Gandhali Juvekar: This will always be one of my favorite Ethiopian restaurants! We always go there in big-ish groups and we usually order multiples of the vegetarian combo. Agelgil Ethiopia Restaurant: what do users think?

William Wright: and could not have been happier! We're both big eaters, and we couldn't even come close to finishing everything.

Zabia: but definitely try both so you can taste the difference… both are lovely!Best shared between a group to taste as many things as you can. Try the Bozena Shiro and the Geba Wota

Fernando Neuenschwander: The atmosphere is relaxed and mingling with the other customers is always fun. The coffee is phenomenal.Vegetarian options: As true Orthodox Ethiopians, they fast for 55 days from all meat and dairy products, so the menu has plenty of vegan options if you are not a carnivore like me.Parking: I usually find parking right out front, but sometimes have to find street parking in the neighborhood.

Valentina J: Delicious food! Vegetarian options are fantastic. Definitely worth the stop. The service is great!Vegetarian options: Their veggie combo and the sambusas are so delicious!!!

Free: Do not go anywhere but Agelgil!!!!I highly recommend Agelgil Restaurant for anyone who loves Ethiopian cuisine in Seattle. The food is authentic, flavorful, and hygienic. The chefs use fresh ingredients and traditional recipes to create mouthwatering dishes. Whether you choose a vegetarian combo or a meat dish, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is also spacious, clean, and relaxing. The owners are courteous and attentive to their customers, whether you dine in or order by phone. Agelgil Restaurant is the best place to enjoy the real taste of Ethiopia. You will definitely feel like home. Thank you for giving us the best Agelgil.

Kim Keay: and each was perfectly seasoned, and the injera was nice and sour

Siddharth Mahendran: was so delicious. The host was so kind and provided us with 2 different kinds of injera.Vegetarian options: Clearly categorized vegetarian section, which is vegan too

Queen Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant: what do users think?

Sanchit Gupta: Took my family for their first Ethiopian restaurant and they loved it. The chicken gravy's were both fantastic. The place was a little empty and had to pay for parking but otherwise the eating experience was great.I highly recommend this place.

Anna Atiagina: Do not order online from this restaurant, especially from Google maps. Just come and dine in or order while there. They have great food and I’ve been a customer when I lived in Capitol Hill pre-Covid. BUT they do not track their online orders, do not see them and not sure if they get money for it.I paid through Google maps and got charged but when I came for pick up they refused to fulfill the order, asking me to cancel. There was no cancel button in Google maps, and I was charged $40. The confirmation email had Queen Sheba logos all over. They were nice and made the order which I appreciate. I give them 4 stars because they should be better about it, and work with Google to remove online ordering as an option all together. It added stress and wait time to my experience.

Kelsey & Lydia: Great food! A little chilly inside, bring a sweater. We loved everything, we were comfortable. The staff were very kind. We had a great time! We recommend this location. There's close paid parking, just around the corner. My fiancée and I brought my mom here! Ethiopian food is her favourite and there's no restaurants where she's from in Central B.C, Canada. We even loved the name, it's sentimental to us because my Grandma used to always say "Who do you think you are, the Queen of Sheba?" Hahaha Today we did feel like Queen Sheba, with this fine dining.

Jebena Cafe: what do users think?

Christy Novasio: . The salad was fresh and tasty. They have vegetarian samosas filled with lentils, spices, and not sure what else- served with an Ethiopian green salsa that was delish!Service was outstanding- I have to reiterate that. Also, it was clean and cute inside. It doesn't have alcohol as far as I noticed

Thomas Chu: , prices are still the same.

Adam Reinhard: Our favorite restaurant in Seattle. You are made to feel like family when you're here.Vegetarian options: The veggie combo is our go-to, and is always incredible.

Gabe Medina: Jebena Cafe isn't just a casual restaurant, it's an experience for your taste buds! We dove headfirst into their "meat combination 2" and emerged utterly delighted. Imagine a vast landscape of flavor – succulent meats, slow-cooked lentils, vibrant salads, and a touch of cooling cheese. Each bite resulted in an explosion of spices that danced on the tongue. But the true star of the show was injera, the ingenious sour fermented flatbread. Unlike any bread you've encountered before, injera's spongy texture and subtle tang were the perfect accompaniment to scoop up every delicious bite. The owner mentioned that all their food is cooked fresh DAILY! Forget forks and knives, this is a joyful, hands-on dining experience! Though, the owner was happy to provide them if desired. And let's not forget the wonderful service. The owner, with genuine warmth, became our guide through this culinary adventure. They patiently explained each dish, its unique flavors, and the perfect way to enjoy it with injera. It felt like being welcomed into their home for a delightful Ethiopian feast. Not to mention, this feast was quite affordable compared to typical Seattle fare. This feast, with sodas and an appetizer came to just over $30.If you're looking for an escape from the ordinary, a place where taste buds awaken and new favorites are discovered, then Jebena Cafe is a must-visit. It's a vibrant celebration of Ethiopian cuisine, served with a generous helping of hospitality. Highly, highly recommended!

Shelly B: I’m a big fan of Ethiopian food and Jebena never disappoints. Cute and cozy inside and the sweetest lady runs it. All the vegetable dishes are vegan so vegans have plenty of choices. My husband loves the meat dishes as well. I’m a fan of the vegetarian combo-SO much food! You’ll most likely be taking some home if you don’t decide to share. I’ve been here many times and I’ll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: All the vegetable dishes are vegan. And all very delicious.

Akash Yeleswarapu: Went for a dinner on a weekend and was able to secure a table without wait although it was quite busy. We were welcomed with a big smile and with pleasant service. Tried qatena and loved it. Crispy like a paper dosa. Doro wot and veggie combo were fresh and delicious. I will rate this as our current favorite Ethiopian restaurant in seattle after Saba got closed. Will visit again!

Delish Ethiopian Cuisine: what do users think?

Herakles Li: Got take out from here for restaurant week which I believe is their veggie and meat combos. The food was pretty good and I generally enjoyed the flavors though I think it didn't hold up super well from the drive home and I don't think anything really blew our mind given the articles written about it. Definitely recommend eating in to avoid soggy injera.

Fayruz: Best Ethiopian cuisine in town😍Loved the service from the cutie merem she gave us the full experience and even thought us some Amharic words🤣😍😁Must try their AWAZE TIBS 🏽The place is nice and cozy but you have to reserve a table to be able to spend more time and enjoy.

Dari B: Stepping into Delish, I was immediately drawn in by its cozy ambience and vibrant decor, setting the stage for a pleasant dining experience. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff making sure every need was met. The food was also delicious - each dish bursting with flavor and generously portioned.I especially enjoyed the pepper appetizer and the injera. Delish not only satisfied my appetite but also offered a welcoming atmosphere. It's a place I'll definitely be returning to.

Amy's Merkato Eritrean & Ethiopian Restaurant and Deli: what do users think?

Harrison Clark: This place is everything! The owners are some of the sweetest people around - they take such pride in what they do and you can taste it in the dishes. Definitely some of the best Ethiopian food in town! The portions are very generous, the service is fantastic, and on top of that, they also have great selection of snacks and goods from East Africa and the middle east that are hard to find! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming - I've had productive work days in here, coffee chats, business meetings. It's just a wonderful spot can't recommend it enough.Vegetarian options: Loved the falafel plate!!

በረከት k: Recommended dishes Vegan

Meagan Pond: Fantastic service, food was very very yummy, big portions, and flavorful! I got the Habesha's Special - which is a meat and veggie combo - and have plenty of leftovers for breakfast and lunch tomorrow! Ethiopian food has been a comfort food lately and the folks at Habesha really pulled through with some good eats & wonderful energy- they were so incredibly nice my whole visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very chill, quiet, calming - it's not too overwhelming and it's got a cute little shop for some misc staples for Ethiopian cuisine & some imported Ethiopian beers. Seems like it would be a really nice place to grab brunch and coffee too! Highly recommend, very good, will definitely be coming back ❤️Vegetarian options: There is a whole vegetarian/vegan section on the menu!Parking: There's a parking lot next to the brewery next door but it doesn't specify that it's just for the brewery so I think it's ok to park there, there's also lots of street parking in the area, which I'm not certain if it's freeWheelchair accessibility: Entryway is wide and a relatively low grade ramp, very open layout, chairs are movable for a wheelchair to pull directly up to a table with ease

Jen Morrisey: This place is delicious! Great Ethiopian combos and falafels, and the injera is gluten free. Really kind staff. So worth trying!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free!

Ms.1111 R: Thank you everyone!XOXOBlessings

Sebastian Madajczyk: .Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians.

Christina Capehart: Absolutely incredible food! We ordered the full vegetarian meal and it was more than enough for two people. Everything was so tasty 🤤 We can’t wait to come back! Chef Cafe: what do users think?

Ethan Cheng: I came to Chef Cafe regularly for 12 years, usually for the veggie combo, lamb tibs, kategna, or foul. Their foul and their gomen wot were the best versions I have ever had of those dishes, and were among the best foods I have eaten in my whole life. I tried to stop there last weekend to get some takeout foul for breakfast, but their phone number was disconnected, and when I got there I saw inside had been gutted. I saw someone walking around inside, maybe doing some demo work, so I knocked on the door and asked what happened. He told me the family who ran it retired. I'm not sure how much he actually knew, though—he may have just been a contractor working for the landlord.I hope the family who ran this place knows how much joy they brought me over the years. I will remember Chef Cafe forever.

Arianna Gardner: MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE! The owner knows my whole family, they ask about my kids and husband every time I’m in there! Telling you I’ve never met such nicer people they give you that warm home feeling! No to mention the FOOD IS AMAZING! I told them I was trying to learn how to cook it at home and the fist time i failed but Chef gave me tips and walked me thru how to make my favorite from there. And for that I will forever be grateful because Lamb Tibbs is my husband’s favorite! They will forever have our business!

Anthony B: I strongly recommend Chef Cafe for excellent Ethiopian food! It had been multiple years since we had eaten here, and because very recently a visiting friend was craving Ethiopian, we visited again. We arrived and were warmly welcomed. We ordered multiple menu entrees for take out. Our order took less than 10 minutes to prepare, and the wait was worth it as every item we ordered was delicious! Each entree also came with generous portions of injera and salad, which was especially good. We will definitely be back soon, and recommend others try Chef Cafe!

Cafe Ibex: what do users think?

Renate Huber: . Shareable plate for 2.Service: Friendly and attentive.Ambiance: Dim setting, music in the background

Daisy Deely: Vegetarian platter: ideal for lentil lovers along with a center serving of salad dressed with what seemed to be a balanced vinaigrette. The coffee? Starbucks wishes it could.Vegetarian options: Veggie combo platter, gluten free injera

Amy [Amori] Piñon: The vegetable combo is absolutely divine. If you run out of injera they will refill it for you. Delicious ginger tea as well.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetable section on the menu but the best option is the vegetable combo so you get a bit of everything!

Y G: One of the best experiences I have had at an Ethiopian restaurant! This is the 3rd time I have booked Ibex for a work celebration. Not a lot of people know about the massive back room that is perfect for a large gathering! The owner gracious and hospitable as always and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They also provided us with all the AV equipment we needed! The food was fresh and delicious - had a lot staff coming back for seconds. We would absolutely come back again!

Imani OB: This wonderful gem of a restaurant will surprise you. Upon entering you are greeted by rich, earthy incense and a bright, golden-colored interior. It is far roomier than you would ever expect from the outside; in addition to the main dining room there was a much larger back area with a stage. They were easily able to accommodate our party of eight. The traditional food was delicious. Six of us ate family style sharing the chicken, lamb and the beef combos on one large injera covered platter. The flavors were all rich and savory and three combos were more than enough food for six people. Our servers were friendly and attentive and when it came time to pay the bill, they easily split it multiple ways. Check out Cafe Ibex, you'll be glad you did!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free injera available.Vegetarian and vegan dishes available.

Abel C: The customer service was satisfactory, but there is only one bartender who oversees the bar and food, so patience is required. The bar patrons were all kind to me as I waited for my food. The food was adequate. I opted for the meat combo at a time when many eateries were closed. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, especially at late hours when you just want to eat something decent.

A Johnson: . Overall, I would go back and I did enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Emiliana Chávez: It was a late night tonight and we were hungry and discovered that this place was open for delivery. Cindy Sarmiento: N n n

Rebekah Murray: My first experience with Ethiopian food. Loved it very much. I got the injera and lamb tibs, the amount of food was amazing for the cost- my friend and I realized too late we should have shared a dish. Very excited to finish my leftovers later and I’d like to come again!Wheelchair accessibility: Mobility aid accessible! Someone pulled the chairs out of the way for us too.

Geng Tan: I tried to find a cafe place to work while waiting for my son in a class at Columbia city. Unfortunately most of the cafe around there closed at 6pm. Luckily I finally found this place, nice and quiet and exotic place, i can quietly work their and drinking coffee. Smell the food there i ended up order a plate to take home. We all love it, pretty good price and nutritional balanced. I am glad i found this place!

Grace C: Kaffa is one of the few coffee shops close to me that's open late. Great place to get some work done and enjoy coffee, cakes, snacks, and a delicious Ethiopian meal. I've never felt rushed to leave, will often stay here for at least 2-3 hours. Warm friendly service. Neighborhood gem.Had a slice of Pistachio ricotta cake - divine!Their mocha was lovely too. I've had their Ethiopian food and its great. Different from other coffee shops bc if you get hungrier there is filling food to get.

Randall: and the sauces/curries were mouth wateringly tasty. Would highly recommended the Doro Wot.To top it off the fixed price option also included cake and macarons which were heavenly. Very tender and rich. Would rate more than 5 stars if I could. You have to come eat here!
