Derek: . From what I can tell, Max provided good legal counsel and helped my partner know exactly what he was signing and what his rights were pre and post-marriage. We were told that notarization would be another $10/signature, so we figured with 3-4 sets of signatures, another $60-80. No big deal. However, when we both went to do the notarization and pay the notarization fee, we were blindsided when we were told that in totality, their services were going to cost $500 and that this would be a flat fee much "lower than the hourly rate they typically charge." What? We were under the impression that the consultation and document review was $200 and that the notarization would be another $60-80 for a total of $260-280 total. Now, Max did add a fairly standard, 2-page addendum into our prenup stating that we both knew which spousal rights under Washington State Law we were waiving, but my fiancé told me that he had not been informed AT ALL that this would result in an extra fee, let alone an extra fee of $220-240. I don't know whether the addendum was a copied and pasted boiler plate or if it was drafted from scratch and actually did result in at least one more billable hour of Max's time, but in my opinion, it should've been made transparently clear to my fiancé what that additional document/service would cost and this was not communicated to him at all at the time. We both felt blindsided by the amount we thought we were being charged for ILG's services basically doubling. In summary, decent legal advice and services, but ILG desperately needs to work on pricing transparency and communicating additional charges to clients.

All the lawyers at the firm are very competent and no-nonsense.Most recently he helped me with an eviction and get compensation from the county. Evictions are really complicated now, tenants have a lot of rights and protections. A lot of things can go wrong in the eviction process. Max did everything as fast as he legally could to serve the tenant with an unlawful detainer lawsuit and then worked with the county to get me some compensation.Not the first time we have used Max he helped me petition my wife for immigration and get her into the US very smoothly. There's a lot of documents, forms, and steps to the process but Max explained everything clearly and to make the application for the greencard, work permit, and travel permit get processed as quickly as possible. Love Juanè: and they said this was considered a “fee dispute”.How do you get “fraud” mixed up with a “fee dispute” especially when they are attorneys themselves?I refused to let this go because I spent my last during a financial crisis, as a single mother to go to the courts and do things the right way and hired a fraudulent attorney; and ended up dealing with the crooked WSBA.I provided proof of my phone bill that literally only shows outgoing calls to this attorney but no incoming calls, and so much more! But the WSBA IS standing behind him.An example of a fee dispute would be if I actually received the services I paid for and let’s say I didn’t agree on paperwork the attorney said took a full hour but I felt it took minutes to do…so instead of him charging me $425 an hour, I felt it should’ve been $25 for the few minutes the paperwork took to do.NOW LETS TALL ABOUT THE FRAUD!HERE’S A REAL EXAMPLE THAT THE WSBA IGNORED….A LICENSED ATTORNEY ACCEPTING THOUSANDS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THEIR CLIENT. THE ATTORNEY INTENTIONALLY BREACHES THEIR OWN OATH/CONTRACT BY INTENTIONALLY STOPPING COMMUNICATION WITH THEIR CLIENT FOR NO REASON AT ALL, THE ATTORNEY HAD NO INTENTION ON PROVIDING THE AGREED UPON SERVICES.There’s only one person at the WSBA that took me seriously, and did what he could and I am grateful to this man
