Even though I'm not usually one to tolerate spicy food, it's so intricate and well made I don't even mind.Chef Edna and her family are warm and welcoming and will often say hello. It is always a joy to experience the World Cafe!

We chose goldfinch which was just a hop, skip, and a jump from our hotel.We made reservations and got a seat by the window. The food and drinks were amazing and the waitstaff was even more amazing! They noticed me struggling to take a selfie with me and my friend and offered to take a picture for us. Our water glasses were never more than half empty, and everything was worth the price we paid. They also asked if we had any dietary restrictions when we ordered. Will definitely be going back if I’m ever in Seattle for a special occasion.

Every interaction is polite, attentive and professional.We have gone to Altura for my birthday two years in a row. We will be going again for our anniversary in two months.Both experiences, the food and presentations were beautiful and delicious. Each menu was a different experience with a few staples we loved from our previous visit. Everything is amazing, there wasn't a single item or dish we were even slightly disappointed by. The flan was creamy and came with lots of sauce. Service here is still attentive. A good place to be at if you have like 1.5 -2 hours for dinner .The place is small with around 4-5 tables tucked tightly together upstairs and a couple more downstairs. It is best to get a reservation.The octopus and oxtail were definitely my favorite. The octopus was smoky and not fishy . The oxtail was wrapped in a crunchy shell and full of flavor.Bread is bread, I wouldn't get it.I would come back to this place .

Michael Delamere: Each item of food ordered was excellent. If I had to choose one item though as my favorite it would be the Patatas Bravas. Service was very good; friendly and accommodating. Prices are fair. Parking is on the street so can be hit and miss but there are free spots if you can get them. Easy to locate. Would highly recommend and look forward to all subsequent visits I may have!

Yes I can understand the premium price. You are getting 17 different cuts of meats and seafood is included like the salmon and prawns. If your a foodie and love variety this is a great place. I certainly enjoyed it with each bite smiling away.If you just want the salad bar you can opt for that and the price will be cheaper. The bar is nice too. From stews, rices, many types of salads, cheeses, and meats, it’s hard to disappoint patrons. My family and I definitely loved our first experience here.My favourites were all the meats and seafood. The grilled pineapple also hits different. Smokey and savory.4 adults and a 3 year old child. Came out to $66 each plus $10 for the child before tax and 20 percent gratuity. The service we had is incredible. The staff was very attentive. We were served by a young gentleman and a pretty slim lady with dark hair.I would definitely return here again. DMeganR: Love that reservations are available. Sunday brunch was super yummy. Filipino breakfast passed muster with my Filipino husband, was delicious. Gluten free options always a gold star for me. Coffee was A+. Not the friendliest service, but also not unfriendly, so I guess it depends if you care about that kind of thing. Most importantly all the food was very well prepared.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for dairy and gluten issues.

We all agreed that the food was some of the best we have had in years. Each of us had a favorite - mine was the black cod and the Matiz sardines on toast. Ryan Chavez: This place is a great little restaurant. Get a reservation while you can! Dinner was fantastic! This place runs like clockwork since there are two chefs making all the food. It's quite a feat! The French Onion Soup is so cheesy and sweet, highly recommended. We followed it up with the Spring Salad which was refreshing. Our main entrees were the Halibut and Pork Tenderloin. Both were so delicious. The pork was light yet hearty and the fish a perfectly crispy skin. The servers were super friendly and personable. Even though they were plenty busy, they took their time to stop and chat and answer questions. Definitely coming back!
