The Sunset Tavern: what do users think?

Nate Hill: Atmosphere: 5/5

Eric Phillips: We went to the megacat record release party. Go see megacat live!!!Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Matthew Unruh: This is one of my favorite venues in town. I legit do not know if they serve food and the bar service is standard. However the venue is great, and the decor is as well.Parking: Like all of Ballard better not to drive if you don't have to.

Daryl Allen: Great music venue and nice separate and good sized bar area to hang out in.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Manny Avila: To Spencer behind the bar, "Love ya man!"I love hanging around in downtown Ballard but especially at the Sunset Tavern. I'll stop in and have a Tecate and chat with Spencer or if there's a show I'm looking forward to seeing. This intimate stage has a magical way of bringing people together. Love this venue!!

Sarah Case: Great show, but was really crowded. Seemed like the venue was oversold.Visited on Weekday Wait time 10–30 min Reservation recommended Yes …

Chuck Wilson: Great venue with fantastic sound. There's a good bar in the front that is connected to the venue as well.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Gabriella Klein: Great venue, tons of room, drinks were good too!Visited on Weekend Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes …

Brooke: small intimate venue. first show we saw was not great but that was due to the artist. second show was great. drinks are decently priced. food looked good but we did not order any.

Liz Astra: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes

Lana Kellogg: The place is nice. Its clean. The staff are friendly. They do supply water but no snacks. Which is fine. It just sucks that the area surrounding it has basically closed down. No more fun cafés or small stores, but the space needle isn't far off.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

The Kraken Bar & Lounge: what do users think?

DarrkDreamer 11: Update: I'm adding an update for the new location The kraken is my home away from home Even since I've become sober I still go whenever I can 😊It has the best vibes, the biggest family of people who care about each other, amazing food, great pinball, and badass punk shows 🤟🔥The new location is absolutely beautiful, they put so much work into it and it shows They have more alcohol free drinks available now too! There is not a place in Seattle I feel more safe at and welcome than the Kraken Bar and Lounge!Welcome back 💜Old review from 2022:The Kraken Bar & Lounge has always been big in my heart 💜And always been one of my fav placed to chill in seattle. But tonight was so amazing I've never felt so protected, safe, and welcome somewhere In my life.Me and my friend were being harassed by some old drunk guy. Who was being very inappropriate. And crossed many lines. They not only cut him off from drinking. But when he tried to follow us back to the pinball machines, they stopped him and kicked him out. 💜 then they made sure we knew we were okay and felt safe. And let us know if anyone ever makes us uncomfortable that they will take care of the situation Best bar in the world. Best punk family in the NW.People here really love and look after you 😊Also play a few great games of pinball 💜Couldn't ask for a better night 💜Also Should have left a review long ago.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger, salad

A: Welcome Back!

Matthew Falcon: Rad opening night! I met friends here and made it for the headliner! Great audio setup, and there’s even a quieter space with pinball machines if you wanna have a conversation. Multiple restrooms and one is wheelchair accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance, show space and lavatory are wheelchair accessible.

w w: The pickles that come with the main course are worth it alone. They have a vegetarian option, well dressed, like a human sacrifice to an eldritch god. They also have brisket, well smoked, like the aforementioned human sacrifice, after the god has fed. There's pinball upstairs, and the tables are unforgiving, try not to punch them. Drinks are reasonably priced in this economy, try not to drown.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger!

Alex Lewis: JENNY NEEDS TO POOP!

Stephanie LaCasse: Sad to see it go..

Allen Greenky: I stopped by early just to get a hoodie for a gal. Omg. The stories going around about the big fights the night before and drummer that sliced his wrist on the rim and spewed blood everywhere... but pretty friendly crowd . Typical urban punk black everywhere plastered over with stickers, decals and posters for shows. Get there soon, developers are tearing down the building end of the month

Annie O'Neill: Great spot for live music and a stiff pour!

David Loveland: Great food and good drinks

S V R: The most awesome and personal bar tenders you'll wish for. Their grilled cheese is to die for. Pretty economical place for such great food.

jacquelyn McDonald: but my friends say they pour strong drinks and the staff are all really friendly and laid back. The atmosphere is great- tall dark wood booths, brick and plenty of seating with a view of the stage.Check it out if you love live music. It's a cool spot.

Erfan Rahman: Wonderful music every night and friendly everyone!

Funhouse: what do users think?

Lisa M. de Rave: First time at The Funhouse, and I had a great time. Sweater For An Astronaut drove from Eugene to play here, and I was there to see them. It's totally worth the long drive.Excellent options at the Bar with tasty drinks like the Strawberry Lemonade Vodka w/7-Up. There is an Iron Maiden and Rush Pinball Machines. This is the place to see a band up close and personal. I really liked the Viking Skull Mural. The staff are friendly and clearly enjoy their jobs. Coincidentally, the music played between bands was a collection of my favorite artists. Violent Femmes, Germs, and many more were the perfect playlist.

Allen Greenky: Fun place with good music for this old boomer, NO screeching karaoke like every other bar on the street. Good drinks, food seems like a after thought, the cheese plate seemed like it was sitting around for days with totally stale crackers and cheese starting to dry out.

Rock Box: what do users think?

Georgia Golla: Overall great experience! Did this for my birthday with friends and it was definetly a great way to start the rest of the night. Really easy way of ordering drinks and splitting checks, we didn't order food, but drinks were fine! Went during happy hour so it was a better deal. I had a 12 person room, but only had 10 people and it was the perfect amount of space, two more people would make it shoulder to shoulder on the couch. Reserve ahead of time! They open at 4 and so it was really packed when all the groups arrived and we felt like some time was taken since it took a while to check in.

Tori Arvisais: and only ever gotten a single call back, even though on other occasions my friends were able to get slots earlier after I had called and reserved. They get very slammed so I'd attribute that issue to how busy they are.Drinks are decently priced and taste good. Be aware the 2 and 4 person rooms are very cramped so hopefully you're very buddy buddy with your friends! The crampedness can cause microphone feedback too, but it's avoidable.Even with the issues this is easily one of the best Japanese-style karaoke places I've ever been to. And all around, it's very affordable! Highly recommended!! Song selection is unbeatable with the addition of YouTube searching now on the table :

The George & Dragon Pub: what do users think?

Kelsey Bean: A good old pub!

Catherine Martin: Good place to watch games. Food is good and the service is unexpectedly good considering that I came during a big game. Although the Welsh rarebit included American cheese; definitely not how it's traditionally made. Beers are also good.As with so many places in Seattle dogs are allowed inside which does ruin it with dogs jumping on the benches, sniffing at the tables for scraps and of course the onslaught of allergy symptoms that follow.I'll probably stick to outside where the dander isn't as concentrated.

Seamus M. Mooney: Love me some darts and a Guinness. Chill environment.

Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?

Megan Thee Myth: Popped in for a drink after a trying day at the market. The drinks were delicious. The bartender VERY friendly. The overall atmosphere was great.

Aaron Ahearn: The owners want you to remember what a great time is about, this location has five bars, plenty of seating, great authentic Irish food. The staff have been here for years and that is how you know a great location, by how long their employees stay.Kid-friendliness: Children are always welcome and encouraged

Nigel Bush: . the owner came to help with the stage mic and the 2 bartenders, managers, Amanda and Elfin

Jessica Sharp: We sat in the outside patio area which was nice on the super warm day we went. The ambiance was relaxing and we could hear the live music from next door at the tasting room. Our waitress was super attentive and really friendly. The food was fantastic! We had the baked Brie that came with soda bread and fruit. My husband had the flat-iron that was cooked perfect and I had the seafood pasta that was fresh and full of flavor. We each had a beer that was just as good as the food. We will definitely be back and would totally recommend the place for a laidback dining experience.

Barboza: what do users think?

Alexi Molinari: Great experience. Wish they had a coat check with security, but other than that the place has great vibes. The venue was intimate and they had fans running and a large cooler of water and 8oz cups. Makes standing in excited crowed a lot more comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and clean.

Monica Brown: It's interesting, having it all ages with the 21+ stuck in the back. No idea if that's an all the time thing but for the show I was at, that's how it was.I'd go again but I'd be annoyed with the 21+ section creamed in the back with limited seating.

High Dive: what do users think?

Peter D: Cool venue for live music. Not the biggest space for live music events, but good set up and use of the space there. Decent sized stage too.

sarah ottinger: Great venue for live music

Leslie Curtis “L” Holloway: What a fun time, there’s a high dive in the center of the universe, don’t be scared, just party and dance right off of it !! lol

Michael Moore: Your basic dive bar...they open at 8 on a music night, one bartender doesn't make sense from a patrons pov.

William May: High Dive was amazing! I was in Seattle visiting my girlfriend and we went to see DJs Yellowtael, Solstis, and Align. It's a great venue, intimate without being claustrophobic. The staff were super friendly and the DJs were very warm and great to talk to. I'd love to come back!

Henry Smith: Watch "Sea Mo Jam 10" on YouTube you'll thank me later. We came to clooooooose

Shannan Muench: The bartender was great and made an awesome Negroni! There is a full bar and plenty of spaces to sit with a view of the stage or tucked away if you want to chat with friends while still enjoying the music. I'm looking forward to checking out other nights to see how different the crowd and vibe are when it's more crowded.

BABAK SALEK: The music was absolutely magical! And the staff was so friendly and talented - they made the experience unforgettable.

Paco Aguayo: Good music and drinks at a good price and easy access to the place....
