Taste of India: what do users think?

Alex: We came in with a very rambunctious toddler around 5pm and they were AMAZING. The service is incredible, it is a well run organized operation. They are so generous with free samosas and desserts, absolutely above and being. WONDERFUL customizable menu, I had an egg curry for first time and curry with fish.I’m from nyc so have been to tons of Indian restaurants in my life, and this was one of my favorite yet.Keep up the great work!Vegetarian options: Wonderful vegetarian and vegan options

Daniel D. Akerele: Staff are nice and welcoming. I didn’t like the curry I ordered and they asked me if it was ok. I said no, that I would rather have something else. They changed it with courtesy and that’s a deal breaker for me. The place is cosy and it’s easy to find parking.Parking: They have a designated parking lotWheelchair accessibility: It’s wheelchair accessible

Stephanie K: Our group was 5 people. We ordered 4 plates of curry chicken, 3 plates of chili chicken and 3 garlic naan because it was so good that we had to add more.Especially the rice is really delicious. If I order the level of spiciness of the food, I can have a great meal that suits my taste better.Everyone in the party said it was delicious and said they would come again with other friends. The restaurant was very thankful and was great. The atmosphere was good. The kindness and passion of the young and handsome owner as he helps with ordering and paying is wonderful.Dessert cake was served as a service, and even the dessert was delicious.I visited this place last Saturday too.6 people will visit this place tomorrow too.We are happy to have met a good place.April 30, 2024 I update and attach photos.Parking: This restaurant has its own parking lot. However, you must park on the street during meal times because many people flock there.Kid-friendliness: No problem. There are chairs for children as well.Wheelchair accessibility: I use walker.I try every time to eat inside the restaurant. There is no difficulty. And you can eat at the table outside.

Kelly M.: I went with a friend over here, overall the ambience was nice and the service was top notch.I enjoyed the food, especially the veggie platter with the samosa, pakora and other light bites. The main meal jeera rice, butter Naan and kadai Paneer was nice.Vegetarian options: The curry based sauces can be made with Paneer.

zoltan nagy: This place was AMAZING! The food was so, so flavorful! I was really impressed with the quality and freshness! Our waiter, Ravi, was like a ninja. At no point were we left wanting or needing anything. I can't express how much of a joy it was dine here. We went in on a fluke, not knowing what to expect, and now it will be a place we frequent for sure!

Katie Griffin: I’m from Seattle and I am an honest reviewer. This is the best meal I’ve had in a while. The falafel was perfect and moist, the grape leaves were fantastic, the naan so delicious & the tandoori chicken tikka… WOW! Juicy and oh so good! This has to be the best Indian restaurant in Seattle hands down. I’m a beyond impressed with the restaurant atmosphere, so classy. Honestly, just a wonderful experience.

Anna White: They have their customer service perfected! Our drinks were never empty, our food was delivered with expert timing, and the chef seasoned and cooked better than any place we’ve been to! We can’t wait to come back for more! Thank you Ravi, chef, and everyone there for making our experience memorable 🙏

Maharaja Cuisine of India: what do users think?

Victoria H: Maharaja for the win!I always enjoy eating at Maharaja. The customer service is always top notch and the food is delicious. I also love the casual, yet modern design of the restaurant. I enjoy the cultural pieces and art displayed around the restaurant. As a vegetarian, this is a wonderful restaurant to go to with a lot of vegetarian options. Aloo paneer is my go to dish and I love it. The dish has a wonderful flavor and always comes out fresh and hot. My wife enjoys the palak paneer and enjoys the flavor of that dish as well. We love sharing the butter naan and the vegetable samosas as well.If you enjoy delicious Indian cuisine in a wonderful environment and with reasonable prices, then I recommend Maharaja! Maharaja has become my go to Indian restaurant. I also highly recommend them for vegetarians and vegans.

WestHill Trucking: Food: 5/5

Steve Seattle: 5 stars for the veggie korma. World class. Great mix of veggies. Decent portion - I think a 16 oz tub with a matching amount of rice, good for 2-3 meals.Ordered 3 star spicy, which is quite hot, I'd rate it 4 stars. FantasticI wish their buffet would come back

NIRMAL'S: what do users think?

Linda McLoon: I was looking for a place with good vegetarian options, and this lovely restaurant appeared on my list. I will start with the punch line, and say I highly recommend this Indian restaurant in the Pioneer Square area.We started with cocktails, and I had their riff on a French 75 with the addition of mango. They happily adjusted mine with less mango. It is a lovely cocktail. We shared a plate of hara bara tikki. These were crispy fritters containing spinach, paneer, mint, jalapeno, and cilantro. These were excellent. We had three entrees. The chicken patiala was delicious. The sauce was superb! So good! I ordered the vegetable kofta curry, which were vegetable dumplings in a green curry sauce made with spinach and cashews. It was quite flavorful. The sarson kag saag is apparently a very special dish composed of long cooking mustard greens served surprisingly with a naan made with corn! It has a Northern India dish, with a very unique flavor. This is not your usual Indian restaurant. The menu is composed of selections that represent different regions in India. It makes the menu and the food extremely interesting. The food has not been "Americanized".The owner chatted with us a lot. The service was fantastic. We ended up ordering a dosa, which apparently a common rice/lentil pancake eaten in southern India, and of course gluten free. It was crispy and, interestingly, slightly sour.We had a yummy kulfi ice cream, and chikoo ice cream which is made from a fruit in the sapote family. The owner brought over a small dessert on him that he thought we would enjoy. It was basically like a skinny funnel cake dipped in syrup with a yummy dipping sauce. I think it was gulab juman. So interesting.I recommend this lovely restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Anushkaa Parwade: I had misal paav and Maharashtra chicken curry and it was so good. I haven't had good Maharashtrian food in the US since I came here and this hit the spot! It was exactly how it would be in India. I also liked that he didn't have spice levels and you eat what you get and that was amazing. The owner was so nice and came to our table to make sure everything was okay. We're from Maharashtra and we bonded over that. While we were eating a homeless person stopped buy looking to buy rice and the owner was like "why are you paying me? This is on us" and gave him a whole meal, not just rice. He was so kind we need kindness like that in this world.Tldr; great authentic Indian food + kind and humble owner

Anuja Sawant: I visited this restaurant a month ago and decided to return for a second visit. During my first visit, I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken rassa. However, this time, I opted for the Gudi Padwa special thali. Being Maharashtrian myself, I found most of the items in the thali to be disappointing. The flavors lacked depth, and the overall spiciness was too overwhelming for my palate. I found the pairing of puran poli with shrikhanda rather odd, as it would have been more fitting with puri. This made me question whether their target audience truly includes Maharashtrians, or if they cater more towards a different demographic. The ambiance could benefit from some greenery to add some life to the place.

Zaika: what do users think?

Apoorva Nagaraj: . Always a good experience dining in. Dishes here are fairly more elaborate compared to a regular Indian restaurant.Vegetarian options: kale chaat, mushroom steak, chole bhature, paneer pinwheel and roti. Everything tasted great!

Sanil Thomas: Zaika Indian Restaurant in Seattle is a gem nestled conveniently near our hotel. Opting to pick up our order instead of delivery was a breeze. We savored the Bhuna Mutton paired with garlic Naan and Chicken Biryani. The Biryani hit the spot, complemented perfectly by the cooling Raita. While the Mutton was decent, it lacked a bit of wow factor. Nevertheless, Zaika is a solid choice for Indian cuisine. Bonus points for the lovely lady upfront who radiated warmth and ensured our food was ready promptly, even when we arrived ahead of schedule.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options

Navneet Dhaliwal: 5 star for Stormi! Best service in Seattle during my visit.Service: 5/5 …

Kevin Hicks: We got takeout and the food was ready in the estimated time. Ordering off their website got us a free tandoori chicken which was a great value. This will be our go-to spot for Indian cuisine!

ray: It's an Indian restaurant, but it doesn't have an Indian atmosphere. The food was a little salty because it was seasoned a bit, but it was delicious. The staff was very pleasant and friendly.

Michael Schwartz: Glad the buffet is back!I wish there were more options. Only saag as a vegetable curry. No eggplant or potato or cauliflower. And no samosas or pokora. And why are there waffle fries? That’s just strange and kind of sad.Everything is delicious.

Nina Liang: great deal on lunch buffet which was 16$. not too many options, but enjoyed the naan, mushroom curry and mango mousse dessert

Stephanie Keene: .Update***Came back and ate in person. Food was even better and portions were plenty

Chaim White: . I like spicy food, but I think this dish ordered non-spicy is the best way to have it. Wash it down with a mango lassi!

Harsha Aduri: One of the best and cheapest lunch buffets I've seen in the Seattle area. I've been here for both lunches and dinners and tasted both their buffet style menu and a la carte offerings. The taste is pretty great making me come again and again all the way from Kirkland. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant and One of the very few restaurants here that doesn't add egg in their naan. Which is relief for me given I've been craving garlic naan for a long time. It's a cozy place with not a great ambience, but all can be forgotten once you get a taste of their delicious dishes.

P Sireesha: Best vegetarian restaurant. Very tasty, clean food and good hosts

Jonathan Polak: Came with a friend for a late lunch on a Monday, arriving just a few minutes before closing; notwithstanding our late arrival, they served us fully and bountifully. Thank you for taking care of us!-- update Dec 30 2023 --I came back for dinner with my family Saturday night, the food was delicious and even out picky kids ate most of the dishes.Vegetarian options: The whole restaurant is vegetarian and kosher

Oscar Manjarrez: I was surprised to see an Indian place having a buffet option. It's not a huge selection but the food is delicious.I also enjoy how you can either serve yourself on a regular plate or use a metal dish with separation.

Moses Zepeda: . The staff are always so kind and funny too.Food does not bother me like most other Indian restaurants, must be the organic ingredients. Well worth coming here .

Matthew Maxwell: First of all, I really love this restaurant and I had already reviewed it before without putting anything in the box. I have gone back multiple times for a lovely Tikka masala that they make and of course many other dishes. I'm treated like part of the family and they remember me as a regular customer and they take care of me whenever they have me there. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and just wonderful and a lovely experience all around. I would definitely recommend the amazing Chutneys Bistro.

Ali: My favourite Indian food place in seattle. We were a table of 10 and food came out quick and was SO GOOD. At the end the chef came out to ask us how we liked the food. Super friendly service - our waiter was extremely friendly, and they even gave us free rice to take home with our leftovers.
