Andrew Gellert: I was travelling on Holidays from Australia and chose Galvin to conduct a rental. Got a checkout with CFI Amber and then rented a 172 the next day for a flight to Friday Harbour. The team at Galvin sure helped me achieve the mission. Folk on the front desk are definitely worth a mention as they were super helpful and cheerful along the way. Shout out to Cameron and Johnny. KBFI is no easy place to fly from, so it takes preparation on the pilot/renter to arrive with a good level of knowledge to the local procedures. Galvin ensured I had the rest of the requisite info and training. Thanks a bunch guys👍

Granted, 5 years of life isn't that great of a sample size, but she's been to Disney Land so at least we know her bar is high.The price was very reasonable for what you get and I'd argue that it's one of those things that everyone should try at least once.

Erick Bloomquist: I went flying with the instructor James for my birthday, and the experience was incredible. I did the "Intro to Flying" experience which let me take control of the plane as well, and I got plenty of flight time. The experience is nothing like a commercial flight, and I think its worthy of everyone's bucket list. I also cannot overstate how amazing James was, he made all the smallest technical things entertaining, and also asked us how intense of an experience we want. He could keep it very tame, or make it an experience like a roller coaster

Steven Lessard: I got my Private Pilot's License at RFS after moving here from out of state. I like RFS a lot; they've got lots of planes and a thorough curriculum. It can be tough to book a plane at good hours the week of, but if you don't mind early AM/late PM or booking a month ahead of time, scheduling won't be an issue. My flight instructor was Elliot Goldman and I 100% recommend flying with him if he's available. He focuses on really teaching the material, not just "pass the test".
Danny: I did my IPC and CMEL addon with RFS. They are incredibly professional, friendly, helpful, and most importantly, a safe operation. All of the instructors I flew with were top-notch!

Daniel Lowe: Excellent flight training, truly THE Cirrus Training Experts! I completed their 21 day nothing to PPL course and passed my check ride all inside 6 weeks, then rolled right on to my Instrument course. That took another 14 days over 3 weeks with a checkride passed first time at the end. Price agreed up front, books and materials provided - I did my part and they did theirs. Flying around the Pacific Northwest was breathtaking. Highly recommend.

冰川犬: Great tour! Very exciting for a plane fan, and spectacular view on Seattle and Snoqualmie waterfall! The captain is also very warm and friendly.
Tim Linnell: This was a late booking on a whim, and there were some issues with timing due to a problem with the booking site. They were able to squeeze me in, and it was a great flight round the sights of Seattle, with a word-perfect and very slick commentary delivered by the pilot, who's also a great guy. Really enjoyable, very inexpensive for what you get, and just opposite the Museum of Flight which makes for a great combined day out.
Rama Jayanthi: I did a session on spin recovery training. What a wonderful experience. I would recommend it highly to all private pilots, especially newer ones like me!
Dan Davis: We spent time before the flight getting to know the Cessna 172 aircraft and what is done on a preflight inspection. He did the heavy lifting of course with take off and landing but I was able to take the controls for about 20 minutes. It was completely amazing feeling that I hope to duplicate with more lessons. Thank you for a very memorable day!

Alex Budchanin: As an alternative way to get to downtown Seattle, we used a seaplane from Kenmore to downtown Seattle, and it only cost $35 one way. The most important thing is the view from the window. You will see a floating bridge, Husky Stadium and land on Lake Union. The trip is short, but worth it! Highly recommend trying Kenmore Air!

Simon Butler: Interesting little field to visit with some challenging approaches in both ends. They have fuel and a really nice little FBO/pilot lounge. I wasn't expecting such a nice pilot lounge on site, and the people were very friendly.

We have some experience in small planes and he explained everything about the flight providing a great narrative of the scenic Seattle. We did the 20 minute trip which was enough to see the city. The only “issue” we had was finding the meeting location from the Google directions. A map on the website would have been better that the Google maps directions. It doesn’t deter us frond giving a great review. Will do it again next time in Seattle.

Fog Weaver: This was an amazing experience! I am terrified of flying and the sea, but all my anxiety disappeared the minute we got into the plane. The pilot was very nice and made me feel comfortable the whole time; he even waited for us as we got there a litlle bit late because I got lost and couldn't find the place. The view of Seattle and its surroundings from above was absolutely beautiful. I am not so scared of flying anymore and my kid loved it so much that now wants to be a pilot lol.

Hilary Sinclair: We loved the seaplane tour. It's a unique way to see the city and the surrounding neighborhoods from a viewpoint that is rare. Very cool experience and the pilot was great in pointing out different things/attractions down below that maybe we'd never see or know about.

Simon Butler: Just started renting from this FBO. They have a nice facility, and a very nice fleet of updated aircraft. There's not a lot of front desk staff, but once your checked out, it's all pretty autonomous, so that's ok.

He was very clear and professional, also an awesome tour guide of the Seattle area. He told us everything that was happening in regards to elevation gain to safety. I will come back again!

Besides having a great CFI the 172 that we used was really really nice! Highly recommend this place!!!
Andrey Tsarenko: This place is top notch!. I went for my private pilot here part 141 and graduated at 47 hours. Instructors are the best in the NW. If you want to rent a plane that is newer than 1970 this is the place, or if you want to learn to fly thats a way to go.
