Capitol Hill Museum Quality Framing: what do users think?

Sam Rolfe: 10/10! They were so helpful and fast. Helped me frame a jersey for my friend's birthday, I can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Museum Quality Framing!

David Antal: ?

Andrew Royal: Excellent professional results.

Travis Thompson: I had an incredible experience here. They created beautiful pieces that I’m giving as a Christmas gift. They also went above and beyond by providing free gift wrapping.

Victoria Huynh: Walked in a few weeks ago to get a frame and custom size matting for a cross-stitch I made. They were helpful in helping me figure out what I needed and cut the matting for my piece very quickly.

Sue Frohreich: We really appreciated their expert advice with sensitivity to our artistic vision. The recommendations regarding framing and glass materials were perfect compliment to our home.

Frederick: Bill Murray is gang stalking me

Ivy 'S: Professional, meticulous, and beautiful hand crafted quality.

Noah Fabish: Excellent service and quality! Kind and knowledgeable staff with endless framing options.

Shayna Stevermer: . When I came into the store she walked me through picking my background color/texture, what type of glass I needed and picking a frame. They have a TON of options and she was helpful and gave good recommendations but always listened to what I wanted in the end. Timing wise it took about 2 weeks to complete, but I have a large 3ft x 5ft picture so smaller might be faster; Im unsure. My final piece ended up being so gorgeous I cannot believe it lives in my house! I am so grateful and hope to have another piece worthy of their work soon

E J: I have been getting everything from Art, Photography, Antique Madonna Hands from Italy, to Sports Jerseys, framed at Capitol Hill Museum Quality Framing for many, many years. They always do a wonderful job and take the time to understand our vision and then make it happen. Cheryl and her team are thoughtful, kind, and very talented. I highly recommend them for all framing needs.

Richard Powell: Professional and knowledgeable. I broke the glass of my art piece and it was ready the following day.Parking was a little difficult. That's why 4☆ instead of 5☆

Brenda Sherk: I had such a wonderful experience Capitol Hill MQF. Their selection of custom framing material is extensive as well as their services. I love how patient, helpful, and knowledgeable the staff is. They work with you to make sure you are happy with your order in terms of product and price. I was satisfied with the cost as it’s not much different than online custom framing service providers. I absolutely recommend this shop and would love to work with them again.

Jeremiah Reenders: 10/10! Beautiful framing. Was totally worth it to pay for the museum quality glass

Guillermo G: The frames were great and the team working on them were very helpful and prompt

Elena Schensted: Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! I had an Andrew Wyeth poster framed with a small custom mat for my partner for Christmas, and he LOVED it! You all were very helpful in helping me decide which color mat to use, and were understanding when I needed that mat to be very thin along the border due to the size/shape of the poster. It looks so good and the color of the matting and the wooden frame are a perfect complement to the colors in the Wyeth painting. 10/10 experience!

Jessica McCarthy: While there are so many beautiful frame options, they helped me find exactly what I was looking for within my budget. We played around with different widths and finishes until we found the winning combo. The turnaround was pretty quick and the end result is perfect. Highly recommend.

Michael “Ollie79” Blackburn: I was a first time user of their service. I was on a short deadline. They were very supportive and gave great customer service. I found their prices to be competitive and in these times great customer service is hard to find. My art is not hanging in a gallery and I like to thank them for doing a great job.

Sterling H: The name doesn't lie! Friendly, knowledgeable staff who were able to get me exactly what I wanted for my unusual framing needs. High quality work front to back!

Susie H.: I've been having art framed here for a long time. The staff is excellent at working with me to find just the right frame and mat. Everything always looks beautiful.

Frame Central Capitol Hill: what do users think?

Jose Montero: Have framed several items here. Conveniently located on Broadway, very good service and lovely frames.

eleanor okeefe: Nice, helpful staff; beautiful result.

Justin Jakubisn: My experience at Frame Central was top-notch. Initially I visited to only get some mats cut yet because of the excellent customer service I ended up deciding to purchase several custom frames. I'll definitely be returning in the future and recommending this location. Keep up the fantastic work!

Danielle Librera: I was very cautious when choosing someone to mat and frame an old and sentimental piece of art work that was gifted to me. After reading reviews I was sure Frame Central was the place to go. And I must say I was so please with the end results. The staff was so helpful, professional, and very sweet to interact with. I highly recommend.

Heather Preston: So happy to have found you! Great experience. My art looks fab, it was fast, good price, couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you, we will be back!

Carol Overbeck: loved the good advice and careful attention to my project.

Wakefield S.: Great customer service & staff took time to ask questions which ensured an opportunity to tap into their expertise.

Marcus Thimpson: Awesome customer service

Alice Davis: Never dissappointed since 2001! I always refer family and friends without hesitation

Jim Carpenter: I presented FC with a complicated framing project. Their suggestions of frame styles and matting materials were excellent. Craftsmanship was top notch.

Emily Louden: Abby explained exactly how acid-free paper worked, helped me pick out frames for each of my pieces, and showed me how to use scrap paper to frame my oddly sized prints. My trip to the frame store went from an errand to a fun part of my day thanks to her!

Fyodor Minakov: Extremely professional, high quality work, but where these folks really stand apart is aesthetic advice on frame choice for a given artwork. They completed a wide variety - ranging from watercolors to acrylic and oil, and every piece was beautifully executed. Prices are reasonable.

Chloe Csadenyi-Benson: Abby was so helpful. I had to get four art pieces framed for a client and she made it so easy.

Josh B: I brought something in that was more valuable than their default insurance policy. I was a little worried about the gap between value and coverage. But in the end I had nothing to worry about, and I got my art nicely framed

Mel Simburg: Very knowledgeable and helpful. Good quality and value.

Aaron Hawkins: Precise, professional, and fair priced!

Baxter Black: We had a great experience getting a nice canvas piece of art framed. Torrey had deep knowledge and did a great job helping us with the design choices

Maureen Barrett: Loved the job Frame Central did on the photograph I brought in. It was initially in glass that shattered when the picture fell from a wall. They redid it using plexiglass and I think anyone looking at it would believe it's encased again under crystalline glass. Very grateful and satisfied. Thanks Frame Central - Capitol Hill.

Mike F: The owner of this shop is very talented and has framed most of the artwork in my home.

Emily McMahon: Lovely experience. Tom helped us through the process and we are excited about the result.

kevin: Tom does amazing work; every piece I bring to him, he knocks out of the park! I’ve never had any issues. A must stop if you need stuff framed!

Ryan Livingston: Excellent customer service, the owner is extremely knowledgeable about frames. Highly recommend

Camille Pribble: This is the place to go! Tom's work is stunning. He helps get your thoughts out there and shows you examples that fit what you are framing. You get to see and touch the products, switch things out, chat about, whatever you need! Thank you Tom for the beautiful work.

H.T. Ellis Marschand (H.T. Ellis): Tom did a beautiful job. We had to wait a bit for the framing materials on back order, but it was well worth it. If you have a special piece that you are willing to spring money on for a nice frame, don’t hesitate to stop in.

Wes Dean: The gentleman managing the store was very helpful with getting my degree framed. Nice work and completed ahead of the due date provided. I will definitely go back with any future projects.

James Zerkel: sets the bar for framing services.

Jonathan Fischer: Great service and value

Mia Vera: Excellent experience! It was fascinating to watch the procedure and be part of it. So cool! Immensely satisfying!!!!

Frank Bailey: Great work was done on three items I wanted framed. I couldnt be happier about the work.Note: there were loads of options which made the decision process pretty difficult. Best if you have an idea of what you want before getting there. Also, if you need yours done by a certain date just let them know. Fortunately I didn't as it took them a week longer than original estimated.Bottom line, would go there again and thank you for the great work!

Elizabeth Butler: and his frame suggestions are excellent. His understanding of the artworld means his framing focuses the viewer's eye on the artwork, beautifully.

Lynn Drake: Owner is very nice. I didn’t actually end up framing anything with him but he kindly made some measurements and disposed of some broken glass for free. Thank you.

Miranda Witherspoon: I always receive excellent customer service and I am always pleased with frames/mats that I take in. Turn around time is always fast. Also super convienenantly located, if you need to grocery shop or eat lunch before or after an order pick up!

Jackie Matthews: Great place! We reframed an original piece of artwork I just inherited! Mr. Sweeney is so helpful and the work is beautiful!!

Adam Putter: Amazing attention to detail. Couldn't be happier with the three pictures I had framed.

Four Corners Art & Frame: what do users think?

Leah Ashley: Train bound one sunny Saturday afternoon on some random adventure, I paused to admire art displayed in the window front of this establishment. The owner curator and operator, Allison, came out to encourage me inside and listened to what I liked and explained each piece’s provenance and special qualities to me. Once we learned we shared French as a common spoken language, she doubled back to explain in French. I didn’t have the money at the time to buy the piece I now own, but Allison interrupted my mournful protests to promise that it could be held through the weekend and til end of business in the following Monday. She has elegant sensibilities evidenced by the gallery’s carefully curated collection and I can’t believe I’ve lived near her shop for almost four years before discovering this very special spot. Highly recommend.

Tina K: Great selection of cards and art, and very friendly owner!

Dónal Kelly: with walls of pieces framed carefully and creatively - a great place to take special items, or to find something unique for a very reasonable price

Khoi Nguyen: would go well with the piece instead of yes-saying to whatever I choose. For a small shop, their turnaround time was pretty quick for the holiday season. And of course, the shops have all sorts of cards that would make nice gifts from Seattle.

Helen J Li: I walked in to buy a few things and left with 10 cards! I could not miss out on the amazing selection of cards and art they had. The owner Allison was so kind and patient while I looked around and was happy to chat about basically anything. Make sure to come here for one of a kind art collections and framing services you cannot find anywhere else. Thank you Allison! ❤️

Casey Cockerham: Personalized service, fair prices.

J.J. Westfall: Best frame shop ever! A great mix of original art, prints & fun cards. Over the years I’ve had dozens of things framed there, from cards in ready made frames to custom jobs. Allison is a skilled craftsperson who does am amazing job helping people with any type of project.

Lois Ko: All frames for my house and business comes from this tiny little shop. Allison the owner has pulled some vintage frames she had collected over time and refinished them for my neighboring business that are stunning and showstoppers. When I bring in artwork or pictures for my home, doesn't matter if it's a simple black frame or something totally quirky and out there, Allison can find the perfect frame and matt that makes the piece shine. There is no place in Seattle that can do the level of work that Allison can do. A true gem!

Lucy Bernard: Allison hands-down does the best framing work I have ever experienced. She has done so many unique things with pieces my family has brought her over the years and brings an incredible eye to everything she does. On top of that she’s fair and very reasonable considering the value you get for what you pay. The shop is also filled with all kinds of fun discoveries! Her shop is 175 miles away from me, but I haven’t found anyone better closer to me, and I’ve tried. You will not regret visiting the store and entrusting Allison with your art.

Florence Tiberius Baker-Gray: In America, you get what you pay for. At Four Corners, excellence is what is paid for and recieved.

Marianne Cavelti: I love this little gem of an art and frame shop. Allison framed a very delicate piece my Dad made in the 60's. I didn't realize how precarious the piece was, but Allison knew. Her eye is incredible, and the care she puts into each piece is evident in every detail. Pick-up a piece of local art while you're there! Affordable, high quality, perfect service, beautiful framing, they always exceeds my expectations.

Elspeth Savani: Allison has framed several original pieces for me and each one is unique, lovely and enhances the artist's work. She knows her craft inside and out. Just know that she's doing most of the work on her own and at times the shop will be closed if she has personal business to attend to. If the U District is out of your way, check in advance to make sure she'll be open.

Eliot Leathe: I was extremely impressed with the selection and variety of artwork available. Allison was extremely helpful in helping me find just the right birthday card for my mom. She was also happy to provide her expertise on local artists and help me navigate her store! The pricing was also very reasonable to me as well and I will definitely be a returning customer.

Toni Stinnett: Allison does an amazing job and is very helpful with deciding on a frame and mat. I also love all of the art that is available for purchase. This is image is art that I purchased and that she framed.

Natalie Weizenbaum: Four Corners has framed most of the art in our home. We keep coming back because they keep doing such a stellar job.

Michelle.H: Very fair, friendly, funny, knowledgeable business owner who knows her trade like the back of her hand. Highly recommended!

Madeline B Galbraith: framing and creative expertise many times over the past 10 years to embellish our permanent art collection at the School. She did an amazing floating frame on a 6 foot x 3 foot tapestry and she has framed a few original paintings from regional and nationally-known artists. She has a wide selection of frames, a lot of nice prints and cards as well as original artwork and jewelry for that special gift.

Baas Framing Studio: what do users think?

S. Jordan Lee: This is my go to place for mats and frames.I usually end up buying gifts there too, either for me or the people in my life

Karen Lark: . I have gotten my mom multiple gifts from the shop that she adores. I will certainly be stopping back by before the next birthday to pick up something special.I am delighted with all of the framed artwork I have brought home from Baas, and am eagerly awaiting the completion of the next framing project!TLDR: go here for your framing projects. You’ll love it.

Miles Lark: and media. Colleen makes the process fun, easy and brings an experienced eye that always elevates the ideas I came to the table with. The majority of the team has years of framing experience, and have an awnser with an explanation, to whatever you throw at them.

Kes Suhr: Baas Framing Studio is a fantastic place for picture/art framing, but also a neat stop to pick up wonderful candles, art, and various fun goodies. Really pleasant staff, too!

Fino Fugate: , it would be difficult but not impossible to find plexiglass large enough for this task. They went to their vendors and got to work making it happen. Due to a minor setback with the frame, it took longer than they expected to complete the piece, but they kept in contact with me every step of the way. A few months later, I picked up the piece which was wrapped so well to avoid any damage during transit. When I got it home and unwrapped it, I was absolutely blown away! I cannot thank the team at Baas enough for the incredible work they did on such a sentimental piece of art. Nothing is impossible for this team! Highly recommend!

Daniel Parks: I have had eight pieces done at this studio at the time I am writing this and have been thrilled with every single one. The staff are friendly and professional, and the owner, Kerrie, has wonderful thoughts on how to deliver the best result. It is not cheap. But when it comes to framing you get what you pay for and I've always felt the result warrants the price.

Nick Foster: We love this frame shop and won't go anywhere else. My daughter and I have gotten so many pieces framed here and always walk away happy and looking forward to framing the next piece. Great service, reasonable prices and always a timely turnaround.

Arthur Torelli: They make your artwork look the best!

Ms. Kidhe: These kind people. 💞I admit to being the worse client...but they were so patient and accommodating. I can't say how grateful I am for their kindness and amazing detail to my artwork. The framing of my Daniel Minter piece is perfect!

David Sandler: I can't say enough good things about this shop and the owner, Karrie. I had a difficult piece to frame - a lot of pins on canvas. Karrie suggested a solution that I had not thought of and it turned out beautifully. She and her staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they do great work.

Heidi Toppel: Custom frame shop with people who care about your project

Collin McCormack: We've brought a few things to be framed at Baas now and we've been really pleased with all of the results. The service is very professional and they've been extremely helpful with ideas and suggestions. Prices are reasonable for their exceptional results.

Frame Up Studios: what do users think?

Austin Carson: AMAZING WORK! Thank you.

Felix Salamanca: That seems fine to me

Judy Cobb Dailey: Excellent service, thank you Eric. Beautiful result. Very reasonable cost.

Cody: Great for frames but varying print quality. I love the frames I've gotten here and had been satisfied with the few prints I had previously purchased, but I left today a little disappointed.I opted for a higher quality cold press than the basic prints I had previously purchased; unfortunately, the quality didn't match the new price point. There was some damage just above the lower right corner. When I pointed it out and asked if they could trim the print, assuring them I didn't need or want a reprint, they instead told me that framing it would cover the damage. While I was already planning to frame it and while the frame does cover any damage, I still know it's there. And paid as much as 2 prints at a "lower" quality. Also, there was a fair bit of dust/debris on the print. I had to wipe it off before framing it. I don't recall this being a problem with my previous prints, but it was especially pronounced here.None of this is a deal breaker, and I'll definitely be back for frames, but I don't think this will be my first stop for prints going forward.Pictured is the damaged corner of the print and debris in the packaging as received.

Bonnie Kate Wolf: Absolutely wonderful job framing multiple pieces in multiple styles.

Kimberly Hay: The best customer service and beautiful work on framing pieces

Catherine MacIsaac: I was travelling here from Toronto and needed a wedding gift printed with a really quick turnaround. The staff was very professional and they did my job really quickly! I also bought a frame there and the staff put my print in it very nicely so it was ready to be gifted. Thank you to the staff, my friend loved her gift!

Astra Elane (The Gods Themselves): Quality workmanship but not cheap. 5 stars for service and quality.

David Snyder: First time buying a custom frame and didn't know what to look for. Staff was great and walked me through the whole process. The frame turned out beautiful and even better than I envisioned.

Brandy M: Awesome prints of national parks and other iconic Washington views!

sawyer lincoln: Friendly, professional staff. Take great care of my pieces while they have them.

Fremont Spine and Wellness: Amazing frames, would highly recommend!!

Mary Sciscente: Eric was so lovely! Phenomenal customer service to the very end, I would give 10 stars if I could. Definitely my go to spot for anything related to frames, glass, or portraits. Won't go anywhere else!

Ben Graham: They do excellent work every time.

Amy Morris: Must add to the chorus of praise for Frame Up Studios. I needed help with an odd little framing job - a small 3D piece - and they went out of their way to help me find the right box, matting, etc. It came out beautifully. I will definitely bring more artwork here to be framed.

Laura London: done for my fiancé's grandfather's Purple Heart and other war medals. They helped me to design the whole thing while providing recommendations on how to cut costs where possible to fit within my budget. They also were able to get it done in the timeline needed. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back for all of my framing needs!

Leo Shallat: Maddie, Tucker, Snow and Tom are an amazing team. I've worked with them framing my art for years now and they always do incredible work. I recommend this place to artists and collectors alike!

Tiffany Dae: I've had something like 40 or 50 pieces framed by Maddie at Framesmith. She's incredible and always takes a ton of time to help me decide on the perfect frame for my paintings. She always works with me on price and makes things really reasonable. The quality of their work and craftsmanship is fantastic.

Aplih A: I was so happy to have find this in the area. The whole frame smith crew delivers excellent service, transforming ordinary frames into works of art with precision and expertise. I lost the beauty of one of the paintings in a move and they brought it back to life artistically. Since then I this is my go to place for any custom framing work.Craftsmanship:The attention to detail and craftsmanship are evident in every frame. Whether it's selecting the appropriate style or understanding preservation techniques, the insightful advice contributes to informed decision-making.Fair Pricing:The pricing reflects a fair balance between the high-quality service and the value received. Transparent and reasonable, the cost is justified by the superior craftsmanship and personalized approach.

Baby “Baby” Claypool: Favorite frame shop ever

Ben Rinehart: Phenomenal quality of work, friendly staff, owner works full time there and previous owner works as a consultant for tough jobs. They even let me change my requests even after they ordered some of the parts! I had to lobby them to Let me pay a cancellation fee for the inconvenience. This is what quality ethical business looks like. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Annah Kim Nelson-Feeney: Maddie, Tucker, and crew are so helpful and excited to work with you. I have taken personal and professional projects here and have done some super ornate framing that creates new kinds of art itself along with more subtle and inconspicuous gallery style framing. The quality cannot be beat!!

Tina Wagner: Where to start?! First things first, if you’re walking into Maddie’s shop you’ve made the right choice. You aren’t *just* getting your artwork framed, you’re getting an experience! Maddie’s super power is finding and creating the *perfect* frame for your cherished artwork. Her passion for her craft is palpable, and when she’s helping to pick out your perfect frame you feed off of her creative energy which makes for a truly exciting and unique experience! Every time I’ve come to pick up a piece from her I am absolutely floored. If you love your artwork and it needs a new home, bring your pieces to Framesmith. Seriously, stop reading this review and get down there! 11/10, stellar experience every single time. Maddie is my frame queen for life!

JB McRee: I have had nothing but positive experiences and go back to Maddie for all my custom framing needs. She has a great selection, is very creative and always go over and beyond!Attaching a photo of my most recent project. She used a new frame press technique which allowed the canvas map to be mounted directly onto a piece of MDF. No glass required. Highly recommend!

Chad Crummer: While looking to support a local business I stumbled across a gem. The nicest people, wonderful quality and professionalism. Definite referrals from me.

Edward Wenger: Friendly staff

susan peterman: Well done!

Rebecca Zak: These guys are among the best in the area. They pay great attention to detail, have a well curated selection, are very professional, and have great prices. I came in with 2 canvases that I wanted stretched, and upon opening the tube that contained them I found out that they had been cut off their frames so they couldn't be stretched again. These guys came to the rescue - they had a method of putting a canvas on a board that would preserve it and then putting a frame around it. I'm so glad I did this option because adding the frame to these paintings gives them so much more presence. We picked a simple, high quality wood frame to go around the paintings, and it complements them very well. The employees here are all wonderful to work with and give great attention and care to each piece. Would highly recommend.

Kathleen McLaughlin: Amazingly talented staff, highly creative and very attentive to every detail. Great inventory of framing inventory and possibilities. Have been doing business with them for over twenty years and never, ever been disappointed.

Michelle Heimerl: I was given a gift of an antique German landscape painting for my birthday and reached out on social media to ask who to take it to for framing. My neighbors recommend Framesmith. I checked it out with my husband, who was a professional printer for 20 years and is very picky about art. There's a great workshop area to try different frames and styles. I picked up my framed painting today and I'm in love. The service was excellent - Tom called around to ask pricing on professional restoration, took photos of the back before it was matted, etc. The woman working there got our vibe quickly and recommended a mat/sub frame that was perfect. I almost want to buy more art just to work with this shop again! If you are looking for a frame shop, go here.

T. Lively: I recently received my CFP designation and Tom walked me through various options of how to make it pop in my office and I love the frame, the service, and the great atmosphere of customization that you can receive. Full service group, that's for sure. Thanks!

Lucky Rabbet Custom Framing & Artistry: what do users think?

Jamie J.: . We found out it was a power pack/cord issue, not the lights. The next thing out of Karl's mouth was, "Why don't I give you my power cord off our shadowbox until we can get you a replacement." Karl was going to let me borrow the power cord to his advertising shadow box out front of his store in order to make sure the address and hours were guaranteed to light up on mine. Who does that?! I declined and just asked him to get me a couple new cords and have them shipped to me. He not only took care of that right away, but did so at a price I just had to jump on. Thanks Karl for reminding people that businesses can be run with integrity, and still be focused on customer care and support. You are a testament to true success my friend!

Frank Angus: I came in to get a gift framed for Christmas, the owner gave me a deal because he liked the project and was trying to give back to the community. Very kind and sweet place that also gets top notch work done practically over night. Get you framing done here.

Vivian Mills: Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable staff.

Leslie Lowe: The best framing shop in Seattle! I have had custom frames made here and today they installed a great hanging system on the back of a newly acquired painting. They are thoughtful, professional, kind and generous with their time and knowledge. It is such a pleasure to interact with people that love what they do.

Annette Quayle: Great service. Very helpful in deciding how to best re-frame a piece of art. Free delivery. I highly recommend!

Indigo Dandelion Lee Mané: They are extremely knowledgeable, talented, and professional. Would 100% recommend for any and all framing needs.

Chantale D.: Hillary, the owner, has framed many things for me over the years, and I’m so thankful for her artistic eye, helpful suggestions, attention to detail, and her timeliness and speed at which she was able to return my items. I’ve been so pleased and wow’d with the results every time and thankful for the great, warm, and professional customer service from her and her team. I always look forward to visiting her shop!

Gloria Wang: An adorable yet very professional framing business. During the design consult, I really felt that it was a collaborative effort to let the frame add and reflect the piece it was going to fit over, as if it was an extension of the piece itself. Both the owner and other staff personnel have a strong eye for minor color differences, to detail, and to consideration on both the visuals and structure. I really appreciate the true transparency and consideration for budget as well. It was my first time getting a piece framed, and will be coming back here for all my framing needs in the future. Definitely would recommend.Local business, woman-owned!

Annie's Art and Frame: what do users think?

Lei Ann Shiramizu: While looking for a thank you note with a fish motif, I scoured Annie's Art and Frame's vast selection of cards to no avail. I asked the associate working if she knew of any secret stash that I might've missed. She asked me to wait while she rummaged around the back and came out with the perfect card! Thank you for the kind and patient service. And of course, the cute card, too. PS I tried to upload a photo of the card, but Google kept rejecting it, so you'll just have to go to the store and see the selection for yourself.

Kearstin Williams: Our sales person did such a great job helping us find the perfect frame. When we liked the wood frame, they offered without prompting to see what other woods were similar but cheaper and were happy to pull 4/5 different wood frames, thicknesses, etc in addition to a ton of different color frames.Ultimately the cows look amazing and I feel like they helped us get to the perfect frame for them!Including this floating spacer so it’s flush but not right up against the canvas!

Amanda Duong Tran: I brought in an art print and frame hoping to get a custom mat cut and fitted. Their employee directed me to the scraps bin, which they offered at a lower price point compared to cutting a fresh mat. They patiently waited while I deliberated colors, and also offered to cut an additional mat to replace the too-thick backing on my frame. It wasn't busy, so after cutting everything, they even carefully assembled it all for me. The total was $8, and my piece was ready to hang! Top notch service.

Adam Poole: and the staff is always super helpful in creating a beautiful product that makes sense from a cost of project to cost of art perspective. They're not worried about upselling you - they're worried about your happiness with the outcome on all fronts.

Andy: Absolutely Amazing place with Extraordinary people working there. Stop by to see what's new, and you will be surprised.Thank you

Bird Designs & Writing: The staff were lovely, all the art was beautiful, and we were helped immediately. Great spot for quality framing.

Frank Ruiz: I took some art and some posters I wanted to have framed and they did a very good job. They helped me find the perfect match and fit for my art and helped make an informed decision. Prices are not the lowest but it also depends on what you are willing to spend, they have frames for almost every budget. Turnaround time was faster than they had originally scheduled

O T: Called before opening and the kind employees got me into the store 30 minutes early to pick them up because I was in a rush. Got these in France and needed em framed. Go here. Beautiful.

Ianthe Cytokine IV: Great place for gifts

Izzi Humes: awesome store full of cool art! candles pins and figures galore

Peter Beshai: Needed to get a mat custom cut to fit my frame and art piece and the folks here that helped me were friendly, helpful and fast! They guided me through picking a good mat for my piece. Once I chose, they quickly cut and mounted everything in the frame, wrapped it in paper and sent me on my way all in under 20 minutes. I'd definitely shop here again! Plus they have so many fun items to browse while you're there.

Alanna Matteson: They are the best!

Jen Harris: Visited there from Canada recently and wished I had got a few prints. Called down today with a vague description of what I was looking for , and the gentleman on the phone found it right away! Very helpful! tha k you! will visit again

Andrea Ryder: , and consulted on frames and backing for my artwork. Quality work and knowledgeable staff, highly recommend!

Paige Hartman: and a great shop with lots to choose from. I can't recommend them enough.

Jennifer Oakes: Friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. I had two pieces that I needed to have matted and framed. I wasn't sure of what I wanted for the matts, but the associate was really helpful, patient, and showed me a ton of options. He selected one I wouldn't have known to pick myself, and it brought everything together so well. They were also responsive with clear communication. I would definitely use them again!

Steve Meyers: I purchased an original oil painting from a new artist I've been introduced to. Ian at Frame Central was a tremendous help to me. I brought the the art piece into the shop and we compared various styles of frames that may work with the piece. We both agreed one frame would be best. I ordered it and picked it up 10 days later. It looks fantastic. I'll ask for Ian the next time I bring a piece in to frame.Steve MeyersBallard

Sharon Hagerty: Thank you so much! Great frame work.

Joanie Walbert: I love working with the crews at Frame Central. I’ve been a client of the Capitol Hill location for years, and I just started going to the Wallingford location as well. In every case, I love showing up to the shop open to the creative ideas of the Frame Central folks - it always results in an amazing realization that pushes the original art piece to something even cooler than imagined. I love working with Frame Central and I love the process.

Megan Pinkk: I’m really pleased with my frame and matting it’s exactly what I wanted! They are super helpful at helping design the positioning and matting and they have so many options to choose from which felt a little overwhelming at first but they helped navigate and narrow it down to just what I wanted.

Katherine Wyman: fantastic experience, if i could give it more stars, I would. From the selection of materials all the way to the reveal, beautiful work. highly recommend!

Lake City Picture Framing Inc: what do users think?

Virgil Alonso: Love this place. Been lucky enough to work with Jill every time and she has been great and patient. If you are looking to get something framed, bring the thing in and plan on spending a significant amount of time. They will help go through every option and price things out for you to reach the aesthetic you want.Super informative, super helpful, no hard selling.

Kyle Bishop: Amazing experience! Customer service was great and replaced a broken pane of glass on an important frame. The price was fair and the project was done in a split! They really made my day!

Hailey Opacich: We are so happy to have stumbled upon Lake City Picture Framing! We have had 3 projects done by Doug so far. One was a surprise from my fiancé- Doug took creative freedom in framing an ad from the NYT for me and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Our latest project we posed to Doug- a frame for our Frame TV. With so many crazy options out there, we asked if it was something that we could do through them- as we wanted to get it local and have some character. He took the challenge and made us the most beautiful, one of a kind tv frame that adds so much to our gallery wall that’s a work in progress. They’ve made us customers for life and we can’t wait to go back!

Le Ho: Favorite frame shop. Reasonable pricing, great selection, expert framers.

Keegan Boyd: We love this place. They do great, quality work. We were just there and everyone was so helpful. Big thank you to everyone and special shoutout to Mo for all their patience

Tanya Schoen: My first time patronizing this grand frame and art shop! Wonderful selection of ready made frames along with a mind boggling selection of frame moulding for your customized frame project. I am having a customized piece of art framed. I also brought in 2 block art pieces that were framed with ready mades with the help of Doug who educated and assembled together on the spot! It was nice to conversate on other topics than the work at hand. This is what makes this business stand out from all the rest. I will be coming back to have my other items reframed with their selection and expertise! Be pleasantly surprised!

Terran Wheeling: Doesn't look like much from the outside on smoldering Lake City Way. But it is Much. Full service frame shop with associated artist supplies. The person helping me select everything was very helpful & knowledgeable while educating me on things I know nothing about when I went in to get a couple pieces framed. There is a six week turn around and mine were ready in five. The frames really elevated the art. I didn't go with the inexpensive. And I'm not disappointed. This will be my go to spot if needed in the future.

Beacher2: This is a classic frame shop with all the good things that implies. The place is very large with an extensive selection of frames made from real moldings properly joined unlike the poor quality ready mades available at the chain stores. One would still have to purchase glass and whatever mattes they desired but they would have a semi custom frame that would last a lifetime.Of course the real reason one visits this place is because of the exceptional staff of framing professionals that can help you choose and design a frame presentation that suits your tastes and needs.Pricing is very fair and is actually in many cases lower than what the chains offer in their very questionable “custom” offerings. Moreover, the staff is extremely knowledgeable about presentation strategies, archival materials, and the handling of delicate art works. There is literally no reason to go elsewhere if you have something to frame, preserve, or present as the quality is superb, the staff wonderful and the products top notch. They also have a small selection of artists materials for those needing some things for their studio.Parking is excellent in the lot in front of the store.

Shannon Jones: A truly amazing organization of extremely competent, fast, friendly and professional staff.

Kristina SOKOURENKO: Incredible shop. Come here every time.

Rachel LaRoche: This framing shop does it all! They have been here for over 30 years with the same owner. Local, local, local! Great owner and staff. Professional work. We highly recommend them.

Richard Ferguson: . Everyone has been wonderful to work with, they go above and beyond, extremely knowledgeable, understanding, and will go through the options so you get what will look best with your pieces. Prices are affordable and they are honest with the timeframe. I love how everything is turning out! Thank you so much, Lake City Picture Framing!!

Christine Lemme': Very good service. Pricey but worth it.

Jose Inclan: What can I say ... WOW! I'm terrible with coming up with ideas of how things should look like. I brought my materials and they ran with it. I LOVE what they came up with. I love the edge of the frame how it has that cool edge, the museum glass is beautiful, and you can't really see it but the tickets look like they are floating in there. AMAZING! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

chris telford: The staff here took care of removing the glass, showing me all the possible glass and new frame options and gave me a price. They gave me a time frame of how long it may take but they smashed

cynthia gregory: One of the very best shopsthat can solve all your problems & make beautifulresults of your photos & art

Sean McGilloway: Came in to get a custom piece of glass for a frame I’m building. Staff was really nice and helpful.

John McKee: life story.I figured in these tight supply times, it was going to take weeks and cost hundreds. They took it in and replaced the glass

Kate Carr: I had a great experience with this framing art gallery. One of their representative was extremely patient and knowledgeable and did an outstanding job of helping me organized the best possible options with the framing process. I was very satisfied.

Fine Impressions Gallery: what do users think?

David G: Great source of a wide variety of art prints, and for custom irregular framing jobs this is the place to go. The framing process is easy and affordable, and the employees are super helpful. They are a small shop and tend to have a backlog though, so this might not be the best place for rush jobs.

Charlie Blackman: Great framing @ good price plus some really interesting Native incl. Cape Dorset prints

Shay Moore: Local framing for 30 years. They live here, they work here, and they know they're y business.

LJ: I've bought a ton of art here and Paula does all my framing. She's very talented, a joy to talk to, and has great taste.

Andrew Lee: Wonderful framing store. Paula was very welcoming and helpful. I was really impressed by the selection of prints and paintings available for purchase. The breadth of selections makes Fine Impressions a worthwhile visit. I didn’t end up buying anything but the turnaround time for adding wires to the back of a couple paintings was very quick and very reasonably priced. I will make them my preferred framing store and suggest you do as well.

Leslie Butterfield: Paula and Carol do ALL my artwork - from the most modern to the antique. They are so good at what they do and they really understand my tastes and preferences. I've probably come here about 20 times and I've been really happy with every single piece of work.

Heidi Rahn: The ladies who run the store are so knowledgeable and accommodating! You can tell they really love what they do. Make sure to call first, as it's by appointment, currently.

Theresa Ream: What a treasure trove! Expert framing assistance and a wide range of art to purchase. Some museums would be envious. And a variety of mediums to please any art lover's taste. Now I need to find more wall space!

Sarah Thomas: Great people, I have used them many times. They do an beautiful job and the shop is a treasure trove of interesting and unique art and prints.

N Kristine: These women are very creative and take a personal interest in your artwork. The framing is flawless and the advice is priceless. They also have some very nice artwork for sale!

Queen Anne Museum Quality Framing: what do users think?

Mackenzie Smith: Went to MQF with a rush project that needed design help as well. They helped me find a solution, meet my deadline and find the cheapest method! The end result was great. The original idea was for people to sign on the matte around the image as a going away gift but it looked so good the recipient didn't want to do that!

Paris Werner: High quality work! I had been wanting to frame a sentimental painting for a while, but wasn't sure where to go. I'm glad I chose this place because my painting does look like it belongs in a museum now! The price is reasonable too depending on the size, type of frame, etc. Will return for any future frame jobs!

Connor Lashus: Great experience. I knew nothing about the process going in, and they were able to talk me through everything and provide reasonable recommendations based on their expertise. Very much appreciated.

Ryan Grantier: High recommend to bring your cherished works to frame them the way they deserve. The attention to detail and time spent to get it right was beyond what we expected. We’ll be back for sure!

Linda Josephson: My daughter got her license to be a practicing engineer recently. There are some things that you know you will be around for a lifetime -- and they're worth framing. QA Museum Quality Framing did a BEAUTIFUL job. And her certificate is now a family treasure.

Albena Cara Ingalsbe: We have been clients of Museum Quality Framing since 1998. The design ideas and the craftsmanship remain unrivalled. We had two small and very intricate graphics framed for less than $350 total. You’d think this may not be a milestone of an order comapared to our $1300-ish purchases, but I was treated with the same consideration, attention and patience as always. Superb results. Thank you!

Arlene G Cohen: Excellent work!

Chad Mathis: I randomly picked Queen Anne Museum Quality Framing because they are located close to home to help me frame a very large painting. With the frame the picture ended up being too large too fit up the stairs. I reached out to Queen Anne Museum Quality Framing looking for suggestions but not expecting much given it was my issue. Not only did they have suggestions, but they only charged me for the new work to reduce the size of the painting and stretcher. I had no expectation of this and was completely blown away by their guarantee and service. Prior, they were the only company that helped with pickup and delivery of the art. All I can say is 'Wow!' They also had the best price. Needless to say, I am a customer for life.

Bernie Macias: Have had a few pieces framed here. They are friendly and offer great advice.

Alison Young: I am so impressed by the attention to detail and the beautiful framing done! I am so grateful and feel very fortunate to find you! Many thanks for finding the right frame and the beautiful framing of an unusual artwork both in size and character. I appreciate your professionalism and expertise! Sincerely, Alison

Leith McAlister: Great place. You get expert service and attention and it does not matter if your budget is large or small. Everyone gets treated well.

Mark Moore: I'm very happy with the finished framing. Their advice was spot on choosing colors and materials. The staff communicates well with customers.

Candice Cihon: Very customer friendly shop who offers alot of expertise and options for framing.

Andrew Adams: I had an odd-sized item custom framed. They made the process easy to understand and it came back looking great.

Will Jensen: Friendly staff with great recommendations for frame size, color and style. Good value for the quality of work, will use again 👍🏻

Emily Warner: Queen Anne Museum Quality Framing does such a good job! My art looks beautiful!I highly recommend them. Please support the neighborhood businesses!

So when ever you are in Seattle please drop by Innervisions Records you will be shocked for what they have to offer.

Jill Mimms (JayBird1220): One of my favorite spots to go hunting for a great mix of new releases and classics! It’s a one stop shop for all things art and music and Eva is always happy to help directing you to any services you might be in need of. In addition to selling posters they also do custom framing! I owe most of my collection to this shop- as well as a good chunk of my wall decor!

It's a really inviting and nostalgic space, and the folks working there are friendly and helpful. The store takes me back to my early years in Seattle because it's been around for such a long time in the exact same spot on U-Way. I'm happy that it's back now, with so much cool stuff for sale at great prices.
