Josh Gifford: Amazing service, above and beyond. I live in Anchorage, AK and I was looking to upgrade to McIntosh gear and high end B&W. There are no dealers up here for that equipment, so logistically this could be challenging. When I called Definitive Seattle to discuss audio gear and upgrading my system, Mel Mesick took the call. Immediately, we clicked and throughout the entire proceess from up here to listening in the showroom, he went above and beyond any other salesman I have ever worked with. The knowledge and expertise he has at his fingertips will blow you away. I have only come across a couple salespeople in my life that have been this knowledgeable. He spent hours over the phone and in person discussing options, suggesting cost effective solutions, coordinating the listening session, and expertly shipping and crating all the equipment to a standard I have not experienced before. In the end, the system is beyond what I could imagine and I consider Mel a friend as much as a salesman. Thanks again Mel!

Susan: a couple of weeks later, he came to my house and gave me a tutorial. He has followed up along the way to make sure everything is working and sounding A-OK. To me, customer service and quality products are worth a few extra bucks. Just say no to big box stores.
David Dickey: I have been shopping at Definitive on-and-off for 25 years for various audio-related things, and have always been happy with them. In fact, my original salesperson from back in 1990, Tom, is still working in the store! I am a rare upgrader, but it came time for an all-new system, which for me this time meant going all digital. This time around I worked with Paul, and he has been fantastic. He has always been happy and ready to back up his beliefs and statements with real-world demonstrations for me to hear. I spent many hours with Paul on many different days, and he was always the most pleasant and helpful person, whether I showed up unannounced or at a prearranged time. Ultimately, after shopping around and listening out of town to speakers that were not available in Washington, I again purchased at Definitive. They know what they are doing, we put together what I wanted in my budget, and they can simply deliver. And, the support through all of this has been awesome! Thank you for 25+ happy years of music, with many more to come!

Ty Miller: Absolutely 100% enjoyable experience purchasing from Definitive. And more specifically Carrie, who stuck with me for weeks as I bounced around from speakers to preamps to streamers. Turns out everything I thought I wanted initially, wasn't actually the best solution and she really helped me find the right component to do what I wanted. And better, this piece is so nice I can't believe it. Who knew changing from an AV receiver using pre-outs to a Streamer/DAC would have such a major impact on the sound, but it did and it is a significant difference. Like going from DVD to 4K UHD. Thats the only thing I can compare it to in terms of me being "wow" when I first set it up.So much for internet research, highly recommend you have Carrie help you when you're looking for hifi components!

The customer service is excellent, they register all new tools for you, their selection is huge. One tool required a battery that they didn't have in stock so they gave me a loaner battery to use, for free, while they ordered a new battery for me. Service like that keeps me coming back, they are my go to Stihl dealer.
Alex R: Rented a helium tank, unfortunately it was not refilled correctly so it didn't last longer than 10 balloons. However the team there offered to bring me one and timing wise it didn't work out, but they made it right.

Hugh Kim: A superb customer service experience. My one year-old Honda mower would stall upon start. As one of the nearest Honda warranty centers near me, I took it in for service. One of the mechanics - Kaleb - at Aurora Rents took the mower back to the shop, resolved the issue in minutes. Kaleb was friendly, cordial, and a true professional through and through. And he taught me some crucial things to keep the mower running. I left the shop one happy customer. I'm glad to have a shop like near me. A plus!
Brady Ryan: Editing this and updating from 1-star to 4-stars. I picked up a trencher that wouldn't dig, and went back and forth with Aurora Rents to get two more trenchers over the next few days. Eventually I got one that worked, and the team at Aurora worked with me to make sure I was taken care of. I appreciate it and will work with them again, but be aware of the possibility of broken equipment when you rent here. They'll take care of you in the end, but you might end up with a few days of burnt time on your project.
