Therapeutic Health Services - Summit/Seneca Branch: what do users think?

Stephen “Steve” Benenati: I have been a patient at THS Seneca methadone treatment clinic since 1998 and still get treated today. I get best care ever for my drug dependence.

Diego Villalpando: I'm on Suboxone but it hasn't been working for myself any more and been thinking on getting on methadone. Is this a methadone clinic ? If any one can help me out thanks

Edwin Roberts: This is a great place to get cleaned up and stay sober

Justine Flynn: It has been great for the most part besides one of the lady's taking the temps before you go in being very unprofessional. I'm not sure what her problem was with me but it seemed she was very mad that she couldn't get my boyfriend's attention and blamed me for it. Making rude comments when I was done dosing and went upstairs to get the keys from my boyfriend and she says geeze the gaurd dog is out today. Like I'm guarding him from talking to this lady. Every morning I would come in she would go out of her way to ignore me when I came in and laugh and make some snotty comment when I walked out. I ignored everything she did and pretended I didn't notice, I should of complained when it happened but I didn't want to give her the satisfaction that she bothered me. Luckily when I went in yesterday she was telling someone else it was her last day. Thank goodness that miserable lady is gone and I hope she doesn't pull that same stuff at her next job. I could imagine someone not as patient as me getting physical with her.

MJ: I attended the IOP cbt based group when I was ready to quit drinking 7+ years ago. Pretty sure they helped save my life. I am thankful for THS, my coworker who referred me, and my sobriety almost every day.I know there are a lot of people that are court ordered to be there and don't care. It was such a shame to see them not benefit from the program. But for people like me, I just want the counselors to know that you do make a difference, you are greatly appreciated and I will never forget you!!Thank you thank you thank you!!

Brad Phillips: Don't expect the Ritz but I for one am glad it's here

Schick Shadel Hospital: what do users think?

gary wilbur: I tried 2 different 12 step programs that failed. The adverse therapy at Schick Shadel Hospital saved my life. It worked and I'm very grateful! Thanks so much

J J: So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

LL: and counseling, or a duffy

Maria Janes: I am so grateful for SS giving me back my life. It's an AMAZING treatment with the most wonderful caring staff. If you are struggling please go check out SSH, IT WORKS!!!!!

Wayne Gerhart: Life saving organization. There should be more institutions like this. They have been breaking addictions since the 1930's - medically and with an aim for the root problems. Worth every penny.Staff was professional and the treatment effective.

Andrea K: It was the best 11.5 days of my life. It's difficult to find words to express my gratitude. No cravings, no desire, and a new life ahead. The staff, facility, program, food, etc....it is all fabulous. Didn't want to leave, and can't wait to be back for my recaps! ❤🙌

jedadiah roll: Almost 6 years sober, this place saved my life.

MaryAnn Samson: Saved one of my family member's lives.

John Beasley: BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was hopeless and my body could no longer function from alcohol abuse. I had been through the standard 28 day treatment plans so many times that I was known by first name when I eventually returned for help yet again. None worked and I resolved that I was going to die from drinking. The program at Schick did exactly as they said, I gave them 10 days and they gave me my life back. The biggest thing for me was that I have never experienced a craving for alcohol since stepping foot in their doors. Alcohol simply became a thing of my past.I have been booze free for over 7 years and have never been happier. Thank you Schick for giving hope to the hopeless and helping when I was helpless. Forever grateful!!

Janette Roberton: Schick Shadel is an amazing hospital with amazing staff. I have been sober for 3 years and I couldn't have done it without their help. Not only did treatment help me gain back my control over a craving that controlled my life, but their wholistic approach to counseling, education and developing a community ensures that sobriety remains a constant in my life and will always be a constant in my life. Since leaving Schick, I have excelled in my career, my family life, and finances. The Schick team helped put me in contact with an amazing psychiatrist that has a background in addiction, they maintain a social network that helps me with peers that understand where I'm coming from. I always recommend the treatment at Schick over any other treatment center, as I know the treatment works.

Dee Gutierrez: I was at Schick Shadel in Burian WA several years ago. I believe my treatment there saved my life. I was sinking further and further into heavier and more frequent drinking. I was a "closet" drinker and hid my problem for over 20 years. I had tried AA and stopped for a few years but I found AA and it's 12 step program difficult. The staff at Schick are great and the use of aversion therapy, counseling, group therapy, and science based approach to curing addiction really worked for me. My aversion to alcohol is still strong. It may not work for everyone, but when your life is on the line, you have to be willing to try everything.

Ben Beck: I graduated almost 3 years ago. They saved my life. I had tried many times before, but always started again within a few weeks. Now I don't even think about alcohol until it's around me. The desire is not there. I am so thankful for the help abd the ability to think clearly again. It definitely works!

jeremy williams: Changed my life.

Jeff Stock: 2 years ago to the day I walked in terrified not knowing what to expect but knowing I needed help with my drinking. The program works! To this day I have no cravings and have a great life. If I can do it anybody that wants to stop can with the great staff they have there.

S

Kenneth Evans: I went there twice, in 2015 and 2017. I have no regrets by either experience regardless of how different those experiences where. The staff is caring and will help you as long as you are helping yourself. They will help you with your needs with a great set of classes, medical care, exercise, and other activities.BUT, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO MAKES IT. They provide you the tools to deal with whatever you are struggling with. And can become life friends with.Thank you Sea Mar for helping me with my PTSD/addiction

Rachel Forrest: I avoided going to this treatment center for two years. I wanted to go to a nicer treatment center. One that i had been to before and was comfortable going to. I had a bed date set for mid September and had every intention on not going .. Not yet. Not until i got arrested on warrants and a pending new charge. Turning point worked with my lawyer in jail and behind the scenes to make sure i still had my bed date. They even let me come in a week later becauase i was in jail. I was granted a temporary release order to attend a 30 day inpatent program there. I had no intentions on staying, no intentions on getting better and no intentions on changing my life. But God had a different plan for me. One that i couldn't see or believe until i fully surrendered. Turning Point changed my life. As a 28 year old female who has struggled with addiction for almost 15 years, as well as bulimia and mental disorders, i was pretty helpless. Ive been to inpatient treatment centers and outpatient centers on and off since i was 17. No place has ever seemed to care about me and love me the way i needed lt. I came in so broken and completely defeated. I wanted to die. I didnt see the point. It wasnt just the drug and alcohol addiction they addressed. It was my personal and family relationships, codepency, my eating and hoarding obsession which not many knew about. Turning Point hasnt just changed my thinking or eating habits, Turning Point changed and saved my life. I got reintroduced to NA and AA in a way i haf never experienced before. I started to listen and prayed for God to open my eyes and my heart to this program. And he did. I got to experience a spiritual awakening i had never felt and truly surrendered my will and my life over to the care of God as i understand him. I havent been the same. I graduated their program and had to turn myself in right after discharge. I was then released from jail about 5 days later, the pending charge against me was dropped, my housing came through, i was blessed with a sponsor i met through one of the H&I presentations that i get to talk to and experience life with every day, no more warrants, and no more court dates. God is doing for me what i could not do for myself. I went from a hopeless dope feind to a dopeless hope fiend. Never give up. A huge THANK YOU to Marco, Linette, Carol, Robert, Josh, Rafi, Jessica, Griselda, Romeo and all of the SeaMar staff for making my experience there one to talk about. Definitely would chose this treatment over any others.Thank you again!!Love always Rachel

rafaela iniguez: The counselors and staff are compassionate and willing to help if your ready to make change in your life.

Danielle Cushen: Im about to celebrate 18 months clean and I have been so successful in my recovery because my time at Turning Point was nothing short of amazing. It helped saved my life and I am beyond grateful for all the staff that helped me along the way.

Jonathan Forbes: I graduated this treatment center January 24th of 2018 and I am proud to say I have almost 14 months clean. My experience there was actually really good. It gave me a safe place to be in my early walk in sobriety. I also really loved how it is a 12 step based Recovery Center. Every night of the week there was a meeting either with volunteers coming in to share with us or we would just have one as a house. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful and my counselor bill was amazing. I would recommend this place I would recommend this place to anyone.

Christina Brown: I learned a lot from Seamar, I absolutely loved my councilor Robert. Today I have over nine months because of your program, and I am truly thankful for beginning my recovery at this treatment center. All of the staff were very kind and helpful and it was so great that we got to go on outings and that the staff took us for walks outside the facility. The main focus for their program is to help recovering addicts like myself....

Joshua Sweet: I graduated from Turning Point on July 5th 2017. It was my first time going to treatment in 15 years of active addiction. I stayed for an extended period of 45 days, got out, never looked back. I am very involved in a self help group and am now chairman for Hospitals and Institutions of South King County. I go to many treatment facilities to share my story with other addicts. I have seen them all in the area and Seamar Turning Point is a one of the winners. The staff cares about the clients, and if you want to recover you will. If your not ready to recover it matters not where you go to treatment. My journey started at Seamar Turning Point, and I am happy to say that.

Valley Cities- Recovery Place Seattle: what do users think?

Travis Walker DesAutels: We arrived with no appointment, but staff was welcoming and clear with what we could expect. They helped us navigate insurance and forms. It felt like they cared.

Ronald Fitzgerald: I am a PACT team worker, that means I work with mentally ill people that are chronically homeless usually and addicted to some substance or another. It is very hard to find something that they are willing to get sober for. The few that I have been able to get into treatment have mostly gone through this way. Detox at VC then off to treatment. Which has worked and been a blessing. Valley City is doing great work. Thank you from one case manager to another

Sylvia Garcia: Detox from alcohol was great, the staff made sure that I was always comfortable unlike trying to detox at home. The food was not that great. And I would have liked to go outside more. They had a great TV and game room. I made friends there and we played Domino's and scrabble all day and night.I only went to detox here. I did not go to the rehab.

tammy lopez: This place saved my life, If you want a chance at getting your life back this place will help you , I recommend Valley Cities /RPS to anyone wanting seroius sobriety ....Thank you to all the staff

Larry Mitchell: They have good people working there for the help on get in recovery

narcis mailoto: If ur focus is on 10 and humility on 11, youll get your sobriety bacc. anything less and your playing yourself. They know whos there to do the real work and whos tryna work the system. but like i said dnt play yourself. Your recovery starts with you.God bless all yal on this journey.

Nua Counseling: what do users think?

David: Erin and her team helped changed my life for the better. It's been years now since I was a patient of theirs and till this day I still use what they taught me. They went above and beyond what I expected and I'm so grateful to have found them

Phillips Adebimpe: NUA has truly been a game changer for me and my family! It really starts with the staff and their approach. They aren’t simply seeing patients; they see whole people! They’ve been amazingly resourceful not only in sessions, but also with pointing me and my family to outside resources when it comes to things they don’t offer. They take the time to ensure they find the right fit for each person. I’d highly recommend them any day of the week!

Fidely Navarro Lopez: Mental health is really important and NUA counseling really assisted me in my times of need. Their staff and counselor have given me the tools I needed to be able to manage my mental health in a more productive and meaningful way. I highly recommend this facility to those seeking professional help, not only are they experts in their fields but they are so compassionate in their care, highly recommend.

Ryan Lawrence Co: Where to begin? NUA was my choice for help when I hit my bottom and knew I needed serious help. I chose NUA for their wellness and CBT approach to looking at addiction- alcohol in my case. NUA's kindness and professional approach is on point... from IOP to continued weekly sessions on the heels of completing the program, I have so many new tools added to my arsenal... I am a 12-step AA fella, but NUA doesn't push that agenda, which was welcomed in my decision... They don't feel hospital-like sterile, so I felt like a human rather than a patient. I am filled with gratitude as I look to what I learned, and continue to learn from NUA, and am so glad I took the leap and made that initial call to get on the path of sobriety.

Keith Fosgett: I work for a treatment center located in San Diego, CA and our center has referred lots of individuals struggling with substance use disorders to NUA for aftercare. They are fantastic! I have been with my center for 7 years and we consistently get great feedback from our previous residents about NUA. Erin and Whitnie are an absolute joy to work with. Ethical, honest, and wonderful treatment are what I hear.

Erin Muat: bad experience with one of the main staff during my return

Kayla Frances Summers: .

Kiara Patterson: I've been engaging with Nua Counseling for ~4 months and my experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. The staff are well educated and trained to assist with the struggles that may come with addiction and goes above and beyond to ensure their clients are supported.Their ability to adapt to peoples personal experiences to provide suitable treatment is amazing. Along with being in such unprecedented times, Nua has committed themselves to providing resources and additional support as Covid is making an impact.Nua intakes all external circumstances which may have an affect on ones well being, and create an effective plan to help one reach their full potential. Support is the Pillar, Lifestyle Fulfillment is the Plan, Recovery is the Purpose! ✨

Heather Vollin: This is the best place, with the best people! ❤❤ I don't know where I would be without them!

Christa Kelly: I've struggled with alcoholism for decades and have tried to quit on my own many times to no avail. In 2020, when things got really bad, I called around to several treatment centers for help but they were either very expensive and/or didn't take my insurance. I finally spoke with one professional who recommended Nua. From the very beginning, everyone at Nua was kind, compassionate and very helpful. It isn't like a traditional 12 step program. In fact, being in treatment at Nua has given me an opportunity to get to know myself through a more holistic approach...I especially loved the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy exercises. In our current world of uncertainty and isolation, Nua gave me a chance to meet "my tribe" in meetings. I felt a sense of connection, welcoming and support that has been vital on my path of recovery. Everyday, I am profoundly grateful for Erin, Haley and the rest of the team that has been there for me every step the way as well as helping me through some pretty scary parts of a DUI.This is the longest I have been sober in my adult life and that is definitely something. I highly recommend this program to anyone suffering in their addiction.

Piper McCullough: Nua is an all-around phenomenal counselling center and an excellent resource for anyone seeking support in Seattle. I cannot stress how difficult finding a reputable and caring counselor is. Erin Lynch is a tremendous and knowledgeable counselor and I cannot recommend her enough. By helping my family member navigate and overcome his addictions, Nua truly saved a life. They have offered continued and extensive support and are beyond understanding with their patients.

Scooter Stephenson: Nua takes a holistic approach to alcoholism treatment. Their individual and group based approach was tremendously successful for me. After trying to quit for 10 years, I am now happily and proudly 3+ years sober thanks to Nua. If you are ready to take quitting seriously I highly recommend Nua Counseling.

SharonLee Langsford: I am so grateful to Nua Counseling and the two therapists I have met there. Erin Lynch and Alexandra Huston are very caring professionals. They have gone out of their way to work with me and the issues posed by my disabilities. Their compassion and empathy resonate through their interactions with me.Erin is my main therapist and she has helped me tremendously to deal with my past trauma and current crisis. She has shown patience with my very slow healing and improvements. For someone with my circumstances, therapy can be a harrowing and painful ordeal. However, I know that Erin has my back. The Nua Counseling office is a safe place for me to face my emotional and psychological issues, to express myself and to feel accepted and appreciated.I highly recommend Nua Counseling to anyone seeking therapy with moral support.
