Nomad: We were looking for new honey comb up/down blinds and sliding panels for sliding doors. We chose Anchor for several reasons. It is a multi vendor shop, the blinds came from one vendor while the sliding panels came from another. Armi, the person we worked with , was informative and professional. We met with or spoke to 3 other companies, which all came out to the house. Anchor does not do house visits, until you have narrowed down your parameters. At first that was off putting, but it proved to be a good thing as we needed to figure out how many windows needed blinds after a major remodel. After we were close to deciding on the final products, Armi came out to. the house and validated certain ideas and suggested a change to one of our configurations. That was all quite useful. She also did not try to upsell to add hardware which really would not have been useful given the layout. Installation was a breeze. Pleased with the product, service and follow up.

We have 4 large corner windows that needed blinds and they were covered in bedsheets for way too long while I was waiting to finish measuring and picking out which blinds I wanted to order. After months passed, I decided to call in help and see how much it would cost to get blinds installed. Armi, with Anchor Blinds was out within a few days measuring and guiding me through the whole process. Her guidance was very helpful for navigating our needs - from style and color to features. And, the quote ended up coming back at nearly the same price that the DIY blinds were going to run. Once the blinds arrived the install team had them in within less than an hour. We've had them for several months now and they are wonderful! Everyday when I am opening or closing them I appreciate the quality and ease of use. We highly recommend Anchor Blinds!

Each time the consulting engagements have been informational, thorough, and fun. Their sales team was always flexible to meet as needed, on-time, and professional. The broad array of window coverings, fabrics, and colors was more than sufficient to meet our needs. After ordering our shades we were appropriately updated on delivery schedule timing and the installation team was prompt, remarkably focused, and very efficient. We felt very supported by the whole Budget Blinds crew throughout the whole process. For example, after installing one particular window covering the installer noticed a flaw in the fabric so subtle that we couldn’t see it. We were advised that they would leave the new shade in place until a replacement could be delivered.We strongly recommend Budget Blinds and we will absolutely use them again whenever needed. What a terrific neighborhood business.

They first helped me choose window treatments about a year and half ago. 8 months in, the top down bottom up Roman shades stopped working. Angela was wonderfully responsive and kind as we worked through the warranty request. First issue being the original shade color was no longer available, then the new shade color was shipped over from Europe without blackout liner. Though it took many more months than I expected, Angela’s help and knowing I’d end up with very pretty window treatments made it worth it. I’ll definitely be trusting Budget Blinds West Seattle for any additional window treatment needs!

Installation crew was top-notch and professional, including managing our hyperactive dogs in the house. 1 window was typical size, 30x60 inches, but the other was a quite large custom 3in1 window, but it was handled with ease by the crew. Definitely would recommend!

One of our previous windows had cracked from the house settling. The job was difficult since the new windows had to be installed in a slightly misshapen frame, and old windows had been installed without proper centering over the supporting boards.Yarik and Ivan did the install. We were very impressed with their careful assessment of what would be needed to make the finished project look good and last. When they opened up the walls and learned it was going to require more work than expected to get it right, they took an extra day to do it properly rather than rush through to finish the project sloppily on the original timeline.When there was a judgement call on what to do about trim, they presented us with the options, and what the implications of each were. They were also both careful with the details, and the end result looks great.We will be coming back for any future window projects.

The windows were original wood single-pane, and I was sad to see them go, but we wanted to have more energy efficient windows that also do a better job of protecting against sound and open easier for ventilation. We decided to go with the Marvin Elevate windows, and did not disappoint as they keep to the character of our house.John did the initial quote and worked with me when I had questions on design to make sure some of the former pantry windows worked with in the space. Peter Luu: Einar Johanson installed nine windows, replacing 1941 wood-frame single pane windows for me about a month ago. The old windows had air leaks, poor energy efficiency, collected condensation, were inoperable, and noise was easy to hear through them. The new windows are air sealed, have great energy efficiency, reduce noise, and are easy to operate. My quality of life in the rooms where the windows were replaced is noticeably better.During the quoting process, John was helpful as we worked together to determine what the best windows for my situation would be and was happy to discuss different details in depth, including when I was curious about details like window coatings or spacer materials. Because of some unique requirements and constraints on my project, the process took longer than it usually does, but John was excellent throughout.The installation team was fantastic as well. They were able to replace nine windows quickly, while paying high attention to quality and detail, kept everything clean, and were friendly folks. It was one of the smoothest installation experiences that I've had.Lastly, Einar Johanson also stands by the quality of their projects. Out of nine windows, eight operate perfectly, and one is hard-cranking because of friction inside of the crank handle, and a glass unit had some defects, both manufacturer issues that reasonably went by unnoticed until installed. While the windows technically still worked and could still be operated and it was a manufacturer issue, once Einar Johanson verified the problem, they reordered new hardware and a new glass unit to resolve the problem. This showed that they will follow through in order to ensure high quality on their projects.I plan on working with Einar Johanson again when I will replace the remaining six windows and two exterior doors next year.
Randy Fabro: replace in our 1940's house. Wonderful sales rep, Doug came and did the estimate, didn't try to "upsell" on more expensive windows, just gave us what we asked for. David and Ian and the rest of the installation crew did a great job. Protected our floors during the process, did a through clean up before leaving. During the instillation I was kept informed as to what they were doing and asked if I wanted things done differently.It was really a 5 Star job!
Mike McCaw: We had Einar Johanson replace the insulated glass in quite a few windows, and completely replace some other windows. This entailed several visits, as the replacement windows were delayed from the manufacturer. Every time, they carefully laid protection for the carpets and floors, worked carefully, and left the site immaculate when they were done. Glen Cramer: I purchased shades from the Shade Store in 2019. Since then I have recommended the store to many people. Recently one of my shades stopped, so I plugged it in to recharge the battery. This has happened once before in the four years, so I thought I knew what I was doing. I got a green light on the plug indicating the battery was fully charged, but it still would not move. I called the help number and they scheduled an appointment for an installer to come and fix the problem. He arrived and asked for my plug in and remote and plugged it in and it worked. I felt like and idiot since I apparently hadn't correctly done this although I had in the past. The installer went out of his way to not make me feel bad, even stating that sometimes the plug comes lose and trying to assure me it wasn't my fault, even though I knew it was. This is only a small reason why the Shade Store is such a pleasure to do business with and why I will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks about my shades.

I really love the drapery ,it looks really fancy, and worths the price. the set-up also is fast.
