are still going strong. I am so pleased, and so is my husband, lol. This is our second puppy in 2 years. In Feb of 2022 we brought home a rambunctious Corgi. I don't think I could have survived without Sensitive Dog's amazing Puppyhood video series. There is even a section of the series dedicated to kids which helped our 7-year old daughter understand how to interact with our puppy. I am forever grateful.

Keely Meehan: So far, Julie at Sensitive Dog has exceeded my expectations. She really took time to understand our dog’s personality and behavior, and her relationship with each member of our household. We left feeling empowered and optimistic. Our dog left happy and tired. Excited to work with the techniques and activities we learned to help our dog be her best self. Also, Julie and Darcie were so kind, helpful, and patient through the whole booking process. I am so glad I chose to go with them!

Jane Summerfield: Highly recommend Sensitive Dog! We unexpectedly got an untrained senior greyhound mix. He was restless, reactive, and overwhelming to our other pets. Rather than needing to return him to the Rescue, Julie helped create a positive path forward for us. Focusing on better food/eating habits and teaching us leash control, basic commands and training, our household has been able to recover and provide a safe home for all its members. The work continues but it's been such a relief to know how to proceed. Five big fat stars from us-- plus five more!

Alex Hubbard: We worked with Julie at Sensitive Dog, and our experience was fantastic. Our dogs have gotten along so much better since we've worked with her, and it's made our lives easier in so many ways. Highly recommend! We will go back with any issues we have.

Jon R. Kershner: We have been so pleased with the progress our English Shepherd/Border Collie puppy has made under Julie's coaching. We used another training service prior to finding Sensitive Dog. Whereas the other trainers had one method that they use on all of the dogs they work with, Sensitive Dog reads the dog and then implements the correct tools to facilitate communication. Before Sensitive Dog, our 8 month old puppy was frustrated and unhappy. He couldn't be trusted around our kids or to have any freedom in the house. We were constantly training him, but we weren't getting anywhere.Julie opened the doors of communication and after only four visits, our dog is happier and able to be a polite family member. Our neighbors are amazed at the transformation, and his progress has been a big help for this family.I totally recommend Sensitive Dog!

Ezra Delsohn: I cannot recommend a dog trainer more. Julie was incredible with our tricky pitbull mix, bmo and our lives have drastically improved now that we’ve implemented her training protocols. Go here if you have a dog that needs extra TLC and support.

Erin J Peterschick: I really appreciated the space held for me and my concerns about how I 'paw parent' my rescue dog/foster fail whom I'm trying to give a great foundation for a life as a happy, well-behaved doggo. Julie worked with me and my doggo to teach us both what to do around his reactivity on leash and to people, as well as some other issues. The email follow-up is a TREASURE TROVE of resources many of which we discussed in the session. If you can, invest in this service and you may not need much else in terms of interventions/coaching!

Brady Horenstein: My black lab Luna and I had a great first visit with Julie! The 2 1/2 hr initial session was very comprehensive. I walked a way with a lot of confidence and game plan to address Luna's separation anxiety and other demand behaviors. I look forward to calling on Julie in the future as things progress. I highly recommend her!

george callan: Maud is a three-year-old bordoodle. When I first brought her to Sensitive Dog, she was 8 months old. She was exuberant, high energy and wild-eyed with a mind of her own. Darcie Boltz, who, in my mind, is a bright and spirited dog whisperer—taught with a combined approach of graciousness and no-nonsense that allowed Maud to be herself while eagerly responding to command, gesture and tone of voice. It was over two years ago that Maud and I found ourselves at Sensitive Dog under Darcie’s tutelage. We have never been the same since. With knowledge, skill, humor, wisdom and deep attunement, Darcie worked with us with an open heart and a firm stance. She taught Maud to thrive on clear direction and genuine praise and admiration. Darcie understands the nuances of breed, temperament and personality. She knows and communicates with dogs on multiple levels: body, mind, emotion, spirit.I, too, was being trained on so many levels. In witnessing Darcie in relationship with Maud, I learned how to be a good and consistent leader/mentor and a faithful source of affirmation. I learned how to tune in to Maud’s instincts and capacities….and to tap into the soul of my canine companion.Over these two years I have checked in with Darcie from time to time and consulted about developmental and behavioral changes. She has always been there for us—100%. She knows us both and she has an innate knowledge of the spirit that connects us.At three years, Maud is very well-mannered, gentle and responsive. Darcie has helped her develop these qualities while respecting and delighting in her exuberant energy and enthusiasm for life.

Susan Kennedy: Our experience with Julie’s training our 4 year old Golden Retriever Dublin was extraordinary in every respect. She brings a confident, positive, very experienced approach, style and method in training both us and our wonderful Dublin. The three of us made amazing strides in the time we spent training with Julie. We and Dublin are calmer, wiser and much more at ease interacting with each other, other people and other dogs. And, thanks to Julie’s guidance, optimism and confidence that we and Dublin could do this: Dublin now sleeps happily in his crate thru the night, we are now able to take walks that we all enjoy. Gone is the excessive pulling and lunging and becoming overly excited. Dublin is able to “leave” things that he should never get, he “comes”when we call him, he “waits”when we need him to, and he knows “place” where he goes to when needed. The written materials that Sensitive Dog uses in its training are exceptional and bring to life the philosophy and techniques of their training as well as being a great resource to review as we live out the training. We couldn’t be happier with everything we learned with Julie. We highly recommend Sensitive Dog to anyone seeking a fuller, calmer and more relaxed and confident relationship with their dog.

Roberta Carlson: I very much enjoyed my training session with Julie. I enjoyed her approach to training - one different than I have encountered before. It set me off in the right direction and our walks are already a bit more relaxed - as Lucy has learned not to bound back and forth to the ends of the leash. I highly recommend Sensitive Dog training

Great Dog Obedience School: what do users think?

Chelsea Stevenson: love Great Dog. The staff are so friendly and our dog is so excited when we get there. Recommend daycare and training.

Kirk Gomez: If I could give more stars I would 10 times over! I brought my sister's pit bull that had some aggressive behavior that forced us to decide if we could keep the dog or not. We've tried other trainers with little to no success or change in behavior until we brought him to see Judy. She was extremely knowledgeable. Her calm demeaner and calculated observation was evident right away and we just knew we were in expert hands. Within the first session we saw a complete turnaround in behavior. I believe she saved our dog's life because we were desperate and the risk was too great to keep him. Since then our puppy has been way more manageable, calmer, and confident. We can walk him without having our arm yanked out of the socket. Judy is a miracle worker. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Lois Mustonen: Wonderful staff who love your dog

Robin Booth: Love this place , We held a dog adoption event there !

Matt Shepard: I have taken multiple dogs here and can't recommend them enough. The staff is supportive and knows what they are doing. My dog buddy was very reactive, and they helped us get him to a much better state and prepared us to help him succeed. We also currently have a puppy in classes and she is learning her manners.

Carolyn Billings: Great Dog is a special place. The staff is wonderful. They’re dog lovers with the skills and knowledge to make sure the dogs are safe, happy and tired. We use almost all of their services with confidence. Judy has created a great environment and we’re grateful that we can rely on her expertise.

Camilo Gómez: Puppy classes with Emily are great! Our puppy loves them and it's a good way to give her good exercise while learning about training

Ross Noll: Great caring staff

Natanya Auerbach: We've been bringing our dog to Great Dog for a couple years for regular daycare and boarding, and our dog is happy and well cared for while she's there!

Shannon Kelleher: Such a great place. My dog pulls me in there and is reluctant to leave. The staff is friendly and really care about the health, safety and personalities of their clients.

Wildwood Canine: what do users think?

Madeline Weller: You will love Christine!

Maria Khokhlova: Loved the training Christine provided, very much to the point, super efficient routines, and obviously deep understanding of the root causes of the behavior issues to be addressed. Also a lot of fun and joy to practice the recommendations as my dog feels way more relaxed and happy if I follow them!

Melissa Hofstrand: We had an excellent experience with Christine and her training solutions for our rescue dog. She is informative, empathetic, and our dog took to her immediately. She provided practical advice as well as a thorough training plan, with links to supplies! We could not recommend her enough.

Keith Guerrette: Christine is a wonderful, patient instructor that focused on helping us understand what our dog's needs were, how to communicate and create a simple feedback protocol to help us in positive, engaged training. The impact on our dog, and her place in our family, was immediate.

Adrienne Fox: Christine has helped our reactive dog with enrichment activities that reduce her stress on walks and in trigger stacking situations. We've had some big wins working with Wildwood Canine.

Rebecca Sanders: Cannot recommend enough! I decided to seek Christine's training services for my dog, an 8 year old lab mix, after reading multiple 5 star, glowing reviews for her from other dog owners. One of the things that really appealed to me about her approach was the concept of individualized, one-on-one training sessions as opposed to group classes like those offered by other trainers in the Seattle area. After one session I was able to begin implementing methods for behavior modification that have proven to be sustainable and effective. It has been a great experience to learn from her during the sessions with my dog. I appreciate Christine's warmth, sincere concern for me and my dog, and her professionalism. The follow up information provided after our sessions is invaluable. I am three sessions in so far, and I continue to see positive results in my dog, particularly improvements in his behavior on leash, while on our walks. I think he and I are both enjoying our walks more. Many thanks, Christine!

Yijie Yang: Christine has been a trainer for our puppy Mark Darcy. Throughout her sessions, Mark has been developing better manners and we, as owners , become more resourceful knowing so many ways to work our puppy. I like Christine’s way of training is full of love and playing so it really makes Mark Darcy happy every time he is in training. Highly recommend.

Olivia D: . Christine was quick to respond, flexible with scheduling a phone chat about our situation and was really great with working around COVID protocols so everyone felt safe. I could immediately tell that Christine’s passion and love of dogs was beyond her “profession”.We did several different types of sessions to address not only the two dogs needing to ignore each other but also general puppy stuff and some adult less than ideal behavior stuff too!My roommate and I couldn’t have more different approaches to most things and Christine’s techniques, instruction, demonstrations worked really well for both of us and, of course, the dogs! Each session was followed by an email with a recap of the session, notes and reminders and links to any suggested reading/watching resources and supplies.I cannot wait to have more sessions with Christine!

Liz Mizrahi: Christine has been a lifesaver! Our 1 year old puppy started biting and getting a bit out of control. She was so responsive and supportive and gave us manageable ways to support his growth. After our four sessions together, he was able to listen to commands and we were even able to cut his nails at home! She was so helpful coming to our home and working with us in our environment and was super helpful with notes after each session. I highly recommend her and will continue to reach out for training sessions when we need a refresher!

Audrea Fink: but she also gave us a ton of resources to help us work with Mabel on our own. I especially loved the recaps at the end of each session where she gave additional tips, resources and shared ideas. She also helped out with our 2nd dog here and there if she saw opportunities for us to adjust our approach. We can't recommend Christine enough and we are so grateful for her thoughtfulness and compassion. We have a different dog today than we had originally and we are continuing to see progress. She is absolutely amazing and pup approved!

Kassaundra Escalera: Christine was incredibly helpful in helping me with training my rescue pup who had a lot of fear-based issues when I adopted him. She works to individualize the training sessions for your dog’s specific challenges and give great resources on work two do in between sessions. I learned a ton from our time together and my pup took to her super quickly!

allegra a: Christine has helped us with a number of our more challenging foster dogs. With her guidance, we’ve addressed issues such as resource guarding, fearfulness and reactivity. Christine is very skilled both at reading dogs’ cues and communicating with their human guardians. Thanks to her support, we’ve been able to set these dogs up for success in their new forever homes.

Susan Prosser: Christine has been walking my dogs for a couple of years. Every time she arrives, the dogs greet her enthusiastically, clamoring to go out with her. It is obvious they love her. Aggie flourishes with her as Christine keeps her calm and engaged with scent work and Brodie relishes in her active obstacle sessions. We do not always have the time to take the dogs out on their own, which is good for them. We really appreciate the time she spends with them.

Michelle Urberg: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ValueChristine is a great force-free trainer. Emmy and I worked with her on basic parkour skills. She led me through the steps with clear and simple language to help Emmy execute the action successfully. Will be back for more training soon!

Stacy Bollen: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ReliabilityReally appreciated Christine scheduling a Zoom meeting to talk thru different approaches in bringing a second dog into my home. She was a great sounding board while providing multiple suggestions for introduction, setting boundaries and tactics. Truly appreciated the open dialog and expertise she brought to our conversation!

Fuzzy Buddy's Dog Daycare and Dog Training: what do users think?

Shari Wade: My pooch loves her daycare days. The staff is so genuine, and you can tell they like the dogs.

Hannah Gibbs: My pup loves it here! She goes about once a month and it’s perfect for when we need a dog free day.

Trevor Carlson: They take the best care of my pup

Melinda S Roll: My dog had a great time!!! Jumped out of the car he was excited to see his friends

Taylor Wang: Our dog always has a blast here. Great staff that really care about animals.

Megan Nyberg: Great place. We trust our dog there any time we go out of town!

Kelly Finan: We love Fuzzy Buddy’s and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for dog daycare! The staff is friendly and they take great care of my dog, Bodhi.

Evan Prince: Our dog Reggie looks forward to coming here each week! Staff are dog lovers and very knowledgeable. Thank you Fuzzy Buddy’s for all you do!

Miranda N. Benson: My favorite place for my dogs! The owner Dana is incredible as both a trainer and a business owner. She knows all the dogs well and runs a great team of dog enthusiasts. I love Fuzzy Buddy’s!

Cat Pace: Fuzzy Buddy's is BY FAR the best daycare for dogs in the Seattle metro area, possibly even beyond that. They are so incredibly patient with dogs and have an advanced understanding of behavior, as well as how to work with all different kinds of dog personalities. The employees here have such a genuine love and passion for dogs, which I believe is what makes it such an amazing place for pups to spend their days. They will go to the ends of the earth and use every resource available to ensure that all dogs feel safe, welcomed, and have an absolute blast at daycare. Not to mention the generosity and understanding that they offer to all human beings. They are one of the rare daycares that cares solely about taking care of their community, rather than throwing honesty and quality care out the window in order to rack up money. I truly cannot put into words how much I adore this daycare and the beautiful people who run it.

Julie M Berry: Fuzzy Buddy’s has looked after both of our corgis and they love their trips to daycare! When I drop off my pups they are impatient to get inside. On pickup they are happy and healthy. The staff are amazing with the pups, friendly, communicative, and responsive to needs and requests. We moved out of the neighborhood over a year ago but continue to bring our pups due to the service and quality provided. Thank you all for looking after Luna & Rye!

Chelsie Noel: We’ve been bringing our dog here for years, caring staff and efficient operation.

Ashish Sridhar: Best daycare in the Aurora/Green Lake area! Super flexible on bookings and very responsive to my dog's needs

Catie Beck: My dog loves going to "school" at Fuzzy Buddies, we are only there 1 time a week, which is perfect for her to continue to socialize and also get nice and worn out. They are friendly and always greet my 13 pounder with a friendly "hiiiiii Poppy!" and she goes in wagging her tail, which makes me feel great about her day there! I love when they report on who she played with, and they are also great about changing schedules, I've been successful with locking in 1 day a week and keeping it that way unless I need to add a day.

Dog Trots: what do users think?

Tina Sciabica: . His time in her off-leash playgroups has also made it so pleasant to take him hiking, as he has great recall as a result of her reinforcing that habit while she's got him in her group. I highly recommend Dog Trots and Gloria's training services!

Debra Iveans: Our dog has been with Gloria since she was 7 months old and absolutely loves her "adventure days". All we have to do is say "Gloria" to her, and she perks up. Gloria does a great job of making sure the dogs she accepts into her pack will be a good fit with each other, sends pics or video of them having fun during their outing, and our pup always comes back happy and wagging her tail and tuckered out. As a bonus: as a trainer, Gloria also gives me advice sometimes of things to work on with our pup and how to go about doing it. We've also used Gloria for some private training sessions which were super helpful. Definitely highly recommend Glorias Dog Trots!

Andrew Gaines: We have absolutely loved working with Gloria over the years: dog training, boarding, off-leash adventures… it has all been great! Our dog loves her so much, and her guidance has been key to helping us understand his needs. Not only that, Gloria’s love for all of her pack really shows! The dogs obviously adore her, and she adores them!

Lidia Sanchez: .Our pup is now a part of the weekly dog pack and it’s the highlight of her week, so much so that she automatically goes into her kennel in anticipation for the Gloria pick up! :

Riki Bouffard: and comes home tired, happy, and well-socialized. It's clear Gloria loves dogs, and with the combination of training and adventures, Callie is blossoming into a confident and happy pup.Recently, Gloria stayed with Callie in our home for a week while we were away, and we were so impressed with the photo updates and amount of care Gloria showed both Callie and our house - she even stayed late to accommodate our delayed flight. We feel really lucky that we found Gloria, and we would gladly recommend Gloria's services to anyone with a dog.

Elaine Abiera: Highly recommend! I started working with Gloria on puppy training immediately after my 11 week old pup Moose came home and she has been a life saver. We scheduled subsequent sessions to integrate new commands and make sure Moose's training was on track. Moose is now part of Gloria's Off leash weekly adventures group and has continued to flourish. Thank you Gloria!

Kelly Boisvert: Gloria and her off leash adventures are such a blessing! My high energy pup always comes home happy and totally tuckered out. She gets picked up and dropped off, which makes it super easy. I love knowing that she is in good hands and having an absolute blast. Do yourself and your furry friend a favor and sign up for Dog Trots!

Mary DeNure: I am very pleased with Gloria's services. She is a very patient and caring person . My dog Mater loves his time at the dog park with Gloria. I highly recommend Gloria for training and her "adventures" at the dog park.

Silvija Staprans: Gloria is an amazing, effective, and loving dog trainer and walker! We’ve known her since our Weimaraner was a puppy. Gloria helped us tremendously with establishing healthy and fun habits with our headstrong canine. Lacey has now been with Gloria’s dog park “pack” for 3+ years. She LOVES Gloria and is always SO EXCITED to her. Lacey gets to run to her heart’s content on the off-leash outings. She gets super pampered on her boarding stays. Gloria also takes superb photos. She is THE BEST!

Shelby Perrault: We reached out to Gloria for private training lessons with our 18-month old English lab. After only 2 training sessions, we have seen a noticeable improvement with the behaviors we sought out help for. She is quickly able to identify the root cause of these behaviors and we are very thankful for her help! Our lab has just joined her outdoor adventures and we couldn’t be happier! We love the photos and videos during his time away and she gives a great debrief on his behavior during his time away. Thank you Gloria!

Wayne Barnett: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueGloria is a great trainer! More than anything, she really trained my wife and me to be the confident parents our new puppy needed us to be. After a couple sessions with Gloria, we are well on our way to having a social, happy, well-trained dog. The session at the dog park was the best! We couldn't recommend Gloria more highly!!

Denny Yap: Gloria is the best! We have used her dog walking and pet sitting services for a couple of years. She's been wonderful especially when we have had an emergency/short notice. Our dog was very anxious and scared of large dogs and now, with Gloria's gentle guidance, she can hang with the big dogs. You can tell our dog loves Gloria from the squeals of joy she makes when Gloria comes by.

Megan Keefe: We would gladly recommend Gloria's services to any of our friends and family!

Casey Rasmussen: I’ve known Gloria a few years, even long before I had a puppy. When sweet Cash came into our lives, I was told he was loud, small and lacked confidence. As he grew up, that lack of confidence even with early training started to become more problematic behavior- lunging toward people, getting really nervous with new people and forget it at my house, cujo! He’s the sweetest snuggly bud but other people freak him out. I knew I needed to do something before things worsened. I decided to do excursions with Gloria knowing she had such a great reputation and was apprehensive about the cost and commitment as 1/2 day day Care was a slight bit cheaper. What I wasn’t getting at camp was consistency, feedback or even tips on what was happening behind closed doors. Cash has become sooooo much less reactive and so comfortable with people I can’t speak highly about Gloria’s excursions, care and the PICTURES- holy cow she’s amazing at documenting what the little babes are up to. We have since done some one on one training, which helped me tremendously and Cash has even done boarding with her, apparently he’s human-like for overnights. 😊 I wouldn’t choose another person to care for my dog now. He loves his pack, his girlfriend, all the extra exercise and the consistency. I think her rates could actually be higher for the personalized care she provides and if I could send him 7 days a week I would! Can’t recommend her enough. And she’s super sweet and a really rad individual!

Jamie McMurdie: We love Gloria but more importantly, our pup LOVES Gloria!! We owe a lot to Gloria for helping us “rescue” our adopted dog. Our pup came with a lot of anxiety and distrust, we couldn’t even go for a walk without her cowering and trying to hide from other dogs. We met with Gloria for some personal training sessions and eventually was able to send our dog with Gloria on her day adventures to the dog park. She now goes daily and loves it!! Our dog is night and day different and we owe this all to Gloria. She is happy and much more confident. We also know that when we go on vacation and our dog gets to stay with Gloria, it’s a vacation for her too!! We never have to worry about her and Gloria is so great about sending pictures, videos and updates. We feel lucky to have found Dog Trots!!

Lindsey Johnson: Gloria’s love and care of our boy Obi has been invaluable to our family. She has provided excellent daily walks and overnight stays that have displayed her expertise, kindness, and joy for our sweet boy. We consider her a huge part in making our family happy and healthy. We look forward to Gloria’s updates and exceptional pictures, which she provides daily. Obi was recently injured and Gloria has gone above and beyond in providing him care and our family support, even going so far as to carry him in a sling to keep him connected to his friends. We can’t say enough how grateful our whole family is to have Gloria on our team!

karla R: Gloria was very direct and helpful with teaching us how to get our 10-month-old strong pulling puppy not to pull on walks. Also, she gave us specific and simple tricks on how to modify our dog’s unwanted behavior. Gloria is helpful, very knowledgeable, and great to work with.

Lauri Sickler Tock: Gloria came and picked up my dog a couple of days a week and brought her and the rest of the 'pack' to a dog park for romping and playing. It's easy to tell she really loves dogs and knows how to show them a good time! Reliable, friendly, and professional.

Tim Hunt: Gloria is top notch as both an expert dog resource and local small business worth supporting. She is patient with dogs and owners alike. Your dog comes home well exercised and well cared for... our family couldn’t recommend her more!!
