Blue Highway Games: what do users think?

C J: I have been playing MTG here on Mondays for months and can’t imagine playing anywhere else! The staff is amazingly helpful and kind, they have a great selection of games, and the clientele is incredible too. I love Blue Highway and recommend it to everyone I know!

Emily White: Everything a board game store should be. Fantastic selection of board games and puzzles. They also sell puzzle books, kites, brain teasers, and Magic cards. Staff is helpful but not pushy.

Michelle Graham: One of my favorite places to play and buy games. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have an amazing selection of new and used games and a great check out library. Highly recommend if you love board games, Pokémon or puzzles.

Kayla Stinson: I felt like I was talking to a friend when I was in there. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything or rush. All the games and cards were a great cost- it's a great place to get pokemon cards too. The staff were super friendly and helpful and you can talk with them like actual people unlike places in a large business chain. Highly recommend if not for great game selection then for human connection!

Joel: They have a wide selection not just of new boardgames, but used boardgames for those with a sensitive wallet. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and welcome in gamers of all levels.

Wan L: My nerdy husband loves board games so I found this place and visited during this trip. In S.Korea the playing places are common, but offline stores are rare. I love that people in that area have this kind of warm and playful place. He is not very good at English, but he talked to staff and understood which I didn’t. 🤣🤣 lovely overall.

Miles Greb: Clean, nice, inviting, and excellent hosts for events.

Adam Woodworth: I love this shop. It's owners are fantastic people and have hosted some fantastic events. There is a kind and generous community here. Visit, buy things, show support for this community.

Chase Schottler: Commander night on Wednesdays is always a treat. They give out prize packs just for attending which is very cool.

Ian Witherby: Super friendly staff and great selection of games! Received some excellent reviews. Nice comics selection at a variety of price points. Local artists represented prominently. Well go back!

ELIZUR2000: Good place to play, share and have fun!

JJ B: Been running a weekly board game night here for about a year. Their bench tables are big enough for games like Scythe or ROOT, but I would call and make a reservation if you plan on having 6+ people. Their smaller tables work for Codenames, Splendor, or similarly light 2-4 player games.Selection of games is fine, we always bring our own copies so not much to say on that.Staff is always chill. Easy to converse with and you never feel like you’re bothering them.Food is limited to panini press type stuff, but drinks are solid and there’s plenty of non-alcoholic options for those not interested in beer or wine.Pinball machines always seem to be working, but that’s not really why we go.Overall strongly recommend for board game + TTRPG groups.

Adam S: Absolutely delightful

jade: was tiny , but good experience

Nur-E-Elahi Shonchoy: They have board games, vhs, pin ball and grilled cheese!

Olivia Jenkins: If you like pinball machines and and a well lit open floor plan. This is a really good spot for a casual chill with friends. There is a small playable board game library. If you’re trying to play board games, I would not come here. The bar sells beer soda and some small snacks. It seems like more of a hang out than a Gaymer spot in truth. There are around 10 picnic bench style tables. I was brought on a date here, and I thought it was very cute but I would not go here just to play games.

Jason Lang: Cool place

Merihim Solomon: Pin Ball is cool

Shawn Jones: Always full of friendly people, and the staff is great.

Mark Pope: Great game and beer selection. Helpful staff.

Kevin Lynch: for one of their community nights. I was so excited to find people playing Food Chain Magnate, one of my favorite games. Great way to meet new people with similar interests. The name has changed to Ray Gun Lounge.

Game Gurus: what do users think?

Zee: We had such an amazing experience at this place. You can tell the guy behind the counter knows his stuff. He was super friendly and helpful about the items we wanted/needed. We got a PS2, games, and a couple of accessories for it.There was a bit of a hiccup with the PS2 power supply that we bought, but the guy was more than happy to replace the power adapter. We were told that he double checks the hardware that he gets in, which I don’t doubt! It was just a happenstance that we got a faulty power cord.Thank you!!

Rodrigo Tintor: Great shop, good prices and great variety.

Peter Westergaard: Owner was very helpful and the shop had a great selection. Definitely will stop by again.

Christopher Melvin: Most helpful and kind and courteous

Ev Swimmer: Friendly and nice game knowledge, so happy it's right up the road

Andy Brown: Very friendly staff and a great selection of old school games! Definitely check it out if you like collecting physical copies. Had a solid collection of consoles and peripherals as well such as guitar hero/rock band controllers. Found an old long box PS1 game that I used to play as a kid and picked it up at a very fair price for the condition! Friend also came with me and found a game he had been looking for on the DS.

Marco Morcote: This is an awesome shop! Stopped by to pick up a beautiful metallic blue DSi, and had fun chatting with Maitreya, who was really knowledgeable about consoles, games, and repair questions.Great game and console selection, fair prices, and they even have some repair related items for handhelds.Seeing the old console demo kiosks they have really transported me back to the 2000s 🤯

Kenneth Bryant: Great deal

Brian Stockton: Super great values, the staff was friendly and informative about our decisions. So many options for so many platforms as well. Will be playing games with the kids and then bringing games back and getting new ones.

L Nguyen: Amazing inventory, lots of video game stock with reasonable pricing!

Maitreya Andrews: Small store, but wow is it packed.

shayan abdoli: The service there was great, some stuff I saw brought me nostalgia, especially the PS2 I bought, the console is a bit scratched but I ain’t the type that complains about it. Overall great experience. 10/10, visit this place

Karen Diane Sears: Nor any problems returning games I

Kipp Gallagher: Very friendly and helpful staff.

Mike Edmonds: Really great collection of every childhood title I was trying to find. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable.

Mox Boarding House: what do users think?

Ben Parkhurst: Great place to grab food and try a new boardgame. I've been going for years and it's always a fun time!

Nathaniel Hynes: Great store with a wide variety of products and good food.I usually go in to buy supplies for my model painting hobby. They are always very helpful with any question I might have about any of the games I'm purchasing supplies for. They host events every week with a calendar on their website.

Tanya Gelli: Gamers paradise. Perfect place to learn new games!

David Hallowell, PhD: , really fun ambiance, unbeatable game selection & try-before-you-buy setup. What more could you ask for? Our favorite quality is the emphasis on inclusive culture for everyone. Mox Boarding House is a regional institution.

Michael Choe: Great place to gather with friend to play some board games. They got pretty much everything here. Good times!

Zaza Love: Place where while having a snack, coffee, hot chocolate, various drinks, you can play board games! With your own games, those loaned to you or those you can buy on site. A lot of choices. The tables are large and allow you to play while drinking or eating. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Around midday there are fewer people than in the afternoon because it's a bit noisy when the games rooms are full.I especially recommend it for rainy days. This place is also made for coming and playing as a family with children. There are games for all ages.

Math 'n' Stuff: what do users think?

Kristi Boes:

Meg Gayman: This store is fantastic!! From the game library where the staff has been brilliant at giving wonderful suggestions, to the math and science resources and products, to their great Lego inventory, this is my family's favorite store in Seattle. Staff is always friendly and helpful, the pokemon trading card game on Saturday has been fun for my son to join.

Julie Kientz: . Their customer service is always really great as well. Please shop local!

K Riffell: Total gem of a place! My kids get so excited about math and science when they walk into the store.

Elizabeth Gentile: Wonderful place for finding that game, puzzle, craft. Engaging summer camps too.

S Larson: Fantastic local gem for board games, Legos & building toys, science toys, the list goes on! Customer service can't be beat, too.

Richie Magpayo: . There's a half wall of jigsaw puzzles for the adults and board games galore. As a parent of an elementary grade schooler, I love that the store has racks and racks of workbooks to supplement class learning. Parents who home school will love the materials the store has for sale.Prices are reasonable and competitive vs online stores and big box retailers. They have a reward system for repeat customers

Shannon 0: . Super appreciate them keeping the community safe with masking, too - helps my immunocompromised family feel more comfortable. They provide masks so it's not an inconvenience to remember!Cannot recommend this store enough! Shop local! Shop family owned!

Christina Green: We come here anytime we need a gift for anyone, from newborns to grandparents 😁the staff is so knowledgeable and we also appreciate their commitment to safety. We’re happy to wear a mask to help keep staff safe!

Al's Music Video & Games: what do users think?

Cedar Russell: Amazing selection of all kinds of media, fairly and knowledgeably priced. Staff is happy to talk about any number of subjects and answer any questions. A fun place to spend time, and I always walk away with something cool!

Chris Huffstetler: We came for video game music and left with video game music! Awesome selection, only complaint is the narrow aisles.

Nirvana Enyo: Absolutely love this store great for gamers and movies and music lovers

Keith Fiorino: Al’s is life.Spotify - Jimmi Stone

A: Great place for repairs and mods. The technician saved my wavebird controller from extensive corrosion and now it's like new. They also modded my GameCube to play games from an SD card.sounds like the person who did this left but Al's still does some repairs

David Davidson: Went here with my father, who was pleased with the selection of music, and my brother, who was pleased with the games. My dad said when he lived here the store wasn't nearly as good as in his day, so it's neat that they've improved so much

James Clarendon: 5 stars for the video game repair service. In October I brought my OG Xbox in for repair. My self-executed mod had expired after 7+ years and the machine wasn't booting. The team at Al's took all my nitpicky info down accurately and sent me a copy of my repair form. Alejandro, the technician who did the work for me, was very knowledgable, understood the importance of the device to me, and explained the situation. They provided me a shortcut fix that could get me back up and running, but when I asked about other options they were happy to explain different options. Their good communication and subject mater expertise earned my trust and convinced me to go forward with an improved modification. There was no way in hell that I was going to spend many hours re-ripping all of my collection off original discs so they gave me step-by-step guidance for how to back up my hard disk before I returned the device for the upgrade. When the mod was completed, they again walked me through how to restore all of my backed up content. As a result I had a better modded device and all of my original data intact. They charged a fair amount for the work and research required.Again, I was grateful to Alejandro for their technical and communication skills.Everyone can grow, and I do have some constructive feedback: it would be good if Al's could tell me where in the queue my device was for repairs. I expect this could make some customers nervous. If they could see how many were ahead of them, it could set expectations and soothe them. I like to think I was more patient.I like to think that.

Ashtonmo_2002: Absolutely great this store is the best well rounded for games movies and audio of almost every format! The employees are very nice and the prices are great couldn't be any more happy with them, definitely worth the visit!

slambamwam: Great selection and prices! One of my favorite places in the U District.

Ryan ABXY (Ryan Gilbert Arnold): Chill staff and best selection of used Blu-Rays I've seen from a place that doesn't have "video" in their name.Glad I stopped in while visiting from Portland, 3 movies for $11.99 and 2 of them still had a working digital code, rock on.

Evan Rodgers: Great vibe, systems are a bit expensive but they had some harder to find stuff.

The staff is super helpful and accommodating to people that want to learn and play. Dan and Irene are especially friendly and like to learn about games they are new to from customers, making it a real community.

David Sargent: Love this place! Dan and Irene are always helpful, and make time to help whenever the time is available!

Marcus DuVall: Great store, great selection, fantastic staff especially Dan & Irene who work hard to make sure product arrives on time and events go smooth

Erica Pettit: I come into Uncles regularly for Pokemon events. The option to buy/sell singles for Pokemon and other card games has been very handy for picking up certain cards and the occasional impulse buy when someone has sold something cool, I know they work hard to make sure pricing is fair and consistent. Everyone on staff is very knowledgeable and they have been very helpful when I have been looking at picking up other games as well, particularly when I was gift hunting with recommendations that worked out really well

Amos Chan: The community here is so friendly and great. It is always a pleasure to play in the many events that are hosted every week.

Someer Jewyi: They have a very nice collection of pokemon and magic singles. I sold a few high value pokemon cards and had a smooth and quick experience.

Epple Bloom: Our favorite local game shop! Great environment and super welcoming to new players.

Michael Dickerson: Uncles games in Redmond has quickly become our favorite shop to frequent for card games. We come weekly and the atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful. Over the last few months the community has been growing and we definitely encourage everyone to check them out.

Shaik Yaseen: pretty cool lots of toys and a fun experiance

John S: A Seattle institution with a good variety of games and toys for all ages. Amazing selection of puzzles.

Esmerelda S: We had the pleasure of meeting Jim, he was amazing. He had some great recommendations for our 2 year old son. Overall it was a great visit and we left with tons of new toys for our baby boy.10/10 would recommend. Thanks, Jim!

Reenvision LLC: A Quaint Treasure Trove of Unique Toys and CollectiblesRating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently had the pleasure of visiting Magic Mouse Toys during my trip to the city, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into this charming store, I was captivated by its cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. It's a true gem for toy enthusiasts and collectors alike. The selection of toys and collectibles at Magic Mouse Toys is simply unparalleled. I was delighted to find a wide array of unique and hard-to-find items that you wouldn't typically come across in mainstream stores. It's a haven for those seeking something out of the ordinary. One of the standout features of Magic Mouse Toys is their attention to detail in creating an immersive shopping experience. The store has undergone a recent renovation, and their old basement has been transformed into an absolute delight. It's amazing how they've managed to make the basement even more appealing than the first floor. The ambiance down there adds an extra layer of excitement and discovery to the whole experience. While some items at Magic Mouse Toys may be priced on the higher end, it's important to remember that you're in the heart of the city. Tourists flock to this area, and it's understandable that the prices reflect the demand. Besides, the unique and exceptional quality of the products justifies the investment. If you're looking for a truly special gift or a one-of-a-kind addition to your collection, this is the place to find it.The staff at Magic Mouse Toys deserve a special mention as well. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their products. They were more than happy to assist and provide insights into the different toys and collectibles, making the entire shopping experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion, Magic Mouse Toys is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone with an appreciation for toys and collectibles. Its quaint charm, unique offerings, and enchanting basement make it a must-visit destination. Embrace the experience and let your inner child run wild. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for the privilege—it's totally worth it!

Kelly Tse: This place is a goldmine of all things Pokémon! My fiance and I actually here for a Summoners War meetup and ended up buying a bunch of Pokemon cards. The staff and other patrons were so helpful and friendly! I adore this shrine to my childhood and would love to visit again!

Joshua Mason: Good prices, for singles it’s within a dollar of what it would be on TCG player so definitely worth a stop if you wanna pick up some stuff for your collection. Good place to sit down and play as well with a wide sitting area. Out of all the places I’ve been too this one is top 10 for card stores. Seems very family friendly as well.

Michael Huynh: This was a fun place to be in. Everything is clean and organized. It definitely brings me back to my childhood. Very nostalgic!

Dennis DeBell: Really great patient staff, super knowledgeable and friendly, good selection and awesome atmosphere! Can’t recommend this enough

Scott Hoogerwerf: Great selection and amazing staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Hsu, Leo 徐黎明 “LiMing”: Although there are so many children here to play card games after school and on weekends, many parents will drive their children to the class to learn how to play better.

Philman Yeung: This place is more than a store, its a community! Fair prices, great caring staff and people.

Kyle Menard: I was randomly searching card shops on Google Maps and had come across this shop. As I was driving by, it was impossible to miss. Let's just say it's on my way home from work. I stop here quite frequently now as I've been building my collections, and the prices, selection, care, and vibes are all worth a 5-star review. Dedicated to the Pokémon world and always looking for the next Pokémon venture. Not only are there cards and collectible, but there are games happening practically all day long whether with friends or others. You can go in and ether to play the game or pick up some sweet cards. Highly recommend the shop!

Thomas Lee: If you're out of town and looking to buy pokemon cards close to tcgplayer prices, these guys are pretty cool. Their inventory is probably the best I've seen. Shoutout to Junior and Andy for being chill and helpful completing my master set. They even offered me their deck to play with in their weekly tourney since I'm out of town. Sorry I couldn't make it back for the event, will make sure to put it in my agenda next time. Thanks guys.

Kenton Keefe: Amazing place for competition and collecting cards and have cards for fair and affordable prices

William Brown: Best Ever !!!!!!

Timothy Ford: My go-to for anything pokemon in the area.

Yakult Pepper: This Place Is Amazing! Its Very Good For People Who Like Pokemon + The Employee's Are Amazing And Kind!

matthew tabbert: Had to sell a bunch of games. Kind of hurt. But you have to do.

Raijin SL: Outstanding retro store. Kelsey and her team always go above and beyond to help and try to help you hunt down those old hidden gems. Store also offers a good selection of new releases too.

Rodrigo Tintor: I love this store, they have tons of systems and games, the people here are great and helpful, all that you need for your retro gamer needs and some more modern too as they carry new Switch/Xbox/PS5 game either. Just a heads up for people trying to sell games here, this type of stores offers a percentage of the "market price" of games so you always get less that if you sell it on eBay, is just more convenient and faster to sell your stuff, so please remember that for a $50 game you will be getting not more than $25, don't get mad for that, there is a risk associated to buy and selling games that they take.

Yagyū: Awesome place with lots of products and games !!

Nick Jenner: Learned about this place from the Metal Jesus YouTube channel. Solid selection, organized store, probably the most complete used video game store I've been to

Alex Potter: Their biggest location. Lots of retro games and consoles. Found some rare games I had been searching for and had good prices vs what eBay offers. Staff was very friendly and happily answered questions I had. They seem to test their consoles pretty well too. Bought a ps1 that was in great condition.

DarkRP: Great customer service and great prices

GameStop: what do users think?

Dan Keller: It was quick, easy and convenient. The price was cheaper than where I live in West Seattle.

Ian Butterworth: Great selection. Always busy enough. Looking good for a supposedly dying retail chain. It’s nice they have physical media, games. You don’t actually own anything digitally.

Miles Allister Pullar: 🕹️👾

Omniversal Abundance Vortex: Miles & Miguel kept it chill overall during busy times and helped me out on my bday. Nice shirts and pokemon booster packs. Pulled some legendary and rare holos. Yay

Smoothriver Akanawea: Customer service is on point.

Courtney Nelson: The employee named Joey was so helpful and took time to answer all of the questions we had. Excellent customer service!!
