Earwig Studio: what do users think?

Stuart Grayson: Working with Don at Earwig was an incredible experience. With his expertise and equipment we were able to crank out an 8 song LP in two and a half days and this was our first time recording as a band. It felt like he was both part of the artistic process but also allowed us all the space we needed to be ourselves. Thanks Don and Earwig! We will be back!

Angela Hammontree: Don at Earwig is just flat out the best! Just worked with him for the fourth time. I won't even think of going anywhere other than Earwig.

Dan Nash: I was a first-timer for mixing a song I recorded pre-pandemic at another studio, and I had met Don just before lockdown. He was on my short list if I had to do any additional recording, but also mixing of the song for release. He was able to accommodate the timeline and was quick to organize and understand a session he hadn't recorded. As I asked questions, he had fast answers and solutions and was able to offer valuable input and feedback while I was going through the process of decision making and edits to be done. He took the time to explain things thoroughly and easily and totally understood where I wanted to take the song.In the end, I had mastering ready mixes to move forward with, and the time and price were fair for the work done as well as the education I needed along the way. I'll be back to record or have him mix future work, and would recommend him highly for his ability, personality, communication, and pricing. Earwig studio was a great experience.

Stellar Jays: I can't say enough great things about our time at Earwig Studio working with Don. It was such a fun creative process, expertly steered through recording and mixing - and the final product far exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to releasing an album we're super proud of, and can't wait to record the next one at Earwig! Thanks Don!!

Grant Boling: I love this place!!! The room sounds great to start, and Don has an amazing ear. He told me he wants his studio to feel "like a cruise ship for musicians." He nailed it, because that's exactly how it felt.

Nik Swi: Mixing with Don taught me so much. Such a patient, talented, intelligent and incredible human being. It was such a great experience to the point where I think I’ll probably mix with him for many many many more projects to come. One of my favorite studios in Seattle - so much beautiful gear and such a easy going and fun environment. Black Ends had a blast here and we can’t wait to do it again. Thanks Don for everything- our recordings wouldn’t have sounded like they do without you.

Cory Foster: I had a great time recording at Earwig with my band in 2019. Don was super knowledgeable, helpful, and likable. We were in for a week and it was a very comfy vibe, not unlike a bit of a vacation. 5 stars, would definitely book again if I found myself in a position to do so.

Brennan Weiding: An absolute dream of a recording space; beautiful set of pianos on site, the verb in the drum room is fantastic; only great things to say about this space.

Christa Fischer: There is a reason Don Farwell and Earwig as a whole gets so many FIVE STAR REVIEWS! I’d give them ten if I could! My band Christa Says Yay has recorded a whole album and two EPs at Earwig over the years and as a woman in this industry I’m happy to say, it’s a good place for us on all levels. Don is professional, respectful, and prepared. Plus he’s fun, funny, kind, and has great gear. What’s not to love!?

Ignacio Izquierdo: Don is a true professional and Earwig is a stellar recording studio. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are second guessing then you will miss out on a memorable experience. 10/10 in my book!

Casey Millett: Earwig Studio has a unique, and special quality. There's a very professional atmosphere inside the studio, yet it also brings a comfortable and creative vibe. They've succeeded in building a top of the line studio, designing rooms that have that rare special sound to recordings, and having high quality equipment. I've had multiple experiences working with Don at Earwig Studio. Each one was an incredible experience in their own way, and in each session I felt like Don brought out the best in me, amd the artists i was working with. Even in times that I hit the creative wall, Don provided suggestions and creative ways to overcome challenges. I recommend Earwig to a ton of artists and bands that I come across that's looking to record their music, and capture their sound in its best quality. 5 stars feels like it doesn't do Earwing Studio the rating it truly deserves.

Christopher Newton: . But you will always get top shelf quality accompanied with some laughs and a comfortable atmosphere.

Andrew Baer: and he helped us record 8 songs in just three days. It was both productive and fun, and he really cares about the finished product. He wants it to sound as good as you do.

Brandon Eller: I've recorded with Don at Earwig Studios for both of my most recent bands. Great experience both times. Don is very talented and super patient. Highly recommend and I would definitely go back for a third time around.

Kai Strandskov: I am continually impressed with the myriad approaches Don Farwell uses to encourage top level performances. Whenever I go in, not only am I comfortable, but I'm inspired.

Scott Townley: I’ve ever spent work time in !!! - SCT

Jon Cash 1000: "Orbit Audio in Seattle was an incredible experience for my recent recording session. Robert, the engineer, brought an awesome vibe to the studio. Despite walking in without any concrete song ideas, the energy and creativity flowing between us led to a fantastic 5-hour session where we recorded two tracks. Robert's skill and professionalism were evident as we effortlessly vibed and captured the essence of the music. The outcome? Two dope tracks that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Orbit Audio and Robert for any artist looking to elevate their sound in a welcoming and productive environment."

Susy Liceaga: My bandmate and I met up in Seattle to record vocals. We had two awesome sessions engineered by Robbie Houston that were amazingly productive! The studio is very well equipped and the collaboration went so smoothly that I could just relax and have fun singing. At the end we spontaneously decided to record some instruments too. Definitely one of our best experiences as a band ever!

Josh Akers: This place was awesome. We got to experience both the temple and orbit, and both were amazing places to record. Joe was awesome to work with; patient, insightful, and helped us refine our songs to bring out the best. LiquorJacket can't wait to record here again.

Elaine Eagle: studio at Joe and his wife’s home. From the very beginning, through emailing, phone calls, meeting in person, to recording- all the way through the process of recording my music, Joe was incredibly thoughtful, easy to work with, and professional. He truly saw my vision for the music and delivered it. I am so excited to get to work with Joe again in the future!

Resonant Mastering: what do users think?

Lisa Tuininga: Great experience mastering our first album. Thank you!

Christopher Hill: Rachel does top notch work! She is observant and tunes into just what each track needs. There is no cookie cutter formula or force of habit. She is humble yet technically excellent and brings all work up a full letter grade. More dimensionality is added...like a sound version of film going through a color restoration process. The tones are brought to full bloom. A lovely harmonic landscape is created through transparent and careful compression, gentle saturation and diamond cutting precise EQ.

Jam Phelps: Rachel is incredably knowledgable and helpful. She makes all your songs sound alive and bumpin! Great customer service at a reasonable price! Highly recommend her for all your mastering needs!!

Jordan Buetow: Our band had an exceptional experience working with Resonant Mastering. Rachel mastered our latest project and is an incredible talent. Between Rachel & Ed, look no further for some of the best ears in the PNW!

Wess Meets West: Amazing and professional quality work from Ed and Rachel!

Live From Empty Sea: Rachel is the go-to mastering engineer for almost every project that comes out of my studio. A consummate professional working in a great room is a killer combo! Highly recommended.

Thomas Arndt: and have been delighted with every experience. Thanks you!

Sam Cook-Stuntz: After having the privilege of getting several of my projects mastered by Rachel, I'm going to be urging all of my clients to master their work at Resonant from now on. Every track I've sent to Rachel has come back sounding noticeably better while remaining true to the mix - the mastered song just feels like the best possible version of itself. Also, as someone who's newer to the production side of things, I appreciate how friendly, professional, and encouraging she is even when working with less experienced folks. I can't recommend her, and Resonant Mastering, highly enough!

Angela Dane: Working with Rachel Field was an absolute joy. She respected our musical vision as a band and mastered our song perfectly, giving it the power and attitude it needed. She was communicative, clear, and super easy to work with - her skill in this field is inspiring.

Leo Brodie: I've worked with Rachel several times and hopefully many more times. She's not only great at what she does, but she's very helpful about giving advice and partnering with her clients for the best end results.

Under The Puddle: Welcoming, efficient, & professional

Christian Escobar: Rachel is the epitome of professionalism. Enjoyed the process, loved the space.

Robin Alexander: We had a wonderful experience with this company. Our project mastering turned out great

Chris Rahm: Rachel Field is one of the best Mastering Engineers I’ve ever worked with. She has a great feel for what the music needs and always delivers the goods. She always make my artists feel as though their project is the most important release, no matter what. As a producer and engineer, it’s wonderful to have a talented local mastering engineer to hand my work off to and know that my musical family will be well taken care of.

Kreed Kleinkopf: My band, Hand Trembler, had our debut album: "Circadian" mastered with Rachel Field at Resonant Mastering and we couldn't be happier with the results! I felt like she cared about our music as much as we did! Like they were another member of the band. A lot of studios want to get you in and out quickly, but Rachel took the time to make our music sound it's best. When we wanted a minor thing changed she did a second revision very quickly, that made it even more perfect! They were great and I hope to work with them again in the near future.

Mirror Sound Studio: what do users think?

Alberto Sandoval: Ken and Derek at the music studio were absolutely amazing! This was our second time going in, and once again, they made our recording session smooth and efficient. We're incredibly grateful for their assistance. Our team is thrilled with the results and can't wait to come back for more! 5/5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Pleasemeish: Mirror Sound Amazing Place To Record Great People To Work With. Rick Tazer

Brian Whittington: Hello! Mr. Bri Guy here! Ken and Derek are awesome! Hey guys, I hope you are doing well! We had a huge success laying down the rhythm tracks for my 7 song release in 1 day. If it wasn't for the professionalism of Ken and Derek with their masterful sound engineering knowledge, it would not have been possible. These guys know what they are doing and do it very well. Thank you, guys! I'll see you for the next one!

russ peterson: This was my first experience in a professional studio. I expected it to be an intimidating environment, however, Derek put me at ease. He understood just what to do to get the most out of my voice. If you want to up your voice over work, look no further than Mirror Sound Studio.

It’s Trigg: anything that requires a sound studio, this is the place in Seattle.

Thais Miller: Mirror Sound Studio was professional from start to finish. I went in to record my voice over demos and Derek greeted me with such enthusiasm as if I were family. He was friendly, kind, patient and took the time to answer any and all questions I had throughout my recording. He treated me with the utmost respect and made me feel comfortable. Throughout the session, he also had a great repore with my producer and worked with lightning speed accomplishing all editing requests with ease. He was extremely personable which helped me to open up and bring out the best in me throughout my two hours session. Afterwards he showed me the rest of the studio and continued to answer any questions I might have. I highly recommend Mirror sound studios and look forward to working with them in the future. Thank you Derek and Ken for your excellent services and studio!

Ethan Hugg: I've had guitar lessons with Ken now for about 8 months and have learned much more than I expected in that time. Ken's pedagogy is mostly modeled after the great William Leavitt who established the guitar department at Berklee. So if you want to get into a school like that, or sound like you went to one, or just want a solid foundation for playing Blues, Rock, or Metal, then Ken would be a great choice as your next teacher. His rates are very reasonable for this level of instruction and lessons are done in the Mirror Sound recording studio. If you're done playing Wonderwall, and ready to practice every day and learn the skills to play almost any song, then I highly recommend you spend some time with Ken.

Sandra Manwiller: I had my voiceover demo recorded and produced at Mirror Sound. I had a wonderful experience. It was a remote directed session and there was no hiccups whatsoever. Everyone there was professional and kind. There music studio looked killer too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

Jennifer Silva Redmond: Very professional studio and staff. Day one of recording my audiobook, I worried about my slow and bumbling performance. Ken and Derek said I would improved the next day and it was true. I was so grateful for Derek's good ears and clear comments. Such nice guys. I just approved the final mastered files and they sounded great. Highly recommend

Ward Starbird: What sets this studio apart are Ken

Greg G.: If you are looking for a studio to record music, voiceovers, or get a professional mix/master, Mirror Sound Studios is a great option! The studio has a great layout, great selection of audio gear to use, and is very clean. They also offer audio recording classes that are great for beginners, or anyone looking to improve their skill set. Ken and Derek are very professional, and will take your work to the next level.

Sufy Mahmud: Big help, very professional and easy to work. Had a blast work on Voice over work.

Erin Gravina: Ken and Derek were fantastic to work with, they listened to what we wanted and they delivered both in the live recording and the mixing, and in our band’s price range. The studio has top of the line everything. I definitely want to work with them again soon!

KC Classic: Did a voiceover demo reel with them and they made it so easy and pleasant to do. I felt like they were invested in my success.

Norm Peterson: Great studio 🎙

SANCHO PO77O: what a great environment for recording music. The mood, the setting & the people are great. Highly recommend for any artist of any genre looking to work with people of similar passion. I personally record hip-hop and i could tell at first it wasn't what the engineers are normally used to but at the end of my session i was satisfied with the mixing & mastering. I'll be going back there again soon.

Nancy Malek: I had my first VO recording session at Mirror Sound Studio. Derek was great to work with-professional, fun and excellent! It was a great start to a new career! Thanks Mirror!

Chris Buckley: Ken and his team bring years of experience and a top-notch facility together in a winning mix. Mirror Sound Studio make a seamless experience for voice actors working in a directed session, even with a remote director. They clearly care as much as I do about making the talent shine. Thank you!

Kelly Casperson: The team at Mirror Sound Studio made me feel at home right away. Such a professional job and attention to detail, and I had a blast. Professional and kind. Thank you!

Geof Miller: I've done two commentary tracks for feature films with Ken and both times it was a great experience. The product turned out really well. He's easygoing. Has a very comfortable studio. His rates are reasonable. What's what's not to like?

Electrokitty Recording Studio: what do users think?

Cartel Ocultismo: How about brother, I'm interested in recording here, I've seen good comments about this place but they don't answer, how can I reach you?

Mike Charrey: Garrett is an awesome guy! Very honest and straight forward. Appreciated working with him!

Zac Baker: Really cool studio!

Mike Rothwell: This guy wrote a song called Positively Me that would be a hit if anyone with a name put it out. He should sell it for 7 figures. Sounds like something the early Beatles could've done.

Cristian Ortiz: Very efficient. Friendly! Extremely skilled! Works great with you! Definitely be coming back! Thank you Garrett!

Stefan Wolczko: Garrett is brilliant. Gear and space are fantastic. Excellent experience all around, will be back. A lot.

Kerry O'Connor: I had a great experience recording at Electrokitty! Not only is it a great price for the quality and caliber of this studio, but Garrett comes with this price!! Garrett has an amazing ear and it was clear to me after watching him edit tracks that I could trust his ear implicitly and the choices that he made. He really is an amazingly fast and talented editor and studio engineer and his speed and expertise will save you money and time! Garrett made excellent choices in microphones as well. He made everyone feel at ease and comfortable, and had great input musically and technically. I also used their acoustic piano in the studio which sounds amazing. Better than a Yamaha grand I've recorded on at a different studio. I highly recommend this studio!

Alexandra Buschke: Electro Kitty is just as purrrfect as it sounds. I recorded here and loved working with Garrett and using all the amazing equipment. They were great with helping me define my vision and I'm very happy with my finished product. Definitely reccommend!

Phil Fischer: I have tracked here for almost 20 years and some great hit songs have come out of this amazing studio. Garrett is amazing and knows the board well. Justin Armstrong is the unsung here of many a hit song and is always there to help out.You can put out a hit album here with no problem. Great vintage gear, and great techs.
