Meet Korean BBQ: what do users think?

Matt: Excellent dining experience. Don't come here thinking it's like your standard Korean style KBBQ as you will be disappointed then. This place is more upscale and the folks there will cook the food for you and do a good job explaining what type of cut they are cooking. We got the beef feast and it was good. Excellent quality and the side dishes were simple and good. Keep in mind they automatically add 20% service fee onto of the bill but they are upfront about it on the menu. There is a parking garage across the street as well as street parking, but as usual the area is pretty difficult to find parking.

Jan Marui: I celebrated my birthday here along with some of my friends and we all agreed on how good this place is!! The food is amazing and the service is too! We were a big group and the Meet team did a great job managing our table.I'd definitely come back, 10/10!

Kimchi House: what do users think?

Estella Khieu: This place is an absolute 10/10. The food was incredible, even for delivery. The kimchi and banchan was so fresh and tasty. The main dishes we got were the Kimchi Soondubu, Kimchi fries, Kimchi Fried rice, and the Bulgogi. My partner and I were blown away at how delicious everything was. Will be eating again!!Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Kalbi, Bulgogi, Kimchi Fries, Kimchi Fried Rice with Pork, Banchan, Kimchi Soondubu Soup …

Taufiq Salahuddin: . The food was excellent. We had kimchi fries, seafood pancake, bulgogi, and hot stone bibimbap. The kimchi fries were good. Everything else was amazing. Next time I would skip the kimchi fries. This is the best Korean place I’ve tried in Seattle. Highly recommended.Counter serve, very nice staff. The seating area is not that big but it’s a nice atmosphere. I liked that had a lot of stuff so up for self serve that you would have to find someone to ask at other places

Julianne Cuneo: I've eaten here a few times, both dine in and takeout, and the food is always solid. There aren't many tables inside, but even the takeout is great. You can tell they put a lot of thought into how to package everything to make sure it holds up well. They even waited to plate my rice until I actually showed up to pick up the order so everything was still super hot and fresh by the time I got home. This is definitely one of my lazy night order out dinner go-tos.

Khanh Nguyen: Randomly find this place turn on to be a great experience .For lunch I ordered the grill mackerel and it was outstanding I would highly recommended this dish when u came here , the fish skin was crispy , the meat was tender and moist and it serve with alot of free side dish like most of korean restaurants .Unlike most teriyaki place faking grill this restaurant actually grilled their fish and I truly enjoyed that . Also like their seft serve station that offer free hot tea . The restaurant is a little bit small and they had only a shared restroom so that a minus point but overall still a place I would came back for sure .Parking: Paid parking in front , more free parking around but hard to find you might had to walk 5-10 mins

Kimchi Bistro: what do users think?

Steven M.: Great food in a very low key environment. We have been eating the dol sot here for years. The kalbi plate is also very good.

James Kim: I live across the street and have been ordering from Kimchi Bistro once a week for takeout.A couple reasons why I keep coming back:1. The portions are generous.2. The kimchi pancakes have a great mix of kimchi, onion, and chives. Other places will skimp on those ingredients and you're left with just an orange-looking pancake.3. With all the rice dishes that come with a sunny-side egg, it's been perfectly cooked every single time. And the food is packed so neatly. The owners are always there and it shows that they take real pride in their business. Thanks so much, and looking forward to my next Kimchi Bistro meal!

Aidan Drake: Super flavorful food and very friendly staff!Recommended dishes Original Bibimbap …

Matthew Andres Moreno: Excellent bimbimbap. Always love coming here.

C Jo: Excellent kalbi plate and ddukbokkiRecommended dishes …

Ethan Tremblay: Bibimbap I've had in America. The flavors, setting, and cooking style reminded me of my time in South Korea. Every meal is served with authentic style banchan. Very close to the light rail.Vegetarian options: Many tofu and vegetarian options.

BOPBOX: what do users think?

Lyndsay Toensing: We were heading to Pike Place for an improv show at Unexpected Products and had limited time to eat. We found this place for take-out and decided to give it a chance.First, parking in this area of Georgetown is a nightmare. But we somehow found a spot very close by.Second, we weren't sure where we were going to eat once we got said take-out. But they do have limited seating inside, AND we got a table!Third, we were super short on time and thought we might not get our food with enough time to eat because we saw all the tickets ahead of us. But, as luck was on our side, we got our food quickly! And it was absolutely delicious! Lots of vegan and non- vegan options. SO GOOD!

Kevin Shah: We stopped by Bopbox for dinner before going to see a friend’s band nearby. The space has really good vibes and really good communication. The tempura kale is incredible- try it. Got the japchae and it was well made and good. I did not the spicy one- which I regretted after trying the one my hubby got. They have vegan options for their items and that’s great. The spicy cucumber was good. The house made drink was well balanced and flavorful. I got the gingerade with chia seeds.Looking forward to ordering from them and going back, and experiencing their food in more compostable/sustainable packaging.Really liked the vibes. Good post meal feels.

Erin Yoon: 😋Was hoping the sparkling ume drink is home made, but it’s not. It is also sold at nearby Whole Foods at slightly lower price

Sneha Jayaprakash: Loved it! Food came out fresh and piping hot, everything was flavorful, and there were a ton of vegetarian and vegan options clearly labeled on their menu. Spicy items are tasty and have a kick but not blow your mind hot - think 3 stars out of 5 at a typical Asian restaurant. The service was also great - the guy at the front was really friendly and answered all our questions patiently even though the restaurant was clearly swamped with takeout/delivery orders. I forgot my bag and both he and another worker chased after me to return it - thank you!! It's very casual dining with self-serve water and utensils and such. Everything was clean. The restaurant is quite small with just a handful of tables so keep that in mind if you want to dine in with a big group.Vegetarian options: Almost every dish can be made using tofu as the main protein

Paul Kim: Delicious Asian fusion bowls! Their tempura kale is great, and we go for lunch or dinner regularly.

Chan Seattle: what do users think?

Phoud Chewa: Nothing stings like the loss of a loved one.however, the bittersweet burn of leaving this house of flavor-art leaves that trophy highly contested.the marriage of all 7 corners of korea's agriculture and artistry made a tapestry mine eyes were made dull to have seen. The wild mushrooms were nice. The duck looked appealing on the menu, and while it was delicious, flavorful, and tender, I had expected the skin to be more prevalent and a little bit more like Peking Duck. Different culture, but still a bit of a letdown with the overall elegance of everything else. The sot bap was delightful, and uniquely, they gave my four-year-old son a spoon and asked him to get to work stirring it.they participate in the Seattle food fair, infrequently setting up a three course meal thing. I did not try it.please, oh please i beg, "release me!! release me!!!" but the darkness i am met with, unfortunately, is the light.like a newborn robot learning to love, I cry out to my creator, "what is this sensation?" the imprint of hatred bearing the same residuality of love...on my radiator heart.needless to say,I put that food down like its Old YellerI'm left senseless like I'm Helen Kellershe couldnt hear me but I tried to tell 'erThey cook it up here there is no one betterWheelchair accessibility: good

Alana Noe: Cool date night spot in downtown Seattle. Service is super fast and good came out literally right away after ordering.Bone marrow was great. The topping took the flavor to the next levelRoasted cauliflower with the sweet aioli and fry shallots has the right texture and flavor comboI love the wagyu Sam! Meat is cooked to perfect mid-well. Just wished the pairing to the meat would be more flavorful.Duck is great too. The rice doesn’t taste like Korean but more like risotto with bibibamp sauce.I liked the desserts and appetizers more than main.

Madison Lynn Haughie: Recommended dishes Bulgogi Beef Sliders, Braised Short Rib Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

Kersi Vakil: Very good modern spin on Korean food. Meat and fish preparations were expertly crafted. Sampled a large swath of the menu and enjoyed everything. One disappointing thing was dessert, but server kindly took that off the tab.Vegetarian options: Slim pickings. Roasted Brussels sprouts and potato small bites were excellent but not sure if they had meat components like bacon.Parking: There is a paid parking lot right across the street but spendy. Also close to a theater, so if there is a show in town, options dwindle and prices go up.Kid-friendliness: Well behaved kids should not be a problem.

Baegopa: what do users think?

Urikon: Wonderful service, and delicious food served quickly and efficiently.

Alvina Waseem: The first time I came here 2 years ago, they were out of so many meats that I left hungry despite paying nearly $40. Had I rated it then, I would have rated 3 stars. But I went back recently and the experience was much more enjoyable when half their menu wasn't sold out. The meats weren't crazy, but were normal kbbq vibes. They replaced our grills pretty frequently. I still wouldn't suggest coming here first, but it's one of the only "lower priced" kbbq places nearby.

Yashar Bahman: Since this Korean BBQ joint opened during the early days of COVID, it's been my absolute favorite. The atmosphere here is unmatched - it's always buzzing with a good vibe, making every visit a great escape. The staff? Incredible. They go above and beyond, ensuring every experience is top-notch, making you feel right at home. And the food? Phenomenal. Authentic flavors that hit the mark every single time, from perfectly grilled meats to savory sides. It’s a spot that has consistently delivered great service, great atmosphere, and great food.Props to this place for being a beacon of good eats and good times since day one. For anyone chasing authentic Korean BBQ and a solid, welcoming vibe, this is the spot.

Kyle LeClair: I thought this place was way better than Meet in capitol hill. Comparable to that place in federal way. Gonna take my dad here when he visits in april.

Laker Flores: I came here with my dad and the food was absolutely phenomenal and it had to of been the greatest Korean bbq I have ever experienced. What was even better was our service by Hai, not only was he exceptionally helpful with his recommendations for food and drinks but he engaged in so many conversations. My dad and I both agreed that not only was it the greatest food we’ve experienced but it was also by far the best service we have ever had. I seriously encourage anyone who loves Korean bbq to try this restaurant as well as anyone who loves authenticity. The price was more than generous for the amount of food we ate and the quality was beyond anything I’ve had. As well as we love supporting small family owned businesses! The family has obviously worked extremely hard and being able to support such incredible people is such a rewarding experience. I hope everyone gets to enjoy the same experience that I got to share with my dad. It was the perfect way to end our trip here and every time we come back to Seattle this will continue to be our go to spot. Thank you so much to Hai, his family and all the incredible workers at Baegopa!

Gladys: The service here is great and so is the food. My only complaint is they charge $3.50 for lettuce.Recommended dishes Marinated Beef Brisket, All-You-Can-Eat …

Paju: what do users think?

Sean Y: My wife and I visited Paju for lunch and loved it so much that we returned for dinner. We had originally planned to try another place for dinner in Seattle, but Paju's food was so delicious that we changed our plans. Everything was excellent, and the service was great too. We'll definitely be returning every time we visit Seattle.

Jeff: .Would be great if there were even more vegetarian options.

Gyu: we enjoyed sujebi, fried rice and bulgogi. All dishes were excellent, and we were left curious about trying other items on the menu, as it seems they interpret Korean cuisine very well. The restaurant interior was clean and the decor was neat, while the staff was also friendly.

Christine C: Really nice experience here! The waitress recommended that two of us split an appetizer and two of the larger dishes, so we opted for the daisy salad, bulgogi, fried rice, and ended with bingsu for dessert. We started with the daisy pistachio cream salad which was delightful and flavorful. It was a fresh way to start the meal. Followed with the bulgogi which had a unique texture with the puffed quinoa, but it was incredible! The fried rice was our least favorite. It didn’t have much flavor or … wow factor as the other dishes. It needed to be paired with something; unfortunately this one we got last after we’d finished the others and it just didn’t meet the mark set by the other two dishes. We ended with the bingsu which was really tasty. Not quite as dry as traditional bingsu, but still incredible taste. Also glad we made a reservation! It fills up FAST!

Iris Peng: . the pancake and the octopus were delicious and i'd highly recommend. the bonito flakes on top of the pancake was a perfect crunch that complemented the sweet, gooey texture of the fried dough. and the garnish on the octopus was impeccable, i could wipe the plate clean!the fried rice is a bit overrated.we finished every morsel and grain of rice.

남광우: Octopus highly recommendedFrench interpretation of Korean food

Ugoma Achebe: Amazing experience! The truffle ribeye steak with quinoa, paju fried rice with squid ink and the BUGAK; the best oxtail!! 😍🤤 and service from Sharon including her recommendations 👌🏽I’ll be back for sure!

Tram Ngu: : A great combination of the sourness of green apple & sauce with the freshness of yellowtail. It would be 5/5⭐️ if it was morr creative in the taste.• Beef Tartare

Sir Kent: One of the wonderful things about moving into a new neighborhood is discovering all the little places that are within walking distance. Places that not only add convenience to your life but make the grind of the city a little easier just by being there. This is one of those places. It's simple, hot, Korean food done well and in very good size portions. They pride themselves on their fried chicken, and they SHOULD. It is juicy and crispy, and there is plenty to your order. The catch is, it tase better with the sauce they serve. It's a kind of ketchup that has been spiced perfectly to pair with the chicken. If you are a single person in the area, this is the place to come, not only if you want to get full but to have leftovers for the next day. I did.

Apoorva Nagaraj: I am a vegetarian, got the tofu and veggies bibimbap. My first time trying a bibimbap, food was fresh, sides were great, the sauce was good too.Vegetarian options: Tofu/veggies bibimbap

Jun J: I’ve had around WA. I go to the south lake union location now and it’s very consistent with great service, food and environment. Very nice and respectful employees at both Bothell and SLU locations.

A Pat Tran: Got a hotpot with pork, it is delicious, their vegan pancake is yummy and crispy. many side dishes which are truly Korean style, got a good experience in this place. Will come back definitely.

Hrishikesh Ranganath: and showed us how their veggie dumplings were made differently than the meat ones. Love their side dishes

Eric Hansen: I usually try to find Korean restaurants when I go out of town and I was in Seattle for the day and stopped in here. Not only did they have my favorite Chinese inspired Korean dish, jjampong, it's the best I've had outside Korea. Very spicy, lots of noodles and seafood. Panchans we're on point as well. When I eat Korean soups like jjampong I usually order a side of rice to finish up the broth, but I was so full this time I couldn't. Will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

서금란: I ate yesterday and am writing this review today. It's really delicious.Main and side dishes.I want to go again. I'm leaving the day after tomorrow, so I'll definitely stop by before I leave.Jjamppong is really spicy and more delicious than the one you eat in Korea. The jjajang is not too sweet and tastes like old times. Highly recommended. The soft tofu was soft and delicious as well. It's a bit salty, so I think you might want to ask for it to be bland. If you miss Korean food, please go.The store is old and not sophisticated, but the taste is guaranteed.

Marcus B: till the euphoria wares off and birds start chirping you can bet I'm there for Sunday brunch! Their Soju selection is unreal!!! Also I put 4 stars for that atmosphere is cause it's on Aroura & they don't play musicParking: Shares the lot with Shae's & a nail salon, it's a tight fit but it's free!

Deborah Lee: If you are looking for ambience, this isn't the place for you. However, if you are looking to get good Korean bbq at an impressive price and out of the world service, this is it. I especially want to give a shout out to Yu Jihye - an eccentric and customer centric personality. She is the reason the restaurant has repeat customers. Great attitude and energy goes a long ways.

Amanda W: . We had a great time and will be back.

Uyen Nguyen: The price and meat quality for AYCE here compared to other places is unbeatable! Banchan aka side dishes were refilled constantly.Service is friendly and the establishment is clean.People need to get real about their expectations of Korean BBQ and its average cost. $30 per person is VERY reasonable considering how much meat and side dishes you can get. I’ll be back!

Trypp Adams: Wow, the food here is amazing. The recommendations and feedback I got from the bartender was mediocre. I was feeling adventurous so asked about the octopus, she compared it to steak... it was a little chewy like I expected but the salty richness of the bacon and greens made for an amazing combination. She didn't think the octopus would have been enough for me so suggested I order something else. I went with the Steak tataki salad, which was great. The basalmic, steak and hearts of palm offsets the sharp taste of the greens. More food than I needed but it was all amazingly delicious. Everything I ordered was fantastic.Parking: Parking is a challenge unless you pay to put it politely.

Douglas Sum: We booked in advance seeing that it was a recommended restaurant and we could only get outdoor seating. This is fine since their outdoor patio was heated and has a big fireplace in middle and blankets if you need. Gives a very different atmosphere than inside. We had the beef tartar and the mussels to start. Rich velvety beef tartar with a light crispy cracker was a great way to start our meal. The mussels were amazing, each one was so fat and juicy. Ask for a slice of bread to soak up the sauce after. Then came the main event, the short rib steak. My goodness was that one of the best steak cuts I've had. I always liked ribeye, but the Korean short rib was just as fatty and tender. Definitely a must try with the housemade sauce.

JUNG KEIL: The best Korean restaurant in Seattle. You order through a kiosk, so there's no burden about tipping. Above all, the taste is like eating in Korea, the owners are friendly, and the facilities are clean. When I go to most Korean restaurants in Seattle, I only find them to be really bad and overly expensive. This place is different. Highly recommended!

Belle Hyeun Kim: My second time at the bob. Their service and atmosphere of restaurant are average! But wow their food is amazingly good. I would say their vegetables are quite fresh and soups are amazing. We ordered Yuk-Kal and hot pot bibimbab with seafood vegetable pancake. It was rainy day and the food warmed our body easily. I would definitely go back for another meal. I’m surprised that their korean food is good quality and great taste!
