Kim Homchick: Family emergency brought me to UW Hospital in Seattle with only the clothes on my back. After searching the web, I found Buki and ordered some clothing on line to get me by. Then I called the store explaining my situation. The polite and very kind Sales Rep, named Stacy offered to DELIVER my order to me within a couple of hours. PLUS, when I received the order, she had included a beautiful long jacket for me and a gorgeous gray throw for my husband “because hospital rooms can get chilly”. I just love her and the clothing .. and still can’t get over Stacy at BUKI’s act of kindness. I’ve referred all nurses and doctors I’ve come in contact with to Buki .. they really are very comfortable and well-tailored pieces of clothing I’ve ever bought. Thank you, again.

The top part was too small to rework so she created a tea length skirt and I found the perfect corset top to go with it. I am so grateful I came to her to have it done. She was a very good listener and had good ideas for my dress. I was told I needed to get my wedding dress in for alterations months in advance, but Jenny's team worked with me to create a schedule leading up to my wedding that would match my figure the closest and with clear checkpoints along the way. They were transparent about pricing from the beginning and I couldn't be happier with the outcome; my dress fit like a glove! Highly recommend trusting them with your garments for special occasions, including intricate lacework, bustles, long trains, hems, cups, and more.
Kimberly Baker: The only place I trust to do a quality job on my alterations. They are highly skilled, dependable and very professional in every way. Good clothing is so expensive so you want them to fit properly. I am tall 5’9” have a high waist and smaller in the top than the hips. Having good alterations allows me to buy things a little larger and wear those dresses or tops I wouldn’t ordinarily be able to wear off the rack.

Mellissa S: . Aside from changing the entire look of the gown, the shortened sleeves also caused other fit issues. GLL's remedy was to send me newly cut sleeves but I would need to find someone local to remove the current ones, and attach the new ones that were the correct length. I reached out to Jenny Manes in a panic and after I brought the dress for her and Jessica to review, they were able to not only confirm they could make the necessary alterations but also have everything completed before my wedding date that was two months away. Jenny and Jessica were always kind and helpful whenever I met with them, and I walked home the week of my wedding with a gown that fit perfectly, and had the correct sleeve length. Liam Watson: seemed like the place for what I had in mind, and so I checked it out. It was 110% worth it, and I can confidently say it was the best clothing shopping related experience I’ve ever had. I went in and chatted to who was either the manager or an employee there, to be honest I wasn’t really sure, but I explained what I was looking for and got ready to go try them on. Before that though, he offered to let me try on some other items I was looking at. Given the inventory here being quite high end and priced accordingly, I explained that I couldn’t really afford to spend much more than what the jeans cost, and regardless, he offered to let me try on multiple t shirts and jackets to see how the jeans looked with other pieces. He was so incredibly helpful and let me try on some gorgeous Kapital jackets with the jeans and it made for a very pleasant afternoon. I ended up getting the jeans and they are breaking in very well. Whoever was in the brown v neck sweater and baggy black slacks on Friday afternoon, if you happen to read this, thank you again, you rock and so does Glasswing.
