Oil & Vinegar: what do users think?

Missy: , so expect to drop some serious coin if you're stocking up.We'll return!

Rachel J: We had an amazing experience here. They helped us try the different flavors of vinegar and oils via a quick tasting. And, the customer service was exceptional. We got home and immediately opened our vinegars and oils.We picked; date bacon vinegar, red onion balsamic, Tuscan herbs evoo, and Novello evoo. We love each one but I think date bacon is my favorite!

Amy Whitney: Went to here and Bo helped us. Amazing!! Delicious products, great customer service.

Kyle Roelofs: Great people! Had a good conversation on the health aspects of their products. Really appreciated the interest the staff took in hearing my goals and sharing how their products’ ingredients could help.

Adri Richards: The store offers a such a great selection of olive oil and vinegar. Not to mention the wide variety of different gift sets that on hand. But also the ability to create your own set. The Tuscan Novello oil olive is it must try!

Meghal Patel: Lots of tasting and they do custom oil + vinegar sets.

Danielle Falcone: Popped in on a whim and had so much fun trying samples of oils and vinegars with Josh. He made expert combination recommendations, offered a few things to pair together, and was so pleasant and kind. He is our Oily Little Angel. The product is incredible but the service is what will bring us back!

Han Solo: Incredible store for getting a stunning assortment of olive oils. If you've only ever had grocery store olive oil, you need to come in and taste what truly great olive oil tastes like. Not to mention incredible vinegars. One of the single most fun stores in all of Bellevue Square.

Thierry Yuen-Lusetti: helped me pick out some things and gave suggestions on how to use them.

Corrina Cai: Nate changed my life. Best customer service experience I have ever had. A great selection of truffle products!

Trae Robertson: Delicious food and mixes..

Johanna P: Great selection of unique food items and knowledgable and helpful staff too!

Wolf Wallace: Amazing stuff inside!

Jonathan Cranmore: The girl with the pink hair was super friendly and helpful. Got some lemon pesto sooooooo good

Christopher Pierce: If you're a foodie like me, you try to stay away from gimmicky places that put out marked up mediocrity for the sake of a lifestyle or image choice. Real food is best in it's simple elements, presented in a way that charms us with it's character. The elements presented at this store have all the different personas an author could write. From complex and sophisticated to nuanced and bold this cheeky little shop is great for writing another chapter in the book of "How Many Different Things Can I Use This For".

Big John's PFI: what do users think?

Uff Duh: Amazing selection of interesting and obscure food items, friendly staff

deb vilhauer: Truly one of my favorite places on n Seattle. The cheese selection is unparalleled as is the selection of different sorts of pasta you’ve never heard of and didn’t know you needed + the staff are all super super nice and helpful. Can’t wait until they open tomorrow!

Obed Ruiz: Drove up from Portland just to restock on cured meats and cheese here. Great selection of Levoni and other top brands. Dealt with Alex and the product purchaser, both very friendly and knowledgeable. Will stop back every time I’m in Seattle.

Florian Ray: Welcoming, knowledgeable crew. Cheeses to die for, nice collection of great wines at reasonable prices, olive oils, tinned fish, cured meats, bulk spices and on and on. I love this place!

Leaf: This place is awesome. They sell quality products, many from Europe. Excellent selection of olive oils, vinegars, wine, dried pasta and canned tomatoes. They also have a deli with excellent cured meats olives and cheeses. They have other great products, listed above are just the items I was able to try on my first trip in.Really happy to find this place and it's worth a trip to check it out.

Ice Qu: A fun shop to explore! Many Italian, Middle Eastern, etc. specialties like pasta, sauces, olives, candies. And much more! Not a large shop, but well organized with vegetarian salami or pork salami, fancy cheeses and meats in deli case. Green peppercorns for your steak sauce recipes, pizza flour for your baked goods, wines, plus cocktail bitters of all sorts. Take your time and wander through. Not a bargain hunter's shop, but more of an upscale gourmet happy place. Friendly staffing.Helpful to know: Free parking garage is convenient, if a little tight getting around a corner into it. And watch for two way traffic going up or out of the ramp.

Frank Ruiz: It's fine. There are some products not found in most stores and the deli has some good looking cheeses. The service is good and the staff are very nice and attentive. Prices are high because they're imported products.

Christopher Bergman (Bergie): Doesn't live up to DiLaurentis, but it's still a good store

Simon Chiu: at the deli was super knowledgeable in helping me assemble a charcuterie board for Valentine’s Day. They recommended a blue cheese, Gouda and a variety of meats, all were delicious. The board was a hit!We love shopping here in general too and always leave stocked up with premium olive oil, balsamic, pasta, red wine and sometimes some flour too. Really great shop. Wish there was one on the east side too!

Moriel O'Connor: Or packaged kosher deli meats as alternative to all the pork products!

Helen Maher: Very helpful staff. My go to for Italian ingredients.

carmaleta aguilar: Easy parking and well stocked with speciality foods.

sylvia bengisoy: Í loved Big John's. Friendly helpful staff. Good price on Bulgarian feta cheese and Turkish olives. I loved that they carried bulk spices. I stocked up on spices for baking.

Dave: What a great store. We couldn't believe the selection of cheese and other imported foods. Hidden gem for spices too. Will be back many times I'm sure.

SaraEatsDinner: Absolutely love this place. The staples that I get from here are: different flours, olive oil, wine, and baking chocolate.Of course, I also wander around and get pasta, canned tomatoes, little cookies and things as well. Essentially, I load my handheld basket up until it's too heavy for me.

Paris-Madrid Grocery (Spanish Table Seattle): what do users think?

Steve G: New owner is not letting this place down, still a great selection and I particularly appreciated Tom’s care to ask what items we like to usually purchase as they try to update their inventory. All the mainstays PM has had for years are still there, can’t recommend enough if you want French or Spanish items!

Jon Lanthier: but the name hasn't changed, and the inventory is FANTASTIC. Excellent selection of Spanish and French goodies

Sam Campeau: Thrilled to report they are back open under new management! Still the same expansive inventory of imports but now better organized and overall user friendly.

Emily Shashkini: So happy that they’ve reopened! Things are getting better organized and their prices + stock are still nice. Excited to keep doing my rounds here ☺️

Lori Davis-Sandoval: THEY ARE OPEN NOW !!!! March 23 2024

Su Li: so I hope this place will stay not so expensive.

Karl Breitenstine: This place is so much fun if you like French cooking. The cheese and wine selection is wonderful and lots of little finds like Dijon Mayonnaise or Spanish style Chorizo. Flags are usually up when they are open, everyone working there is super helpful if you have questions.

Jennifer Zimmer: Wonderful selection, knowledgeable staff

Ric: I came across this store by chance yesterday, and I immediately fell in love with this place. The store has amazing quality products from Spain, France and the Basque Country. As a Basque myself, I am really glad I found this store, the best in Seattle!

Swanky Christy: Absolutely gem for gourmet and foodies! I found all my favorite things here and much better than Italian grocery store deLaurenti at Pike market. They also have my favorite foie gras, jamon, truffle chips, dijon french mustard, Italian lemonade and a lot of things for paella and tapas!

Mario Kuperwajs Tuval: Great selection of a great variety of Spanish, Portuguese, French and North African products. Plenty of wine to choose from and a difficult choice to make from cheese and meats. Well equipped and worth the money!

Amelia: Definitely worth a stop inside for a great selection of euro goods. Great wine selection with reasonable prices. If you are into tinned fish this is your place. Fun packaged goods as well. Something in here for everyone.

Truffle Queen: what do users think?

Richard Fox: Went here as a part of the eat Seattle tour. Our guide Silas was right in taking us here. The staff were very knowledgeable about truffles and told us all about how they were used. This combined with samples of various food that included truffle in some way was awesome. A very unique flavor!Check them out.

Obed Ruiz: Second trip in 2 months from Portland. Dealt with the owners daughter who clearly was familiar with all their products and helped us select fine truffle oils and balsamic. Great selection of truffle products and aged balsamic.

Megan Thee Myth: Very knowledgeable staff! If you like truffles this place is for you! Family member had one of the frozen drinks and really recommends it. They have samples of just about everything in store. They ship too! Family friendly place.

Tracy Green: I got enjoy some samples while on an Eat Seattle tour and the Truffle Princess herself convinced me to try a peach Bellini! The truffle salt was excellent and I’ll be buying some to take home as well. This place also ships AND has wine tastings! What more could you ask for?!

Jennifer Thomas: , start with the salt. Yum! Yum! Yum!

Steve Eckelberry: We are happy with the quality of the truffle we ordered. We ran into a shipping delay with UPS and Truffle Queen went out of their way to get it to us on time, despite the error being UPS’s and not theirs. We will be back for more!

Paula Chaverri: One of the coolest and most delicious specialty food store!

Meng: I didn't go in to buy anything, so I can't speak to the products. But I asked for directions to another shop near the market and the wonderful person behind the counter walked me to it all the way down the block. Excellent customer service! Much appreciated!

Shiniqua Lee: As we were exploring Pike Place Market we stopped here. We originally just wanted to sit but decided on a wine tasting as well! We tried their white truffle oil in our clam chowder and it elevated our meal while sophisticating our taste buds. The Service, atmosphere, wine tasting, seasonings, and truffle oils are highly recommended. I encourage you to check this place out on your Pike Market stroll!

Sera Yaz: Sadly I did not take pictures but the flights and charcuterie board was amazing. I can 10 am. It’s 1:30pm. I’m still here the armor is amazing I’m so relaxed and enjoyed my time here immensely. Take 5 minutes sit down and relax here. You will not regret it.

JD: Kingdom of truffle!!!!!!!

Wanda G: I had the loveliest day in Pike Market for my 51st birthday. The frozen bellini was gifted to me by the owner to help me celebrate and it was so good that I bought the ingredients. This is a beautiful shop with wonderful treats around every corner. Treat yourself ladies and gentlemen!

David D: We took the "Show me Seattle" Tour guided by Lucky and we found the best little shop in the entire Pike Market Place, if you ask me, Alicia was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly. We bought the truffle cream, the truffle pesto and the red pesto with truffle sauce, truffle oil and truffle cream, a very buttery one, it was all so good! We really wanted to do the wine tasting but we had to take the highway to come back home in a couple hours, however, the selection looked really European and not very common, which makes me even more curious about trying them. The ambiance was very nice, there were two more employees and even though, they were very busy, we did not feel rushed at all. We will be coming back to this shop when returning to Seattle.

Elena Ernst: I bought a single truffle. It was completely tasteless and a waste of money.Update: owner contacted and issued a refund. I will hit you guys up next time I’m in town and try again.Thank you!

Brandon Martine: An excellent, charming little shop with a fairly large and unique selection of wines and truffle related products. Lovely owners, great atmosphere, and high quality stuff. Highly recommend checking it out.

Katie Mae Williams: My sister and I did a food tour at pike place market and this great little spot was a quick part of it. We knew we had to come right back at the end of the tour and we did! Even with the hustle and bustle of the crowds in the market, and the small space, the people who work here manage to make each shopper feel welcomed. We enjoyed a wine tasting and ended up buying 3 bottles of our favorite!

Colleen Dooley: they are absolutely brilliant business owners. Had a hiccup with the labeling of an item online and I got misty eyed at their response to correct the error. They have me as a customer for life

ChefShop.Com: what do users think?

Shannon McCafferty: This little specialty food shop is nestled among some nearby urban gems—a bakery, wine shop, brewery, upscale diner, a waterfront park…— it’s a great area to spend a late morning or afternoon. I discovered the shop while exploring here. Stepping through the door is like having several different countries and cultures suddenly at your fingertips. The newsletter is written in a warm, inviting tone with a love of food that keeps me looking forward to its stories and stopping in for ingredients from recipes shared there.

travis dimmick: One of the best online specialty food stores I have known

Bonnie: Terrific products and helpful, kind staff. Happy to find a reliable source of muscovado sugar. Will definitely return!

dana ecelberger: Excellent food and recipes. Woman-owned business. Online portal is also great.

Rob Laroche: A must do resource for a true food explorer.I use the website monthly, but on a hookie day I love to pop in and fill in the holes in my pantry. The ingredients are mostly imported, mostly rare / hard to find and of course, budget busters. The staff is knowledgeable, supportive and friendly. Try the Sgambaro venetian style spaghetti.

Jamie: OMG! Love this place! I've been shopping at Chefshop for years and always find new and interesting things to buy and eat. The best!

Liam N: Cool little shop for gourmet food items

Marinda Graham: I love this place - quality ingredients and lots of fun stuff to choose from. I get inspired by the wide variety of things they have. And their customer service is amazing!! Highly recommend whether you need specific ingredients or you are just browsing for ideas...

DeLaurenti Food & Wine: what do users think?

Abby Snoznik: Always a great selection of fresh and packaged food. Love coming here when in Seattle!

Kelsey: Yummy sandwich. Get it pressed, it was very good. Standout was the vegetarian sandwich - it was very flavorful and unique. We wished they made there sandwiches fresh, but that than that, great fare.

Obed Ruiz: Great place to pick up cured meats along with a very impressive cheese selection. Came up from Portland for the day and returned here. Annabelle was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Anat Stapleton: DeLaurenti has such a great selection of fine cheeses and spreads, as I went to them to get a birthday gift for my brother. Elyse is a Manager there, and she is wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I highly recommend Elyse and this company.

trusted: love this place and the girl who helped me out with today was so amazing. thank you for the recommendation of the sauce on the side!! definitely will be back

Eduardo Borges: I stumbled upon DeLaurenti Food & Wine while exploring Pike Place Market during our conference break. The inviting aroma of espresso drew us in, and we found ourselves surrounded by an array of specialty foods and wines. We couldn't resist trying their chocolate chip hazelnut, and it didn't disappoint. The combination of chocolate and nutty flavors was spot-on, leaving us craving more. What really stood out, though, was the friendly atmosphere and the staff's genuine hospitality. Calder, one of the food managers, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. His knowledge of the products and his passion for what he does made our visit memorable. The paninis were also a hit – simple yet delicious, with fresh ingredients that spoke for themselves.Overall, DeLaurenti strikes the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. It's a place where you can enjoy quality food in a relaxed setting, surrounded by friendly faces. To Pat McCarthy, Matt Snyder, Nate Plutko, and the rest of the team, thank you for a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Seattle.

Aleksandar Bujanic: Great

Pamela Gannaway: Oh my goodness! The huge selection of specialty condiments, sauces, olive oils…you could spend hours in here! A foodie’s paradise. Nice selection of wine too!

Robert Wilson: The help is great lots of knowledge. Great deli meats@

Shayan Emami: A very original, unique and rich grocery shop with all the rare fundamental products like olives oils, salts, mustards, chocolates , cheeses. There is also a coffee shop located there too, so you enjoy your coffee while getting your head around your expensive fancy grocery bill.

Melissa Sanson: This place is wonderful for discovering new ingredients for cooking. Not to mention their fresh-prepared foods are chefs kiss.

Cassandra P: If I had space in my suite case I’d have gone nuts. Price wise you’re getting what you pay for and if I’m honest it’s not as expensive as you’d think being down on Pike.

understanding Ruth: . We heard about this great quick lunch by asking a vender for a tip where their favorite place to eat was in the Market. If crowded downstairs there’s alsoLimited seating upstairs.

Dr Steelhead: Busy, full of people and a terrific array of familiar and unfamiliar items. And not as expensive as you might think.

The Souk: what do users think?

Kevin Alexander: Gem of a shop nestled in north end of Pike Place Market. Reasonable prices for Middle Eastern and Indian specialty items. Warmand friendly owner and the baclava … yum.

Ko B: Stepping into The Souk in Seattle, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of fresh baklava and the warmth of the charming shop owner. Their baklava is the star of the show - a heavenly blend of buttery phyllo, rich nuts, and a perfect touch of sweetness. It's not just a treat; it's an experience, enhanced by the owner's captivating stories and genuine hospitality. A must-visit for anyone in Seattle craving authentic baklava and a touch of heartwarming conversation.

Micah Clark: Absolute gem of Seattle for Indian and Arab food ingredients. A small shop but staffed by the sweetest most helpful people. They had no problem helping me find things and are the nicest folks around.

Pan Mittal: This place has a lot of kitchen and other household stuff you need from India and the Middle East, and it’s perfect for last-minute shopping. Choodamani sampath: got all the things i searched for and much more. great!!

Yassir Solomah: Great selections

Mary Willhite: We came here for dinner staples while staying at the marina. They had an awesome assortment of spices and other ingredients. Then we found their baklava and I think it is the best I have ever had. The kind lady who runs the shop makes them fresh each morning and she was adorable and welcoming. We will be coming back to the market for this shop specifically.

omar khalife: Excellent home made baklava

vrinda pahuja: Some of the very few stores in downtown Seattle that have Indian groceries. They don't have a lot of variety but you'll mostly find the basic necessities. You can call them to confirm if you they have what you need. The person who answered my call and later helped me with the in-person order was very helpful.

Sudharshan Chakravarthy: The best Baklava in Seattle, hands down.

Rich Hladky: Exotic foods and friendly staff

Taha Qaraqe: Great chance to find plenty of middle eastern food supplements and gadgets. Very friendly owner and manager.I will let the photos speak for what this shop has!Definitely all kind of spices and pickles. Frozen Halal meat, poultry, okra, Mlokhye, hotdog, and sambosa.Fresh homemade baklava and delights.

Poda NaveenChowdary: Brought chilli powder here

The shop was small and I was looking for several Indian spices . The lady who worked there helped me find everything.. and they had everything I needed. Amazing!
