Mini Mountain Indoor Ski Center: what do users think?

Shih-Wei Su: Ski rental, indoor lessons, and limited goods

Jari Haile: This place is great! I was a complete scaredy cat about mountains and skiing but my friends are really into it. I wanted a place to practice and learn skills without the fear of falling off a mountain. Lol. This place was great for me. It really helped me address my fears and the instructors were great. I really loved working with David and I got to work with Ryan once which was also a great experience. I also got the chance to go to bunny slopes and eventually green runs in between lessons which was great to make the lessons more meaningful and focused. I took 6 lessons in total.

Andrew Larsen: So, I'll start by saying the online reservation process was not very intuitive but Kevin and John offered my kiddos a free lesson and additional time when someone didn't show up. That is why this place gets 5 stars, for treating me and my family like we mattered. It was also a great lesson with great teachers.

Daniel Thurman: David is a FANTASTIC instructor with young kids! My daughter is 3 and loves Lion King, so he quickly built a rapport with her by asking her Lion King questions before smoothly transitioning into telling her some tips about skiing. She had so much fun and learned a ton in just 1 lesson. 10/10There are other instructors at Mini Mountain who are great for older kids, adults, etc but if you have a very young kid who needs some patience and confidence-boosting, David's THE go-to instructor.

Ovia Kemigisha: This is the second season my kids are taking lessons here, and I’ve never found a more family friendly establishment. The instructors care about the kids’ progress and teach while still being mindful not to over push. I think we’ve had every instructor and they are all great! Awesome place.. awesome people.10/10

Sandhya Karnati: Got rentals for skiing season 2023-24. The staff were super cool and friendly. Waiting to attend our indoor classes soon

Yang Yang: Attitude Nice

Janna Ott: Indoor ski lessons here helped our daughter to overcome years of fear of skiing and ski lessons. She had multiple bad experiences at the mountain, but the one on one lessons, comfort of not being cold, and feedback from instructors for three months prior to our season had her doing green runs and chair lifts independently on the mountain! Thank you all!

Seattle Ski and Snowboard: what do users think?

Anita Nowacka: Very cool independent shop. Great customer service experience. Oliver helped me getting exactly what I needed: high quality Smith Googles w/ a yellow decor touch to match my other gear. He took time and we found the pair for me. I will be back for more. They had a sale too.

Allison Stafford: Amazing boot fitting by Kyle! Very knowledgeable and able to fix all pressure points. 10/10 would recommend.

Torsten Stein: Fantastic service! Got skis for my son and boots for me.

Jon Halfaker: Preparing for my L2 ski exams and my skis got damaged beyond repair. Called them late Friday, the pulled a pair of Kendo 88s aside, and by 11 am last Saturday I had new skis with a spring setup ready to test. One day of practice was all I had, but the skis were tuned and set so well, one day was all I needed to adjust. Passed my L2s! Would not have happened without their great assistance and technical support. Bought all my skis, my wife’s skis, and my sons’ skis from this team. Small but stocked and always friendly. Thanks Seattle Ski and Snowboard!!! 5 Star service!!!

Tiffany Chiu: We’ve had great experience with the rental equipment, especially when picking up on Friday/returning on Sunday is counted as one day. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly all the time and provided great service; special thanks to the boot fitter, Joe. He was very patient, professional, kind, and he provided useful tips for skiers. Highly recommend this place for any snowboarder and skiers!

Allegra Hopkins: Joe is incredibly knowledgeable about skis, bindings, and boots and great at tailoring and explaining his recommendations to each individual skier. He was also super patient with my indecision on skis and finally helped me figure out what was best for me. Highly recommend working with him next time you need a new pair!

Svilen Kronchev: Great place awsome service defenetly recommend

Doug Kisker: I love this place! My kids are fairly new to skiing, but every single member of the staff has been relaxed about getting them fit for rental gear, no matter how many times my kids think something isn't right with the boots. The staff is patient, professional, knowledgeable, and frankly - they're all really nice! I'm almost sad that the end of this ski season means I won't get to see them as often. Oh well - looking forward to renting from them next season!

Izzy H: These people know their stuff! I'm a newbie and was a little nervous to rent my snowboard, but these guys set me at ease, helped educate me on what I needed, and made me feel really confident. Definitely will be back anytime I need expert snowboard advice.

Joe Skokan: . Both models work for me, but independent shops offer a more personal experience, especially when the folks are in it for the long haul; there's visible investment by employees which I appreciate and helps my decision to return.

Eric Spencer: Second time going here, and great service, well serviced equipment.

Mollie Dwivedi: We’ve had an amazing experience over several trips here all season long. We’ve worked with several staff members to get geared up for the season after a several year hiatus. They all took the time to explain the ins and outs, for both rentals and snow gear.Kyle has been fantastic to work with for updating my snowboard equipment. He took the time to understand what I’m looking for and work with me, which is much appreciated, because I felt dismissed at another popular shop. Thank you Seattle Ski and Snowboard!!

hjc#2: We have rented here for years with our kids and they have always been very knowledgeable with reasonable prices. They have a large inventory of skiing and snowboard equipment.Today we were unable to go skiing and they were kind enough to credit our account. That's great customer service.Highly recommended.

Evan: Great place for beginners, friendly and knowledgeable folks. Thanks Kyle 🙂

Gaurav Gohil: Got my boots over here this season!Joe was fantastic and is extremely knowledgeable about everything ski related. I highly recommend him. I even got my Season rentals last season here and have had nothing but positive experiences so far with everyone at this business.

WorldMark Seattle - The Camlin: what do users think?

Keith Tittle: Of all the Worldmark resorts we've stayed at, the service at the Camlin is, by far, the best! We lucked into a penthouse suite, so, for once, our room matched the service.Walkability: Conveniently located across the street from the Paramount, and just a 10 minute walk from Pike Street Market

Chad Ross: Central to all downtown Seattle attractions, easy walk to most, light rail or monorail to others. The Camlin is as beautiful as ever, staff and other guests are always very friendly. Our room was great, 7th floor, very private and much quieter now that the convention center construction hass completed. Elevator decor has been updated and we noticed some new table games in the lounge area, shuffleboard and foosball

Chris E: to many places. Took us about 15 mins to walk to Pike Place and the waterfront. Shopping in a few blocks away. Restaurants and bars are everywhere, including across the street or around the corner. There is a public parking lot around the corner for about $35 a day or so. And Worldmark has secured garage parking for $35-40 a day. We last stayed here 10 years ago. It really hasn't changed much since then. Not sure why we don't stay here more often, other than the distance from our home.

Mark Luvaas: Very friendly staff and attentive. Great location for walking to food and activities. The game room was a pleasant surprise as well. Overall an excellent stay.Pedro helped me sort out a city parking blunder and proved to me that there is still great service to be found!

Bill Cooper: The Camlin is a great place, as it is located in the downtown area so it is close to all kinds of places. The service is good although the parking changes every time I come here, but once you park your vehicle, you can walk just about anywhere. The rooms are nice as well with enough space so that everyone is not all crammed into a small room.I have been here a few times and I will be back!

Erica: Location is in the center of downtown Seattle but doesn’t feel like it during our visit: March. Staff service was attentive and welcoming when we checked it. Front desk clerk made sure we were thoroughly taken care of by means of checking in; verifying our identity, etc. Before we checked in/met the city, two follow up calls were made to verify that we were still checking in, transportation was taken care of; making sure we knew how to get to the location. Overall, the check in experience was efficiently done and successful. We were informed about the activity of the day: wine night, offered recommendations on what to see and eat in Seattle, & also directions on how to leave by our own choice of transportation.Nearby activities: Pike Place Market, Paramount Theater, many eateries and coffee shops, Westlake Center for shopping, Sephora, many more offeringsSafety: Downtown (leading into Public Market/Pike Place has a very obvious homelessness situation. It’s something to be mindful of if deciding to walk around. Don’t be scary but be cautious and aware of your surroundings.Walkability: Location is downtown Seattle so it’s made for walking distancesFood & drinks: Pike Place Market, Paramount Theater, many eateries and coffee shops, Westlake Center for shopping, Sephora, many more offeringsNoteworthy details: The buildings are beautiful to look at including The Camlin!

Mountain to Sound Outfitters: what do users think?

Rob Braby: SUPER helpful, knowledgeable and personable staff. I’ve both rented and purchased from M2S and each experience has been great. They operate like a local ski shop should - friendly, laid back, not rushed, and don’t push sales. The staffers seem to enjoy their jobs and want to help.I wanted to give Noah a shout out for a great consultation on demo skis today! He walked me through a lot of detail on different skis, considerations for purchasing, and his experience demoing the different options.

Carl Silverberg: There is a good reason this is my go-to place for ski & kayak equipment. Always get great advice! I went to get a pair of goggles at the end of season sale and left with a helmet/goggle all in one combo. I used it this week at Alyeska and for the first time I was able to wear my glasses while skiing. It's a great system, we tried a few, the Giro worked the best and the input from MTS was fantastic.

Sahil Ashar: Bought my first snowboard season rental from them for the 24/25 season - reasonably priced, great quality, and was overall a fantastic experience. Hal and Shannon are excellent, highly recommend!

Darren Mills: Just purchased all snowboarding gear at a great discount! Thank you, Koa and Shannon you were super helpful and very nice!

Ed Failano: The shop employees are extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable. I grew up in Hawaii visiting my local surf shop as a teen and the vibe these cats at MTN to Sound remind me of the good old days and how they work to earn your biz. They also let me browse without expectation of purchasing even though I’d rather give them biz because they’re a mom and pop shop. Shop here and you won’t regret the expert service and great selection!

Dune Desormeaux: Fantastic experience getting our first adult skis from M2S. Service was great, location was convenient, selection rocked, and we are super happy with the results!

Caitlin Boulware: As if you needed another excuse to shop local! Only good experiences with everyone at the shop, the selection is great, the prices are right, and Koa was the right person to help us find our new favorite skis. No pressure, only solid guidance from very friendly folks.

Kody Henderson: Knowledgeable people. Fast service. Was able to get my skis tuned up in one day. Making sure I will be set for my trip.

Isaac Conlen: I had a great experience at this ski shop! they were friendly and knowledgeable. I picked up snowboard wax for use at home, got a hot wax on my board, and also got my kids ski bindings adjusted on the spot! Highly recommended!

Sebastian Arrangoiz: Super friendly staff and good service!

Emil Gregor: Got a hot wax done real quick. Nice local shop with a lot of gear and sales.

emma sancartier: Great service, Thank for a super speedy board wax!

N: Greta prices and a variety!

Linh Vũ: This place is our family's go-to for snow gear. Koa knows his stuff and set my husband up with his first board. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend!!

Heather Corbin: I feel extremely lucky to have these guys in my neighborhood. They have helped me out with some stubborn boot repairs and took care of my neglected/wellloved skiis. They also saved me when I was heading out to the North Cascades and had forgotten to get extra strap for securing my skies to the snowmobile. Solid local business.

andy luley: I've bought snowboarding gear and gotten my boots fitted here. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgable, and I never felt like they were talking down to me or anything. Very inclusive

Neil Kanungo: Awesome service for my snowboards and good guidance from the staff!

Thomas Prieur: I’ve come in a couple times and have had great experiences talking with the staff about winter equipment! I definitely will be recommending this to friends that are looking to rent or buy, and will be back for summertime sport gear for sure.

Justin Mikitaroff: Awesome service and selection of anything you need!

Jordan Afaga: The staff here were super friendly in helping me getting my board ready for the slopes! Hot wax service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Daniel Everett: Just found this place online and decided to get a couple pairs of my skis tuned up here. One pair of my skis I had sitting in the closet for over a year because I thought they were so far gone it wasn’t even worth trying to ski on them. This company has some pretty awesome state of the art equipment. Taylor the ski tech, really took care of me and somehow made both sets of my skis look practically new and totally usable! Alpine Hut: what do users think?

David Murphey: Took a bike in there the other day for maintenance. Couple hours later I got a call informing me the bike wasn't the ideal bike to service. Apparently parts are obsolete. They didn't want to spend my money and risk not being able to 100% fix the bike. As an automotive technician, I really appreciate that. So, today I bought 3 bikes from them. These people are awsome!! They will continue to get my business!

Max Keenan: Knowledgeable staff that cares. Great turn around times for services, always beat or meet estimated times. Probably the best ski shop in Seattle

Kurokitsune Yuuki: Disclaimer: I haven't been into the shop yet, but I made a phone call with a boot question that has an almost impossible solution. The wonderful woman who answered the phone had the knowledge to provide me with the info I needed and was extremely helpful and kind. I can see why this place has the reputation that it does, and I will be in for a boot fitting in the near future. Definitely a five star shop. I can't wait to go check out the store.

Hal Kussick: These guys are the best, whether it be boot fitting or general service. Kyle and Sarah have taken great care of me and my family.

John S: Price was great and super helpful/accommodating staff!

Chris Smutny: Alpine Hut is our go to shop for skis, ski boots and bikes. They team is spectacular whether it is outfitting youth with skis/boots/bikes, or advanced adult skiers. Most recently I had a boot blow out less than a week before an out of town ski trip. As everyone knows, it is not a good idea to go big with new boots. Kyle spent two hours with me working through boots and the custom fitting. Based on his work, I was able to do a three day heli trip with brand new boots. All of this was done with a less than 24 hour lead time. In essence, they saved a trip.I'd also like to give Sarah a big shoutout. She knows her stuff across skiing and biking and has infectious enthusiasm.

Kris Lange: Fantastic ski shop, extremely knowledgeable staff and a great selection!I’ve purchased boots here and had skis tuned here. The staff worked with me to dial in the boots to a great fit. Edge tunes/waxes/base grinds always come back great.Happy to say, Alpine Hut is the best in town.

rob gray: Alpine Hut is my go-to ski shop in Seattle - I drive past several other closer shops to go here for my alpine ski needs. It's got classic ski-shop vibes - old school gear and posters are mixed into an excellent product mix. What really sets this place apart though is the staff - Kyle is a master boot fitter and helped dial in the fit on my new boots for my notoriously tricky feet. They also expertly mounted my new skis and bindings. Support your local shop run by real skiers and head to Alpine hut! Also: If you're lucky you can pet the shop dogs!

Eileen Mizwicki: Sarah’s enthusiasm and knowledge made my bike buying process easy. I love my new bike! Very friendly and helpful staff!

Chelsea Castle: Alpine Hut squeezed us in on their Sunday repairs schedule to fix a minor rotor dent and pump up our tires. They always have excellent recommendations on gear and technical questions and everyone who works here is so helpful and accommodating. Loved meeting the new shop dog in-training, Charlie, the goodest girl.

Kellen Morse: Very helpful and kind staff.

Tom Eggert: I got some boot work done. Haven’t had a comfortable boot like this in many years. Great service great people. Highly recommended!

evo Seattle Store: what do users think?

Elizabeth Ambrus: to go through an in-depth fitting with me and to explain all of the nuances along the way. And I ended up with a phenomenal pair of boots! Would 100% recommend coming to evo for any ski and snowboard services!

mark hetrick: I had an issue with binding mounting recently that was enough to be very noticeable. After a few phone calls and of three times sending me to someone else who could supposedly help I just went to the store in Seattle. I live 3 hrs away including a ferry ride, so not a trivial trip. I’m happy to say EVO made it right and gave me a new off the rack same pair of skiis and mounted properly. So a bit of a runaround but fully satisfied with the solution! Great guys in the shop!!!!

Loten Lhatsang: Came to get new snow board boots and equipment and had an amazing time with Joe. He answered all my questions and I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

barbara kielhofer: GET YOUR BOOTS HERE! I thought I was cursed to a lifetime of foot pain but after not one but two days of adjustments my life has been changed...they even said to come back if it gets bad again. Customer service through the roof to get you the perfect fit. They actually care and how many places can you say that about these days?

William Briere: and evo still did heat molding for me on them

Robert Galvin: A few different people helped me buy a few different pieces of ski gear and they are all super friendly and knowledgeable, 10/10 would buy from them again

Ethan Busse: Shoutout Dan! My gf needed to get her boots fitted as they were a size and a half too small. Dan was eager to help and did an amazing job getting them to fit perfectly!

Sturtevant's: what do users think?

Zhaheen Dhimas: The staff is friendly, very helpful and efficient. Even during busy times, one of the staff members helped explain the different considerations when making certain choices around skis, ski poles etc.The dropping back off the ski rental equipment is also quick and smooth.

Alex: An institution.

Erkin George: Super easy to rent or buy gear here! The staff were very helpful and easy to work with.

Richard: Based on friend's recommendations, I bought a pair of ski boots here about four years ago. They were expertly fitted and I've been really happy with them. Fast forward to a month ago and now my right foot was hurting because I had developed plantar fasciitis before the ski season. I brought the boots in to see if I could get some help and get back to the slopes. Brant, in the boot fitting area, fixed me up with some heel lifts for my boots and now I'm skiing pain free. I'm so grateful for his expert help and there was no charge just, "your continued patronage."Great store, great people that go out of their way to provide service after the sale. Thank you!

Adi Fenesan: Best place to buy ski and tennis equipment! In case you have questions... go there and just ask. You'll be amazed about the details and how knowledgeable these guys are.

Ricco DiStefano: The crew was helpful and knowledgeable. The gear was in great condition too!

xander harris: My man Brody, super helpful 5/5 stars

Jake: Kali is one of the best people I've ever worked with. She helped me out with choosing a board when I wasn't quite sure what size to get and we swapped it out with a bigger one after I was able to try one out. Today, my BOA lace snapped and brought it in and she was able to fix it. I highly recommend coming here for any purchases, advice, or concerns about any outdoor sport.

Jack Roberts: Otto in the boot shop is a wizard.

John Redl: Bought new ski boots! Russell was a great help, really knows how to get me into the best fit, took his time to work through all the process steps to ensure a great comfortable boot.

Momo: My husband and I bought our first pair snowboard boots in the store . The staff are nice and knowledgeable, they give lots of advice for choosing the boots . Prices are reasonable for the beginners as well .

J R: Fantastic ski shop with exceptional service. David was amazing and super patient helping my girlfriend pick out the right pair of boots.

Andrew: My wife and I have had a fantastic experience this year getting ski boots at Sturtevant’s. Vanessa specifically is amazing and has helped transform my ski boots to meet comfort and power. It’s amazing that I can now ski pain free with chronic foot pain due to her recommendations and adjustments. The whole team is great, but she’s the primary reason we will keep returning to Sturtevant’s for all of our ski gear.

Vivian Chin: Such friendly staff and a large selection of inventory!! Matt from Park City helped me with my ski bootfitting and he was SO helpful and nice!! He called other stores to see if they had a particular boot, and it was in stock at another location and shipped quickly to this Bellevue location within a few days.Update: came back a year later since I got more uses out of my boots and found that my right boot was crunching my pinky toe. Collin helped me with it very quickly and it fits wonderfully now! It was complimentary too since I bought my boots here originally. Also big shout-out to Brant who helped me understand that I needed better footbeds.Davis was very knowledgeable and quick when helping my bf with his snowboard boots.Would definitely recommend coming here!

Renata Gaspari: The staff at this store is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They are patient and quick to respond to any questions that beginners, such as myself, may have about skiing. Dani, in particular, has been very attentive to my needs so far. I personally enjoy renting skis and purchasing snow clothes from this store.

Dan M: Great rental experience. Cheaper than up at the mountain, better gear, and much easier to deal with. Get your gear here and then head straight to the lift line. Should be even faster next time since they will have my kid's sizes on file.

Fairmont Olympic Hotel - Seattle: what do users think?

Mercy Cherotich: The services was great

Tera Jones: What a treat to stay here. The suite we stayed in was so comfortable and beautiful. I love how the bathroom was so separate from the bedroom. The building is absolutely incredible! I felt like i was in Downton Abbey. The location is, of course, excellent and mostly walking distance to where we wanted to go. Everyone was so friendly and even patient for the night we had a few cocktails. Room service was great also! Their breakfast is to die for. I'm a sucker for good eggs Benedict. The king crab benedict... wow. And the dining beyond that was exquisite as well.

Nick Villanti: , which worked great for the kids. Also had large hot tub with fill fitness center too.We did room service twice and the food was pretty good.Parking is offsite in a shared garage. You can self park or valet. Just make sure everything is out of the car. I wouldn't want to leave anything inside.

Yanderyn “CalCo” Shoup: Visited for the speakeasy vibe. Very nice and elegant. Takes a while to get in but wait area is wonderful.Food & drinks: Pricey but great! Atmosphere was chill.

黃薏涵: Finally, with the help of the concierge employee Sayaka, he found my friend's information and asked my friend to ask for my address.I thought this matter would be over, but it wasn’t!The director actually wrote me a letter today

Bella Official: #love this place is amazing best REI ever there's so many cool things a person could ever want or need for outdoor fun . Something for everyone #love

Thomas Ruth: I've been going there's for 5 years now with good prices

Pam Tagliavia: Great selection of clothing, even plenty of plus sized stuff.

Lia G: absolutely must visit store even if you are not looking to purchase outdoor sport equipment. my friend showed me this place and i absolutely loved it

Jesse S.: Very interesting exterior; didn't expect to see a miniature trail and a waterfall there. The outdoor patio has lots of seating. The store is big and has a climbing wall, a fireplace, bathrooms, and a nice lounge area with books and guides.

Anthony Labarca: Best REI! If you’re in town, highly recommend you check it out. Recommend checking out the garage sale section of the store - it’s definitely the biggest garage sale section of any store I’ve been to.Very cool to see this place! They have their own parking garage and it is free if you spend under an hour shopping.

Vikas Hanumegowda: Crazy good products. I got introduced to this store via climbing gear requirements.

Gary H Y Zhu: First of all the store is amazing, that’s been established already. Definitely worth a visit even as a tourist spot. But today I was touched by the amazing customer service I received. Honestly still kind of emotional.I was looking for a hiking boot for the weekend but came really late. Like 2 minutes before they close late. I was really just browsing and didn’t expect much but a sales rep approached us and took so much time and care measuring my feet, giving me hiking socks to try, and letting me try some shoes. In the end it took about 15 minutes, but I just felt so appreciative. Honestly this is what makes REI the best. If the rep ever sees this, it’s a dude, thank you again!!
