Sarah Weaver: YN3 Lee was so kind and professional when I needed a new CAC. It was great to meet him and he gave me an awesome first impression of this base.
Robert Sloan: Got a tour years ago with my cub scout pack, got to board the melon cutter and a few smaller skifs. Got to tour the main HQ room with all the computers and the coast guard members were very informative and cool. Also got to pose with a .50 cal deck mounted gun. Such an awesome experience.
Nick Y: Had to get a new CAC here. Like others, parking is horrible. You can't find a spot and will have to wait until someone leaves. Plan accordingly if you need to make any type of appointment here. Also be careful as the roads are narrow as well. CAC process was pretty painless and staff were nice. Buildings are super old and finding your way can be challenging.

Marlo Holloway: I just finished taking by Basic Fire Fighting course with Mitags for my job with WSF. I cannot say enough good things about the instructors.I was so impressed when I first entered the building, there are so many classrooms and classes offered here for Mariners.Mike our classroom Instructor has so much experience and knowledge and he brings that into the classroom. You could tell that he really wanted you to be successful.Piper our practical hands on skills instructor was also top notch. He is such an asset to Mitags. He and the other instructors really made us feel like we could "do hard things". The group of 15 I went through the class with were all novices and we all did really well. Thank you Mitags for the service you provide to mariners in the Seattle area and beyond.LOVED IT!!!!

Leslie Milligan: Arrived at 10am on Thursday. The waiting room was busy, but not overly crowded. My wait was about 2 hours without an appointment. People with appointments were in and out very quickly, so clearly that was the way to do it. I was so impressed with the men working in the reception area. They treated everyone politely, with respect and kept everything moving well. No one was yelled at, no chaos, all conversations were conducted at normal speaking levels. Bravo to the government employees working there today and every day.
