Lake Union Crew: what do users think?

Patrick Diamond: Adventure and excitement? Check. Challenging and fast-paced? Check. A community of folks seeking the same things, who are fitness-oriented and fun, and all seeking to be a better version of themselves? Double check!Being brand new to Seattle and the PNW, and showing up in the winter, I was prepared for the "Seattle Freeze" that everyone talked about. Not only has LUC helped introduce me to an incredible sport that is helping me to reach my goals and potential physically, it's connected me to a community of like-minded individuals, and has made my transition to Seattle more fun and exciting than I ever imagined! The coaches and staff are caring, helpful, and dedicated. I won't begin to name names, simply because there have been SO many who have helped along the way, and I wouldn't want to leave anyone out...I highly recommend LUC to anyone looking to expand their fitness, community, and their overall health. So if you're thinking about it... Just do it... and find yourself on the water at LUC!

Gus Self: I enjoyed it very much and had a whole lot of fun rowing!

Maurice Connon: Great exercise, great people and great times to participate.

Kristin Pryor: My daughter had private lessons over 2 weeks of the summer break whilst visiting relatives in the local area. From the initial booking enquiry with Patty Doty to an inspiring chat with legend Ed Ives to the superb coaching of Gil Hernandez, the LUC experience reignited her love of rowing and built her confidence to pursue higher levels of competition.Gil was an exceptional coach - he tailored the lessons to get the most out of each session yet was very adaptable and listened carefully to his rower. His expertise and passion for the sport shone through, and his valued, timely, and constructive feedback was extremely helpful in driving self-improvement. Would highly recommend Gil for private lesson coaching!

Jonathan Shultis: Гребля прекрасна, но видимость на выезде со стоянки плохая, что делает ее опасной.

Suresh S: LUC на Зеленом озере. Гребля и веселье!

Duwamish Rowing Club: what do users think?

Teresa Bettger: An amazing club for kids and adults to learn, brush up on, and/or continue their love of crew. They host a Learn To Row camp for younger kids in the summer and offer competitive rowing for upper ages all year round.

Miguel Fco Ledesma: Beautiful place

Sandra Smith: Wonderful club, great water

Kimberly Nyhous: The quietest water to row on in Seattle. Like glass!

Sarah Blum: Duwamish Rowing Club is friendly, active, exciting, and fulfilling. We have both a youth program and adult program called masters. We have two great coaches, Mike Merta who coaches the youth, and Arianna Gervasio who coaches our masters. We row on the Duwamish River amongst the river otters, salmon and ospreys and often have a great view of Mt Rainier. We attend races and regattas and held our own first Regatta July 2016 and will have another in July 2017. We have singles, doubles, pairs, and bow coxed fours and we are on the water Monday through Thursday nights and Saturday mornings. It is a great group of people, all who contribute to our club in some way and who love rowing. Come join us!

College Club Seattle: what do users think?

Anjuli Judge: Love love love this place♥️🙌

Margaret Rottsolk: A great place to hang out, connect with others, and get on the water. Nice gym and showers, too.

Stafford Green: We joined the College Club recently and found it to be warm and inviting, relaxing and inclusive. Options for paddling is The Awesome Sauce of this place.

Kellie Seldon: Amazing place to call a second home. Staff is always 1000000/10

Symonty Gresham: Become a member and you can enjoy the water or great facilities on lake union

Alessandro De Camilli: Amazing paddle boarding

Ahmad Popal: Nice and cool place

Kimberly Garcia: Very nice place for social gatherings, events, and physical exercise. The College Club of Seattle gives an at home experience for sure.

Brance Duval: While certainly not as ritzy as the Seattle Yacht Club, the College Club reception and activities room is gorgeously appointed. Lovely view of Lake Union, Queen Anne Hill, the Space Needle and the neighborhood houseboats. The club room comes equipped with a pool table, shuffleboard, poker tables, fireplace, comfy seating area, kitchen, video screens and even a dart board and a selection of board games! It's cozy but there's still a sense of 'niceness' in class, even if not posh.

Tony Tate: Fun with Coral's friends. Cool people

Hugo Royalty: Fun chill place to swim and paddle board.

Row House: what do users think?

Bridgett Fields: They are the most welcoming team at West Seattle Row House 🏾

sarah Peck: really is an inspiration, very encouraging and makes the classes so much fun.

Anastasia Kim: Awesome experience for my first class - everyone was very nice and welcoming and I loved the music!

Brett Barton: I love this place. I’ve been a rower since college and always saw getting on the erg as a punishment for something I did in a previous life. Because of the spotless facility and excellent and upbeat staff, getting on the erg is something I now look forward to.

Maureen Reggie: Love this place. All the instructors and staff are so nice. It's a totally judgement-free place and they encourage all levels of fitness. Made some friends here too! It's the first workout I have enjoyed long-term and they make it fun.

Melisa Mills Lasell: Love RH - flexibility, strength, and the “West Seattle Thaw”

Vanessa Coker: Great coaches, really uplifting atmosphere, healthy workout for someone like me who has a lot of knee pain and needs a low impact workout

Robin: This is the most fun I have had taking an exercise class. I use to go to Flywheel classes before they had to close. This is a much better workout for me. The staff are friendly and helpful. The space is warm and clean. It is easy to book classes. A diverse group with regards to age and body type.

Michael: and they make sure that you are comfortable with the workouts. They provide a variety of classes that cater to different fitness levels and goals. What I love most about Rowhouse West Seattle is their positive reinforcement approach. Unlike other gyms where the coaching style is military-like, here, the coaches motivate you in a positive way which makes you feel good about yourself and your progress.Overall, I would highly recommend Rowhouse West Seattle to anyone looking for a great workout experience--even if you are a workout beginner. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the classes are challenging yet fun. So, if you want to get fit and feel amazing, give Rowhouse West Seattle a try!

Humberto Wilson: Yes!

Adeline Honnas: Special thanks to Susan, Lead Instructor, taught me everything row.2023 - Great workout and staff.

ABHINAV SAHU: . Rowing itself felt great exercise with low impact, especially for my upper back. Unlike other fitness places, there was no pressure to sign up right away. They helped me sign up through OnePassSelect and explained how it works with insurance. No push for paid purchase. I’d love to visit on regular basis. A lot of street parking available but it was a busy evening. Paid parking lot next to the building was not too costly.

Olga Miakeka: I had a class with Susan Gehrke and it was fire! Susan was attentive to everyone, explained in details the technique and motivated us during all the class. We were rowing following music beats, in between we did some weight exercises and stretching. Highly recommend if you like active sports!

Josh: Had a great time getting an awesome workout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for low impact fitness options. Really liked the instructor and the class was super inclusive and welcoming. Definitely will go back!

John Theodore: There is a remarkable sense of community at the West Seattle Row House. Supportive, inclusive, and with a light hearted competitiveness. It’s also a tremendous work-out - 45 minutes flies by.

Margaret Yingst: My first time taking a rowing class. The instructor was solicitous and encouraging. It was a terrific workout with good music. The other students were welcoming.

Siri Loken: Love the West Seattle Row House! The classes are fun and challenging and the atmosphere is both welcoming and supportive of all.

Rival Fitness: what do users think?

Haily Holt: , classes 2x per week, and occasionally going in on active rest days for light cardio. As long as you're using all of the benefits, the cost is *well* worth it.Nothing but great things to say about Rival. The gym has a great vibe, the staff is great, and I feel like I'm actually making strides on my fitness goals now.

Christopher Kaczmarek: Fancy but pricey but clean

Braden Nix: Nothing but good things to say about Rival. The staff is wonderful, trainers are knowledgeable and authentic, the facility is always clean, and it’s rarely “too” busy like most gyms can be.Overall, this is the most welcoming gym I have ever been to. The energy in this place is always great. I tried all the other gyms in the area before coming to Rival and they really do not compare. It was a a no brainer the moment I walked in.

Kareem Ali: I started at Rival fitness with the strength squad which helped me learn lifting with good technique, introduced me to friendly people, and helped me go through some rough times since that was right after I moved to Seattle when things were under COVID restrictions, so the place means a lot to me personally. That was over 3 years ago, since then I have been a regular, 4-7 times a week, mostly very early mornings, the owner, the staff, trainers and trainees are very friendly, there is a lot of free weights as well as machines and I have done some powerlifting training, bodybuilding training, cardio, fitness classes, cycling classes, rowing class and a few other things so I think it’s a VERY well-rounded gym where you can find equipment and classes for most training modalities. The one thing I do not like would be when they do group classes on the gym main floor that takes roughly half the space, making it hard for anybody to train during those times. It’s definitely my favorite boutique gym in Seattle, 100% would recommend.

Kyle Good: Sweet a gym that's like not even 5 blocks from my house.

Freedom Boat Club Seattle: what do users think?

Patrick Gillan: Great boat. Great Marina and staff. Great water.

Dr. Lance Stolworthy: Brennan was very welcoming for our first time launching at the Seattle, Magnolia Marina in Elliott Bay. Everything went as smooth as it was explained to us!!

Gary Walker: Great team To help you and get you out on the water. Boat ownership without wasting time and money! Do it….

Christian Johanneson: Fantastic experience.

Gene Chen: The Antares boats need a hatch over the forward cabin for easy access to anchor, and for locking cabin door from inside, and climbing out through the hatch, when we are tied to public docks, since you don't give us keys to the cabin door. I almost always use the hatch for these purposes for the old Jenneaus, and for that reason, I much prefer those older boats. REQUEST HATCHES! This is the only reason I don't give 10/10 any more.

Jeremiah Karczewski: Do it! You won't regret it.

Peter Hager: Zach and his crew were wonderful! Great experience even though I am dealing with a bent propeller that I will pay for. The whole staff was wonderful and had a great time! Thank you guys!!

Mary Lane: and can only use it on Saturday or Sunday you might be better off owning. That said, I've been an owner and the joy of just walking off the boat and knowing the crew is handling the boat washing, refueling and repairs? Freaking priceless.

Vijay Doshi: Great experience and value! The best way to get into boating IMO.

N Tucker: Great training program and solid boats. Very happy so far.

James Pense: Best boat club out there. Highly recommend them.

Keith Landers: Absolutely wonderful organization. Love myMembership and really appreciate Curin and their staff. Highly recommend you joining freedom boat club

JB: Amazing experience. Great staff, great process, mint boats. Couldn’t be happier with it!
