Unlike some other high end chocolates that can be dense, these melt in your mouth with a lightness that feels like a delightfully rich chocolate cloud. We found Hot Chocolat by googling "handmade chocolate West Seattle," hoping to support a local business and also find something we would be proud to give as gifts. Hot Chocolat exceeded our expectations. The entire customer interaction was friendly and welcoming and the chocolates were some of the best we've ever tasted. Can't wait to go back for more!

They also serve coffee if you want to have coffee and dessert or just enjoy an affogato! The inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make it a delightful experience. Tried pistachio, nutty squirrel in-house flavor, mixed berries, salted caramel and candy cone flavors. Pistachio and in-house were the hits on our table. And they have macaroons too which also tasted decent.Liked their coffee too, just the right balance of strength. There’s minimal indoor seating and some additional seating outdoors.Generous portions and creative offerings add to the overall appeal. Tania Rhoten: I came here for the first time earlier today and i’ve decided it’s my favourite coffee shop in all of Seattle! The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere, everything about this place was amazing and i want to go back again! I ordered the fruit danish and the matcha green tea latte and it was the best matcha latte i’ve ever had! Every coffee shop i go to, i always order a matcha latte and they’re mostly decent but this one was rich and full of flavor! The danish was also so delicious. I highly recommend this place, especially the matcha latte!

haha h: Stopped in here the other day as i was in need of a nosh to stave off my hangriness, and wow did i choose the right place!It's a light and welcoming space that has many of their baked goods on display once you walk in - i admit at first i was just a tad confused by where i'd need to go to order and where i'd pay, but i figured that out easily.I opted for two savoury croissants - the turkey/Swiss & the Havarti, and i am SO happy i chose those - they were perfectly baked, and the Havarti one had the excess cheese that melted out of being inside the croissant that then turned all brown and crispy, which i ADORE. I'll definitely be back for them, and am looking forward to trying some other baked goods and sandwiches!For a beverage i ordered a cold brew with a milk alternative, and it hit the spot/gave me the boost i needed.The staff member i dealt with was very friendly and helpful - sorry that i didn't catch his/their name.Oh and the restroom was clean and well stocked.Overall a wonderful experience, and as i mentioned above - i'll be back again!

The two flavors I tried were honey lavender and yeti. Both were really good but if I came back I'd probably just get yeti. Their single scoops are hugeeeeee. So worth it and super good. I would come back to Seattle just so I can eat this ice cream everyday I'm there.
