Tina Burch: Popped in to wait for a table across the alley. Not a wine drinker, so I had a cider. The sommelier poured me a wine dessert, which was fantastic, so we ordered a bottle to go. Very friendly and knew their stuff. If you need a place to hang out while waiting for your reservation or just to taste good wine, this is the spot. It's off the beaten path of the traffic for Pike Place, so not many tourists come in unless they wander off.
Aiman Al Khachi (Chu): 4/8/2023: We came back here because our friend Brad works here and we didn't want to pass up the opportunity of cheese and crackers with a flight or wine. It was the first time we ordered food here and we really enjoyed the cheese and crackers!6/16/2022: Took my mom and my auntie here for wine tasting for the first time in Seattle. The experience was great, and our server was extremely kind. My auntie is new to wine and wasn't finding any of the wines to her liking. Our server brought out another one for free to help satisfy her. She was really pleased ultimately satisfying everyone. I would definitely recommend this place.
William Magill: A quiet hideaway located in Post Alley, the Tasting Room is the perfect spot for a flight sampler, glass, or bottle of wine. In the event you get caught with a long wait at The Pink Door, make your way over to kill some time in an atmosphere that is sure to relax you. The ladies behind the bar are sure to steer you in the right direction if you’re a rookie or wine connoisseur.
Millie Kwan: It has been many years since I've been to The Tasting Room. They specialize in specific local wineries which is fantastic, but it also means that their selection will be limited. Still a great place to meet friends and taste great local wine. It's also not in the really busy part of Pike Place Market so a great place for a chill drink.
hxax: Stopped in as we were waiting for a restaurant table. We were told over an hour but it came to be only 40 minutes. The host was very attentive and quickly checked us out so we can make dinner. The wine was fantastic and they have about 4 different tasting flights you can try. Host mentioned she may do custom flights but not when they are busy.

Steven Zopfi: We’ve eaten at Purple a couple of times now and we’ve been impressed with the service and the consistent quality of the food. The decor is urban chic with an impressive wine tower that dominates the great room. I started with a Purple salad which was delicious. I moved on to one of the dinner specials, which the night I was there was a mushroom gnocchi in a cream sauce. It was rich but delicious. The proximity to theaters and the quality of the food and service make this attractive restaurant an easy choice for us when we visit Seattle to watch a show or a concert.

jake devlin: A phenomenal experience and an absolutely must do if you are looking for fine dining in the area. Service and presentation were amazing and the food was full of flavor and meticulously prepared. My guest was a pescatarian and was easily accommodated.Parking: The parking lot comes up quick and the turn around is pretty far out of the way so be careful when approaching.
Sherry Fan: out of all the fine dining places in seattle, this doesn’t necessarily have the best food, but it undoubtedly has the best service and atmosphere. i appreciate that there is a formal dress code as it really elevates the ambiance of the meal. the service is truly unmatched; you feel very welcomed and the staff takes care of every aspect of your experience. the view is probably one of the best in seattle. however, for the price point, the food is merely good. there certainly were dishes that blew my mind, but this was maybe 2 out of the 10 dishes we tried. the drinks again were good, but not particularly special. again at this price point i would expect the food and drinks to be more singular.

I wish I remembered my server’s name, but they were incredible in answering all of my questions and provided great explanations and suggestions on what I could choose from.I had 2 cocktails, but the A5 Old Fashioned was the stand outThe food was perfect. Slight mishap with my how my steak’s cooked, but was immediately recognized and corrected by the staff. The quality of the meat was like no other and I feel provided me much more than I expected from the experience.To end, I had the Crème brûlée, which was the perfect ending to the meal experience.100/10! Spike: An absolutely amazing experience. Easily in the contending for the best steaks in the city, great service, and a luxury feeling atmosphere that does not feel cramped or overloaded.We had 4 different steaks that were all fantastic in their own unique ways. One of the steaks was undercooked a bit from what was ordered while another was overcooked from what was ordered, but they were all very good regardless. The sides were hilariously large and a delicious complement to the slabs of meat that we had.Our server was absolutely fantastic, we enjoyed their service. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 stars for service is an interaction that we had with one of the sommelier. One of the women in our party had ordered a bottle of wine, it was a wine she was excited about finding on the menu. Instead of the sommelier having her taste it, he had her husband taste it, who could do well enough to ensure it wasn't spoiled, but that is not the point.
Ashlee Hathaway: We had a delicious dinner at the Met. We started with the steak medallions which were seasoned great with a generous portion especially for two people.For dinner I got the lobster which was huge and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were delicious, as well. My husband got a steak combo which came with a filet, American wagyu filet and a Japanese ohmi filet, all 4 oz. It was a great way to taste the difference of all three and was a ton of food. Came with choice of side.We got a birthday creme brulee for dessert which was a great finish.Great scotch and whiskey selection and a huge wine menu.They have valet parking but since it was Sunday we took advantage of free street parking. Reservation was easy to make online. Love our dinner.

I specifically love the 100 wines for under $10 shelves. I love going to a wine store where I know I will leave with a good bottle of wine without guessing, like I would at a grocer or Trader Joe’s.

Chris E: First time visiting, during a trip to Seattle. We stopped in for happy hour. We were able to get a table outside. This restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, on the northern end of the Seattle waterfront area. Happy hour prices for drinks are a couple dollars off. And they have a limited food menu. I ordered the wagu sliders, which came with garlic fries. Both were very good, in my opinion. And made a good meal. The weather was fantastic, so that made the experience even better.

At this point its been more than 20 minutes and the wind had picked up so me and girlfriend just walked up to the reception area and waited for someone. Les Lautengco: The food is great eaten in or delivered. It may seem a little pricey, but it is well worth it for the flavors and quality ingredients used. Best part of our experience was the welcoming notice at the bottom of a real menu asking us not to use electronic devices or cell phones. Everyplace should have such a polite request highlighted. I live here but we seldom frequent hotel restaurants.
