Uwajimaya Seattle: what do users think?

Gloria Barber: Все магазины, в которых я делаю покупки, отличные, только в одном я не могу ходить столько, сколько хотелось бы. У них есть все, что нравится моей семье и мне самому.

Kadin Wilkins: У них есть все виды азиатской кухни и обширный книжный магазин. Это место - целое путешествие само по себе.

Christine Vu: Some things are expensive but the quality is great. You get what you pay for.

John Victor Calabig: Hands down they have the best seafood and prepped Asian food the prices might higher but quality is bar none….

Maruta Shoten: what do users think?

Steffan: Great place to get sushi

Rodrigo chavoya: Wanna see what Japan feels like? Bring $40. the staff is super friendly AND I haven't even mentioned how DELICIOUS the food is. Great price for great taste

Larry Nakatsu: A real specialty store. My guess is that only a certain clientele will really appreciate this store. We originally came for the deli, but we were late and it had closed. However, we did some quick shopping of several Japanese items that would be difficult to get at a "regular" type of grocery store. I'll be back.

Jordan Seagrove: Nice little market in a food desert

Ynna Kutney: Great quality fish for even better prices. The salmon poke don is filling and delicious and only $10. Additionally, the rolls are excellent and also a good value. All the employees are polite and friendly. There’s also a good selection of Japanese grocery products, but the prepared foods are the reason I make a weekly visit.

Christopher Frederick: Lunch specials and regular favorites they always keep it fresh and hot!

Leilani Espitia: You could always get your anime fix here!

Gentle Breeze: Amazing food can't remember the servers name but the guy was chill and didn't put pressure on us to order too soon. I highly recommend the gyudon 😌

J David Macor: Crowded and over priced, but still very cool

Hosekibako: Japanese Resale Shop: what do users think?

Veronica M: A hidden treasure! It’s a tranquil resale shop selling mostly small items like dishes, cups, and decor, all beautifully curated and well cared for. A must see if you’re even remotely interested in Japanese culture, design, or antiques. I got my very first wall decoration for my new apartment here, a lovely old print of some koi fish.

Victoria N: So many beautiful things here. The Mikimoto necklace I bought here is my favorite.

Michael Jacobson: Awesome shop based on donations from the community to help support the Japanese Community center. Ever changing supply of cool Japanese items, some common and some rare.

JM Seattle: I love this shop for unique items for myself and to give as gifts. I love talking to the staff. Even the youngest of them have so much knowledge about everything Japan. I learn so much each time I visit and never leave empty-handed. And it is all for such a good cause.

Asia Scott: Quaint little shop. Very nice pieces at a reasonable price. I got a kimono that I could use for work.

E Ostasiewski: Very small Japanese vintage shop that's run by all volunteers. Located in the Japanese Cultural Community Center on the bottom or first floor. Very nice people willing to help you out, to the best of their ability.

Masako S: Hidden treasures that what I want.Helpful volunteers at the cashier. You can enjoy the location, the buildings and may be practicing your Japanese.

Eric P.: Great shop tucked away inside of the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Washington! The people are friendly and have a nice selection of of unique goods! Also they have a very well put together online store which is great for re-sale shops like this! I come once a week to look /shop sinceI work in the area.

C. H.: Wonderful little shop with a good selection! Got two cute little tea trays here.

eleanor doughty: A well organized shop where you can find very reasonably priced treasures. If looking for something in particular, they may have it in back. also check out the online shop for even more carefully selected items!

gerard ventus: Quality items. Great quality.

Barry Caadan: So nice so kind so traditional highly recommend this place so amazing and authentic

D Sawyer: and much more. During Covid-19 their website has been updated well and I feel confident with their policies to keep the store, volunteers and customers safe. The items are either new or very gently used donations and are priced VERY fairly. The money raised goes to a great place, too--so please support them if you can!

Becky K.: My favorite store in Seattle. Full of beautiful and interesting gifts, books, jewelry, ceramics, and more.

Lani M.: Cute little shop. A bit pricey, but worth a visit. The staff is very kind.

Brooke Brod: Wonderful spot for unique gifts and art

Erica Serna: Lots of cool little things in this shop. Pricy, but great quality. The woman who has rung me out a few different times has always been really sweet. I also like that they sell Blackwing pencils individually. Everywhere else sells Blackwings in expensive packs.

Gabriel Pratico: Lovely merchandise

Hi Ny: Very quiet. Very clean. More trinkets than I was expecting.

Bryce Pielage: Well curated store with ceramics, home goods, books, clothing, and more. I always have a pleasant time stopping by.

Charles Fritzemeier: A wonderful store for unusual, well designed items - a go to.place for gifts for people that don’t shop a Walmart. It is not a place to bring children and cut them loose, it is a place to take them and teach them to be respectful of things that belong to others.

Peace Love Joy: Great place to look for unique gifts or art for the home.

M: great store very affordable

Scooby-skinwalker-doo: Been going here for a long time, prices are good, selection is good on produce and dry/canned goods Overall a great place for Chinese centered food, but they also have Japanese/Korean/Southeast Asian food and ingredients. Beef case is usually lacking, seafood is mainly good but I have bought a bag of oysters that were all dead and rotten.

Jonathan Mathews: MY GO TO ASIAN MARKET WITH A LARGE SELECTION AND GOOD PRICES . FRIENDLY STAFF . CLEAN AND ORGANIZED . GOOD PARKING . NICE PRODUCE AND MEAT AND SEAFOOD

Joseph Szabo: Good selection!

Ars Rem: Great place, plenty of merchandise

Brynn: I love this place, great deals on all sorts of Asian food, especially Korean food! But the highlight is the vegetables, they are cheap and high quality, I always walk out with a weeks worth of veggies for probably 60% less than if I had bought them elsewhere.

Susan Huntley: Nice looking produce, a very friendly cashier, found everything we needed and a few things we didn't

Cindy Helfrich: Great fresh veggies and fruits.

Aliso López Gerónimo: It is a good market but the last time I went I took my child. One of the employees gave him a cookie because he was crying and an hour later he took him to the emergency room because the cookie had drugs in it.

Jenn Francis: are really expensive but the other items were reasonably priced.

Will Matter: This place is awesome. Wide, varied & attractive selection of high quality items, at very reasonable prices.

Lani M.: Really great shop! They had a good variety of items that were a bit over priced on some items, but good on others. Know what you are buying and it is a great place for everything from asain dishware, yukatas, cute pens, and cute plushies.

Medha: cutest environment with the cutest things!! the prices are also pretty sweet here. great place to get a gift

Jessica Norgard: I find treasures every time I visit Shiga's.

Phi-Ho Le: Loved this shop since I was a student at UW and still love shopping here! Friendly staff and so many goodies ! 💖

Richie Magpayo: to shop for gifts. If you are shopping for the cat person or people in your life they have so many different cat design and decorated functional or for display merchandise to choose from. And the tea leaves, there's dozens in pre-packaged portions that you can come in for weeks trying one or two flavors each visit. It's a Japan-centric shop so you'll find equipment, dishes and utensils you'd need eating and making Japanese food

M: Really cool shop with lots of things like dishes, cups, knick knacks, snacks! Got a ton of cute pens and with adorable toppers and some snacks. Def fun to look around!

Glasswing Shop: what do users think?

Victor Broto: Such a great place, such good people. Wonderful, curated selection of modern clothes for men and women, amazing plants, stylish jewelry.

Thomas H: My favorite concept store with the best collection of men's clothing brands in Seattle. This is a great place to find a nice gift, and they also have beautiful gift wrapping too. I've always had a positive experience thanks to their friendly and knowledgeable customer service.

Aja Brandman: Beautifully curated store, nice selection of Kaptial, and the plants at the entrance make it very inviting

NURUL ALAM CHOWDHURY: "Glasswing" is an absolute gem in the world of online clothing boutiques! Their collection, featuring a harmonious blend of style and comfort, is a testament to fashion excellence. Browsing through their website is a delightful journey, making the art of clothing shopping a breeze. Apart from their diverse selection, their customer service is truly exceptional, setting a new standard for satisfaction. As a digital marketing expert, I admire their unwavering commitment to providing top-notch quality and their keen eye for every aspect of the clothing design and manufacturing process!

Michael Garbus: Bought some plants, soil, and a pot — Parker was incredibly helpful!

M B: Absolutely loved this shop!Loved the plants, clothing and bags, candles, coffee mugs. Friendly staff. Vibe was amazing! They need to open more shops in the PNW! Can’t wait to go back.

Alex C: Stopped in here while visiting Seattle last weekend, what a lovely store with some really incredible staff. I was in while some other customers came in and it was obvious how comfortable everyone felt in the store. Thanks for the great experience, and the Bouclé sweater!Hope to see you guys again when I'm back in town.

Richard Wei: GF just bought a 900 jacket for me really happy with the place and the staff

Liam Watson: seemed like the place for what I had in mind, and so I checked it out. It was 110% worth it, and I can confidently say it was the best clothing shopping related experience I’ve ever had. I went in and chatted to who was either the manager or an employee there, to be honest I wasn’t really sure, but I explained what I was looking for and got ready to go try them on. Before that though, he offered to let me try on some other items I was looking at. Given the inventory here being quite high end and priced accordingly, I explained that I couldn’t really afford to spend much more than what the jeans cost, and regardless, he offered to let me try on multiple t shirts and jackets to see how the jeans looked with other pieces. He was so incredibly helpful and let me try on some gorgeous Kapital jackets with the jeans and it made for a very pleasant afternoon. I ended up getting the jeans and they are breaking in very well. Whoever was in the brown v neck sweater and baggy black slacks on Friday afternoon, if you happen to read this, thank you again, you rock and so does Glasswing.

Amanda: This store is really great. They have a bakery as well as a ramen stand and katsu stand here. It's a great place for a grab & go lunch or dinner.

Ali Turan: it's super convenient, easy access many different food and snacks. I'm little disappointed with seeing a lot of Coca-Cola products. It's better to have some local brands or more healthy drinks instead of a company which causes a lot of health problems all around the world.

James Wiley: Delicious food!!

Chris M: Clean store, good security, staff was friendly. The layout is tight and dense, but it gets the job done. The food court looked good, too.The only issue we had was that the meat was cleared out but could have just been bad timing on our part. It's like the Lynnwood Hmart but more compact to fit Seattle.

luv bug: great prices for produce, meat, rice, and snacks! their produce & meat is always fresh. this market is definitely my go-to grocery store in ID! service is always wonderful

K C: are generally at pre-pandemic levels - 30% less than in supermarkets. I always grab some veggies and meat when I'm around. The staff are always friendly. The meat choice is understandable limited, but they are mostly fresh. I debated whether I should share this but the beef prices

Yaqi Xie: They are so FRESH and CHEAP! I used to only go uwajimaya for 5+/lb veggie and got bad ones couple of times. Here the veggies are around 2/lb and all fresh.Don’t have much variety tho and inside smells a bit because their ventilation is not really good.

Simon Tan: Great prices, but the quality of the meats is questionable

Jenny T. Au-Yeung: Always has a lot of top brand and good quality foods with very good price and fresh!!!

Patti D Reid: Good prices.

Tsukushinbo: what do users think?

Taylor G: I got the oyako ochazuke and it was amazing! Great portion for the price, the salmon roe tasted fresh, and the waiter made the great rec to opt for the soy dashi. Would go again, worth the 15min wait. Amazing playlist too!!

Paul Lee: I definitely miss Tsukushinbo’s sushi bar and omakase offerings but I am not disappointed in what they have transformed to.Staff is still friendly, the space is a lot more open and lighting is way better. The Ochazuke was the star of our lunch. Everything was perfectly portioned 10/10The Yaki Cheese could have been better with a different cheese. The Karaage was huge and delicious but had parts that were more salted than others which threw us off.

Angela Zhang: Really warm, cozy spot - unfortunately we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table at 6PM on a Thursday. Sometimes I wish there were seating time limits as there was a table for 4 occupied by one diner for that entire time, who was scrolling on their phone for about half an hour after having finished their food, but I think the servers were too polite to ask them to leave. One feature I wish they had is being able to text/call us when the table is ready - we were originally quoted 25 minutes so we circled the C-ID and came back, but because this one person wouldn't leave we waited for another 25-30 minutes outside. The servers were really nice and attentive throughout our meal. We had so much good food there - the musubi with spam/pickled radish, the eel onigiri ochazuke, the fried chicken, the ochazuke with salmon roe/green tea based broth, and some grilled rice ball with butter and soy sauce. I would definitely go back again.

Sherly Herrera: We arrived on a Saturday evening 15 minutes before opening and were seated as soon as doors opened (there were about 4 parties ahead of us. I ordered the unagi onigiri, salmon onigiri and mini curry udon. Everything was tasty but the unagi was definitely my favorite. We also ordered the rice bowl with chicken katsu, it was tasty. I would recommend everything but I wouldn’t wait on line for this, food was good but not life changing. The lychee fizz non alcoholic drink was very tasty as well!Dietary restrictions: There were vegetarian options

Angela Winnike: .There is always a wait but there’s a good reason why! The service is polite & efficient.Prices are affordable. I’ve even taken food to go and it holds up well.

Jo aisen: It’s a cute and warm place! I love their ochatsuke and nigiri! Especially recommend the Mentaiko Special nigiri! It’s grilled to perfection, imbued with the smoky aroma. For the ochatsuke, I had unagi topping with green tea broth. It tastes really good. Agedashi tofu is not bad, but a little salty. Chicken karaage is delicious!Overall. It’s good and cheap, definitely worth to try!

Jessica M: but I felt it wasn't as flavorful and not for me.This place is definitely a must try! Just make sure to get here early! :

HT Oaktree Market: what do users think?

Vivian K: Bought some great stuff here on their 50% off clearance sale. I'm sad to see them go.

M C: Too bad it is closing down

Peter Anderson: Sad to hear that HT market is going to close. This has been a great resource for hard to find grocery items and a wonderful business to have in the neighborhood

G. Yong: I am going to give 5 stars because of the number of years the owner has supplied and connected with the Malaysian 🇲🇾community here with MY products. Understandably, the store caters more to mainstream Asian and Latino becoz our numbers are small. We are sad to receive news that HT will close on 12/31/2022.

Adam Moody: Low prices on wide variety.

Ian Zander: Very friendly family owns and works the grocery part.

Igmu Tanka Luta: Abit low in inventory, but nice selection of ethnic ingredients.
