Heather Dolin: I'm a real estate broker and deal with contractors regularly. Excel was incredible; from start to finish. They got back to me immediately; were able to squeeze me in quickly, their work was phenomenal, on time and a reasonable price. You could tell that they cared. I don't often rave about contractors but they were so good it was worth writing this review. Don't hesitate to hire them!
todd thomas: It was a pleasure to work with Excel Chimney from start to finish. They were clear upfront when they could come inspect our chimneys and give us a quote. The quote came in under their estimated time frame, just a couple days later. We trusted the great reviews here and hired them for the job. Our two chimneys were both in rough shape, one needed some brick rebuilding and both needed new capping/flashing. Even on our steep roof, the team was safe and got the work done in the exact estimated time. And our fireplace no longer leaks, so I'm a very happy customer. Thanks so much.

Yvonne Williams: My 85 year old chimney was crumbling and needed so much help. When it rained outside, it rained into my fireplace. Jeremy and his crew rebuilt it from the roofline up and tuck pointed from the roofline down. The flashing was redone, a new cleanout door installed and also a new flue liner. They were able to clean my bricks and reuse them. It's SO pretty now!! I appreciated their communication with what they were doing each day, how long it would take, and what rooms they would need access to. They were very willing to answer every question. Jeremy wore his mask inside, took off his boots, and made sure the jobsite was clean when they were entirely finished. I did end up waiting a few months for a start date, but it was worth the wait. When youspend money on a larger project you want to love it and I LOVE MY "NEW" CHIMNEY!!! As a side note this company was more affordable than the 3 other estimates I got. Thank you Excel Chimney.

Brad King: Pioneer Masonry did a ~$120k masonry restoration on our 1929 4 story brick building. We have a rigorous process for picking contractors and we went with Pioneer because they have a reputation for being the best in the business. They did not disappoint. There were a few minor hickups and bumps along the way, the crew was impacted by Covid, one plant got damaged, one window was cracked but Pioneer did their best to make everything right. In the end, they did a very high quality masonry repair to our building and left some happy customers. Thanks a bunch to the crew!

K M: Great choice of pizza, food & beers.
Jonny Bullets: Great Beer selection and very friendly staff. The owner makes all the Neapolitan style pizzas. My recommendation is that you try the meatballs. They are on the spicy side but they're damn good. The accessibility of this place is absolutely easy to navigate. The staff is super helpful. The owner is still back there making all the pizzas with the addition of a few staff. I've been here before I went there today and I will go again.
Brian Beck: The masonry is an absolute gem.Let's start with the food - the pizzas are delicious with excellent ingredients and flavors. The appetizers are fantastic too - the focaccia is the best deal in town.Then there's the beer - one of the best-curated lists in town with a focus on Saisons but a selection of lagers, IPAs, and interesting darker beers.The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. This is a must stop for anyone into beer and well worth it for anyone else.

Chris M: Happened to be in the neighborhood and had always wanted to stop in and try a few of the Fast Fashion beers. I didn't eat there, but the person behind the counter was super nice and helpful. I was the only person there, right as they were opening for the day. She took a lot of time to discuss the beers and because it was quiet I had the opportunity to taste a few. All good stuff. Hope to stop in again sometime soon.Parking: There is a parking garage there that is free, but you better have a relatively small car. There aren't a ton of spots either.

Donn Cave: We had very good pizzas here - thin crust, unusual but good combinations of toppings, cooked just right - but sadly it is my impression that they are gone.Vegetarian options: A significant number of pizzas on the menu were vegetarian.
Norah Abokhodair: We love this space a lot especially that it’s amazing pizza, great appetizers, and kids friendly.
Jong Lee: Lighter than Serious Pie but really great crust! Some of the pies are hipster but they are all great! Not sure how it would taste as take out though. The food comes out quick, especially the pizza.
Terry Huang: Nice food and great selection of draft beer. The pizza is also excellent. We had the Margarita pizza BD it is delicious.
Sally Holmes: Great pizza, appreciated that there was a good array of options but not too many to be overwhelming. Beer selection was fun and server/bartender was knowledgeable and passionate about them. Cookies were heavenly. Food a bit overpriced given the amounts.Music was super loud inside, don't know how anyone could have heard anything. Outside was nice although outdoor chairs were pretty uncomfortable.
