I was so nervous trying to plan the viewing and cremation for my Mom, but from the first time I contacted Melissa she made me feel comfortable. She helped guide me and my family through the process with so much care and compassion. Melissa has truly found her calling. It takes a special person to be able to do what she does and she does it with so much grace.She was available at all times to answer any questions that I had. Mina Morgan: there, made everything more bearable.We called Melissa within an hour of my mom passing and she was there within 30 minutes. We had adorned my mother's body with flowers and Melissa carefully placed each flower back onto my mom's body, once she moved it to the gurney.We were able to view my mom's body a week after she passed and she was dressed in the clothes I had provided them.

Saurabh Agrawal: Pat Barton and Steven Barton are the kindest and most helpful people I have met. When we needed them, they supported us in a timely manner. Pat picked up our phone calls on weekend, arranged for a cremation first thing Monday, cleared all the paperwork in a timely manner, as promised. She provided all relevant documentation including ordering the death certificate. Steve Barton did a wonderful job in arranging the witnesses cremation, provided us extra 30 minutes before and did not rush us towards the end. There were no hidden charges in the bill. Thank you Pat and Steven. Our family is forever grateful for your efforts.

After the death of my mother a week ago, I decided to turn to Barton Funeral Service again. The paperwork was in their office in Kirkland, where I met Jason. Jason organized everything exactly as I wanted. He was very attentive to details. The whole ceremony was pleasant to me and my family. I highly recommend Barton Family Funeral Service!

They took care of everything so I could focus on my the people I love.In the year prior to my relative's passing, I had consulted with Jason twice. He was patient and clear about. Upon my loved one's passing, Pat walk me through the actual process and it was exactly as Jason had explained. They had good selection of casket at reasonable cost. They accommodated our request. The casket arrived within a day of ordering. The body was ready for burial one day after the disposition authorization came through.On the day of the viewing and graveside service. Everything was ready for us. The space was peaceful. Because of the pandemic, we only had 4 pall bearers. Steve helped at the cemetery all way through the lowering of the casket.

Death is never easy to deal with, especially when lawyers and entitled estranged family members are involved.The Emmick family is empathetic, compassionate and professional. As the sole executor of the estate, I shopped around several funeral homes, but Emmick's compassion and understanding was what sold me.I had a family member pass away in January but due to familial conflict, I was unable to bury them until March. The Emmick family went above and beyond their call of service during this time and were available to talk to my attorneys and take phone calls at all hours of the day.The Emmick family is honest, reliable and kind which really helped with the grieving process. Desiree was a master at taking an old photo and turning it into a stunning portrait. My question was answered quickly, and professionally, and I was treated like they had all the time in the world. Even with the stress they're under, People's Memorial are great to work with.
shirley oberg: Sadly I have had to use the services of Peoples Memorial twice in the last year. First my husband and then my son. Without the wonderful people at peoples memorial I am not sure how I would have handled all the details. There were KIND and very helpful. She was very knowledgeable in all of the services provided. Bailey provided useful information before I had to ask. And answered my repeated questions with patience. The entire "ordeal" was taken care of with little to do on my part. If I wasn't sure of an answer or a choice, Bailey was reassuring that nothing had to happen immediately. She also made the process very easy and smooth despite the short time frame we had to work with.Alice, I believe is her name, was also very respectful and just so patient with us.It was my first experience handling funeral arrangements, and while a difficult task to undertake, the support provided by Butterworth Funeral Home made it less overwhelming.

Neil Mandelin: Full transparency, I worked for this company for over fifteen years. However, not this specific location. I left the company a year ago. Okay so, having said that, the staff here have always been wonderful and the facility and cemetery are top notch. The staff here truly care about the families they serve. I mean that. Are the perfect? Is anyone perfect?... The answer is no, right? However, having been behind the scenes, they regularly go above and beyond at Forest Lawn for the families they serve. In my opinion, they do all of that because the ultimate compliment of seeing the families they serve get the closure they need, is far above the adulation of others or even more mundane incentives like wages. What I'm trying to say is, the staff at forest lawn care! Thanks for what you do! Highly recommended!

Ken Schaffer: My experience with Forrest lawn and their staff was truly amazing. The experience with my moms passing started on a very bumpy ride. Her insurance for funeral expenses was out of Arizona and the prices for services are very different up in the Northwest. The first funeral services were set up at a different place, but they denied it due to the difference in cost. Forrest lawn stepped in and took over, and did a great job making it a seamless transition. We also had issues with the death certificate but Cassandra stepped in and resolved and expedited getting the certificate from the hospital. Cassandra has also helped me with arrangments for the urn and been there for me thru the whole process
