Kauai Family Restaurant: what do users think?

Muath Mahmoud: Very nice employees, really great prices for their quality of food and definitely tasty food. They are the best Hawaiian style food i tried in seattle. My only comments is that they are a bit salty sometimes please pay attention to the salt levels you add or probably not mixed well?Either way i definitely recommend them 100%Don't forget to try their cakes, my only comment is that maybe try add less sure sugar? Or some cake slices that are less sweet? The levels of sugar are insane high. I don't care to have some sugar but the cake is really high in sweetness.Still great place!

Joseph Shao: Delicious homey hawaiann food. The loco moco burger patty is well seasoned. I just wished they were open for dinner and Sundays!

Super Six: what do users think?

Bobbi Cleary: Dietary restrictions: GF options like the kale salad, kalua pork, sexy tofu and tofu tots!

Ariana: I can’t believe I hadn’t been here before. Such a fantastic set-up outdoors for summer and the food was bomb. My friend was visiting from the Bay Area and I wanted to show him Columbia City. Super Six had been on my list of places to check out for a while. I got a vegetarian scramble which was really tasty. The potatoes were my favorite part though. Perfectly crispy on the outside yet melt in your mouth on the inside. My friend got the chicken & waffles and his face speaks for itself. We had a great time and I’ll definitely be going back.

Dani G: Still thinking about the hangover fries!

Thy: This was my first time here, and the food is amazing. It was happy hour and my wife and I tried there wings and there amazing. My wife and I was the only customers there at the time and our order was prepared really fast. The people are really cool there and it's a laid back atmosphere. I definitely want to go back and try every on there menu. Super good Hawaiian food.

David Long Jr: This was another, “let’s meet here for lunch” meeting place. And it is Awesome! It is right in the middle of the city, and offers a Great range of unique and delicious foods! And, the space and the staff are Awesome 🤩Parking: Columbia city is a great walk around neighborhood 👍🏾

Sam Choy's Poke to the Max: what do users think?

MNicole: Second Order Update:Gave Sam Choy's another shot, and glad I did! The last time was definitely a fluke because everything we got was flavorful and delicious this time around. We popped in during happy hour; I got the chicken sandwich with garlic sauce and my brother got the smash burger with an egg. The chicken sandwich was FIRE! It was definitely messy with the mac salad on it, but SO GOOD. I will absolutely return for the fried chicken alone, and I'm not a huge mac salad fan, but it was really good and very different to have on a sandwich. My brother said his burger was delicious as well... the egg was perfect with a nice runny yolk. Since it was HH, we snagged a couple of the discounted hard seltzers, and some strawberry haupia. Everything was perfect, and we will both return in the very near future.Thank you, Sam for the refund on my last order so we could give you another shot. Your customer service and kindness are unmatched. Mahalo!*UberEats Order*Sorry to say, but the food is so incredibly bland, I’m not sure what to do to even save it. I got the firecracker shrimp with rice and mac salad and a spicy salmon poke bowl. The firecracker shrimp themselves are good, but everything else is completely tasteless. I’ve never had poke that literally tastes like nothing. It’s unbelievably disappointing. Like not a lick of seasoning. It looks right, but tastes like they just steamed everything plain, removed the taste and seasoning from the sauces, and served it up for someone without tastebuds. I’m kind of at a loss here. What happened?!

Deva Dave: is probably one of the best. Highly recommend this place.Service: 5/5 …

Ohana Belltown: what do users think?

Bryan M. Dunlap: I live in Georgia and eat my fair share of ribs and these were some of the best I've ever had on my life! Really cool Hawaiian dive atmosphere and good music, just an amazing experience all around!Wish I lived here, I'd be a regular!

Rhea 0001: Food and service were very good. Everything our group had was amazing. Seafood was fresh , bright and full of flavor. Staff is absolutely friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience.Parking: Parking can be a bit of hassle to find

Antoine Victor: I LOVE this place! Ohana means family right!? Well then it should come as no surprise that every time I come to Ohana I run into my cousin or one of my friends that I've known for 10 plus years... So its like hanging out in my living room with the homies! But with someone else cooking! lol The food is great some Hawaiian favorites like Kahlua pork, loco moco and a few Filipino dishes like chicken adobo. The staff is friendly, the food is good, the drinks are strong what more could you ask for?Ohana is the last man standing in Belltown... Belltown used to be a vibe! We used to do the "Belltown Crawl" (Bar Hopping through the coolest spots in Belltown. COVID and other events killed off most of Belltown, but not Ohana! Ohana endures... The food is still excellent, the people are still marvelous and for 24 years now Ohana is still the heart of Belltown!!

Orca Swim School: what do users think?

Patrice Robinson: Not the typical swim class. It was guided mindfulness while engaging with water. Fun, educational and empowering. In the end we all became swimmers!! Amazing!

Steve S: When I was a child I had some traumatic experiences where I nearly drowned. I would get into water whether a lake or a pool, or even the ocean but only in the shallows. I had to challenge that fear as I bought jet skis. After going through the instructions, classes and eventually actual pool, I am happy to tell you that I am now swimming in the deep end of the pool and diving! I intend to continue my training with Orca Swim school because this is the first time I have been utterly comfortable in trusting in order to challenge my fear. There is many options to help whether you are a complete novice to a semi experienced swimmer. In addition I met people who like me had issues similarly that I bonded with. This made me so much more comfortable to push myself beyond my mental boundary and challenge myself. I think for whoever does this it will be a fun and challenging experience that will make you proud of yourselves

Arnov Sinha: One of the best experience I had learning something. The style of teaching and learning is something I will take beyond just learning how to swim. The swimming lessons, aren't just, here are some movements now copy and swim. It's more focused on being calm in, and having neutral feelings about water. The rest come naturally after you learn how to be calm.Definitely recommend it to everyone!Jac and Becky were the best teachers ever! Tysm.

Samiya Mohamud: Completed the Foundations 1. Chris is an amazing instructor. I really enjoyed the focus on the mental part of swimming. The CON is the bathroom is built in outdoors shed with no sink to wash your hands. They just have hand sanitizer. This is gross & should be fixed.Overall great school to become a swimmer & love the water.

Manpreet Arora: Prior to this swim school, I have had lessons at other places too like 24 hour fitness. However, I have to say Orca technique is the best. What’s different - Swim is 80% mental, 20% physical. The talking sessions help you talk out your fears, prepare you for your swim, teach you your mental water boundaries. I worked with Margaret and she is so kind, receptive and an amazing coach! She would say - if a step is too much for you to do, I can break it down. She made was understand mental boundaries with water. I took a group class with 2 other students. The purpose I came to this course was to be comfortable in deep water, I knew front crawl already. And on last day, I was jumping in deep water. So, that was achieved! If you are beginner in swimming, I highly recommended this place. I wish I knew about this sooner. In earlier places that I was instructed, instructor would rarely come to pool. Here we spent 2 hours with instructor in pool and 1 hour for our talking sessions. This is well WORTH the price!Only thing I didn’t appreciate was I was really forced to invest in Foundations course and never told that Foundation don’t cover kicking no front crawl etc, which I found on last day with my instructor. Foundations 1 is about building confidence in water and doing paddles with arms so you swim, Foundations 2 is about kicking, then there are separate classes for Front Crawl. .Since I already knew swimming, that information would have been helpful to make right decision to choose private instructor Vs group sessions. In conclusion, if you are a beginner, look no further, invest here. They understand adult fears and have techniques to help you. And last, loved the swim journal - it’s one of a kind.

Peeyush Ranjan: I was not able to swim despite trying for 30 years. And in one long weekend I was able to go 10+ laps after being trained by Sterling. Have already advocated to friends/family!

Jaiganesh Prabhakaran: I highly recommend this class to anyone who is afraid of water. While the prices are on the higher end, it was a valuable learning experience.

Kwame Amoateng: For over 40 years, I had harbored a great fear of swimming. I couldn't go close to any pool, no matter how inviting they looked or how much fun my friends and relatives were having. All that changed when I discovered Orca Swim School for adults. The F1 class is specifically tailored for adults who have a fear of swimming. Amazing classes! After the F1 class, I am now confident in the water and I look forward to discovering new adventures in the pool. I highly recommend Orca Swim School.

novani munawar: I took a lot of swimming lessons before and still was not feeling comfortable with the deep water. Orca Swim classes helped me a lot to be way more confident in a deep water. Sterling was a great teacher, very patient and thorough with us in teaching the next step. Never thought swimming is very mental than physical. It's all about the relationship with the water first. It's honestly a life-changing moment for me. I would never see the water the same again... Thank you Orca!

krishna teja velagapudi: I took the foundations 1 class. The instructors are very knowledgeable and they made it very easy to learn the basics. Its a very good entry level course and I highly recommend it.

Alison Song: Great experience with the beginner foundations one course. Sterling was patient and helpful, having peers made learning more fun, and the pool was warm and comfortable. Amazed to have learned to swim in just a few days!

Silvania Torosian: The foundation 1 swimming classes was great! Helped me to learn how to swim and feel more comfortable in water.

Roosevelt Howard: Fantastic swimming lessons, if you are looking to learn how to swim at any age this is the place to come. You are in charge and the teachers go at your pace. Journaling after each lesson helps you grow and reach your goals. 5 stars I would give a 10 if I could.

Harish Govindarajan: I took the Foundations 1 course. It helped me create a renewed relationship with water. I loved how the course was structured not just to learn new skills but also change the mindset towards swimming. I learned a lot, and left with a lot of curiosity for a lot more. I highly recommend Orca Swim School, and am certainly going back for more courses.

Elaine Seike: I learned to be very comfortable in the pool with the instructors at Orca Seattle. They are very aware of your apprehension and will work you through it.I’m happy that there are more locations to choose from now. I find the pool very relaxing and will recommend Orca to everyone as the go to swim school!

Eilee Zhu: The foundation 1 course was great! Really helped me feel more comfortable and confident in water. Made me realize the importance of the mental aspect of swimming and swimming is 80% mental and 20% physical. If you are an adult wanting to learn how to swim or have a fear of water, this course is the way to go! Instructors were also great!

L. Monika Moskal: My daughter learned to swim at OSS and seeing her succeed gave me hope to reconnect with swimming as well. I took the Foundations 1 class, which surpassed my expectations and allowed me to gain a new perspective on my experiences in the water. Our instructor, Olivia, helped us learn what to expect and figure out ways that allowed us to find comfort in the water. I felt like each session helped us fine-tune skills in a way that worked for each of us, in fact I learned quite a bit from my classmates and their experiences too. So glad we found this swim school!

Fran Mason: The teacher slowly took us through playful practice drills until we felt completely comfortable with each one, then went on to the next. I have never before in a swim class been made to take as much time as I needed with every little detail. Doing so allowed me not to have anxiety with the next step, right up through being able to relax and breathe easily when in deep water, and able to spend several minutes in the deep end without wanting to touch the wall for a mental and physical rest. I had learned to rest in the water. I had never thought that was possible for me. I'm so glad I took this course and look forward to swimming in natural settings.

Ohana Kitchen: what do users think?

Heather A Adams: If you get the plate lunch you’re going to get huge portions and Korean inspired sides with the Hawaiian plate lunch regulars, score! The spicy pork is the best. The poke is pretty good, wish there was fried onion but lots of interesting Korean toppings that are great like kimchi daikon and sesame bean sprouts.Problem is, it’s not consistent so yea, ya never quite know. Still worth rolling up because on a good day it’s awesome!

Jennifer Mai: We were craving Hawaiian food when we landed in Seattle. At the car rental place I googled Hawaiian food and this popped up. I was honestly expecting average but holy cow we were both blown away. You definitely get the bang for your buck here! Portions are HUGE and delicious. Typically I will never finish a platter this monstrous but I was STARVING and the pork belly was so damn good. Not to mention the great and fast service!

Cam Pelt: Recommended dishes

Daniele Schwenk: This is my favorite place to come get poke! The fish and other ingredients are always fresh and delicious every time! Definitely try out their kimbop, musubi, and inari while you’re there! Everything on the menu is amazing and the sweet lady who is always working when I come in has great service and makes each plate with care. I look forward to coming here and trying new things along with enjoying my favorites, thanks so much for being great!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of meat and non meat options for everyone!

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Burien: what do users think?

BK: We love this place! I'm surprised they don't know me by name yet. Food is excellent A+, always hot, crunchy, fresh and delicious. I order it to go, so I never sat inside to eat, but it's welcoming, the people who work there are always friendly, always with a smile. They haven't messed up a order, the food is never bad, My Daughter always gets the Spam Musubi, never had a complaint about it and she can complain. I get the Chicken Katsu Salad, it is amazing, greens are crunchy, and they stack the Katsu, that I'll have some left over for later or a light lunch. Spare Ribs is a favorite here too. I mean it's just amazing.

Seattle Sailing Club: what do users think?

Peter Hummel: Took a two asymmetrical spinnaker course at Seattle Sailing Club. It was very helpful and I learned a lot.

Sean Walsh: was just right for getting opportunities to practice. It seems like SSC makes it possible to have a lot of opportunities to sail, even if you don’t own a boat and just want to connect with others who own or rent boats, which for people like us, unlikely to own a boat in the short term, is awesome. Highly recommended!

Anastasia Giannoulas: I did my ASA 101-104 with Seattle Sailing Club and had fantastic instructors the whole time. Graham did a great job during my 103 at explaining subjects in more detail building from the basics I got in 101, making it a comfortable class as I got my sea legs started. He was super chill, knowledgeable, and patient with us. Ruddy was my 104 instructor and really help drive the importance of what to do as captain of your own charter, how to make it successful and work through troubleshooting as issues occur. He has a wealth of knowledge about sailing many vessel types and engines, and could answer everything we wanted more information on. We all came away with new information and we all identified our gap areas to continue working on by the end. I am already planning to book a private course to continue driving in some of those learnings. I have really enjoyed working with SSC.

Aidan Lewis: Phil Johnson is a great instructor who is very patient with new sailors.

Judith Rubin: Fantastic sailing school, highly experienced, professional and proficient. Would highly recommend them as a school, for private lessons and as a club.

Tony Weber: Took the 2-day ASA 101 basic keelboat sailing class. Excellent experience. Chip was an excellent instructor. He explained things in a very understandable way. Out boat was in very nice condition. Once we were on the boat, he was extremely patient, which is a very underrated trait for an instructor. Particularly when one of us would make the same mistake over and over. He was also very willing on day 2 to let us find our our way to a degree and learn from our mistakes, but also to make suggestions when we needed it to keep up on track. Looking forward to 103.

Jean-Pierre Boespflug: Great club with a great variety of options for sailing

David Scouler: As a new Olympic member of the Seattle Sailing Club I could not be more delighted by my experience. The warmth of the welcome we received from the super friendly and organized staff was exceptional. I hope to do more sailing as I retire and the Club offers a wonderful selection of boats and provides extraordinary value. A special shout out to Allison and Jennie for making our first charter so memorable.

Christine Stoffels: Seattle Sailing Club is the perfect combination of fun, enthusiastic and competent sailing lessons. Our teacher Graham, was kind, patient, and full of wisdom that he generously shared with our crew. We were all able to pass the test and have plenty of time trying each skill while out on the water. I have gone from sailing curious and timid to ready for the next class and more time on the water! I have had previous sailing lesson experiences that were very difficult and it had made me feel like I wouldn't be able to learn. I am now empowered, excited and ready to keep going! Thank you very much!

Joe Borries: First class instruction and staff.

chuck abendroth: Been a member since 2018. Boating for 30 years. Never understood "sailing". Found SSC, got hooked, took my certifications. Bam! I can confidently sail, bare-boat charter a 40ft vessel and single hand sail with confidence thanks to this club. Now that’s a lot, so let’s chat. Once you do lessons/certs, join the club, you’re in essence, “borrowing” your best friend’s boat. You pay a fee for it, but the club takes care of the other stuff.B.O.A.T. Break out another thousand. Good old boat ownership. There’s a lot to owning, maintaining a vessel. Do the math! Moorage, maintenance, cleaning, launching, storing. That’s the club’s end. That’s one aspect of what the club is about. Again, once you can sail, understand & acknowledge what is required of you as the captain, it’s cake.Reserve a boat on-line, pick it up, sail, ENJOY. It’s that easy. Bring it back, dock it, tie her up, clean up your mess, return the keys, go home.  I’ve sailed Poulsbo, Kingston, Bainbridge. All quick, fun sails. San Juan island charter for 4 nights. Holy Toledo. The fleet is good. 24footers, to 40 footers. Charter any of them. Don’t want to charter yourself, fine, do a club activity. Do group sails to Kingston, Bainbridge, etc. Learn racing if you want. Get involved! Wicked community. Great staff. Great instructors. My final words. If you take your certs. Sail, sail, sail. Don’t put it off! Burn into your brain what you’ve learned. Not 100% confident yet for a solo run, fine. Go with a mate. Pretend your single handing. Build your confidence. Know the weather. Practice what you’ve learned. Pass it on.Cheers

Jason Bryant: Fun club so far. The instructors are very knowledgeable.
