They came out and walked through our location, took inventory, offered solutions for packing then went to the new location to see the spaces and where they were moving us to. They were very thorough and we were impressed with the questions they asked and how we got a well thought out estimate. The moving crew was friendly and efficient. They were very thoughtful on how they packed our stuff in the trucks for the move and made sure everything was properly stacked and covered.Our new location was much bigger than our previous one. I got to work with Schelly to pick out our cubicles and she was an absolute delight. Schelly listened to exactly what we were looking for and our budget. She never tried to sell us something we didn't want just because it would make a bigger sale. When it came time for delivery/installation their team was quick working, very nice and made our space look amazing. We could not be more pleased with our new furniture and we have had many compliments on it. The colors, fabric and desk top surfaces are amazing and definitely not like the cubicles you are used to. The guys on our team are very happy with their work spaces. I would 100% recommend that if you are in the market for new or used furniture that you go see Schelly with NW Modular in Tukwila.

Friday Hunt: My review is from the other end. I love his mid- century modern style, when we downsized we consigned several large pieces of furniture and are very pleased at the professionalism there.He is clear, organized, and prices things to sell quickly but also making enough for both parties to be happy with a 59/50 split.He will also consign IKEA pieces if their style fits in, but at a lower price to make sure they will sell.The shower room is always clean, and there is enough space to display all the pieces attractively.All in all, I’m very happy, and if I needed any furniture that type, I would definitely shop there.

Keith Connor: Very friendly very helpful quality furniture for a good price used obviously and some rough items as you will find in any used furniture store but for the most part reasonably priced and the owner is willing to work with you on price if it seems out of range which is rare and very cool so overall an excellent experience was picking up items for my disabled veteran friend and it went smoothly and all the items were what she needed as great an experience as you can have in furniture store granted the location is a little bit tricky but it's nice because put up right in front of the store he also does delivery for a very reasonable price so we just opted not to because I have to truck overall awesome experience would definitely do business with them have already referred him to many of my recently transplanted friends to the Seattle area that need furniture for their empty apartments and homes.

Bhu Bains: Stumbled on this shop and was so enamored ! Half the shop is vintage, curated. You won’t need to sift through lots of low quality here. You can tell the pieces have been selected, and are priced as such. Awesome mid century selection, have my eye on a couple bigger pieces. The other half is an art / plants / decor and gifts shop that is such a delight to wander through. So many local artists.

In addition to having a large array of vintage furniture and other goods, there is an entire room dedicated to art crafts created by local artists which I thought was really neat. They also have a surprising number of plant pots and plants for sale.
Dani Dones: Visited from LA while I was in town because my dear friend has her ceramics in the Maker’s Market, and now I’m searching for an equivalent experience in my home city. The shop was so well-curated and I was struck by how clean everything was! I’m accustomed to antique and vintage stores that are caked in dust, but you could tell the staff takes abundant time to clean here. Amazing pieces at the maker’s market aside, the mainstay furniture was all restored and cared for beautifully, and you can tell the owner has a serious talent for me buying vintage pieces and giving them a second life. My fiancé and I love the art and gifts I brought back home. Can’t wait to return next time I’m in Seattle!

Nancy Samuels: The ink I needed was gone from the shelf so I assumed they didn’t have it. Costco didn’t sell my ink. The Amazon source I checked was also out, so I was disappointed. Narinder, a staff person at Office Depot, asked me if I needed help finding anything. So I told him that the ink I needed was out. He looked in the back and found the ink. I wasn’t going to look for someone to ask because I had already assumed there was a product shortage. Narinder came up to me and asked. So I’m going to be able to print the docs I need without waiting more days.

MB Ebert: There are many interesting and useful products in office max so I often have trouble finding things. The clerks are helpful.
Ali Tabler: The printing department assisted me with a last minute Easter surprise 2 days before the holiday. Miles kindly walked me through all options and turned my idea into reality. During pick up, Ke’aira and Raven were absolutely pleasant to chat with while they were finishing up my order. Easter was a success and they all made the process quick and easy. I will definitely be returning after such a positive experience.
Judy Kimmerer: I am Judy’s husband. The shopping was made easy and fun by the clerk who was completely upbeat and competent to make my shopping smooth and positive. The clerk I am pretty sure was Ellie should be teaching others how to serve customers in her way.

I go out of my way to visit this location just to work with the printing staff and benefit from their expertise. They are truly top-notch, and it would be fantastic if the company could provide them with even more updated technology to further enhance their capabilities. Ballard OfficeMax, you are doing a phenomenal job! I would also like to note that their inventory is always well-stocked with high-quality items for both school and office purposes. I cannot recommend this location enough for all your printing needs, back to school supplies, and office snacks in bulk at AMAZING prices. 10/10 for me!
