I'm glad I found Sew Generously.Levi took his time getting to know me and my style, and we selected some incredible fabrics for a 3-piece gray suit, two jackets, and a couple of fun shirts. Levi patiently walked me through every detail and potential customization--buttons, lapels, pockets, linings--and we put a plan together.David and his team then went to work. They made sure the fit was perfect and no detail was too small for them to change. Want the buttons on your cuff moved a quarter inch? They'll happily do it.The thing I like the best though is that my new clothes look good when I wear them and move--not just when I'm posing like a mannequin. I have more than a few coats from other tailors that look great when I'm not moving but, for example, the lapel will crease when I raise my arms or try to move. The Sew Generously folks knew how to minimize these issues while still providing a great fit.I'd give 'em six stars if I could.

I mean, who is shopping for clothes in the middle of the week before 4 or 5?SO many clothing stores in the Seattle area are close between 4 and 6, meaning if you've got any sort of 'normal' job, you've got just about enough time to get there and try on one article before being shooed out.This is probably due largely to the fact that the owner, Scott is very hands-on, and is there most days of the week. It's great because when you've got important details to discuss concerning items being altered, you often get to deal with the owner himself, which is nice, for obvious reasons.It's no mystery why this store has outlasted so many other clothing stores in Seattle.

Tweetie Bird: A well-made suit can make you feel like a million dollars.I needed to get a suit made quickly for my friend's wedding. Worked with Frank. He was able to get a rush order in and have the suit completed in less than 3 weeks, just barely in time for the wedding!Quite a bit pricier than Indochino, but the quality, craftsmanship, and customer service is just so much better. I can't even wear the suit I got from Indochino because they messed up the measurements, tailoring, and refused to give me my money back... Frank guided me through the whole process from picking the style to making sure that the final touch-ups fit me comfortably. Definitely recommending American Bespoke to others.

Gurn Blanstein: I've never been shopping at the Men's Wearhouse before. But I needed to go to a memorial, and didn't have any proper clothes to wear. If I had gone to a department store it would have been taken forever to pick out what I wanted and to try everything on getting the right sizes and what not. Edward at the Men's Wearhouse at Northgate was excellent. He measured me and help me pick out some very nice clothes at an affordable price. It was an excellent experience. And if I ever need dress clothes again I will definitely go back to the men's warehouse

Grace Henneford: Went here this week with my boyfriend to upgrade his wardrobe a bit. The outside of the building is a little worn, but inside they had a lot of different options and sizes. Once we got a bit settled looking at everything we were assisted by Gabriel who was super knowledgable, showed us how to do a full knotted tie, transparent about what colors would look best, styling advice, and was super personable to talk with. I really appreciated in general the environment of it being laid back and approachable, there wasn't this sense of being rushed to get in or out, no pressure to buy what we touched, and no pressure to know what was what.

Robert Min: Gabriel is truly a master of his art. Had my tuxedo and a shirt made here for my wedding. I use to by suits off the rack and get them tailored as I have wider shoulders but they still never fit quite right. Never buying off the rack again after getting my first bespoke suit made. Made an appointment, got fitted and picked the fabrics for suit and shirt. Some time later came in for a fitting and needed to make some minor adjustments. Couple days later came back and everything fit perfectly to my shape. Came out looking amazing and will always get suits made here moving forward. Even the shirt fit perfectly, no need to bunch and tuck any excess material. For the price I think it’s a great buy as you can easily spend alot at Nordstrom or Bloomingdale’s for a mass produced suit made with cheap fabric that doesn’t even fit well. Highly recommend getting suits or tuxedos made here as there’s nothing quite like a bespoke suit from an exceptional tailor.

Its awe-inspiring to see how everything that happened occurred for a reason, and how it feels like it couldn’t have happened any other way, as if the events that occurred were predestined.Our meeting with Nicole at Trillium was one such fated event. If it wasn’t for Nicole’s unwavering dedication to meet the time challenge that we set her, we would have not been able to have such an amazing wedding day! We can truly say that Nicole at Trilium was a God-send, and we were so fortunate to have crossed paths.Our wedding day was scheduled for 29th December, and it was November 26th and we were still in need of both a wedding dress and a suit. My wife had seen a dress she loved in a magazine and it felt like we had been to every bridal store in the Seattle area, with no success of finding the dress. In the end, we had almost given up looking for a dress, and had only several hours of shopping time left, so we decided to take a break and look for a suit for me. We stopped in at a store in the Bellevue area and they directed us to Trillium. As soon as we walked into Trillium, we were greeted so graciously by Nicole, after we told her our situation, that we only had one month before our wedding day and that we needed not only a suit but a wedding dress, Nicole’s uncanny ability to put our minds at ease, and guarantee us that she would be able to have not only my suit made in time, but also my wife’s dress. When my wife showed her the dress that she saw in the magazine, Nicole said that she had a designer in China who was able to make the dress for her in 2 weeks, and have it shipped to Seattle in 2 weeks for fitting.We were so relieved… finally after we had almost given up, we had found Nicole at Trillium, who had saved us from disaster.. Immediately Nicole got to work, took measurements, and we chose fabrics, and she started work on getting my suit made and sent the measurements and design for my wife’s dress to her designer in China. We leave Trillium feeling a huge sigh of relief at what had just happened.On 12/13/15 we heard from Nicole that not only was my suit ready, but that my wife’s dress had arrived from China and was ready for fitting. The following weekend we head down to Trillium for a fitting, and what was amazing is that my wife’s dress fit perfectly. She did not require any adjustments. It was perfect, the measurements and photos that Nicole had taken had resulted in a perfect fit! How amazing is that !We both truly believe that we were destined to meet Nicole that day, and that if it wasn’t for her, our wedding day would not have been the most amazing day of our lives! I was trying to find a way to incorporate my Mom's veil from her wedding. Due to it being 40+ years old, it was too discolored to use in my actual veil.
