evo Seattle Store: what do users think?

Elizabeth Ambrus: to go through an in-depth fitting with me and to explain all of the nuances along the way. And I ended up with a phenomenal pair of boots! Would 100% recommend coming to evo for any ski and snowboard services!

mark hetrick: I had an issue with binding mounting recently that was enough to be very noticeable. After a few phone calls and of three times sending me to someone else who could supposedly help I just went to the store in Seattle. I live 3 hrs away including a ferry ride, so not a trivial trip. I’m happy to say EVO made it right and gave me a new off the rack same pair of skiis and mounted properly. So a bit of a runaround but fully satisfied with the solution! Great guys in the shop!!!!

Loten Lhatsang: Came to get new snow board boots and equipment and had an amazing time with Joe. He answered all my questions and I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

barbara kielhofer: GET YOUR BOOTS HERE! I thought I was cursed to a lifetime of foot pain but after not one but two days of adjustments my life has been changed...they even said to come back if it gets bad again. Customer service through the roof to get you the perfect fit. They actually care and how many places can you say that about these days?

William Briere: and evo still did heat molding for me on them

Robert Galvin: A few different people helped me buy a few different pieces of ski gear and they are all super friendly and knowledgeable, 10/10 would buy from them again

Ethan Busse: Shoutout Dan! My gf needed to get her boots fitted as they were a size and a half too small. Dan was eager to help and did an amazing job getting them to fit perfectly!

Seattle Ski and Snowboard: what do users think?

Anita Nowacka: Very cool independent shop. Great customer service experience. Oliver helped me getting exactly what I needed: high quality Smith Googles w/ a yellow decor touch to match my other gear. He took time and we found the pair for me. I will be back for more. They had a sale too.

Allison Stafford: Amazing boot fitting by Kyle! Very knowledgeable and able to fix all pressure points. 10/10 would recommend.

Torsten Stein: Fantastic service! Got skis for my son and boots for me.

Jon Halfaker: Preparing for my L2 ski exams and my skis got damaged beyond repair. Called them late Friday, the pulled a pair of Kendo 88s aside, and by 11 am last Saturday I had new skis with a spring setup ready to test. One day of practice was all I had, but the skis were tuned and set so well, one day was all I needed to adjust. Passed my L2s! Would not have happened without their great assistance and technical support. Bought all my skis, my wife’s skis, and my sons’ skis from this team. Small but stocked and always friendly. Thanks Seattle Ski and Snowboard!!! 5 Star service!!!

Tiffany Chiu: We’ve had great experience with the rental equipment, especially when picking up on Friday/returning on Sunday is counted as one day. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly all the time and provided great service; special thanks to the boot fitter, Joe. He was very patient, professional, kind, and he provided useful tips for skiers. Highly recommend this place for any snowboarder and skiers!

Allegra Hopkins: Joe is incredibly knowledgeable about skis, bindings, and boots and great at tailoring and explaining his recommendations to each individual skier. He was also super patient with my indecision on skis and finally helped me figure out what was best for me. Highly recommend working with him next time you need a new pair!

Svilen Kronchev: Great place awsome service defenetly recommend

Doug Kisker: I love this place! My kids are fairly new to skiing, but every single member of the staff has been relaxed about getting them fit for rental gear, no matter how many times my kids think something isn't right with the boots. The staff is patient, professional, knowledgeable, and frankly - they're all really nice! I'm almost sad that the end of this ski season means I won't get to see them as often. Oh well - looking forward to renting from them next season!

Izzy H: These people know their stuff! I'm a newbie and was a little nervous to rent my snowboard, but these guys set me at ease, helped educate me on what I needed, and made me feel really confident. Definitely will be back anytime I need expert snowboard advice.

Joe Skokan: . Both models work for me, but independent shops offer a more personal experience, especially when the folks are in it for the long haul; there's visible investment by employees which I appreciate and helps my decision to return.

Eric Spencer: Second time going here, and great service, well serviced equipment.

Mollie Dwivedi: We’ve had an amazing experience over several trips here all season long. We’ve worked with several staff members to get geared up for the season after a several year hiatus. They all took the time to explain the ins and outs, for both rentals and snow gear.Kyle has been fantastic to work with for updating my snowboard equipment. He took the time to understand what I’m looking for and work with me, which is much appreciated, because I felt dismissed at another popular shop. Thank you Seattle Ski and Snowboard!!

hjc#2: We have rented here for years with our kids and they have always been very knowledgeable with reasonable prices. They have a large inventory of skiing and snowboard equipment.Today we were unable to go skiing and they were kind enough to credit our account. That's great customer service.Highly recommended.

Evan: Great place for beginners, friendly and knowledgeable folks. Thanks Kyle 🙂

Gaurav Gohil: Got my boots over here this season!Joe was fantastic and is extremely knowledgeable about everything ski related. I highly recommend him. I even got my Season rentals last season here and have had nothing but positive experiences so far with everyone at this business.

Mountain to Sound Outfitters: what do users think?

Rob Braby: SUPER helpful, knowledgeable and personable staff. I’ve both rented and purchased from M2S and each experience has been great. They operate like a local ski shop should - friendly, laid back, not rushed, and don’t push sales. The staffers seem to enjoy their jobs and want to help.I wanted to give Noah a shout out for a great consultation on demo skis today! He walked me through a lot of detail on different skis, considerations for purchasing, and his experience demoing the different options.

Carl Silverberg: There is a good reason this is my go-to place for ski & kayak equipment. Always get great advice! I went to get a pair of goggles at the end of season sale and left with a helmet/goggle all in one combo. I used it this week at Alyeska and for the first time I was able to wear my glasses while skiing. It's a great system, we tried a few, the Giro worked the best and the input from MTS was fantastic.

Sahil Ashar: Bought my first snowboard season rental from them for the 24/25 season - reasonably priced, great quality, and was overall a fantastic experience. Hal and Shannon are excellent, highly recommend!

Darren Mills: Just purchased all snowboarding gear at a great discount! Thank you, Koa and Shannon you were super helpful and very nice!

Ed Failano: The shop employees are extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable. I grew up in Hawaii visiting my local surf shop as a teen and the vibe these cats at MTN to Sound remind me of the good old days and how they work to earn your biz. They also let me browse without expectation of purchasing even though I’d rather give them biz because they’re a mom and pop shop. Shop here and you won’t regret the expert service and great selection!

Dune Desormeaux: Fantastic experience getting our first adult skis from M2S. Service was great, location was convenient, selection rocked, and we are super happy with the results!

Caitlin Boulware: As if you needed another excuse to shop local! Only good experiences with everyone at the shop, the selection is great, the prices are right, and Koa was the right person to help us find our new favorite skis. No pressure, only solid guidance from very friendly folks.

Kody Henderson: Knowledgeable people. Fast service. Was able to get my skis tuned up in one day. Making sure I will be set for my trip.

Isaac Conlen: I had a great experience at this ski shop! they were friendly and knowledgeable. I picked up snowboard wax for use at home, got a hot wax on my board, and also got my kids ski bindings adjusted on the spot! Highly recommended!

Sebastian Arrangoiz: Super friendly staff and good service!

Emil Gregor: Got a hot wax done real quick. Nice local shop with a lot of gear and sales.

emma sancartier: Great service, Thank for a super speedy board wax!

N: Greta prices and a variety!

Linh Vũ: This place is our family's go-to for snow gear. Koa knows his stuff and set my husband up with his first board. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend!!

Heather Corbin: I feel extremely lucky to have these guys in my neighborhood. They have helped me out with some stubborn boot repairs and took care of my neglected/wellloved skiis. They also saved me when I was heading out to the North Cascades and had forgotten to get extra strap for securing my skies to the snowmobile. Solid local business.

andy luley: I've bought snowboarding gear and gotten my boots fitted here. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgable, and I never felt like they were talking down to me or anything. Very inclusive

Neil Kanungo: Awesome service for my snowboards and good guidance from the staff!

Thomas Prieur: I’ve come in a couple times and have had great experiences talking with the staff about winter equipment! I definitely will be recommending this to friends that are looking to rent or buy, and will be back for summertime sport gear for sure.

Justin Mikitaroff: Awesome service and selection of anything you need!

Jordan Afaga: The staff here were super friendly in helping me getting my board ready for the slopes! Hot wax service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Mini Mountain Indoor Ski Center: what do users think?

Shih-Wei Su: Ski rental, indoor lessons, and limited goods

Jari Haile: This place is great! I was a complete scaredy cat about mountains and skiing but my friends are really into it. I wanted a place to practice and learn skills without the fear of falling off a mountain. Lol. This place was great for me. It really helped me address my fears and the instructors were great. I really loved working with David and I got to work with Ryan once which was also a great experience. I also got the chance to go to bunny slopes and eventually green runs in between lessons which was great to make the lessons more meaningful and focused. I took 6 lessons in total.

Andrew Larsen: So, I'll start by saying the online reservation process was not very intuitive but Kevin and John offered my kiddos a free lesson and additional time when someone didn't show up. That is why this place gets 5 stars, for treating me and my family like we mattered. It was also a great lesson with great teachers.

Daniel Thurman: David is a FANTASTIC instructor with young kids! My daughter is 3 and loves Lion King, so he quickly built a rapport with her by asking her Lion King questions before smoothly transitioning into telling her some tips about skiing. She had so much fun and learned a ton in just 1 lesson. 10/10There are other instructors at Mini Mountain who are great for older kids, adults, etc but if you have a very young kid who needs some patience and confidence-boosting, David's THE go-to instructor.

Ovia Kemigisha: This is the second season my kids are taking lessons here, and I’ve never found a more family friendly establishment. The instructors care about the kids’ progress and teach while still being mindful not to over push. I think we’ve had every instructor and they are all great! Awesome place.. awesome people.10/10

Sandhya Karnati: Got rentals for skiing season 2023-24. The staff were super cool and friendly. Waiting to attend our indoor classes soon

Yang Yang: Attitude Nice

Janna Ott: Indoor ski lessons here helped our daughter to overcome years of fear of skiing and ski lessons. She had multiple bad experiences at the mountain, but the one on one lessons, comfort of not being cold, and feedback from instructors for three months prior to our season had her doing green runs and chair lifts independently on the mountain! Thank you all!

Alpine Hut: what do users think?

David Murphey: Took a bike in there the other day for maintenance. Couple hours later I got a call informing me the bike wasn't the ideal bike to service. Apparently parts are obsolete. They didn't want to spend my money and risk not being able to 100% fix the bike. As an automotive technician, I really appreciate that. So, today I bought 3 bikes from them. These people are awsome!! They will continue to get my business!

Max Keenan: Knowledgeable staff that cares. Great turn around times for services, always beat or meet estimated times. Probably the best ski shop in Seattle

Kurokitsune Yuuki: Disclaimer: I haven't been into the shop yet, but I made a phone call with a boot question that has an almost impossible solution. The wonderful woman who answered the phone had the knowledge to provide me with the info I needed and was extremely helpful and kind. I can see why this place has the reputation that it does, and I will be in for a boot fitting in the near future. Definitely a five star shop. I can't wait to go check out the store.

Hal Kussick: These guys are the best, whether it be boot fitting or general service. Kyle and Sarah have taken great care of me and my family.

John S: Price was great and super helpful/accommodating staff!

Chris Smutny: Alpine Hut is our go to shop for skis, ski boots and bikes. They team is spectacular whether it is outfitting youth with skis/boots/bikes, or advanced adult skiers. Most recently I had a boot blow out less than a week before an out of town ski trip. As everyone knows, it is not a good idea to go big with new boots. Kyle spent two hours with me working through boots and the custom fitting. Based on his work, I was able to do a three day heli trip with brand new boots. All of this was done with a less than 24 hour lead time. In essence, they saved a trip.I'd also like to give Sarah a big shoutout. She knows her stuff across skiing and biking and has infectious enthusiasm.

Kris Lange: Fantastic ski shop, extremely knowledgeable staff and a great selection!I’ve purchased boots here and had skis tuned here. The staff worked with me to dial in the boots to a great fit. Edge tunes/waxes/base grinds always come back great.Happy to say, Alpine Hut is the best in town.

rob gray: Alpine Hut is my go-to ski shop in Seattle - I drive past several other closer shops to go here for my alpine ski needs. It's got classic ski-shop vibes - old school gear and posters are mixed into an excellent product mix. What really sets this place apart though is the staff - Kyle is a master boot fitter and helped dial in the fit on my new boots for my notoriously tricky feet. They also expertly mounted my new skis and bindings. Support your local shop run by real skiers and head to Alpine hut! Also: If you're lucky you can pet the shop dogs!

Eileen Mizwicki: Sarah’s enthusiasm and knowledge made my bike buying process easy. I love my new bike! Very friendly and helpful staff!

Chelsea Castle: Alpine Hut squeezed us in on their Sunday repairs schedule to fix a minor rotor dent and pump up our tires. They always have excellent recommendations on gear and technical questions and everyone who works here is so helpful and accommodating. Loved meeting the new shop dog in-training, Charlie, the goodest girl.

Kellen Morse: Very helpful and kind staff.

Tom Eggert: I got some boot work done. Haven’t had a comfortable boot like this in many years. Great service great people. Highly recommended!

MOTION BOARDSHOP: what do users think?

Shivam Saggar: Amazing Folks. Helpful and people working there know what they are doing! Great vibe. Amazing renting experience.

Chase Hollen: he knows his stuff, and cares more about getting you setup right vs making $$ selling you stuff you don’t need. He will forever have my business.

Bryn Johnson: . 2 seasons ago I stumbled into Motion and am I glad I did. Since then I've visted many times for many reasons and I've always left with the gear I need and a smile on my face. Even if you don't know exactly what you need or if you do, stop by today.I'll see you there!

Alan Wen: brand new.If you're a snowboarder in the Seattle area and haven't taken a trip to Motion Boardshop yet, you're doing yourself a major disservice. I mean, what other shop will delay its own opening so its employees can shred a little longer on a pow day?

C McKenna: Motion Boardshop is just up the street from University Village Shopping Center. They have skateboards of all kinds and sizes, snowboards, wheels, safety gear and other board accessories. There’s a lot of beautiful board designs to choose from. If you want to build a custom skateboard, they said to estimate between $180-$300+ depending on the board & components. I’m not sure what other skateboard shop would offer this much variety - my skater kid was impressed.

Henry: Nate is a fantastic guy. He’s super chill and is extremely helpful. I came to get my board tuned up and he explained what’s needed to be done and he finished it within 2 days. His pricing is competitive, but more importantly, he prioritizes his customers satisfaction over profit. He earned my business going forward.

James: When we first started snowboarding, we came here initially because of rental availability. However because of how well the folks there have treated us and helped us throughout our beginner journey, we try to give them as much of our business as possible.Mike and Nate are extremely knowledgeable people and the board pricing and servicing is very reasonable.Cannot recommend Motion Boardshop enough.

Sam Mireles: Great place , amazing people. Definitely a go to for longboard and snowboard gear .

kevlarsov: Motion kills it, best shop around.

Holly Stanfield: Motion Boardshop is the place to go for all of your longboarding needs! Longboarding has been a hobby of mine since childhood, but I took a ten year hiatus, and needed to start from scratch on a new setup. I also wanted to introduce my partner to the sport. Nate, the owner, helped us each pick out the right setup for us individually, explaining every intricate detail of what each component does and how it affects your cruise. I initially came with the intention of buying a much more expensive setup, and he led me to the perfect setup for my needs which was much more affordable. Motion Boardshop also has a HUGE selection of unique, locally manufactured decks and components, which are all top tier in quality. We will definitely be back when we are ready to start the more expensive board sport...

Will Cowgill: By far the best longboard shop in Seattle! Motion boardshop carries difficult to find specialized items, in stock, and has loads of knowledge to back it up! Great shop, great people, and a community focus. What more could you ask for? Plus they all shred!!!

Cody Lane: I've always wanted to take my 5 year old daughter to a Skateshop for the first time and she needed a new helmet while I needed a new cruising setup. We originally went to hit up Black Market on Aurora they weren't open during their normal business hours so I called up Motion and spoke to Michael. He was immediately helpful and told us to come by. At the shop, Michael answered all my questions no matter how many I had and made me and my daughter feel welcome the entire time. We picked up a cruising board complete and a helmet and we couldn't be any more stoked. Thanks Michael!

Dale Burks: We came to Motion Board Shop in winter and custom built a board with these guys’ expertise. What started off as a noob build ended up being the best build. And we were made smart on why the board changed along the way. This past weekend my son was able to spend a lot of time on that board and his skills grew. He was able to understand the whys of the build and his experience became more enjoyable.I can’t thank Motion Board Shop enough. It was fun building the board while learning about the shop. And even more to see my son get busy on his new board.Go build a board for yourself or someone you love and give the greatest outdoor experience.

Hannah andral: Just went in and bought my first board! The worker was super nice, funny, was super honest, and gave good advice. He let me try a bunch of boards and I think I found the right one. Basically in love with my new board and I will be going there for any other skating needs!

Adam Kahn: If you are looking to buy a board or bindings or have any questions about riding, this is the spot. They are super helpful and assist in finding the right board for what you’re looking for. Will be going here every time for any snowboarding need.

Silvershade dragon (SilverShade): is fantastic, he's not in it for the money, he's in it to bring more people into boarding. Great advice, great listening skills, cheap rental gear

Play It Again Sports & Ski: what do users think?

Hannah Jette: Purchased a brand new set of skies, boots and snow gear yesterday. I wasn’t planning on purchasing a whole new set but they had an awesome selection and a few really key items on sale for the end of the season. Dave was so helpful and patient setting me up! I’ll for sure be back.

B: Great customer service! Very knowledgeable and eager to help with boot fitting. Fair prices.

Alex L.: Knowledgeable staff and decent selection for new and used gear

Brandon Valencia: FYI, if anyone wants to sell a bike here, it needs to wait until spring season

Lawrence Fosnick Davis: Great service and selection. They were very fair on the trade in bicycle too. Call or email ahead with any questions. Full range of gear new and used.

Christopher Gu: Recently purchased a bike off of FB marketplace and needed to have it checked up as well as a tune up. The staff took my bike in for a few days and gave it back in tip-top shape! They were also super helpful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and how I should be taking care of various parts. In the end, they mentioned my bike was already pretty tuned up and only charged me for the items they replaced/fixed. Will definitely be coming back for any bike service needs!

Adam Farhan: Super friendly and helpful staff. Traded in some golf clubs and walked out with a Ping G410 3 Wood. Couldn’t be happier. Small golf selection, but there were very high quality, barley used clubs. Ping, Titleist, Taylor Made.

Tim Van Harmelen: This is not in a location that we would typically frequent being from Lynden. But, when we saw online that they had a new baseball bat in stock that we had been looking for, we decided to give it a try. We called ahead to make sure the bat was in fact in stock. The guy that answered the phone was clearly busy but still took the time to look for it. When he couldn't find it, he explained that he was in the middle of helping another customer but would be happy to call me back if I wanted. We decided to stop by and found the bat we were looking for. We were impressed with the selection of both new and used items. Including the latest high-end youth baseball bats. In store the employees were once again very busy helping other customers, but just as pleasant and helpful as on the phone.

Nicole Marie: Extremely helpful staff, and surprising amount of new snowboarding boots! Went to REI first, and they only had one pair of snowboarding boots in my husbands size available. Play it again was just down the street, and we were pleasantly surprised by all the options! They also have a better return policy is an Evo, but not as good as REI.

Jay Desai: Was looking for binding disc and this was the only shop with Burton reflex 4x4. Great shop, customer service.

Ryan Gillies: Super helpful service, spent a ton of time helping me adjust my bindings when my boots didn’t fit

Boston Ballard Boyz Ski Shop: what do users think?

Esperanza Cirilo: incredible. Sublime. amazing. Get these guys some brews and learn. Saves money in the long term. The nicest people for a new boarder.

Ganesh Dalal: Had an awesome experience with the Boston Ballard Boyz last week. Will walked me through the ski waxing process and had me ready to go for the season!

Lauren D: Last year, Will squeezed in my last minute appointment when I was desperate to get my brand new skis waxed before a ski trip to Idaho. I’m ever so grateful for him. He was very helpful in demoing how to wax them as well as correcting me when I screwed up. I have recommended him to my ski buddies and will definitely revisit when I need help with base repair. He is just as knowledgeable as the more expensive folks at the established ski shops in town. Thanks Will!

Olivia Cowart: Had a great time and learned a lot. Owner is really invested in growing the skiing/snowboarding community.

Natalie Carroll: . Will helped me out and he did one ski then handed off the tools to me to do the second. It was so great and so easy! Plus I got them back right away instead of a few days wait from a store plus the cost. So great! Definitely will use them again if I ever need to.

Keren Tseytlin: If you want to learn about winter gear maintenance this is the place for you! Super cool, welcoming, and so much fun!

Amy Mitchell: These guys are awesome! Walked us through how to wax our skis and chatted about skiing in the area. Can't recommend them enough!

Ilan Rosen: Can't recommend these blokes enough! They have an awesome basement setup and are super knowledgeable! Not only did I get my skis waxed, they also showed me how to do it myself, and all for just a 6-pack of beer!Truly Seattle's best kept secret.

Chris Nad: Awesome guys! Super helpful to a new skier like myself. Will definitely be back

Jamie Bando: Came in to get my skis waxed. Super great to have these guys show me the basics and supply all the tools you need from start to finish.Located in their rad gear basement, these guys are true advocates of the outdoors and they just want to make it easier for folks to get outside and learn to take care of their equipment. Awesome thing they’ve got going for the community! Thanks for helping me out last week!Glad I came in and gave my 6-pack offering to learn the first steps that I’ll take with me for many seasons to come. Reservation system is super easy through Will’s website. Check these guys out. Many thanks BBB Ski Shop!

Noah Zimmt: Reasonable prices; good turnaround time. Bonus: one of the owners has a super friendly dog!

REI: what do users think?

Bella Official: #love this place is amazing best REI ever there's so many cool things a person could ever want or need for outdoor fun . Something for everyone #love

Thomas Ruth: I've been going there's for 5 years now with good prices

Pam Tagliavia: Great selection of clothing, even plenty of plus sized stuff.

Lia G: absolutely must visit store even if you are not looking to purchase outdoor sport equipment. my friend showed me this place and i absolutely loved it

Jesse S.: Very interesting exterior; didn't expect to see a miniature trail and a waterfall there. The outdoor patio has lots of seating. The store is big and has a climbing wall, a fireplace, bathrooms, and a nice lounge area with books and guides.

Anthony Labarca: Best REI! If you’re in town, highly recommend you check it out. Recommend checking out the garage sale section of the store - it’s definitely the biggest garage sale section of any store I’ve been to.Very cool to see this place! They have their own parking garage and it is free if you spend under an hour shopping.

Vikas Hanumegowda: Crazy good products. I got introduced to this store via climbing gear requirements.

Gary H Y Zhu: First of all the store is amazing, that’s been established already. Definitely worth a visit even as a tourist spot. But today I was touched by the amazing customer service I received. Honestly still kind of emotional.I was looking for a hiking boot for the weekend but came really late. Like 2 minutes before they close late. I was really just browsing and didn’t expect much but a sales rep approached us and took so much time and care measuring my feet, giving me hiking socks to try, and letting me try some shoes. In the end it took about 15 minutes, but I just felt so appreciative. Honestly this is what makes REI the best. If the rep ever sees this, it’s a dude, thank you again!!

Sturtevant's: what do users think?

Zhaheen Dhimas: The staff is friendly, very helpful and efficient. Even during busy times, one of the staff members helped explain the different considerations when making certain choices around skis, ski poles etc.The dropping back off the ski rental equipment is also quick and smooth.

Alex: An institution.

Erkin George: Super easy to rent or buy gear here! The staff were very helpful and easy to work with.

Richard: Based on friend's recommendations, I bought a pair of ski boots here about four years ago. They were expertly fitted and I've been really happy with them. Fast forward to a month ago and now my right foot was hurting because I had developed plantar fasciitis before the ski season. I brought the boots in to see if I could get some help and get back to the slopes. Brant, in the boot fitting area, fixed me up with some heel lifts for my boots and now I'm skiing pain free. I'm so grateful for his expert help and there was no charge just, "your continued patronage."Great store, great people that go out of their way to provide service after the sale. Thank you!

Adi Fenesan: Best place to buy ski and tennis equipment! In case you have questions... go there and just ask. You'll be amazed about the details and how knowledgeable these guys are.

Ricco DiStefano: The crew was helpful and knowledgeable. The gear was in great condition too!

xander harris: My man Brody, super helpful 5/5 stars

Jake: Kali is one of the best people I've ever worked with. She helped me out with choosing a board when I wasn't quite sure what size to get and we swapped it out with a bigger one after I was able to try one out. Today, my BOA lace snapped and brought it in and she was able to fix it. I highly recommend coming here for any purchases, advice, or concerns about any outdoor sport.

Jack Roberts: Otto in the boot shop is a wizard.

John Redl: Bought new ski boots! Russell was a great help, really knows how to get me into the best fit, took his time to work through all the process steps to ensure a great comfortable boot.

Momo: My husband and I bought our first pair snowboard boots in the store . The staff are nice and knowledgeable, they give lots of advice for choosing the boots . Prices are reasonable for the beginners as well .

J R: Fantastic ski shop with exceptional service. David was amazing and super patient helping my girlfriend pick out the right pair of boots.

Andrew: My wife and I have had a fantastic experience this year getting ski boots at Sturtevant’s. Vanessa specifically is amazing and has helped transform my ski boots to meet comfort and power. It’s amazing that I can now ski pain free with chronic foot pain due to her recommendations and adjustments. The whole team is great, but she’s the primary reason we will keep returning to Sturtevant’s for all of our ski gear.

Vivian Chin: Such friendly staff and a large selection of inventory!! Matt from Park City helped me with my ski bootfitting and he was SO helpful and nice!! He called other stores to see if they had a particular boot, and it was in stock at another location and shipped quickly to this Bellevue location within a few days.Update: came back a year later since I got more uses out of my boots and found that my right boot was crunching my pinky toe. Collin helped me with it very quickly and it fits wonderfully now! It was complimentary too since I bought my boots here originally. Also big shout-out to Brant who helped me understand that I needed better footbeds.Davis was very knowledgeable and quick when helping my bf with his snowboard boots.Would definitely recommend coming here!

Renata Gaspari: The staff at this store is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They are patient and quick to respond to any questions that beginners, such as myself, may have about skiing. Dani, in particular, has been very attentive to my needs so far. I personally enjoy renting skis and purchasing snow clothes from this store.

Dan M: Great rental experience. Cheaper than up at the mountain, better gear, and much easier to deal with. Get your gear here and then head straight to the lift line. Should be even faster next time since they will have my kid's sizes on file.

Gravity Sports: what do users think?

Neydi: Unfortunately we did not get the name of the person working the shop but he was very knowledgeable, chatty, and welcoming. Lots of gear ranging from rollerskates, boards, helmets, etc. Looking for a local shop to support? Look no further!

George Chvoj: This is not only a great skate shop. They also sell and service the only US made Dale ski boots. One of the buckles on my boot broke and Mike did a great job fixing it. That resulted in good savings for me.

Kirsten: Was introduced to this shop from an old coworker back in 2021 and I love this shop super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have bought two board from here and both are great! Purple one was my first board bought in 2021 vector one was bought 2023 🙂going to go back soon and buy some pink wheels!

Daniel Simons: I went in today looking for some new wheels for my longboard. The gentleman working there was extremely helpful and friendly, he showed me a selection of wheels and helped me pick the best option based on how I ride, plus he showed me how to install the new wheels on my board. I'm just bummed I forgot to ask for his name, but I'll definitely be back the next time I need something for my board!

Thomas Germain: Best skate shop experience I've ever had. Picked up skates and some odds and ends for snowboard and skateboard. Great prices, lower than Internet.

Jacob Billy: The owner Mike runs the shop. He was able to quickly find a solution to replace one of my snowboard toe bindings. Truly one of the kindest & helpful dudes you’ll meet. More than fair prices! If you need help with any sports gear and not sure where to start, Mike is the man.

Rose B: This place is so special. Old school. Kids built-their-own skateboards and the owner was phenomenal. Keep this place alive, they don’t don’t make ‘em like this anymore!

Reese: Authentic and genuine long lasting skate shop. Loved my experience here!

Mika Andrew: Bought skates here two years ago and came back recently for more parts. The staff are super helpful and friendly and interested in getting you what you want/need.

Chanchai Khantiko: Awesome people!! And the puppy Bella was chill. I love my new skateboard thanks again!!

josh murray: Great place Mike was very professional and put my skate together very well right in front of me.

Cristopher: Support your local skate shop! Much love guys 🤙

Grant Wiggins: support this shop for any skate needs. forget about zumies

Chris Saffel: Fantastic experience from end to end! My daughter and I went to check the place out and David walked her through the whole build, showing her how to assemble the entire board. The experience was a great reminder of what customer service is supposed to be! Do not buy on line, and do not buy from a Big Box! Go here, and you’ll be glad you did!

Clara: This place is unlike any shop I've ever been in! The owner is so kind and attentive. He walked me through everything I needed to know and helped me pick out all the right gear. He made sure I tried on everything, it fit, and adjusted what needed adjustment. I walked in totally clueless and left with everything I needed. The space itself is beyond rad- check out the ceiling, it's a museum in and of itself!

Michael Cunningham: Awesome Local Skate shop. One of the oldest in WA state. Very knowledgeable and patient with my son and I. Shots out to Mike for being so cool!

Bothell Ski & Bike: what do users think?

Brandon Lowder: Very friendly staff and probably one the best bike shops I've been to.

Ro Shaw: I had a very positive experience with the bicycle service department. Other local bicycle stores suggested a brake bleed would require they take my bike for a week. When I took my bike in to Bothell Ski and Bike, I was greeted by friendly staff and then Eric in the service department just fixed the issue straight away, 10 minutes max. Additionally he offered a lot of valuable maintenance and set up advice and answered all of my questions with patience and attention. Before leaving we noticed another minor set up issue on the bike and Eric fixed it on the spot at no additional charge. Speaking of which, as the brake bleed was straight forward, they charged me a discounted price, very honest behavior in my opinion, and a smart way to make loyal customers. Wonderful experience, I was very impressed.

Chris Rapier: I wanted to get back into cycling since I live near so many great bike trails but I hadn't been in the market for a bike since 2013. As a result I was a bit clueless about what to get.Thankfully great brick and mortar stores like Bothell Ski & Bike still exist. Online research is great but only goes so far, being able to talk to real people who are experienced, knowledgeable and really into what they do makes a big difference. That describes everyone I've dealt with at Bothell Ski & Bike.Everyone was really friendly and patient with all my OCD questions and I wound up with a great bike and the perfect set of accessories, all well under my planned budget. I love the bike I bought and it's great to know that if I ever have any issues with the it, I have a great shop close by that has my back.I will definelty be back when I'm ready to upgrade to my next bike or for any other bike related needs. If your looking for a bike I highly recommend them, please support great local businesses like this!

Sam Bruns: I've been here twice now to buy parts or tools. They have a very helpful staff and a good selection of stuff. Can't say enough good things about this bike shop

Daniel Johnston: Very friendly and informative, great selection. Special shout-out to Donny and the other mechs for squeezing in a tune up for me and my friend. Best bike shop in the area by far!

Chris Powell: Took my bike in because it wasn't shifting on the front derailer. Fully expected that I would need to leave my bike and it would cost a couple hundred. Drew threw my bike up on the station and took a quick look. Told me that the older bikes sometimes have the grease gum up in the brifter and that is what is occurring. Set my expectations that he may be able to fix it there or I could need to replace the brifters. Took a moment fixed it right away and was way less than I expected.

Paul & Maggy DL: We called ahead & came to pickup bike boxes to help with our move. SUPER FRIENDLY staff, despite not being paying customers during our visit! GREAT EXPERIENCE

Daniel Bridenbecker: Friendly service, right next to the Burke-Gilman. They even let us leave our car in their lot while we road bikes

Megan Hine: Went in today just to look for a kids 20" bike bc we were in a hurry and didn't expect to buy. The guy that assisted us was so patient and helpful and we found my daughter a perfect used excellent shape bike.

Chandler Lauritzen: Helped me understand what I was doing wrong with adjusting my brakes and replaced the crimped end i broke off.Fair, honest and informative individuals.

Greg M: I ordered a couple of bike wheels at a reasonable price and they ship them very fast, so I have to say that BOTHELL SKI AND BIKE, is a great company that made sure I received my package within a couple days. Great looking wheel and solid built in the USA. You can’t make a mistake if you will order any bike needs from these folks from now! Thank you Greg.
