Queen Anne Healthcare: what do users think?

Sandra Walker: I’m getting the rehabilitation that I require while staying here and getting my medications and required nurse care too . They are all great here . Can’t wait to be able to go back home after rehabilitation .

Valerie Brayman: and back home very quickly! Social services and therapy did a great job coordinating her discharge home and making sure that all pharmacy, equipment, and home health needs would be met from the second she went home. I am very grateful to the whole staff for taking such good care of her and helping her recover so quickly. Nobody ever wants to have to stay in a nursing facility, but if you do, this is a great choice.

Jacquie Nyumoo: OMG I can write and publish a book about this beautiful facility because I have a whole lot to say about it. I’m a new grad nurse and this is actually my first job as a nurse since graduating from nursing school. The last thing you want as a new nurse is unsupportive, impatient and judgemental coworkers especially preceptors. I did my orientation with 5 different nurses and they’re all amazing owing to a great workplace culture here. Everyone is so cool and my boss the DNS Kristi is very nice and supportive. I feel confident to work and grow in my career because I get immense support that I need as a new nurse. I was recently telling one of our nurses who trained me that this is the first facility I’ve worked and felt so much at home. I enjoy the privilege of amazing teamwork among other great things. I always feel very proud to say I work for Avamere Queen Anne. I’m so blessed to be working with amazing team.

Hector James caberto: I’ve been working at Queen Anne for almost 10 years and I am so thankful to have a very respectful, kind and hardworking coworkers.

Beau: Queen Anne is best care facility around they brought me from a terrible car accident of not being able to care for myself or you can get up to being able to care for myself and walk again I spent the better part of a year in and out of there and every time the staff treated me as one of their own the caretakers care for me and made me feel at home the staff listen to what I had to say and made me feel important the facility is a great facility is in great shape and very comfortable the food there is wonderful and the food department is a well-staffed well ran Department the cleaning staff always had clean clothes for us clean linen and no questions asked the rooms were always follows the nursing Staff Care for us like we are one of their own and we're truly and genuinely concerned when we have problems for this I would recommend anybody that needs to have it done go there and be taken care of by them and upmost their therapist the physical therapist staff is the best I've ever seen I thank them with all my heart for the care and work they did to me

Keegan Tyler: I feel so lucky to work at QAHC! Everyone is so kind, hard working, and loyal to those we serve. Glad to be a member of the team and proud to call this the place I work!

Hannah Keyes: Queen Anne is filled with people who care!! I’m grateful to be a part of the team!

kristina lott: Amazing place to work where the focus of staff is teamwork to provide the safest and best care for patients. Co-workers feel like a family. The company is always doing something to show appreciation for employees. Queen Anne is always encouraging and supporting staff to continue education and rooting you on along the way.

Mikaela Scovel: Love working here at Queen Anne! Thank you Queen Anne for allowing me to be part of your amazing team!

Aurelia Blight: I am proud to be part of the Queen Anne family. My sister's first job was at Queen Anne and had retired from Queen Anne. I followed suit, started at QA and will retire here. I enjoy my work, started as a receptionist and step up to the business office. Along the way, I have accumulated friends and lots memories. I have a very small family, my sister, my daughter and myself that is why Queen Anne is my family. I know they will always stand by me.

Faith Stowell: very good place to work. Very supportive if you want to continue your education. Flexible in making schedule to allow you to go to school.

Milly 14: I love the people working here. Very friendly and supportive. Great management

Kensie Tyler: I’ve worked at Queen Anne Healthcare for over two years now and I love my job! QAHC is full of experienced and dedicated staff. Proud to be an employee here!

Markeita Douglas: Queen Anne Healthcare is a great place to work! Their patient ratio to staff is GREAT! If you are looking to further your education...THEY ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE AND ENCOURAGING for you to do so. I have never worked at a place where your patients and staff become a big family! THIS AVAMERE LOCATION IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE AND NOT FORCED TO BE!!!

Queen Anne Manor Assisted and Memory Care Community: what do users think?

Senior Mister Grady Wawa Ngimilas Lulengo: A beauty full place to visit ; a beauty full place to work at ; a beauty full place to be live in

Cole Boysen: Queen Anne Manor is an absolutely gorgeous community that is ran by people who genuinely care about taking care of senior in this chapter of their lives. Shawn is a wealth of knowledge and is great to work with. You and your family are in good hands when you are a resident at the Queen Anne Manor. I work in the senior living industry this community is one of the great ones.

Marlene Williams: to have lunch. I wanted to let you know how much we love working with Marlene. She is always able to answer our questions and has a friendly+confident attitude that continues to put my uncle at ease. At our lunch, Mamadu took such great care of us. He is truly an excellent representative of Queen Anne Manor. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and was attentive but not "hovering". He made our experience enjoyable and, again, put my uncle at ease in regards to how life at Queen Anne Manor might be. You have a spectacular team!! Thank you, thank YOU!

Ashley Kowalski: Since working here at Queen Anne Manor I have absolutely loved it. The management and staff have been so welcoming and kind when introducing me to my new work place. Everyone is genuinely happy to be here, to serve, connect and spend time. This is the place to be or work. It’s amazing here!

Kim Falcon: Queen Anne Manor has exceeded our family's expectations for assisted living. The facility is beautiful, the programs for seniors are enriching and meaningful and the care is second to none! Queen Anne Manor is an extended family. Everyone working there is amazing – a truly dedicated support staff. Our family couldn't be happier to have a loved one cared for at Queen Anne Manor.

Barbara Alford-cassel: Placing mom in memory care was hard. Katelyn, the marketing director, is so organized and helped us with every step. All of our questions were patiently answered. The care team has helped mom adjust and has made valuable suggestions. We are very happy with the care mom is receiving. Kristine, the executive director, has taken great care to help us understand options and made valuable suggestions.

Kathryn: I was able to move my young developmentally disabled sister into Queen Anne Manor in March, moments before the “shelter in place” was ordered. I feel extremely fortunate and thankful that she is there. There have been NO cases of the virus at this facility. My sister is very social and independent . The amazing staff have helped her adjust to being quarantined. She is being well cared for and kept safe. I am grateful for the kind staff and their patience. I look forward to being able to visit Queen Anne Manor again and to have the virus behind us.

Fidelity HomeCare: As a home care provider and having partnered with a lot of Assisted Living facilities in the Puget Sound area, I have to say Carissa is a very hands-on management executive. She definitely has her finger on the pulse and expects her residents to be taken care of. I'm really impressed by the fact that she is willing to roll up her sleeves and wear many hats to get things done. Managing an Assisted Living facility is a tough job since it's a 24-hour role but the positive attitude that Carissa carries herself every day and the fact that she is very accessible if you have any questions/concerns is truly commendable. If I were a resident's family evaluating which facility to move my loved ones to, I definitely would like to know how the facility is being run. Having worked with Carissa, I do know that she expects her staff to perform their job well because she cares about the well-being of her residents. As a home care partner, we are honored to work with Carissa and her team at Queen Anne Manor.

Rachel Smith: If you want peace of mind that your loved will be well cared for in a retirement community Queen Anne Manor is a great option. We moved our Dad to the Manor after having a negative experience at another local facility. Their caring staff became like family to us and we could trust them to treat Dad with dignity and respect.

Holly Zinter: My Mom and Dad lived at Queen Anne Manor in their memory care community Anna's Garden. The community is very nice but has a comfortable homey feel to it that fit my parents. The nursing staff was very caring to both my parents and to my husband and I. The management there was always responsive to us and they took the time to pay attention to our requests when we had concerns. I would recommend QAM to other people considering an assisted living community as we had a great experience there.

Parkshore Senior Living Community: what do users think?

david hervey: When you choose a retirement home, you check to see if they have skilled nursing, but you don’t really see until you need it. This winter and spring my partner had two serious falls, causing fractures with hospitalizations and weeks of skilled nursing. The care at Parkshore was wonderful. The quality of staff, the kindness and care couldn’t have been better and he was restored to good health. During the weeks he was there, I observed and became acquainted with many of the residents there. Some were receiving end of life care and others rehabilitation. Everyone was treated with such kindness and dignity. We will always be grateful for our experience.

Mary Joan Hervey: We moved to Parkshore in October. We have found every service they offer to be first class. It was like moving to a resort, in spite of the restrictions caused by Covid. They have kept us safe, with not a single case, and they arranged for us to be the first to be vaccinated. When I had to miss my second shot, they quickly got me scheduled for it. The staff are warm and friendly, anticipating every need. The facilities have recently been updated to a luxury level. Coming here was one of our best decisions ever.

James “Glass man” Nikzad: Their staff was friendly and professional. Being, located adjacent to Madison park on the water you can’t complain about the views either.

Yvonne Bradley: Is the cost for these apartments

Hailey Ratner: If a senior living space is where you or a family member needs to be I would recommend this one. The food is absolutely fantastic! And there's a huge variety in the area just a couple blocks away if eating in doesn't suit you.The view from the top is gorgeous and only getting better with the renovations! Plus there will be an added pool for extra exercise or fun.In a balanced neighborhood with one bus line straight down town a block away from a children's park and a beach. Plus a 4-5 minutes drive to at least two wildlife reserves and parks that and quite nice to walk around.

doug anderson: Parkshore Health Center provided me with excellent living facilities, physical therapy and care following my recent total knee replacement! Thank you Parkshore!

Kathy Wickward: Mom was on the rehab floor, and her progress was astounding! Excellent PT and speech therapy, she received excellent attention and had no complaints about her stay - a marvel for her. Mom is a 7 year veteran of multiple hospital and rehab stays, this by far was the best.

Barbara Trentalange: My parents waited 4 years to become residents at Parkshore. It was definitely worth the wait. Michelle and Janis made the transition smooth and easy. They were attentive to my family's many questions and patient with our requests. Nothing was overlooked. It is never easy to move, let alone, downsize and move to a different state. Moving to Parkshore was about as seamless a transition as my parents could have made. They have only been living at Parkshore for a little over a month, but it seems as if they have been there for years. The community is welcoming and inclusive. There isn't an evening that they aren't invited to join in some activity by other residents.Upon returning from using the workout facility, my dad was excited to report that he met a woman who is 114 years old! He said it was most definitely the right choice to move to Parkshore as they really must take care of their residents. They have on multiple occasions mentioned how it was definitely the right move for them. They are so happy to be a part of this wonderful community.

Jacquelyn Rardin: I'm delighted to write a review for Parkshore, one of our senior living design clients at Studio 65. For over three years and counting, we have supported Parkshore primarily in the renovation of their independent living apartments, including new palette development, collaborative process creation, and interior design of the units, from concept to construction to move-in. While the staff has changed over the years, one element that has remained remarkably consistent, is Parkshore's steadfast commitment to the community and its residents while undertaking the incredible change and chaos that comes with a full building renovation. As an interior designer, I understand first-hand the challenges a community undertakes in navigating and managing a complex vision for transformation that serves to meet both current resident and community needs, as well as anticipated needs over the decades to come. It's not easy to bridge or forecast all needs; however, in my experience with Parkshore, I have seen how they work conscientiously to include all stakeholders, including residents, leadership, staff, board, and the community at large to best assess what is desired and needed, and inform, advise, guide and shape the ongoing vision of Parkshore...together. That's the true meaning of community. And I find this remarkable and worth commending. As a team member by extension, working with the development, sales, and facility teams, I deeply appreciate their transparency, integrity, respect, and ongoing collaborative spirit. It's rewarding to work with such a cohesive staff, unified in vision and character. I consider myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Parkshore, and to have been invited into their process and vision-making. And it's especially wonderful to be met with hugs and kudos by new residents at the completion of their apartment remodel. I run into those residents every now and then when I'm on site...always warmly welcomed with an opportunity to catch up on their new life at Parkshore, ever grateful. It's experiences like this that confirm we're contributing to something special. Thank you, Parkshore!-Jacquelyn Rardin, Studio 65

Bill Wertz: This is an August 30, 2018 update to my post. I am now Past President of the Parkshore Resident Association. Progress on ALL fronts here continue at full speed. The 37-million dollar repositioning project has mostly moved to the exterior of the building. The excavation work required for the new pool has been challenging but the hard, loud, portion of it should soon be completed. A new Executive Director, Annika DiNovi, has taken the leadership role and has been widely accepted by staff and residents alike. She’s, in a word, outstanding! Her predecessor is now the Executive Director at another Transforming Age facility on Vashon island. By all accounts he is doing well in his new environment. I personally wish him the best.Bill WertzI am the current Parkshore 2017-2018 Resident Association President. My wife and I moved into Parkshore almost 3 years ago. I am writing this review to present some of the things that are special about Parkshore. Let me start by sharing that Parkshore is not quite 1/2 way through a 37-million dollar repositioning project. Parkshore had over 20 vacant apartments not long ago. Today the "wait list" is well north of 300. The physical location of this CCRC is outstanding and is directly on the shore of Lake Washington in the highly desired Seattle neighborhood of Madison Park. For many years that was all it took to attract retirees to choose Parkshore as their home. Location-location-location only goes so far and Parkshore relied on this for far too many years. The massive repositioning project will restore the building to be one of, if not THE, premiere locations with all the amenities necessary to be competitive...anywhere! Living through dozens of workers inside and outside the building for up to 2 years, day in and day out, is difficult for both residents and staff and, in my opinion, contributes to the angst being shared in Google reviews. The Executive Director, Mike Schwartz, isn't perfect and has made mistakes. Can any of us say we're perfect and have never made mistakes? I certainly can't! I've had the opportunity, first as Vice President when Mike was brand new in his position, and again this past year as President, to work with him directly. Our interactions have, at times, been challenging. That said, and again working with him directly over almost 2 years, I've personally witnessed a positive change in his approach to his job and how he interacts with residents and staff. Yes...there have been several key Director changes under his leadership. No, again in my opinion, they're not all on him. For example the Marketing Director, Don Warfield, left to fill a similar role at Transforming Age co-owned Skyline. Why? He will be the key person driving new residents to the new Skyline Tower that is proposed to be built next to the current Skyline campus. One Business Director left to join the prior Parkshore Executive Director at another CCRC in the Seattle area. Here's my bottom line on Parkshore. It's location is second to none and, once completed, the 37-million dollar repositioning project will be outstanding. The overall staff, despite many changes, continues to be great. Many staff members are considered by residents to be a trusted friend. Why did I only assign 4 stars to this review? Lots of work remains to get that 5th star. The many changes at Parkshore will, over the long haul, be net positive. It will, at the end, get that 5th star!

Mirabella Seattle: what do users think?

Nick Randazzo: Friendly staff, clean hallways.

Mike Waring: , and other services. We often walk to venues and events downtown but sometimes use the nearby stops for public transport to get to Seattle Center, downtown, Capital Hill or the University District. Mirabella also provides regular town car or bus service to varied shopping, museum, walks, art & cultural events/venues. Fortunately we have not yet had to avail ourselves of the health care services available here, but have heard from other current or former residents that they or their loved ones have had excellent health and/or memory care. The biggest problem we have is making choices from the very many resident planned and presented outings, educational programs and musical performances presented. It's impossible to do everything available. We're very happy to have chosen Mirabella!

Pineapple: Perfect, No mean sous chef!

johnson lawson: Best care N Seattle

Coach Dean: This can be a wonderful place for many of the residents. Tons of activities, and a sense of community. I would however avoid letting valets touch your vehicle if possible.

pete jelinek: We have had several clients go to Mirabella for rehab. The staff did a great job. I would highly recommend them. I own an in home care company called Senior Helpers and have not seen this level of attention at other places. nice work!

Jackie Johnson: I love this place, very professional staff

Amrita Ghosh: I just applied for a Mirabella Seattle Reception opportunity on the PRS retirement site that I found on Craigslist and I am looking forward to the potential of getting it.

Karen Fensel: My experience at Mirabella has been wonderful. I have been in this facility now for four months recovering from a bad fracture of my leg. Both in the skilled nursing and on to the assistant care. Everyone from administration to all of the nurses and staff are exceptional. Their professionalism and care is the best. The facility is beautiful and the food is very good, healthy and good choices. They are also very safe with this pandemic we are in, a main reason I chose this facility. I would recommend Mirabella to anyone who is looking for a place for recovery and or a beautiful place for retirement.

E H: was my “go to” for everything I needed for my mom especially due to covid and the inability to visit my mom and help her directly. Clearly this was a particularly challenging time given family members could not be of any assistance to our loved ones. Brooke just took the reigns and was there to help with anything I needed for my mom. She was super Responsive and really went above and beyond. She clearly loves her job and it shows!Hats off to Brooke and the rest of your staff! They made a very difficult set of circumstances much more bearable!

Foss Home & Village: what do users think?

Grace Weirich: Great place to work, and more than that, great place to bring your family who needs care.

Pamela Marie: My family is currently in this facility. I will say there are some good people here.... but there's also some over worked nurses here as well and they may not be as patient with the elder/sick. Remember, they are here because they need help.... so be kind while your also here to receive a paycheck. Thank you so much to nurse Ally who went above and beyond to provide comfort to my friend/family who is in need of care.

Allen Mannies: I left for another home, but I was wrong. I miss Foss and look toward returning. The meals were much better than I got elsewhere. Overall it was a far better experience.

Carol Furry: . Paula emailed us regularly to let us know of facetime availability and patio visits. Kim provided daily music with headphones for my music-loving Mom. The staff were great. And when my Mom died a few weeks ago, the staff couldn't haved been kinder to us, relaying special moments and stories from their time with her. I still get emails from staff letting me know how much they miss her.

Laura Rogers: My mom has been at Foss for almost two years and they have been wonderful to her. She had a bit of a hard time adjusting at first but now she is at peace and so are we knowing she is so well taken care of. The nurses and aides and activity directors are all wonderful as are the social workers. Thank you Foss Home and Village for taking such good care of our mom. Oh also, the communication is fantastic! They've been completely on top of things throughout this Covid pandemic.

Ann Pulkkinen: When my friend needed post-acute rehab after an auto accident, I checked out every possible care facility in North Seattle. An RN with extensive experience with facilities recommended Foss, saying "The therapy is excellent, the food is not!" Very true! My friend has made spectacular progress due to excellent, caring therapists and nursing staff. And special kudos to the staff who cared for her personal needs with such kindness. I highly recommend Foss Sub-Acute Rehab.

Ben Levine: , and they have been very accommodating to special requests that we've made of them.

Heidi Rourke: Very good service nurses and caring

Park West Nursing & Rehab: what do users think?

Haley Zeylmaker: Great place to work at. Team really cares about their residents. Ask the front desk for the admisisons coordinator if you'd like a tour of the facility.

D C: While the task of picking a rehab place for my grandfather was difficult. Amanda Moss and her whole team made it an easy decision. They provided for his needs unconditionally. He felt very much at home. Kudos to all of you folks in Park West. I will definitely recommend to families and friends.

Arthurine Jackson: Very nice and professional

Larry Kartes: Experience was goodStaff was courteous and accomadating

Austin Oloyede: The staff are very professional, the facility is neat and conducive for the residents.

John Bowen: Very Friendly and Courteous Staff! Very Helpful!!

Eyayu Ambaw: Great place and diverse and friendly staff

Ingrid Bain: It's quiet and seems more friendly and corporative.

Russell Larder: I am a RN and was doing an assessment on a resident at your facility. The rooms appear a little tight but the facility was clean. Staff was very helpful and shout out to African American young lady at front seat. Thanks

Marva Harris: My first time visiting your facility. Everyone was attentive when my brother needed something. It was clean except the chair in my brother's room. It was soiled so I used a paper towel to sit on. Staff was informative when I had questions.

Martin Balome: 24-hour great service for nursing and rehabilitation.. Great amenities.. Ample security - Surveillance cameras.. Good service.

Julie Edwards: Why did 5 stars show, dont know, I didnt do that. I currently have a family member there dying from cancer. My family member has not had a shower in four days. His clothing and personal belongings have been stolen. No one will answer the phone. I finally got someone on the phone, barely spoke English tried to Express our concerns only to get hung up on. There will be an investigation. This is clearly elderly abuse. Please review this facility.

Brian McGonigal: They are great but getting in touch with you wife who is staying there has it's challenges.

Lorna Pardington: I've been here for 3 weeks I am so glad I chose Ballard, because I heard about their PT and OT dept to help me to walk again. All the employees have been so supportive and caring. Bayview Retirement Community: what do users think?

paula celine: Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. A friend of my family lives here and he is super happy. The place is clean, they have a wide range of amenities and facilities, and the views are stunning. I also tried their lunch and it was of good quality. They also have regular events and social activities.

Chari Bowman: Not very attentive but the best so far!

Marilyn Becker: My mom and dad are here they love it! Great support and programs.

Charles Carley-Ledgerwood: Very nice community focus on keeping residents covid free

jacqueline mons: Wonderful place to work.

Ben Slivka: Awesome home for older people.

Juno Choi: . Impressed how they managed to have so many risks under control and delivered much needed service through the challenging times.

Nathan Pa: Beautiful

Joel Smith: Caring staff with an excellent culture for infection control. COVID-19 is non existent at this place!

Jamila Merritt: My great grandmother, grandmother and great aunt all spent many years here. Lovely place. The residents and very nice as well as the staff.

Rita Manley: I work in another nursing community in Seattle and we have had some of our residents go to Bayview for skilled nursing/rehab. Their team is so thorough and work very hard to ensure they maintain continuity of care. Our residents come back to us better than they left with nothing but positive things to say about their stay at Bayview. Thank you to the team there!

Jeri Jones: Helpful

Paul Meyer: Bay

Deborah Tafil: are to die for. I love that there is a preschool on site too; lucky kids to have so many grandparents and lucky residents to have little kids to interact with. Great meals, just a very nice place.

D K: After exploring numerous retirement communities, Truewood stood out as the most welcoming and affordable option in Seattle. Jennifer's exceptional dedication shines through her ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with residents, support staff members, and offer valuable insights during tours. I wholeheartedly endorse Truewood by Merrill, First Hill to anyone seeking a supportive community for themselves or a loved one.

Latrisha Tyler-Rice: I beautiful facility and great food

Phillis Price: When I moved to Seattle I had never lived in a city before. While walking I came across Truewood and toured the property. I rented that day and was very happy I did. I felt so safe and protected. The dining room provided great meals so I didn't need to cook. I am independent but the building gave me a great sense of security and safety. I was among people that cared how I was doing. The staff is friendly and respectful. There's a wonderful sense of acceptance. I made many friends there. I did meet my new husband and since he was too young to live there, I had to move to a 55+ building.I would highly recommend Truewood by Merrill. They have a wonderful quality building with a staff that cares. They offer different levels of care that makes it a good fit for different levels of need.I had an incredible view of the downtown. The rooms are large and beautiful and high quality. Granite counters and designer colors and large windows made me feel very comfortable.Thank you to all the staff for making my time there wonderful.Phillis Price

Gray Wilson: My husband and I moved to Truewood about 8 months ago. He is in memory care and I have a separate apartment. This allows me to visit him often, and it has turned out to be a very good solution for us. I've met many fun and interesting people and am enjoying getting to know Seattle.

Derek Walker: Nice spot located right in the center of the City!

susan austin: Merrill Gardens, First Hill is a comfortable, inviting place to live. The patios, dining room, and other meeting rooms are enjoyable places to visit with friends and participate in activities.. The staff is helpful and bring a sense of joy to their work and this environment. I have lived here two years and I am glad to call this place home.

S A: ***** 5 star rating for Merrill Gardens at First Hill in Seattle. My mother-in-law moved into this senior living community in June 2017 at age 92. The staff takes excellent care of her, and I enjoy having delicious and healthy meals in the dining room. My family reserves the private dining room for special occasions when we have a large group. There are always beautiful flowers to welcome people at the entrance and the front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are several activities offered daily and it's easy to have their shuttle transport the residents to appointments.

Wayne Balsiger: So far so good with my Dad. Friendly staff. Food available in dining room 7 am to 7 pm. Room costs lower than other places I looked.A number of activities each day.
