Stephanie Miller: We took our Samoyed here for the self serve dog wash several times and every time the staff is so kind and helpful. They have several shampoo options and provide everything you need, including dog ear muffs that help ease anxiety during the blow drying. My only “complaint” is that the blow dryers aren’t very powerful, so it takes a while for dogs with a lot of fur.
Lynn Hubbard: The facilities for self-washing your dog were clean and useful. I love the hose that sprays soapy water on the dog.
Cory Baker: So! I took my 9 month old pup, Evee for an anal gland expression, last minute, as a walk in. Maddy? I believe was the groomers name who had her in and out within 5 minutes. Evee had been at her fanny for 2 days, whimpering during potties, and of course had the unmistakable odor. The results were immediate as Evee is as happy as a clam, no getting at her butt, no odors, and having normal potties. FIVE STAR SERVICE! As for the shop itself, I have no opinion there, except I noticed they have a really fun dog toy selection. They’ve just earned themselves a new client and customer

Her sweet, calm demeanor won him over and he simply loves getting clipped and cleaned now. Logan Niles: It is such a nice place with friendly and helpful staff. It's also a very affordable option for anyone with a large dog. The closest place near me wants $25/hr, which would have cost $100 since my girl is big and has a double coat. At Wag n' Wash, we had a whole hour for $25 to do everything, plus get her completely dry. There are plenty of towls as well. The compliments my girl has gotten on her cleanliness, fluffines, and soft coat have been fantastic! We will absolutely be back!

I can hand on heart say Alex did the absolute BEST!! I’m so grateful for the care he took of my pup Otis. Otis came out so proud and handsome. This is a very affordable place with great products to get your pup cleaned.5/5/23 update. There are new dryers, and they're not great. The hose heats up within a minute or two and the nozzle gets super hot too. I had the setting on low heat and it was super uncomfortable update - other dryer available!

Aditya Bajaj: My dog is very happy. Typically, groomed elsewhere, he would act after the grooming like he was tortured. But after Rex appointment, he’s looking more comfortable and relaxed like I had sent him on a vacation. I thought I chose a little bit more length in the options offered but this shaved also looks pretty nice on him—most importantly he looks comfortable and there’s no after grooming-licking episodes which makes me happy to see. Kenneth Kang: Sunny never comes back from REX w/ any sign of cuts or anxiety.We've taken Sunny to multiple other places in Seattle, and we've consistently had superior experience w/ Jun. Jun is also incredibly accommodating with his scheduling, and usually there are availability within just a couple of weeks vs. all the others places that are booked out for months. REX also seems to be able to hold their staffing vs. other grooming places constantly losing their employees, leading to groomers w/ no experience learning on the job.REX may be a little more expensive than other places, but well worth the price considering how professional their grooming is as well as the available spots for your pup w/o waiting for grooming for 2 months+.
Uncle Grandpa: Really awesome place. Been calling around everywhere trying to find a place that could get our dog in the same day to do some much needed grooming and every single place I called at minimum had a 2 week wait list and then I called Rex talked to the receptionist and at first I was told no availability but to hold on so she could ask if the groomer could fit in our Shih Tzu and 10 mins later i got a phone call telling me to be there in an hour and a half and they would be able to groom our baby girl. So a BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT THIS PLACE. WILL DEF COME BACK HERE IN THE FUTURE
Sydney Fine: for an emergency same day cut and they saw her. Ever since then my dog, Luna, saw Natalie every 8-10 weeks. Natalie has been amazing with my high energy dog, and Luna is always so excited to see her! It is expensive at $140 for a 30lb dog, but I am so sad I just moved out of the state because now I need to find a new groomer. Make sure to book out in advance. She is worth it for your doodle mixes!

We had difficulty even finding a salon willing to take on the challenge, with her being so little and having a double coat. But the team at REX was responsive and empathetic from the start! They welcomed us with open arms and were patient with my new-hovercraft-puppy-mom anxiety.From the moment we walked in, Olive showed only excitement. The front-of-house staff showered her with love, making it slightly less heart-wrenching for us to part ways. Despite having some degree of separation anxiety, my girl didn't utter a single bark.Jun, our groomer, was upfront about the challenge of a full groom for a pup Olive's age but was game to try if we were. I had no grand expectations—just needed to cool off my pup for summer.Fast forward two hours, I returned to find Olive looking like she had spent a day at the spa. My girl was her sassy, comfortable self. She looked fantastic and was clearly smitten with the team at REX. Kudos to REX Grooming for their exceptional service, patience, and all-around magic-touch.

I had an appointment books months in advance for my younger pup and was deliberating whether to send my older dog cos of some older dog conditions. I reached out to ask them if they are comfortable handling my 16 year old, now that she is getting much older and can’t stand for a long time. They came back with suggestions on how they will handle her and managed to slot her in at the very last minute on the original day the younger pup was scheduled. Yay for that.

I tried to clean her off, but she did need all the little things that come with a professional groom anyway. I loved that Posh has the option of a groom with a full haircut and without, but they still trim up the face/feet/belly, etc. The service they provided was exactly what we needed. I could tell when I was there that everyone behind the counter loved dogs, and the dogs all seemed happy to be there too. They were so kind and loving to my dog right away, and she seemed happy and relaxed upon pickup. We will continue using Posh Paws when we need a good groom.

Ian Mortensen: Today was the 2nd time I've come here and they all do an amazing job. My 2yo lab Dooley is quite the handful when it comes to bathing, nails, etc so I appreciate all the patience and love they provide. Dooley came home looking extra shiny and happy.I moved further away from Star so I usually bathe Dooley myself, but I was contacting other grooming places near me and they were charging 2x or more than what I paid here. It's reasonably priced meaning I feel confident in leaving a tip.Thank you for all your hard work, especially for the more chaotic dogs who have are harder time with being groomed y'all are the best!

Izabelle Viator: and this was his first time having this done in a grooming facility but Bryce did an amazing job! $135 for his wash, cut, and all the amenities and I couldn’t be any happier with how he looks! They were amazing at making me and Finn comfortable and you can tell how much they care about all the fur babies. We will definitely be making this our new spot and I would refer all pet parents here!!

He always gets treated with special care and attention and as a customer, I've always had a great experience working with them.He is a rescue and it was hard to find a place where he felt comfortable. Once we started going to FLOOF, he became more and more comfortable with grooming. He has a difficult coat and sheds a lot, and they always do a great job making him look and feel great.

C Yusem-Meyers: Just love the staff at City Dog Ballard. Even after being away for several months, they greet my dogs like old friends.

Morgan Nissen: Higgins has had one groom here from Jason and it is the best groom he has ever had! He came home the perfect length, the perfect shaping, and so happy. In chatting with Jason I knew that he would be wonderful - kind, patient, caring. No question, we will be going back for him to groom Higgins again!We come here for daycare if I have a work trip, or if something comes up. I appreciate how nice the staff is, I love that I can see the webcams. The only two things that bothers me is that I never see humans interacting with the pups - usually they are alone, and Higgins comes home smelling like urine. He is a little lowrider, but still, his little legs have come home dingy and yellow. That makes me uncomfortable. But when we do drop him off he always seems happy to trot on back there. That is the most important thing to me!

I currently have a Gordon Setter and it speaks volumes that he enters the salon willingly and warmly greets his groomer. I appreciate the willingness of each groomer to check what kind of cut I want and what additional services and I am always pleased with the final results. In addition, I bring my dog in for nail trims and I appreciate the convenience of their walk in option.

Steven Clifford: It’s so hard to find a place that can trim my Rottweiler’s nails. She absolutely hates having it done. Bark in Style was able to get it done in less than 5 minutes on a walk in basis. I couldn’t believe it! Will absolutely be back!

Shay Moore: This place is full of miracle workers. I own three dogs, but I also foster dogs, and the director of the rescue has me bring any of the dirty/matted rescues here. I was still bringing my own dogs to another groomer until after a few times at Bark In Style I saw what talented groomers they are!! I am talking miracles in some cases--dogs that came in impossibly neglected coming out looking like supermodel pups!They are gentle, really understanding the animals and caring for their needs. Some of our fosters can come in quite scared, having never been professionally groomed or even cared for at all. They take this into account and work with each animal's comfort levels. Every single cut we have got from them has been just beautiful, even when we have had an awkward shaving -necessary situation. I recommend them to everyone now.Updated 2022: still love this place. Even my nervous little dog gets the best grooming there. They are so patient.
