Villa Academy: what do users think?

Brent Wastman: Trimming bushes in the summer heat.

Helen Ell Tran: Pretty school with good teachers and well manner kids. They even have yoga mats for kids and care about kids with food allergies.

Heidi Goldsmith: Villa has been great for both my children who have very different learning styles. They both have benefited from the smaller class size and the connections they have made with their teachers. My son feels truly known and valued as a student and his self-confidence has increased greatly due to the wonderful teachers he has had. This in turn has had a huge impact on his academic performance. As a parent I love that the social-emotional development of each child is just as valued as the academics.

Pat McCabe: .I'd also like to offer a rebuttal to "Google User" with the one-star post from a five years ago. Villa students from my daughter's class were accepted into Lakeside, Seattle Prep, Holy Names, SAAS, Bush, University Prep and others. If you meet with the enrollment team, they will privately share with you test scores, high school placement, and they are building their college placement database. I know a number of Villa grads who have gone Ivy League and to other highly selective schools.

Dagmar Jacobs: Our son joined Villa Academy in 6th grade in 2014. Coming from a fabulous public elementary school we were looking at many different options for middle schools and finally chose Villa Academy. Could not be happier with the choice. The transition to middle school for our son our son was wonderful. He felt right at home. Villa is a wonderful place for social and academic growth.

Yvette Moy: And parents, let's be clear: the school is unapologetic in making sure every parent participates not matter how big or small. Everyone is welcomed and respected. It is one thing as a parent to say I really love the school. It truly is another to watch my boys bound out of bed daily

David Ferrero: and a curriculum that sometimes seems haphazard and faddish

j and b show reings: This building looks like a I don't even have the words to describe how beautiful this is WOW

Katherine Michaud-Silver: and are now in their late twenties. It was not an easy school, but they are amazed at how well this school prepared them for college, work, and life. Best gift we gave our kids!

Ethan Delavan: This is the school I wish I had gone to as a kid!

ABC German School Inc: what do users think?

Kira Schabram: .This year, he is a tempestuous three year old and has had a little bit of trouble with separation anxiety and also fitting in. I say this to highlight how attentive all his teachers have been to help him adjust. We have been able to meet about this and work on a plan together that has made us feel very supported as parents.Other things to note besides the amazing educators: classes are small and have two teachers each, school is available until the early or late afternoon

Shari Rust: We love ABC German school. My daughter is there for the 3rd year now, and she is enjoying every day. I also noticed a strong improvement on her German speaking skills. My daughter really likes the teachers and I like how they work with the kids and encourage them. It's a great community at ABC School.

Martin Otten: Both of our boys went to ABC German School and had a wonderful time.

Kristen Nelson: . Above all, I am especially thankful that the teachers have met our child where he is at - not rushing him but allowing him to develop at his own pace, with care and respect for the child.

Evelyn: Wonderful place! We are so happy with ABC German. Our children are thriving; they look forward to going to school every morning. Love how the teachers work on building confidence in the children. Lots of fun projects! And a warm lunch - perfect.

Jonas Jonsson: ABC German school is an amazing preschool that offers a high-quality bilingual education. My daughter learned fluent German in just three months thanks to the dedicated and professional teachers. They are all native speakers who are passionate about their job and have a lot of experience in early childhood education. The school also has a friendly and supportive environment that fosters the development of the whole child. I highly recommend ABC German school to any parent who wants to give their child a head start in learning a new language and culture.

Stephan Dietrich: We are sad to be leaving ABC German school at the end of this school year, it’s been a great experience from start to finish in the three years our child has been going there. The teachers are great and caring, but also challenge the kids where appropriate. Unfortunately they only currently offer through Pre-K, otherwise we would stay as long as we could.

Kelly Podlosky: I love this school. The teachers are wonderful- kind, fun, energetic, and they all clearly love their job. Nadja has done a great job with the school, there are programs that cater from babies to adults. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out, with attention to what suits the children best. There are tiny sinks at their level to wash their hands, and a communal table where they get to sit together for lunch. You do not have to be a native speaker for your child to attend this school- neither my husband or I speak the language, but our girls are learning it-what a gift to give your child!

Nicole Colraine: We love this school! The teachers here are amazing. They have a lot of experience and are kind and empathetic. They always have fun and engaging activities for the kids. They offer adult classes as well for those learning German.

Susanna N. Kanther-Raz: ! The educators/teachers are kind, creative, sophisticated, and compassionate and show respect for all the children while maintaining their professionalism and teaching goals. The bilingual Kindergarten program is intimate, with tailored, creative, learning experiences for the children, that make it truly special and unique. There is good communication/engagement from the school if an issue with a child

A M: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWonderful preschool for anyone who is looking for language immersion and high-quality early learning. Our 2 kids attended from 2-5 years old and every year was a cherished and special experience. Full of art, music,, outdoor activity,, culture and socialization. We would do it all again in a heartbeat! Very highly recommended!

Natascha Karlova: Wonderful, caring staff ; great community ; well-loved by my child - especially the songs!

Harriet Dempsey: Excellent native german speaking teachers who care about children. Active warm community with inclusive family activities.

Cornelia Bergelt: Both my kids attended ABC German School for multiple years and I could not have been happier with the care and love the teachers gave them. I particularly liked that the school lets the kids be kids with plenty of fun and play time, but still teaches them everything necessary to be prepared for Kindergarten.

Shawn Nickerson: My son has attended ABC for the past 2 years, and we have had nothing but a positive experiences. The teachers are dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of each child, as well as a constructive learning time. Everything from having extra changes of clothes, to music lesson time, to field trips, as well as healthy chef prepared food everyday, all of these things and more make it a place I can wholeheartedly recommend.

General Assembly Seattle: what do users think?

Marcel N: I've just taken intro classes in my spare time over a couple years. Love the business model that General Assembly has! The intro classes are very in depth for a short session. I just came from the cannabis panel they hosted and I'm shocked nobody took advantage of this profession event! When I finish my college degree, I'd very much like to take on the full classes at GA

Anastasia Tavare: free info sessions to get to know the curriculum and people there. I wasn't disappointed at all. Check out their info session or networking events, even if you don't think you need to attend the classes they offer. Honestly, anyone can get at least something out of any event the GA puts on. Get your learning on and check out an event!!!

Helen Ell Tran: They have free introduction to classes at night time and hosted the Google Sprint here. It was great.

Chestnut Hill Academy: what do users think?

酸菜鱼: I miss this place a whole lot...Holds a lot of memories-(I left when I was in third grade btw.

Kamal605 Madbar: Chestnut Hill Academy is a great school. We have a Kindergartner and a fourth grader who has been there since Kindergarten. We are amazingly content with the instruction our children are getting both as far as scholastics and social turn of events. The educators and staff exceed all expectations to assist kids with learning and develop. There are a lot of chances and backing to attempt various things. The initiative group and regulatory staff are additionally exceptionally accommodating and responsive. We feel fortunate to have discovered a particularly incredible local area for ourselves as well as our children.

Qiu Zoe: My kid is learning in this school. I really appreciate all the people who work there!

Stephen Hwang (Jawa): I’m thankful for my son’s school, Chestnut Hill Academy, for their teachers and staff. I read how the onset of the pandemic caught some schools hard pressed to support online learning. Luckily, his school was able to transition to online classes with short notice.Upper grade students took their Surfaces home and teachers started online lessons the very next week. Learning switched to using Microsoft Teams to be the central app for video lessons, assignments, messaging and class scheduling. It was a quick change, with many parents and teachers both having to provide childcare and working from home. Kudos to the school for taking feedback and rapidly learning to adopt a flexible and streamlined schedule for students. And adding a side chat channel for the students to use for socializing. Each week, students had a concise one-sheet overview of all their core class assignments. Live homeroom meet ups in the morning helped students start the day in a learning mode, but also provided them a daily connection with their classmates. Live video lessons were held in the mornings and recorded, allowing more time for students work on assignments while remaining flexible. The Teams assignments feature provided an easy way to link lesson articles and to upload homework to turn in. Specialists used their own channel and adapted their lessons for online as well. The school also set up parents with separate accounts that we used the first week to hold parent-teacher video-conferences. It is an easy way to keep communication channels open, ask questions and check in on student progress. Of course there was some early hiccups with forgetting to mute microphones and uploading to different directories. It was a big transition, but it got easier as time went on. Completing three months of online learning is an accomplishment for student and teachers alike.

Navjot Virk: Chestnut Hill Academy is a wonderful school. We have a Kindergartner and a 4th grader who has been there since Kindergarten. We are extremely happy with the education our kids are getting both in terms of academics and social development. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to help kids learn and grow. There are plenty of opportunities and support to try different things. The leadership team and administrative staff are also very helpful and responsive. We feel lucky to have found such a great community for us and our kids.

N D: Excellent school. Teachers are great and the Head of School is wonderful. We have had an excellent experience this year. The academics are rigorous. Teachers are very caring and bring out the best in their students. Parents are kind and welcoming as well.

Zori M: CHA is a wonderful school that balances strong academics with developing kids as leaders. Our daughter has been there since Kindergarten and has absolutely flourished. The school has an awesome, professional, and caring executive team and amazing teachers that teach and develop the whole child in each kid.

Adelaide Wu: This is an amazing school. The curriculum is well-balanced and with a lot of fun activities. The Seven Habits, Leader in Me and Ski program have helped my daughter grow more confident and prepared her very well for the next chapter of her life.

Radhika Venkataraman: CHA has been nothing but amazing for our son. The team that Holly leads is fantastic! They make sure that every student feels welcome and excited to be in school.

Tanya Grams: Our son absolutely loves going to school. Teachers and all the staff are great. Academically driven environment that our kid needs. He's challenged in his studies and the attention he gets from his teachers cannot be compared to any other school we toured.

BI: Exceptional school! Best decision made for our kids education. Thank you CHA!

BrandiWyne Band: My son has attended this school 1-5th grade and my daughter k-3. We have enjoyed the open communication and group effort to grow children into successful young adults. While this school has a strong focus on academics, they also care about the child as a person. They teach respect, responsibility and kindness as being equally important to being successful and a leader in life. My son is very sad to be graduating but will be well prepared for what lies ahead.
