The Tasting Room: what do users think?

Markos Mezgebu: Great spot and Ariana is the best

Erin Bailie: Incredible hospitality. Our server was knowledgeable of wines, and was understanding of our time constraints. Great recommendations and service.Service: 5/5 …

Tina Burch: Popped in to wait for a table across the alley. Not a wine drinker, so I had a cider. The sommelier poured me a wine dessert, which was fantastic, so we ordered a bottle to go. Very friendly and knew their stuff. If you need a place to hang out while waiting for your reservation or just to taste good wine, this is the spot. It's off the beaten path of the traffic for Pike Place, so not many tourists come in unless they wander off.

Aiman Al Khachi (Chu): 4/8/2023: We came back here because our friend Brad works here and we didn't want to pass up the opportunity of cheese and crackers with a flight or wine. It was the first time we ordered food here and we really enjoyed the cheese and crackers!6/16/2022: Took my mom and my auntie here for wine tasting for the first time in Seattle. The experience was great, and our server was extremely kind. My auntie is new to wine and wasn't finding any of the wines to her liking. Our server brought out another one for free to help satisfy her. She was really pleased ultimately satisfying everyone. I would definitely recommend this place.

William Magill: A quiet hideaway located in Post Alley, the Tasting Room is the perfect spot for a flight sampler, glass, or bottle of wine. In the event you get caught with a long wait at The Pink Door, make your way over to kill some time in an atmosphere that is sure to relax you. The ladies behind the bar are sure to steer you in the right direction if you’re a rookie or wine connoisseur.

Millie Kwan: It has been many years since I've been to The Tasting Room. They specialize in specific local wineries which is fantastic, but it also means that their selection will be limited. Still a great place to meet friends and taste great local wine. It's also not in the really busy part of Pike Place Market so a great place for a chill drink.

hxax: Stopped in as we were waiting for a restaurant table. We were told over an hour but it came to be only 40 minutes. The host was very attentive and quickly checked us out so we can make dinner. The wine was fantastic and they have about 4 different tasting flights you can try. Host mentioned she may do custom flights but not when they are busy.

Purple Cafe and Wine Bar: what do users think?

Andrea: Food was great! Definitely recommend.Recommended dishes Spicy Prawns, Chopped Salad …

Monika Singh: Celebrated my bday and it was an exquisite experience. The ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of options available on the menu. From flavorful salads to creative vegetable-based entrees, Purple catered to my dietary preferences without compromising on taste or quality. The wine selection was extensive, offering a variety of choices to complement the meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was impeccable.Overall, my visit to Purple Cafe and Wine Bar surpassed my expectations, leaving me eager to return and indulge in their delectable offerings again.

Steven Zopfi: We’ve eaten at Purple a couple of times now and we’ve been impressed with the service and the consistent quality of the food. The decor is urban chic with an impressive wine tower that dominates the great room. I started with a Purple salad which was delicious. I moved on to one of the dinner specials, which the night I was there was a mushroom gnocchi in a cream sauce. It was rich but delicious. The proximity to theaters and the quality of the food and service make this attractive restaurant an easy choice for us when we visit Seattle to watch a show or a concert.

Canlis: what do users think?

jake devlin: A phenomenal experience and an absolutely must do if you are looking for fine dining in the area. Service and presentation were amazing and the food was full of flavor and meticulously prepared. My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.

Sherry Fan: out of all the fine dining places in seattle, this doesn’t necessarily have the best food, but it undoubtedly has the best service and atmosphere. i appreciate that there is a formal dress code as it really elevates the ambiance of the meal. the service is truly unmatched; you feel very welcomed and the staff takes care of every aspect of your experience. the view is probably one of the best in seattle. however, for the price point, the food is merely good. there certainly were dishes that blew my mind, but this was maybe 2 out of the 10 dishes we tried. the drinks again were good, but not particularly special. again at this price point i would expect the food and drinks to be more singular.

Girish Shekhar: On my first visit to a fine dining establishment in Seattle, I was treated to a truly exceptional experience. Despite the set menu, the staff graciously accommodated our requests, showcasing their dedication to personalized service. From the moment we arrived, the valet and welcoming staff set the tone for a memorable evening. Each expertly prepared course was a masterful fusion of rich flavors, with every bite a testament to the chef's culinary artistry. The entire experience was a symphony of warmth, elegance, and gastronomic delight.Note : This is not a traditional dining experience in Seattle so make sure to dress up with suits, sport coat and dresses.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian set menu.

Chris Roach: Absolutely incredible dining experience. Was fortunate enough to attend a dinner lecture series in the upstairs section. Some of the most delicate and delicious cuisine I have ever had. Most amazing salmon I have ever tasted.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very considerate and careful to ask about dietary restrictions and offered vegetarian/options for their set menu

James Edward:

2120: what do users think?

Jess H: If you are debating on trying 2120 out, don’t have major FOMO and fumble. This restaurant is nothing less of fantastic.Service:The moment you walk in the door, the staff is incredibly during your entire dining experience and want to make sure you are taken care of- and I even sat at the bar.Food: Everything I ate was not only flavorful but also was well selected and paired together. This restaurant gives me a farm to table type vibe with their menu and I was nothing but impressed.Atmosphere: Perfect amount of class and edge.Dietary restrictions: Dairy/Gluten Free options

Derrick Weiss: We went here during ECCC. Staff was friendly, polite, professional. Food was a great variety and good for sharing plates. Recommend making a reservation, but you might be fine without one.Carrot cake was bomb.

Aluel Cellars: what do users think?

Kelly Anne Shantel: . Highly recommend stopping in and maybe signing up for their wine club!

Sara Dias: Good wines and great service!

Jeremy Yowell: Very intimate spot with great wine and excellent service. If you have a large party there's an upstairs space that we didn't see but sounded like was very busy. The main lower tasting area was cozy and a great experience.

Girish Shekhar: Great vibes, good wine. Wish they had more white/rose on their selection and flights. Will definitely go again.

Garrett Hudson: Always friendly. Always good.

Mikiehl Kofoed: Love this place! The wines are amazing. Highly recommend "coat of arms"!

Kevin He: Awesome staff, delicious wine! Thanks to Alex for a great experience.

Carissa Ensminger (US): Amazing spot in Capitol Hill, spectacular Washington wines and great service. Owners Alex and Samuel are absolutely delightful!

Dylan: Alex and Samuel were very helpful at advising the best wines from Aluel. I recommend the charcuterie board, and that you stop here on your trip to Seattle! A hidden gem.

Dani Stevens: Great little winery. You can get flights, glasses, or whole bottles, and they have some food/snack offerings as well. We enjoy being able to support a Washington winery without leaving the neighborhood.

William Loh: Wine was great and the cheese complemented very nicely. The Christmas vibes were the highlight though.

Ralph Hofmann: Friendly service. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They sell water and local wines. You dan buy a bottle or glass. It’s a great neighborhood place.

Metropolitan Grill: what do users think?

Chris Blackburn (blackbuc911): Decided to have a “treat myself” night and have A5 wagyu for the first time. I wish I remembered my server’s name, but they were incredible in answering all of my questions and provided great explanations and suggestions on what I could choose from.I had 2 cocktails, but the A5 Old Fashioned was the stand outThe food was perfect. Slight mishap with my how my steak’s cooked, but was immediately recognized and corrected by the staff. The quality of the meat was like no other and I feel provided me much more than I expected from the experience. To end, I had the Crème brûlée, which was the perfect ending to the meal experience.100/10! I will be back

Spike: An absolutely amazing experience. Easily in the contending for the best steaks in the city, great service, and a luxury feeling atmosphere that does not feel cramped or overloaded. We had 4 different steaks that were all fantastic in their own unique ways. One of the steaks was undercooked a bit from what was ordered while another was overcooked from what was ordered, but they were all very good regardless. The sides were hilariously large and a delicious complement to the slabs of meat that we had.Our server was absolutely fantastic, we enjoyed their service. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars for service is an interaction that we had with one of the sommelier. One of the women in our party had ordered a bottle of wine, it was a wine she was excited about finding on the menu. Instead of the sommelier having her taste it, he had her husband taste it, who could do well enough to ensure it wasn't spoiled, but that is not the point.

Ashlee Hathaway: We had a delicious dinner at the Met. We started with the steak medallions which were seasoned great with a generous portion especially for two people. For dinner I got the lobster which was huge and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were delicious, as well. My husband got a steak combo which came with a filet, American wagyu filet and a Japanese ohmi filet, all 4 oz. It was a great way to taste the difference of all three and was a ton of food. Came with choice of side.We got a birthday creme brulee for dessert which was a great finish.Great scotch and whiskey selection and a huge wine menu. They have valet parking but since it was Sunday we took advantage of free street parking. Reservation was easy to make online. Love our dinner.

City Cellars Fine Wines‎: what do users think?

Peter Sorrell: Well curated bottle shop, the prices are also VERY fair. I see the exact same wines at higher prices in other shops in the city. The owners are knowledgeable and make good recommendations.

He Qian Wang: Very helpful staff

Hal Kirkman: or a fine vintage to impress my friends. It’s organized by growing region, and it’s a small enough store that you can browse a great selection without getting overwhelmed. The owner and staff are also extremely knowledgeable— they always help me find what I’m looking for!

Jacob Eisenstein: great selection and every recommendation has been a winner so far

Brian Landau: City Cellars is a fantastic wine store. We buy most of our wines here because the owners are so friendly and knowledgeable to guide you to a fantastic wine for any occasion or meal. I specifically love the 100 wines for under $10 shelves. I love going to a wine store where I know I will leave with a good bottle of wine without guessing, like I would at a grocer or Trader Joe’s.

Alvin Isaacs: . I had mentioned her that I owned a wine and spirits store in Colorado Springs which helped to conversation immensely. The City Cellars has a great selection of wine and I highly recommend it to locals. Don't put your money where your mouse is, BUY LOCAL. Support LOCAL businesses. Thanks City Cellars.

Ashley Frisbee: Lovely staff, amazing selection of wines from around the world, both old favorites and new adventures. Every bottle so far has been vibrant and expressive and delicious.

rowen wu: good prices, super nice local staff

LeAnn E: Great neighborhood wine shop. The owner is very knowledgeable and really nice.

Paul Johnson: Champagne selections are very nice.

Susan F.: Came here for a thank you gift--I don't know anything about wine. The woman working couldn't have been any nicer. I feel really good about what I bought. The giftee loved it. Thank you!!

L'Oursin: what do users think?

Rob Ralstin: Food was great other than the beef tar tar. Comes out presented as a frozen beef patty and too much vinegar. Other than that dish the food was great!

David Antal: Loved the atmosphere, yet surprisingly small number of diners for a 6:30 Saturday reservation. The calamari was the best- grease free and crunchy. Good quality bread and well made mixed salad. The main, "ravioli", was a $30+ abomination. ONE unimpressive ravioli circled with way too many chopped vegetables in a weird sauce crowned with a frizzy addition hiding the disappointment below. AVOID THIS DISH!!

Six Seven restaurant: what do users think?

ArcAngel: Beautiful view, delicious coffee and delightful staff. The food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was charming. Not too pricey either!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options on their breakfast menu such as waffles, french toast, bagels, parfait, omelets and pastries!!

Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

Jay X.: , she forgot about us again and never came to pick it back up. At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. For a total of $100+ and $20+ per dish, it was not worth it, considering the lack of service we received.

Les Lautengco: The food is great eaten in or delivered. It may seem a little pricey, but it is well worth it for the flavors and quality ingredients used. If you like spice, the jambalaya is a great option. The shrimp and grits was suprisingly flavorful and my favorite. If you have a sweet tooth, the beignets are a must have.Parking: Limited parking around the restaurant because of its location in a busy area

Andaluca: what do users think?

Sylvia: Food was delicious, fairly priced for quality. Service was delightful. Atmosphere was as needed. The dim lighting and soft music creates quiet intimate moments. Truly a hidden treasure, this place. Don't miss out.Left to right: Eggs Benedict, House-made Granola with Yogurt, Sides of Herbed Roasted Potatoes & Bacon.

Kyle “AcidRayne” Timmons: Great place for stopping after a hard day of work. Claire was an absolute gem. She served us and literally put up me asking so many questions.I had the duck and it was just as good a five sales in Vancouver BC. Just amazing. And here is the green drink I asked for. We call it the Ben 10. Ask for it today too!

Henry SooHoo: Service was very friendly and speedy. The servers were patient and answered questions we had about the options as well as attentive about refilling beverages. The food itself was decent but I would not say special. The Turkish apricot waffles were novel but too sweet in my opinion. Even forgoing the syrup, I struggled to eat the last few saccharine bites.

Michael Williams: The service provided by the gentleman, was as good as the dish! The best, most creative rendition of lox on toast that I have had. The ricotta was a revelation. The jammy hard oiled eggs perfect. Giant YUM.Vegetarian options: The lox is terrific; you can substitute non-meat in place of

STEVE CUMMINGS: Everything was perfect. from the complimentary valet parking to the post-WW II dark wooden interior We had Thanksgiving dinner here and the service was just excellent. Attentive, but not pushy or robotic. For a hotel restaurant, prices were reasonable. Best part of our experience was the welcoming notice at the bottom of a real menu asking us not to use electronic devices or cell phones. Everyplace should have such a polite request highlighted. I live here but we seldom frequent hotel restaurants.

Swanky Christy: . Service was very good, chef came and talk to us as well as a restaurant manager and we shared our feedback. Overall we had a good experience here and as a downtown locals we will consider this restaurant when we want nice Mediterranean cuisine.
