Saltstone Ceramics: what do users think?

Olivia Rother: Had a wonderful time at the clay curious class! Great instruction and a perfect introduction into clay and using a wheel.

Vianki Bruenderman: I attended the beginner's class and it was a delightful experience! Amazing Instructors, great equipment, and a really fun time overall. Absolutely worth the cost. I'll be back.

Katie Shadler: My rugby teammates and I had an awesome private group class! Most of us had never created pottery before and Tori was an amazing instructor! Not only were they extremely knowledge and helpful to our rambunctious group, but their down-to-earth nature made the class very enjoyable. We learned many techniques and were able to make each of our pieces our own. We were laughing and had the best time the entire two-hour session. Basically, the vibes were immaculate – I highly recommend for anyone to take a class!

Melody Montgomery: We recently took the Clay Curious class and it was excellent. If you've never touched clay or a pottery wheel, they take you step by step what you need to do, show you, and help you if you're having trouble. Tori made it fun and kept you from getting frustrated if it didn't quite work the way you thought. They make it easy for you to be successful.

Alicia Dibble: .

Eva Macdonald: We had the best time at Saltstone - our team of 5 booked a private introductory class for a morale event, none of us had real experience with wheel throwing. Tori was our instructor, and they were fantastic - they did an excellent job of walking us through the many steps, helping when we got stuck, and coaching us through the whole process to complete a couple of items in the relatively short time we were there. We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back for another lesson sometime! Plus there was some very cool pottery pieces for sale and the 10% off day of class was a nice perk. Thanks again for a lovely morning!

Heather Baglien: My husband and I took a class for a date night and had a great time learning from Tori! Well worth the trouble of finding a baby sitter and we can't wait to pick up our bowls

Gisele Gelle: Great instruction, fun environment, absolutely loved it. It was the perfect date night for my husband and I. We loved it so much we’re planning to go again next month.

Brooke Bachesta: So fun and a great date night! The instructor was amazing and the environment was a ton of fun.

Gary Medeiros: Great place for a pottery class. The instructor is very knowledgeable and slowly explains how to work the clay and Wheel.

Nikilesh Subramaniam: Had a lot of fun and Tori was an informative and fun instructor! I like how they emphasized imperfection in our art!

Elena Kostyreva: I took a ceramics class here and the class & instructor was very warm, inviting and informative. In the class, you are given kne-on-one time if you need more further instruction. It's a really great thing to invest in to have fun while learning something new. You get to see all the things other people have made in thr shop which is really cool too!

Sarah Sinnema: Highly recommend a private lesson for beginners! We learned a lot from Jude and are so happy with the pieces we made. Love the space, it was comfortable and welcoming and we were given everything we needed to let our creative juices flow.

Sahira Barajas: Fabulous! I loved my first experience at Saltstone. The space is very nice and welcoming, the staff were great and I got to hand build a mug. Definitely recommend and will take more classes soon! Gracias!

Leslie Guandique: I did the Clay Curious class with Derek! This was my first time doing anything pottery and I was definitely nervous. Derek explained very well what steps we needed to take and even though I ended up with a clay monstrosity, I feel like I know what to do to make it better next time! Had a great time!

Lyn Cowie: A super introductory class! Thank you.

Stephanie Okafor: Such an amazing experience! 10/10!

Sean's Clay Corner: what do users think?

Louis DeTulleo (DoctorLou):

Jimmy Ferrari:

Kris Panchyk: Great place to come and play with clay!

Nora Hager: Awesome time and hours if you love pottery go here

Elizabeth Jimmerson-Alaeddinoglu: Sean’s Clay Corner is a fantastic and versatile studio and class space. It is well managed and has a great cooperative, encouraging and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended for all levels of ceramics enthusiasts.

lee white: excellent creative space, easy to find, great instructors, low key no pressure opportunity to learn pottery basics and advanced pottery skills. Sean the owner is a master at bringing out the best in his students and their creative inner talent. In the heart of Fremont, close to SPU, very well located.

Brace Point Pottery: what do users think?

Alex Sargeant: A great place to find local art.

Jonathan Fischer: A great local business

Pamela Alegnani: I am a local neighbor and art lover. Aaron and the artists his team brings in inspires you. The vibe is warm with very laid back West Seattle people that are so creative our jaws' have dropped! Wonderful to have them in our 'hood as this Pandemic seized our want to visit art. Of all sorts! Visual, experimental, music/concerts, sports, no sporting events like the fun adventure racing.etc!!! . But we certainly get that from local artists at this studio.

Elaine Lee Paoliello: Beautiful work and wonderful customer service.

Merrilee Coverdale: Wonderful experience. Pottery and other artwork exceptional quality and friendly owner/potter. Loren Lukens.

Diane Venti: Best little hidden art spot in southwest Seattle. Worth a drive out to see Lorena beautiful pottery! There is always artwork by guest artists as well.

David Somers: This is a delightful gallery that the artist began in the front of his studio. Although most of his work appears in galleries scattered around the nation he holds back some excellent functional and artistic pieces for display here. He also began displaying work from various local artists of note which makes for an eclectic and enjoyable gallery. The artist and his apprentices are also unearthed enjoyable to talk with. I have always enjoyed my visits here.

Seattle Pottery Supply: what do users think?

rachael: Lots of cool supplies

Melissa Morrison: Great selection. Many clays to choose from. Lots of helpful staff. Glad I don't live to far from them!

shawn wood: Easy to use website, fast shipping. Over the years I have struggled to find a consistent supplier for materials. Most ceramic supply stores must be run by unorganized artists that are too "right-brained" to manage a business. Seattle Pottery Supply seems to be the exception. Every time I've ordered the orders have been shipped complete and promptly. I'm in Utah but Seattle Pottery Supply is now my go to supplier for clay pottery supplies and materials.

Sarah Burfoot:

Casey Tompkins:

Eric Nguyen: An amazing human being and a wonderful studio is what you’ll find at Akiko’s Pottery.

Light Foot By Coni: Friendly and nice store. Their pottery are amazing and beautiful, we love the mug we bought there.Their pieces are made and designed in Japan.

Stephanie Scott: Akiko made me a beautiful set of dishes! I'm so happy with them even though it was a long turnaround time from order to product. Her work is definitely worth the wait!

Maximilian Stein: Akiko is great!

MTL: We are very happy with the beautiful tea cups Akiko made for us. Everything she makes is beautiful and well-crafted.

Mark Roth: Wonderful, unique pottery.

Edward Moydell: Amazing work and delightful to work with! Akiko has twice made custom plates, bowls, saucers, and other serveware for me and my organization. The quality and artistry of the work is stellar and the pieces are durable and safe in the dishwasher. Her prices are very reasonable considering the quality and time required to produce them.

DeAnna LaFrombois: Nice people

Bri: Beautiful pottery! Akiko has many pre-made pieces, but also makes items for order, and it's worth the wait! Try out an open house, as the website just shows a fraction of the lovely items she creates.

With its diverse range of classes and workshops in various disciplines, from glassblowing to metalworking, Pratt fosters creativity and skill development. The facility is well-equipped, and instructors are knowledgeable, providing a supportive environment for both beginners and experienced artists. Additionally, Pratt's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity enhances its appeal as a hub for artistic expression in the Seattle area.

Sruti Lankireddy: I really enjoyed my class at Pratt - I took the 1 day class in color theory. The teacher was knowledgeable and explained the concepts clearly with exercises that reinforced the concepts. I’d love to take another class here.

Jeff Jeff: Great equipment and excellent classes. Classes are also a remarkably good value when you consider the cost per hour of instruction.

June Park: They offer a variety of classes at different levels and the instructors are amazing. I’ve taken different classes so far and feel very grateful that Pratt exists in Seattle!

S Day: Learn something useful already.

Hailey: I have had a wonderful experience with Pratt so far. I just completed the introductory stone carving class with Leon White. It was an 8 week series from 6p-10p every Wednesday. Our group of 8 bonded and had a blast learning how to use the hand and power tools. I was an absolute beginner yet I learned a lot and had so much fun. Very nonjudgmental and supportive environment. Looking forward to taking the next class in the series.

MDH: Big studios, good equipment and facilities. Instructors are super knowledgeable and friendly. They were explaining the process in detail which made me a bit more confident when working with hot flames.I had a blast in the glass studios. There is plenty of free parking around the building.

AmberPhlame De B: They have everything, from glass to fabrication, woodworking, metalsmithing, printing. The instructors are absolutely fantastic, the buildings are a little "vétuste".

Dana Rolax: What Washington calls Pratt park, We call it Bryant Manor park, those are the connected apartments. Anyway its a wonderful park with roofed basketball court and ample parking.

Katria: I loved to print. Place is good and needs everything for some kind of printing techniques.
