Taylor Auger: I was referred to this clinic after an abnormal ultrasound, I live in a small town in Alaska so we are referred out for most things. The outcome of the ult was not good as we had suspected - but the staff throughout the clinic was magnificent, especially Tessa the genetic counselor. They set up every appointment for you, they answered any and all of my questions, they set up my other appointments outside of Swedish and prepared me for that. I could not be more grateful to have been sent to them, I can't thank them enough. 3
Sharley Gilbert: We had a great experience at our appointment yesterday. Everyone was nice and polite from the moment we walked in. We were nervous about the appointment due to the lack of information given to us by the OB office that referred us. Our ultrasound tech was wonderful and explained everything she did and was looking at. The doctor came in and was so friendly and made us feel so much better about our situation and he just reassured us that everything was going to be ok. All of our questions were answered and we felt heard about our concerns. We could not have asked for a better visit.
Kaylyn: I went to Swedish Maternal Fetal Medicine weekly for months and every single appointment I had could not have been a better experience. They are so on top of everything, I felt so well taken care of. The doctors and nurses took their time to talk to my husband and I and made sure we understood everything, and we never felt rushed. Giving birth at Swedish was an equally amazing experience. Super thankful for everyone who helped us.

Nikki Cruz: To remind my entire pregnancy we received great care from the nursing staff at the center. They were the kindest and most compassionate nurses. I really love Dr Tran she was fantastic. I wasn't crazy about all the doctors but most of the doctors were good enough. We had a hard long delivery but my emergency safe section was successful. In the aftercare was good as well.

Cal Hartmann: I have great experiences with all the Planned Parenthood locations I visit in the Seattle area, but the U District clinic really stands out with how warm, welcoming, and thorough their staff is. If you have anxiety around blood draws, this is the clinic to visit. Every tech I've seen here has made the blood draw procedure as quick and efficient as possible, and has gone above and beyond in making sure I'm okay during and after. It makes a big difference and I really appreciate it!

Amanda Lin: Hands down my favorite health clinic! The staff is so efficient and warm, and they are so respectful. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. I recently had an experience with a private gynecologist who was unbelievably rude, judgmental and completely incompetent, and I had no idea that Planned Parenthood was so special in the level of care it provides, particularly at the University center. The amazing staff member who did my women's wellness exam here talked me through the whole thing and was so wonderful and empathetic throughout it that she completely calmed my anxiety during the procedure. I wanted to give her a hug at the end. Thank you University District Health Center for providing me the best healthcare during my time as a very stressed and worried student and treating all your patients with such kindness and respect.

Bri Marie: I went in initially nervous but was assured it was a nice and safe environment. I went to this location for testing and to discuss birth control options. The staff were super helpful during my whole experience and were able to help me better understand my options regarding birth controls, testing, and payment plans. Would highly recommend

I was scheduled for a late afternoon appointment and arrived 40 minutes early and was seen immediately. Receptionist was a male and lovely and the women who took care of me inside were so sweet and informative. I felt really taken care of and had no issues with my treatment. Everything was fast and on point.

Care started at the front desk. then with the sweetest nurses. I fully trust Planned Parenthood with my body. They truly let you advocate for yourself, LISTEN to your concern, and are a safespace for LGBTQ bodies, and ALL bodies !

Every question they asked me was asked in a polite manner that made me comfortable and everything was performed only with direct permission, from a blood draw, to pulse and heart monitoring. When following up, everything was done with utmost patient care. I couldn't complain about a single thing.

Seamless appointment scheduling and intake, strong attention to privacy and respect, and my provider was super sweet and easy to talk to, ask questions, etc. It made the otherwise uncomfortable experience practically painless.

lisa cunningham: How many people do you know how rave about their experience going to a OBGYN appointment? It's not something you typically look forward to. Well, that's not the case with SWMC. What Lise has built here with this practice defies everything you think you know about how a doctor's appointment should be.Lise and her staff treat you like a whole person, and it's clear they really care about you. The clinic doesn't feel like a clinic, it feels much warmer and more welcoming. I used to prefer the anonymity of the larger health systems, but Lise and her staff take the time to build rapport and trust and have done such a good job making me feel comfortable and unashamed to talk about uncomfortable stuff.AND! And. I have begun seeing Stephanie for Physical Therapy, and it has been - literally - life changing. She has helped me understand my body in a whole new way and not only do I have less pain, but I feel empowered to do what my body needs it to do to stay healthy.Obviously, I'm a fan. I can't say enough good things about this clinic.
Jenna: Lise and her staff are the best health care providers around, so much so that I commute an hour to be seen here. On my last visit I met with Angela who provided just as friendly and personal of an experience as the women’s and moms clinic is known for. Justyna Kieko: I’ve always been a fan of planned parenthood for what they stand for and the services they provide, but can honestly say my recent experience with them deserves some recognition. The staff is awesome, and they make you feel welcome, comfortable, supported & heard. I felt I received better attentive care with them than my own primary care physician of 25+ years. My entire two visits here, from getting scheduled and being seen within the same week by the receptionists, to my in house visit with the medical assistant and clinician, was the best that I could’ve ever hoped for. They were all so kind and thorough, and they handled the entire process gently with extreme care. I really appreciate all of them, and I hope they all realize how grateful I am of each and everyone of them.

Carol Barnes: I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon Emma and Seattle Pregnancy Massage. I've been going regularly throughout pregnancy and it helps me stay relaxed and grounded. The side pillow set up she uses feels incredibly supportive and soothing. I kind of wish non pregnancy massages used the same set up! I highly recommend you book with her.

At 38 weeks pregnant, the aches and pains finally caught up to me, but I had always heard that pregnancy massages in general were not very restorative and was hesitant to book. I found Emma on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. This turned out to be hands down one of the best massages I've ever had! Emma was polite, professional, and clearly loves what she does. I felt comfortable the entire time, and left feeling relaxed, replenished and ready to tackle these last couple of weeks. I hope to see her again postpartum!

The setup she has for the table is the most comfortable I could imagine being while pregnant, and her massage is the perfect mix of relaxing and effective for comfort after the massage. She is also a wealth of knowledge regarding pregnancy and birth, and she always remembers everything I’ve told her and checks in on how things are going. I just booked a postnatal massage and can’t wait to be back.

Shoshana Packer: Working with Emma really showed me the value of seeing a prenatal expert, rather than a more general masseuse. I came in with what I thought was a tight back and Emma realized was actually coming from trigger points in my ribs because of where the baby was sitting. She even taught me how my husband could help massage them at home.
Amanda McKane: This postpartum massage was immediately impactful addressing issues and discomfort that I had accepted as normal after having a baby and all the awkward bending and holding that comes with it. Emma explained why certain things could be causing discomfort when I asked, and educated me on how to avoid where possible. What a wonderful and warm experience- it’s clear she’s an expert in this space!

Mint Teacups: If it's hard to find stuff it's because the prices are good and someone else got it.The furniture pickup service was communicative and careful of my building's walls. They won't carry big stuff down stairs but they helped me with the elevator. Easy to use
Live Potato: I go here for all my thrift store needs. I've gotten a water jug and some silverware. They've got a decent selection of clothes too.
