Maria: My husband and I went to Great Floors in Kent looking for vinyl to replace the flooring of our basement laundry and hallway.We met with Sarah Doohan and immediately liked her. She provided excellent customer service and a lot of guidance regarding materials, costs, colors, durability, you name it!The initial quote was above what we wanted to spend and it was understandable since small projects tend to cost more. Sarah was incredibly dedicated and committed to finding an option that would work for us and did a great job.We love the vinyl we ended up selecting with Sarah's help and it ended up being more affordable than the original quote. We continued to interact with Sarah as if she was a friend because she is so friendly, caring, and committed to her clients.The installation was also very well done. There were some areas with imperfections and the installers, brothers Antonio and Julio, fixed them with the material they put under the vinyl. Seams are invisible. Such a great quality!Additionally, Antonio and Julio are very nice people. Friendly, polite, helpful, and cleaned up everything before leaving.All in all, we highly recommend Great Floors and staff, including installers.We looked at other options before going to Great Floors and couldn't find anything even comparable with the great solution Sarah offered. She did such an excellent job!
Steve Duke: We replaced the carpet in our upstairs bedrooms and stairs as part of a minor remodel. We worked with Wendy at Great Floors and couldn't be happier. Here are a few specifics.1. Our contractor for the remodel was originally going to handle the carpet. When I didn't trust his estimate for how much carpet we needed, I took that part of the job back and went to Wendy. She sent an estimator who did a careful estimate and produced a cutting pattern in advance. In the end, we had the right amount with just a bit to spare.2. Wendy helped me coordinate the carpet with the rest of the remodel by storing the carpet until time to install.3. The installers came on time, shifted the furniture around as needed, fixed floor squeaks, and did a great job installing.I don't know how this could have been better. I'll definitely go back when we replace other carpet.

Julie Reynolds: Every aspect of customer service was fantastic. Within one week, we had a bid and installation complete. They were understanding that time was crucial to us, because we are trying to get the home on the market. Both appointments for the bid and installation were kept to the time stated - no two-hour frame to have to work in. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly, and information was clearly communicated. Installer did a great job, left the home clean and the carpet looks terrific. We would definitely use them again.

Sarah Devlin: I had an amazing experience with Dallas Watson Flooring. I've never received faster response times to my questions and emails. Laura came to do the measurements and had a quote to me the same day. I was able to get on their schedule in one week and they worked around my son's spring break schedule. I thought my original 1926 hardwoods were going to be toast but they worked their magic and they turned out absolutely stunning.

After exploring our options, visiting many flooring stores, and reading reviews, we decided to use Dallas Watson Flooring. We had a mix of hardwood and carpet installed. We were totally impressed with the personable individuals, knowledge of product, and ease of communication with the sales representative, scheduling manager, and site supervisor. They were flexible and understanding of our needs and the constraints of an older home. We will use them for any future flooring.
George Carey: Owning several condominium rental units, we have had 3 floor replacements due to water leaks from sink ovrflows, washing machine overflows and a failed sink valve. We went with Dallas Watson on the first instance and have worked with them since. They have been very responsive in each case with recomendations on materials, competitive quotes and excellent workmanship. Rebecca Sliter: Flooring America was a delight to work with on adding flooring to a new set of stairs in my old home. They were creative about working through some challenges and incredibly responsive throughout the planning phase. The install was fast and smooth.

Kathryn Aguirre: Water damage to our kitchen floor brought us to Flooring America Seattle, via our insurance State Farm. Our experience was pretty darn good, considering the stress and lack of communication with State Farm. Michelle with Flooring America was doing all she could to make this a good experience for us, she did a lot of the outreach, negotiation and multiple, frustrating follow ups with the insurance. This was super helpful. Masha, Michelle and CJ were great to work with. The two guys who actually installed the floors were just as wonderful. They were conscious of all the things and were just nice- I felt comfortable with them in my home. The work they did was immaculate and we are in love with our floors!
Lesley Okura: This has been a year long process. When the damage first occurred our consultant give us two options: replace or wait and refinish. We went for the long-term option since we were not in any time constraints and it worked out very well. Very professional, results more than expected. Need a little more follow up with an issue not related to the job, but resulting damage from the moving company. Still give them an A+
Petra Smith: We highly recommend Flooring America. We have had the need to work with them twice in 3 years due to two different water leaks that damaged our Brazilian cherry hardwood floors. Water damage to hardwoods is never fun!In 2016, our first flooring problem required us to have all of our hardwoods refinished. Flooring America was great. They provided good learning so we knew what to expect, handled all the details associated with moving furniture and appliances in and out and getting us back in to our home as quickly as possible. All their people were knowledgeable, responsive and pleasant to work with.In 2019, our second flooring problem required that we have all of our Brazilian cherry hardwoods ripped out and replaced. This was a major job and much more logistically complex than just the refinishing project in 2016.Again, Flooring America was great to work with. From assessment, project planning, procurement of the new wood, demolition of the old floors, install, refinishing, movers, finishing work – Flooring America was there and lead us through the process. They managed the sub-specialty craftsmen and partnered really well with our tradesmen who were doing a few other things at the same time.Both of these jobs involved working with our home owners insurance adjuster. Flooring America was a strong partner in this regard. They dealt with the submission of information, answering of questions and really acted as our advocate to get the repairs done the way we thought was best.

Jim Clouse: We purchased our carpet from Seattle Style Flooring a few years ago. We’ve been super happy with it. We had a major pet accident that one carpet cleaner didn’t even attempt to clean and said we’d need to replace it. I called Scott at Seattle Style to discuss replacement. He could have had an easy sell, but instead he refuted the claim by the carpet cleaner and told me about the merits of this carpet and why it is incredibly difficult to stain. He recommended a different cleaning business who came out and was able to get the carpet clean with no residual stains.Quality carpet, and honest and quality service.

The installation was done by real craftsmen in 2 days. The price was less than we expected. I can't think of a good reason to buy carpet elsewhere.

Nicole: Vogel's carpet and flooring did a wonderful job installing my carpet. Originally, when it was installed there was a mistake, and pet stain paint wasn't applied. when I reached out to address my concern, they responded quickly and fairly with how they handled the situation. They worked at my convenience and treated my furniture and house with care with the original installation and the correction. I would 100% use them again and actually plan to because I need new carpet upstairs too! The carpet is good quality and they gave me the option of ordering carpet for upstairs and downstairs at the same time or separately. I chose separately because we are a busy family and need to find time to organize before we can have the upstairs done. I am looking forward to working with them again.

The project scope was to replace the entire carpeted 2nd and 3rd floors, including the full flights of carpeted stairs to engineered hardwood floors. Our timeline was tight before the move-in date but they were able to accommodate. There were some unforeseen subfloors and fireplace issues that needed to be addressed but Bella’s did a fantastic job resolving them. Andre is an amazing project manager with great communication skills and attention to detail. He and his team don’t cut corners and do everything properly. I would highly recommend working with this company.

Michael McGloin: It is easy to write a 5 star review for a contractor when everything goes smoothly and a job gets done quickly and professionally. This was not our experience with Bella Flooring. A small kitchen tile project took almost two years to complete. First there were manufacturing delays, then there were issues with defective tiles. Repair efforts failed and on and on. Yet, I could not be happier with the experience we had with Bella Flooring. Throughout the process they were a pleasure to deal with. They communicated clearly, did exceptional work with great attention to detail and took pride in making sure the job was done to their high standards. I would never work with another company on a flooring project in Seattle!

Mahalie Stackpole: We've done flooring projects in multiple Seattle neighborhoods with different contractors, including some 'big guys' and our experience with Andre at Bella's was absolutely THE BEST.We had a very tricky 1940s basement with old uneven concrete stairs and they had no problem leveling, adjusting the substrate. Even fixed the entry way and threshold due to slope adjustments. To make it more fun, we live out of town and were not available for frequent site visits. They worked quickly, professionally and inspired confidence. Asked great questions, solved tricky areas independently. Excellent communication during install. Clear bids, and price was as quoted.We got a lower bid but I know from experience that bid was not realistic or comprehensive. Sometimes it pays to go with the local pros.

We are very happy with the finish work and it looks beautiful.

We live close to the shop so stopped in one day and were so happy with their knowledge and selection of custom stair runner options. They came to our house within a few days to take all of the measurements, and when our rug was finished, came out the next day to install. It looks great, our installer did a great job and we’ll definitely use them again!

I wanted a local, small business and this was perfect. They were responsive to an initial e-mail inquiry and were helpful in choosing the right floor for my home. Luis came out for a very efficient measurement and their team started soon after. Liliana kept me updated on progress and coordinated for payment. The site was kept tidy and it was cleaned up well at the conclusion of the work. I am enjoying my new floors and have received many compliments on the difference it makes in the space.
Rich Ahearn: Having undertaken remodels of several homes we have experienced vast differences in the quality of services by different contractors. Fortunately for us, Luis and Liliana are among the most honest, most competent and most fair professionals we have ever had the pleasure of working with. They also happen to be personally delightful!Specifically, as a result of defective cork from the manufacturer,we observed buckling following installation in a large area of our basement. Upon his inspection, Luis agreed to replace the entire flooring at no additional cost to us. Thanks to his integrity and professionalism, we are now enjoying a lovely cork floor.In sum, if you are looking for new flooring, we are certain the Luis and Lilliana will meet or exceed your highest expectations.
Carrie Lehner: We had a contractor install LVD in our entire cottage and it was poorly installed because they didn’t level the floors as promised. When we called Liliana and Luis, the floor was buckling after just three weeks. Luis came out to assess what could be done and went over the options with us from least to most expensive and didn’t pressure us to spend more money. In fact, he suggested we start by seeing how much of the flooring they could salvage when they pulled it out. We ended up only needing to replace a fraction of the flooring, and they leveled the floors and reinstalled it in just a couple days. They were truly a treat to work with, and their installers Luis and Omar did a really nice job. They excel at communication thanks to Liliana! We highly recommend this business.

Our flooring supplier called to tell us that he could no longer get the wood flooring we needed He gave us the name of a substitute product and asked us to check it out locally and call him back. So we located Mac's Flooring and Angie, the owner. We told her we were in love with the original product -- she took about 30 seconds to say "That's no problem". She found the original, gave us a BETTER price by far, and is having it delivered all the way to Tahoe, still at a LARGE SAVINGS. Went from a bad day to a GREAT DAY!!
