The Barking Dog Alehouse: what do users think?

Joanna Blevins: I'm in love with the bowls here. They're huge and nutritious for $18-22. It's a relaxed vibe with a great patio. Everything is self service through Toasttab and then a server will bring out water/drinks and the food.Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Sonora Steak Bowl, Blackberry Salmon Bowl …

Hannah Paccione: Dan assisted me in coordinating a takeout order for a baby shower for 18 guests. He made great menu suggestions, and packed and delivered the order himself. The food was delicious - Chicken & waffles, McMuffins, tater tots, a beautiful green salad with white balsamic vinaigrette. Super friendly and wonderful service - the group was very happy!

Highliner Public House: what do users think?

Bo Ttorff: I like the highliner a lot, I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. Recently the prices have skyrocketed and it's a little off putting. I realize prices are crazy everywhere in Seattle but this one hits close to home as an Interbay/lower magnolia resident. I'll still go from time to time but I think they could benefit from bringing prices down a bit. Just my 2 cents.

Joel Dazey (Joel): . They're quick, attentive, pleasant, and overall just nice to deal with. No idea why or how, but I'd hire their entire team for a higher end spot.Good place to stop after a fishing trip, or boat work at the nearby marinas.

Shawn O'Donnell's American Grill and Irish Pub: what do users think?

Lilly Peterman: Very good assortment of food and drinks. Bar/restaurant vibes, good spot to eat before going to a sports game, but I would say it leans more restaurant then bar. Sun hits the front patio in the afternoon just right, so I recommend this place in the afternoon if you want to sit in the sun and good people watching. I work in the Smith Tower and come here for drinks and tater tots strictly. I get takeout tots all the time and it would come in a long rectangular to go box, I just ordered the tots again and for the same price they cut the serving size in half, now its in a small square box.

Diva Dia: My friend and I went here on St. Patrick’s Day and the food was amazing just like always. I was excited to see a Irish band come play during our visit. Since we went on St. Patrick’s Day, there was a lot going on. I have been here in the past and absolutely had to get the sheppards pie again it is literally perfection! This time I wanted to try some thing new, so we also got a Reuben to split and some delicious corn beef patties that came with a yummy not too spicy horseradish sauce on the side, every time I come here have an amazing experience and the food is always to die for. I enjoyed the novelty drinks they had for St. Patrick’s Day as well. This time we decided to sit outside as we normally dine in it was a perfect day with the sun out and mild weather. I must admit the patio was a bit crowded, but at the same time it was a holiday. I don’t believe that it is the same on a normal day. I have been here many times now and will continue to go anytime. I want some good Irish food. This is the best place I’ve had thus far.

Chris H: Great service, great food, and great beers!

Jessica Hankins: Door Dash order. The Boxty were perfectly fried and warm. Good sauces. Adding the mettuce garnish to the to-go order made the bottom of the pefect boxty a little soggy. The irish stew was everything I could hope for. Traditional comfort food done right. The only downside was no plasticware or napkins, even, and no option to select as an add-on item. How do you eat irish stew without utensils? I ended up using the soda bread I purchased and the accompanying butter lid.I would try again, after the plastic cut on my lip heals!

Magnuson Cafe & Brewery: what do users think?

Lisa Lim: with side aioli and ketchup. The complaint/feedback for the vegetarian burger is that "everything is soft" and could use a "crunchy" texture. Maybe toast the buns or add crunchy onions because otherwise it's just a soft veg burger, cheese

Kim Leary: Food was yummy and the Viking Stout delicious. I had the portobello mushroom burger. It was messy but good. Food was a little pricy for the fact that there was no side with the burger. We made the wrong assumption that there would be a side but were able to order garlic fries, which were plentiful and delicious.Seating outside was beautiful and they had it meshed in with heaters so it was very comfortable even on a crisp evening.Vegetarian options: I had the portobello mushroom burger. Definitely not vegan but a good veg option. There were a couple of things on the menu for vegetarians. Not labeled but easy find something. I didn't try it but they do have a vegetarian burger option as well.

Dylan Fleming: I recently had the pleasure of visiting your establishment, and I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback about the experience. First and foremost, I must commend the ambiance of your café and brewery. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming decor created the perfect setting for a relaxing meal or drink with friends. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which provided a picturesque view and added to the overall charm of the place. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the selection of craft beers. The variety of brews available was impressive, and each one boasted unique flavors and characteristics. It's clear that a lot of passion and expertise goes into the brewing process, resulting in high-quality and enjoyable beers.

Jay Sungvorn: It was a nice place to eat with the water view. There are plenty of seats outside and inside. I ordered a classic burger and share 3 tacos with a friend. The classic burger came with Pickles, lettuces, and Tomato. The sauce was water down thousand's Island. The patty cook medium, it was perfect. The buns hold up and did not fall apart. It was on small scale compare to other places. Taco was ok. I would not order again. But other people like the tacos. Not sure what to say about the service since you ordered at the counter, but they seems friendly.

Ourrias: Excellent food every time I’ve been there! Portions are generous and the service has always been good. Staff and employees are very friendly and welcoming. And the views are nonpareil! Super glad this is my local pub - I’ll be a loyal patron as long as they’re in business.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids and dogs. Very family-friendly.

Blue Star Cafe & Pub: what do users think?

Ashlee Hathaway: We enjoyed a great breakfast here. We got here around 9:45 on a Saturday right before the rush. Service was great, kept our coffee full and got our food out quickly. We started with the big cinnamon roll quick pretty good. The picture doesn't show it, but there was lots of icing. Huge for two people so we took the rest home for dinner. I had a delicious scramble with goat cheese and smoked salmon. Delicious. My husband has the breakfast burrito which was also good and huge. Definitely a big portion of potatoes. I also got a biscuit which was so good. We took a lot of leftovers for sure, so order wisely as they don't skimp on portions. They looked to have options for gluten free bread. All in all great breakfast and we'd definitely come back. Plenty of street parking around.

Pfeifer Hill: Blue Star Cafe & Pub is one of my old-reliable American breakfast spots in Seattle.I’m picky about breakfast food. If I had to pick a final meal it would be a good ol’ American breakfast. I’ve been to Blue Star many times and I’ve never been disappointed. The scrambles and omelets are great and are a nice big portion. You can’t go wrong when picking an egg dish, they’re all going to be good eggs. The Very Berry pancakes were a fantastic choice—they weren’t greasy, too thick, or too sweet. I think their french toast is also good, but I haven’t tried it.My expert recommendation is to switch out the toast for a biscuit or scone, you won’t regret it. Also the breakfast potatoes are can’t miss, some of the best in Seattle. As for the Bloody Mary’s—eh. Hate to say it, but I was expecting more. Don’t get me wrong, I order one every time, but it’s only because Seattle is lacking on the Bloody Mary scene and they’re my favorite drink. I find Blue Star’s lack depth and are a little too thin. I’ve tried the specialty ones and they’re better than the original.Nevertheless, if you’re hungover, need a place to meet your boyfriend’s dad, or are craving something that’ll make you proud to live in the US of A, Blue Star is a five star place to dine!

Hayden Smith: Yum! A gem in Seattle— spacious and BOOTHS! And gluten free options!

Anna M. Parras: I recommend you make a reservation. The place was packed with several people waiting, though there is plenty of sitting space. Service was amazing; fast, friendly, and attentive. Our food came out fast and was well cooked and served, with large portions and fresh. I ordered the French toast plate, and the French toast bread was a little crunchy, a little sour and citric, in a very good way.Their drinks are definitely something you don't want to skip. With a full service bar, you have the option of ordering the classics, but their signature cocktails and bloody mary are gold. You don't want to miss their breakfast shots. I had the cinnamon roll shot, and it was creamy, sweet, and delicious and big enough to sip.

GameWorks Seattle: what do users think?

jalila kalmoni: My friend and I visited on the evening of Thurs 25th April 2024. I was given a 10$ gift voucher which I couldn't use as it was below the limit for a game card. The manager was so kind and generously provided us with some alternatives. All members of staff were so friendly and we had a really great time. I definitely recommend it and will visit again if I re-visit Seattle. Thank you for the great experience! 😊

minnim: A place where you can play games while drinking! There are many families and many friends. It’s a place where there are so many games to play and you won’t notice how time flies! What a fun place to be! You can play game while drinking! Great for not only friends, also for families. Time flies when hanging out at gameworks!

Ron Critchfield: Honestly, just went there for the food. The garlic tater tots are fantastic.

Kevin Morgan: Lots of great games. Love that they serve local Seattle Craft Soda! The bathrooms are meticulously maintained.

Annabelle Veatch: Delayed post for sure, but totally relevant. This place is absolutely amazing and so much fun to come with a big group. 🙌 we went during Halloween 👻 and it was incredibly fun and super busy 😅 you can order batch cocktails in a disco ball or during Halloween they came in a cauldron 😍 Very unique and the place was decorated so spooky 🎃 Spider webs 🕸️ 🕷️ everywhere.Cocktails were actually craft and not just $14 for cheap ingredients. 🍹 Fun cups too. I’d highly recommend. We didn’t get to eat, but their kitchen stays open late ⏰ and the food looked enticing 🤩😋

Alexis Dsouza: My girlfriend booked a reservation for 10 people on my birthday to have drinks and celebrate. We called them a few hours before because more people ended up wanting to come. The staff was amazing - they allowed 15 of us to come and gave us the back room with the couch. Exceptional service and were so catering.I just booked another reservation for a party of 20 for my girlfriends bday next month. We are excited to go back!

Veronica Farley: Nat our server was absolutely exceptional. We had a large birthday party on the patio and we can’t say enough great things about Nat and how well they handled our party. The food was amazing, we had quite a few vegetarians in our party and they couldn’t believe how good the vegetarian chicken tenders were. 10/10 spot for ambience, food and service!

Aaron Wheeler: Great happy hour with vegetarian options and the kindest staff! Come for the cocktails and stay for the Rainforest Cafe-meets-laser-tag vibes. Patio!Vegetarian options: Some Impossible meat and other alternative meat options in some dishes

Todd: Nice place for beer. They have a small bottle shop and I wish they would break up the four packs or make it clear you could as a customer. They literally have 25-30 four packs or six packs sitting in the cooler no one has gotten into. It would be nice to know if I could break a couple up and take a some singles home.Edit: you can now choose from and buy many different singles! Raj Shah: our server made this a great experience. We had vegetarian and gluten free dietary restrictions and he made sure we were served the right food with the substitutions. We had Alibaba and Tear Jerker substituted for vegetarian options on a gluten free bun. The combinations were great and we loved every bite of it. We finished it off with a pistachio milkshake which we loved too.Vegetarian options: All burgers can be substituted for a beyond or bean patty.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bun available.

Jacob Thornton: I got the “Cluck Norris” with a side of fries and it was a delicious sandwich. In top of that, the fries were cooked well. Service could’ve been faster as we waited quite a while for them to take our drink and food orders. That being said, they came around frequently to make sure that our food was still good or if we needed anything extra.

Brooke Hayes: Dude, this spot was totally gnarly! Super chill vibes, not crowded, just how we like it. The grub was epic! We drove like, three hours from Portland, but it was totally worth it for the food. The music was totes laid back, and the whole vibe was just chill, yk? We chowed down on some killer calamari, salmon chowder, and cod fish and chips, and lemme tell ya, it was primo stuff! Like, seriously, freshest seafood I've had in ages, and it came out in a flash. Stoked we found this place and I def recommend!!

Julia Pavey: Clam chowder was thick and creamy with wonderful flavor and has well cooked potatoes, celery, and plenty of clamsSeafood fettuccine Alfredo the Alfredo sauce was so good. Lots of parmesan cheese, shrimp, salmon, and cod fish. The garlic bread was crunchy on top and soft all down through the middle with lots of flavor.Salmon pesto sandwich, The salmon on the salmon pesto sandwich tasted very similar to the salmon on seafood alfredo and was very good.Round up burger, burger with gooda cheese, and tater tots. was on point and delicious. Our waitress was very attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu.

E T: We stopped by here for an evening meal after exploring the northern part of Seattle. Their dishes are a bit small, but reasonably priced and served as described in the menu. We enjoyed our Alfredo pasta and fish, in a nice restaurant decorated with harbour souvenirs and antiques. The staff here were attentive and quick to serve us. It wasn't too busy as well. It's a bit tricky to park here too, but still worth stopping by for a meal if you're in the area.Vegetarian options: Non-meat items available on menu or upon request.Parking: Limited free parking spots on site.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly environment, kid menu available.Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the ground floor. No stairs or elevator required.

Steve S.: This is my go to spot for coffee and new fave of a prime rib breakfast burrito. The staff are wonderful accommodating my pooch with doggy biscuits I tried a cheeseburger this week that was excellent And what stuck out for me was the fries were not salted, a big plus for me being salt restricted for health reasons. Heartily recommend and will always return.
