Sanchit Gupta: Took my family for their first Ethiopian restaurant and they loved it. The chicken gravy's were both fantastic.The place was a little empty and had to pay for parking but otherwise the eating experience was great.I highly recommend this place.
Anna Atiagina: Do not order online from this restaurant, especially from Google maps. Just come and dine in or order while there.They have great food and I’ve been a customer when I lived in Capitol Hill pre-Covid. BUT they do not track their online orders, do not see them and not sure if they get money for it.I paid through Google maps and got charged but when I came for pick up they refused to fulfill the order, asking me to cancel. There was no cancel button in Google maps, and I was charged $40. The confirmation email had Queen Sheba logos all over.They were nice and made the order which I appreciate. I give them 4 stars because they should be better about it, and work with Google to remove online ordering as an option all together. It added stress and wait time to my experience.

There's close paid parking, just around the corner.My fiancée and I brought my mom here! Ethiopian food is her favourite and there's no restaurants where she's from in Central B.C, Canada. We even loved the name, it's sentimental to us because my Grandma used to always say "Who do you think you are, the Queen of Sheba?" Hahaha Today we did feel like Queen Sheba, with this fine dining.

The owner mentioned that all their food is cooked fresh DAILY! Forget forks and knives, this is a joyful, hands-on dining experience! Though, the owner was happy to provide them if desired.And let's not forget the wonderful service. The owner, with genuine warmth, became our guide through this culinary adventure. They patiently explained each dish, its unique flavors, and the perfect way to enjoy it with injera. It felt like being welcomed into their home for a delightful Ethiopian feast.Not to mention, this feast was quite affordable compared to typical Seattle fare. This feast, with sodas and an appetizer came to just over $30.If you're looking for an escape from the ordinary, a place where taste buds awaken and new favorites are discovered, then Jebena Cafe is a must-visit. It's a vibrant celebration of Ethiopian cuisine, served with a generous helping of hospitality. Highly, highly recommended!

The food was pretty good and I generally enjoyed the flavors though I think it didn't hold up super well from the drive home and I don't think anything really blew our mind given the articles written about it. Harrison Clark: This place is everything! The owners are some of the sweetest people around - they take such pride in what they do and you can taste it in the dishes. Definitely some of the best Ethiopian food in town! The portions are very generous, the service is fantastic, and on top of that, they also have great selection of snacks and goods from East Africa and the middle east that are hard to find! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming - I've had productive work days in here, coffee chats, business meetings. I got the Habesha's Special - which is a meat and veggie combo - and have plenty of leftovers for breakfast and lunch tomorrow! Seems like it would be a really nice place to grab brunch and coffee too! Ethan Cheng: I came to Chef Cafe regularly for 12 years, usually for the veggie combo, lamb tibs, kategna, or foul. Their foul and their gomen wot were the best versions I have ever had of those dishes, and were among the best foods I have eaten in my whole life. I tried to stop there last weekend to get some takeout foul for breakfast, but their phone number was disconnected, and when I got there I saw inside had been gutted. I saw someone walking around inside, maybe doing some demo work, so I knocked on the door and asked what happened. He told me the family who ran it retired. I'm not sure how much he actually knew, though—he may have just been a contractor working for the landlord.I hope the family who ran this place knows how much joy they brought me over the years. I will remember Chef Cafe forever.

Telling you I’ve never met such nicer people they give you that warm home feeling! No to mention the FOOD IS AMAZING! I told them I was trying to learn how to cook it at home and the fist time i failed but Chef gave me tips and walked me thru how to make my favorite from there. And for that I will forever be grateful because Lamb Tibbs is my husband’s favorite! They will forever have our business!

Y G: One of the best experiences I have had at an Ethiopian restaurant! This is the 3rd time I have booked Ibex for a work celebration. Not a lot of people know about the massive back room that is perfect for a large gathering! The owner gracious and hospitable as always and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They also provided us with all the AV equipment we needed! The food was fresh and delicious - had a lot staff coming back for seconds. We would absolutely come back again!

It is far roomier than you would ever expect from the outside; in addition to the main dining room there was a much larger back area with a stage. They were easily able to accommodate our party of eight. The traditional food was delicious. Six of us ate family style sharing the chicken, lamb and the beef combos on one large injera covered platter. The flavors were all rich and savory and three combos were more than enough food for six people. Our servers were friendly and attentive and when it came time to pay the bill, they easily split it multiple ways. Abel C: The customer service was satisfactory, but there is only one bartender who oversees the bar and food, so patience is required. The bar patrons were all kind to me as I waited for my food. Rebekah Murray: My first experience with Ethiopian food. Loved it very much. I got the injera and lamb tibs, the amount of food was amazing for the cost- my friend and I realized too late we should have shared a dish. Very excited to finish my leftovers later and I’d like to come again!Wheelchair accessibility: Mobility aid accessible! Someone pulled the chairs out of the way for us too.
Geng Tan: I tried to find a cafe place to work while waiting for my son in a class at Columbia city. Unfortunately most of the cafe around there closed at 6pm. Luckily I finally found this place, nice and quiet and exotic place, i can quietly work their and drinking coffee. Smell the food there i ended up order a plate to take home. We all love it, pretty good price and nutritional balanced. I am glad i found this place!
Grace C: Kaffa is one of the few coffee shops close to me that's open late. Great place to get some work done and enjoy coffee, cakes, snacks, and a delicious Ethiopian meal. I've never felt rushed to leave, will often stay here for at least 2-3 hours. Warm friendly service. Neighborhood gem.Had a slice of Pistachio ricotta cake - divine!Their mocha was lovely too. I've had their Ethiopian food and its great. Different from other coffee shops bc if you get hungrier there is filling food to get.
Randall: and the sauces/curries were mouth wateringly tasty. Would highly recommended the Doro Wot.To top it off the fixed price option also included cake and macarons which were heavenly. Very tender and rich. Would rate more than 5 stars if I could. You have to come eat here!
