We had some scheduling complications on our side and she was super flexible with the pickup timing.The carrot cake was delicious. The frosting was a Swiss Meringue Buttercream and was the perfect amount of sweet. It wasn't too thick and really added to the cake rather than burrying it.The 6" was a good size for a group of 8 adults and we only ate about half of it so there was plenty for leftovers.

Beth: If you are looking for a cake for someone special or just yourself, I recommend you try Morfeys. I have purchased from a handful of other shops in Seattle over the last 5 years and so far, Morfeys Cakes is my favorite. I wanted to surprise my fiancé for his birthday with a white confetti cake that reminded him of his childhood and this cake was so cute. The buttercream was smooth and delicious, without any strong sugary aftertaste. The raspberry buttercream filling was my favorite it was sweet and just a little tart. After we opened the cake, I placed it in a cake container and two days later the cake was still moist and the buttercream tasted fresh. Erin, was just as sweet as the cakes she bakes and was super accommodating. I highly recommend!

Took a look at the cakes and they were works of art. You definitely need to call ahead or go online for like wedding cakes, birthday cakes or other celebrations. We went with lavender haze and chocolate decadence. Lavender haze was a perfect light flavor and chocolate decadence was so rich and moist. The cake bites were the perfect size for everyone to try both flavors and not leave half of a piece of cake left uneaten on their plate. We loved their cake.

Mary Gilmore: I am a picky home baker/chocolate cake enthusiast and i was impressed. They sell out quickly though! Get there early! I got there 4 minutes after they opened and there was already a significant line.The only problem i have is their rotating menu is fun but apparently somewhat unpredictable - i really only came for the april seasonal coconut cake and they ended up not having it. Also these are obviously hand made and with high quality ingredients but paying 10-11 bucks for a single slice of cake that tastes like something I could make at home gives me a touch of sad. I still will tho, chocolate cures the sad.

They were all equally delicious and unique. The gentleman helping us was very informative and it was a very friendly atmosphere. It's a good thing we live in Lacey because I would be there every week if I lived in Seattle. They have quickly become our special occasion splurge. We will eventually try the whole menu I'm quite sure. We are very lucky to have found this gem. I think about going back all the time.
Madhur Chopra: Wonderful cake shop- has me looking forward to my next visit. We had the banana cake with banana pudding in the layers, and the chocolate malt cake. We loved both, but the banana one maybe a tad bit more! The cake slices are generous and around $10 each. The space is clean and inviting, if not a bit basic, but that's the aesthetic of Georgetown in general I think. Will be back!

Candice Boley: I ordered 18 regular in 2 flavors and a dozen mini cupcakes in 3 flavors for my kiddo’s bday party. I chose NY Cupcakes partly due to price, as you can get more cupcakes and have more choice of number of flavors when ordering in bulk compared to a couple known Seattle stores, and I made the drive over from Seattle. Service was excellent with tips on wrapping the boxes in plastic wrap since I was serving the cupcakes the next morning. When I showed the staff some fondant toppers I ordered externally, they were direct about not inserting the toppers too early since the cake is soft. The cupcakes tasted delicious. I would order them again any day, and if I wasn’t ordering primarily for kids, I would have liked to have tried more flavors! Also, the shop smells great and is beyond cute!

Mara U: The cupcakes are phenomenal with rich flavors, moist cake, and light frosting. The macarons are expensive and somewhat flavorless and not worth getting. The chocolate cupcake though is amazing and is a must for chocolate fans.

Frankie: Such great cupcakes. A little pricey but totally worth it. Especially their seasonal flavors, always good. The salted caramel and cookie dough are 2 of my must haves. They also sell edible cookie dough, which is also pretty great! Always fantastic service as well. What I really liked was that the flavor was most definitely there and delicious but it really wasn't too rich like you get at some cupcake joints. Erin Orth: Why did I give this place 5 stars? They don’t have a lot to choose from but the cupcakes are gourmet, moist, light and really tasty. The cup in the picture is two cupcakes smashed together and boy is it sweet! It’s also original. I’ve never seen anything like it and if you want to impress your friends/family with some gourmet deserts, this is the place to go. Support your local establishments!

The chocolate frosting was too sweet for my taste and the raspberry filling not flavorful enough. The owner reached out to talk about it all and make it right, which is a huge part of the experience. Overall I would be willing to try again but with different flavors.
Mark Vega: Amazing little bakery! So glad we found it. After traveling to 5 other places around Seattle, we almost gave up trying to find a cake spot. Chelsea automatically welcomed us and was excited to hear we wanted a wedding cake. Her personality was so positive and infectious. We took a couple cupcakes for tasting based on her suggestion and immediately knew we wanted them to be our spot. Holly helped with our order via email, was so pleasant to work with and made the process extraordinarily easy. We provided a few mood board pictures and colors, but everything else was imagined and made by their team. It came out better than we imagined! Best part was the taste. It truly shows they use quality ingredients and everyone was asking where we got it and came back for seconds. We had a separate vegan/gluten free cake and it could have been even more popular than the main raspberry/vanilla one. We sent her an email with a photo of the type of cake we wanted to celebrate our birthday, and she NAILED IT. She sent over the details and quickly replied to any questions we had. In addition, picking up the cake was a breeze. Holly was right there, present in her shop, greeting customers as they walked in to pick up their orders. She took the time to speak with us about the cake, and it truly felt like a personalized experience. Now on to the cake. The cake went WAY beyond our expectations. Indranee Saha: Delightful cake store! Marina is a skilled baker and her cakes taste as good as they look. I ordered a set of mini chocolate cream cupcakes and a chocolate mousse cake for a birthday event and both were smash hits with our guests. The mirror glaze work is incredibly beautiful, and the mousse melts in your mouth. Marina was prompt with her suggestions and replies and placing orders to picking them up were hassle-free. Will be returning back!
