Matthew D. Davies, M.D., Ph.D.: what do users think?

CoCo A-S: Life saver… when my PCP wouldn’t help me with a referral to Endocrinology, I was forced to go to Issaquah Swedish. WHO in turn communicated with Dr Davies to help me treat Graves’ symptoms. This doctor took me on as a patient the day after I was in the Swedish Er on his LUNCH BREAK! He could have made me wait, or denied me as a patient, but instead he saw me the next day & treated my symptoms. He has walked me through remission as for now & I wholeheartedly trust him. It’s been a complete rollercoaster & I would not want anyone else as my Endocrinologist. He goes way above & beyond. Us patients are so extremely lucky to have him. And, seriously so kind. I’m grateful for him & couldn’t ask for a more personal, thorough ,& kind doctor. I’m beyond grateful for him. My Cardiologist said that I was “lucky to have him” & “He is very intelligent.” That gave me even more piece of mind in the beginning. He communicates beyond any doctor I’ve ever met.I hope that he’s always the Endocrinologist that’s there to walk me through this disease. I can’t imagine not having him. It can be scary as I’ve learned. He IS the best Endocrinologist.

Katherine Kennedy: and experienced, he is the most empathetic doctor I have encountered in my 75 years. He is truly interested in his patients, taking plenty of time to hear “the story” underlying the presenting medical problem and to get at its root causes rather than just masking symptoms. I travelled four hours to get to his office and will happily do it again!

Seshadri Sridharan (Sesh): One of the most effective, knowledgable and reliable endocrinologists I've worked with. Highly recommend.

barney Bumble: zero bedside manner. But, he gets the job done and I believe he knows his practice very well. come prepared. know what you want to say. he speaks very fast and moves fast. I would write down what you need to communicate beforehand.

Bri Anne: I have only had one appointment so far, but I feel like I have found the right endocrinologist. I have had a hard time finding doctors who do not make me feel guilty or crazy about fighting for my health and looking for answers. He was very understanding and helpful. He also seems to be an excellent physician who knows his stuff, really cares and will not give up on his patients. I feel a lot better knowing that I have him as part of my medical team. If you're reading this...THANK YOU, DR. DAVIES!

Tracy Sumita: Clean

Ed Wolf: Dr. Davies is a consummate professional who listens and does not jump to conclusions. He has my diabetes completely under control. He explains things incredibly well.I am amazed that anybody had a bad experience with him. I would drive for hours to continue seeing him if I needed to.

David Marcarian: Technicians or 2

Nan Beth Walton: I think Dr., Davies is a very thorough and compassionate doctor. I have had his support for probably around 7-8 years or more. He has a reserved manner when you first meet him, but as you continue to be his patient it becomes clear that he really cares very much for us.

jodi gearon: Been my endocrinologist for years. My first appointment was unscheduled. He stayed for his lunch hour to see me and saved me from potentially harmful radiation "treatment". Dr. Davies is extremely professional, wildly intelligent and knowledgeable. He listens to your symptoms and can provide great insight but if you are looking for someone to waste time holding your hand, go somewhere else.I have referred a few friends who are well educated and smart...they love him!

Lisa Eagen: I started seeing Dr Davies when we were both living in Eugene, Or, up to currently since he moved to the Seattle area. I have moved to the Portland area so it is a little closer but worth the drive. I had experienced three other endocrinologist prior to him. The last one when I went to see him for an annual visit, started messing with the meds for really no reason. I was stable, but screwed me all up. Dr Davies had to fix me after that to get me back to normal. He is by far the best of all I seen. He listens to your issues and thoroughly goes through your meds and conditions. He then tries to find solutions usually only tackling one at a time to make sure your having true results. I have a condition called Sheehan’s Syndrome, which the final result is hypopituitarism. He has to treat me for a number of issues created by the loss of my pituitary gland. It’s been an uphill battle but I appreciate his vast knowledge. It’s definitely been worth the drive up to see him especially when it is usually only once, maybe twice a year.

Callie C: Dr Davies is a consummate professional who does something pretty rare. He listens to his patient. He is also communicative after the appointments, and answers questions rather rapidly via the apps that Swedish has available on pc and cell phone. He also has a top notch staff who is responsive and kind. My first appointment consisted of several questions and bloodwork I hadn't thought of before and the results were enough to come up with a good plan for treatment. The results have been wonderful and I feel better than ever. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an endocrinologist.

Anne Frances Kelly: I appreciate Dr D very much. He's a no nonsense kind of Dr and I like his approach. I don't always follow his advice and I know he's right!

Mandana Ahmadian, MD: what do users think?

jing tian: My experience with Dr. Ahmadian is great. I'm satisfied with her expertise and patience.

Shipra Chandnani: I have been seeing Dr Ahmadian for 17 years now for my thyroid. She is very kind and patiently answers all my questions. She has always reached out promptly if I have questions about appointments, prescriptions or lab orders. The office staff is very friendly and caring. Have always had a good experience at all my visits.

Karen Shirkey: I have been seeing Dr. Ahmadian for the last several months for my thyroid. She has wonderful bedside manner and takes her time to answer all questions and explain things. This is a physician that genuinely cares and it shows. I would recommend her a hundred times over. Her office staff is always friendly and helpful. Overall, great experience.

Joyce S.: Dr. Ahmadian was my endocrinologist for 12-years, and she was always wonderful. She helped me through cancer and managed my thyroid health, and I've always appreciated her professionalism and care for her patients. As my family moves to a different state, I hope my new endocrinologist will provide the same excellent care. Thank you, Dr. Ahmadian!

Francesco Scordamaglia: I had seizure around 7 years ago and was reffered to Dr Amadian. I remmember it was a scary time just out of ER. I had a situation with my health to address. A rather tedious process getting back to work after a health scare. Dr Amadian went out of her way to assist me with stabilizing my health. Along with some great advice along the way and great bed side manor. We got me back to work and healthy. Outstanding in her field as well as in general as a physician. Definately a friend as of more recently to confide in. I recomend her as a specialist in her field.

Kocab Amiri: Dr Ahmadian is a very knowledgeable and great doctor. She listens carefully and she is very carrying .Highly recommend.

Shelly Stockman: Have seen Dr Ahmadian for the past few years and she is great. Always takes time to explain and reassure. Highly recommend her.

Diana Cohee: Hello I was a patient of hers from 2007 - 2014. I had Graves Disease / Hyperthyroid I had a lot of ups and downs, went on disability, lost my job, marriage etc. It was a very tough time. I opted to not get RAI treatment. EcentEvent my body burned itself out and reset itself .Now in remission and not on ant meds.Diana

Michele Possert: I have been seeing Dr Ahmadian for years. Was referred to her by my OB-GYN. I have never had a problem with her. When i have a concern, she makes sure that she includes me, and my opionion matters, in whatever plan we agree on. I have always left there feeling reassured about my diagnosis.

Office of Dr. Vanessa Wilkie: I was referred to Dr. Ahmadian after irregular lab work results. She was incredibly thorough and informative about my thyroid/parathyroid results and ultrasound report of nodule findings. She explained all options and asked several times if I understood and or had more questions. She referred me to a surgeon who also was very easy to talk with. She followed up with results of biopsy and steps to take for future.Only disapointment was the staff member who called with the original biopsy result and only read the doctor's notation but could not explain what it meant. Then Dr. Ahmadian called me right back and explained.I work in a Naturopathic office and we refer patients often now to Dr. Ahmadian.
