UW Medicine Sports Medicine Clinic at Northwest Outpatient Medical Center: what do users think?

Nick O: Dr. Chin & staff are awesome. They all did a great job articulating the process of my treatment & were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Van Pham: Dr. Kenneth Chin was very articulate and communicated to us through all the questions that we had throughout the whole process. Reaching him was also easy post-surgery and he got all our questions answers. This was my friend’s first ankle surgery and we were really worried so we did had a TON of questions. Will reccommend the clinic to anyone with sports injury!

Ali Fares: I saw Dr. Kim today for some issues I have been having with my foot. He's extremely kind, informative, and just overall a genuine person. He made sure that I understood what he was explaining at all times, it was very educational. I was able to get an x-ray in the middle of the appointment which was convenient. The x-ray technician was also very kind and was jumping to make sure I didn't fall getting my socks on, I could tell she takes patient falls and safety seriously. As someone who also works in healthcare, I can appreciate that. Really great experience overall. Thank you!Warning: I tried to call this clinic to set up an appointment and the call was intercepted by spam callers. According to others I've spoke to on the incident this is a new method spammers have been using now days so please be cautious of any red flags when calling this or any clinic.

Tyler Good: Jess is so underrated .

Michelle: , and I always felt like I was in good hands. Recovery was a bumpy road physically, but Dr Johnson and her MA Tara were *always* caring.Sometimes there are mix ups on the office end of things but they are always resolved and aren't too big of a deal. I genuinely feel that Dr Johnson has a remarkable amount of expertise in this field, and if you have some serious foot or ankle issues, or are thinking of surgery, I absolutely recommend her. I am very shocked at the negative reviews of this clinic,

Sports Medicine Northwest: what do users think?

Cindy Abrahamson: I’ve never in my life experienced anything more exhilarating and freeing than I did with Dr. Pond and the Ring Dinger! I’ve been in the Army for 14 years and I’ve just been in so much pain from my neck, shoulder blades, and lower back. Years of rucking, running around with heavy equipment and, lifting wrong has taken a toll on my body. I couldn’t sleep due to the extreme pinching in my neck. My PCM keeps telling me to see physical therapy and stretch and nothing seemed to take the pain away.I did a little deep dive and found Dr. Pond and his technique of decompression using the Ring Dinger. I’ve seen nothing but amazing results from people who have had this done so I decided to jump on in and give it a try!My first appointment was absolutely euphoric. I would describe it as a “life changing” experience. The extreme lower back pain was completely gone and the whole upper back/neck pain went from an 8 to a 2. It literally took my breath away because I haven’t felt pain free for over 10 years. I slept like a baby for the first time in over 5 years and woke up rejuvenated. My second appointment was scheduled 2 weeks out and was just as amazing as the first adjustment! I knew what to expect and it decompressed the remaining dull/achy pain in my neck.I went back for my last adjustment the following week and let me tell you…. I felt like a million bucks when I walked out of that office! I feel like I’ve lost 10 years of pain and can live my life again.I just want to say if you’re in constant aching, excruciating, or even pinching pains.. go see Dr. Pond. Go get the Ring Dinger done! You won’t regret it. You don’t have to live a life with constant pain. It’s not normal so don’t make it the norm!I’ll be making quarterly visits to just keep my old bones aligned! You can’t put a price on your physical and mental health. This has been absolutely life changing. I’ve been telling my military friends who struggling with extreme back pains and they are all excited to give it a go!

Streaky Bacon: My father who has been to over 30 chiropractors in his life said that Dr J is the best he’s ever been too and has started making the 3.5 hour drive from across the state to see her. She also always compliments me on my sweet drip so she gets bonus points on top of helping me through my recovery process on my back. Anyone who hasn’t had the “Ring Dinger” needs to look into it because it is life changing!

Vincent P: literally 24/7 no matter what position I was in. I was even tested for ankylosing spondylitis because nothing else had helped! This inescapable discomfort had been grinding me down for over a decade and was slowly eroding my will to live. I even considered getting street drugs to help with the pain.I can honestly say without hesitation that the Ring Dinger has saved my life. After the very first treatment

Amanda Bourgault: We’ve been seeing Skyler for over a year and trust him completely with our aches/pains. Fantastic staff as well.

Mikayla Whitley: The team offers first class support and genuinely cares about their patients. When I had emergent and terrible back pain they made it a priority to get me the care I needed asap. The practitioners are also always staying in tune with new technologies and practices in medicine.

Leid Webb.: Well, they did a very good job for me.

Andrew: Amazing experience at Sports Med NW. Dr. J is an absolute joy! Dr. J spends a lot of time understanding their patients needs and doesn't hesitate to give you best practices to continue down your recovery journey. Highly recommend!

Michelle Read: I have been working with Dr. Pond for about 6 weeks now. During the course of my treatment, when the ice storm hit Seattle, I fell on the ice but wasn’t too concerned about it. I was seeing Dr. Pond for chronic back issues, but mentioned that the fall started a clicking in my knee. He got me in immediately for an ultrasound with his nurse practitioner and we discovered I have a torn meniscus. If I hadn’t been seeing him for my other issue, I would have never caught the tear this early since I wasn’t experiencing pain. We started physical therapy immediately and my knee is improving. I am so grateful he had the knowledge, care, and resources to catch this injury, and I certainly would have caused more damage to my knee if it wasn’t for him. He also connected me with a specialist for sinus issues, and is well researched and well connected. He will go above and beyond to get you the care you need. Additionally, his office has air purifiers everywhere and is incredibly clean and a very large open space. As someone with a compromised immune system, I have never had to be within 6 feet of another person while there and feel very safe going there. They also take everyone’s temperature upon arrive which gives me extra peace of mind. You won’t regret going here!

Jeanine M: Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Were able to resolve a long-term problem I've had with my knee since a hip replacement surgery 3 years ago and from the first visit I was 90% improved. Would highly recommend!

Mountain Kat: . He is located in the admiral district of West Seattle, a short walk from the Safeway on California.

Joey Hazard: I’ve always had the best services with the staff here, from the front desk, to massages and injury treatment—Dr. Skylar Pond is the best in the business. My most recent visit felt more like a magic trick than anything else. 8 weeks after a motorcycle crash, I was still suffering from ankle pain and limited mobility. I was certain I had a broken bone that wouldn’t heal. I went to urgent care, got images, and was told to “give it time.” I did, and it wasn’t getting any better. So I decided to see Dr. Pond, who felt around in there, and was able to diagnose a minor bone displacement, and adjusted it back in place in 30 seconds. After 8 weeks of pain, I was fixed after a 5 minute process. I’m still in disbelief. If you’ve got anything going on, go check him out. You might be surprised with what’s possible.

L Bernard Cancino: Great guys, magic manipulation of misaligned bones, tranquil space, plenty of parking

Stella Carrillo: I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. Dr. Pond is seriously amazing and knows what he is talking about. I had been working with him for two months on a lower back injury that I was worried that couldn’t be fixed. He took the time to really listen to my concerns and helped talk through any of my questions. He has so much knowledge when it comes to fitness and ways to protect me from injuries in the future. The staff is amazing as well! Again, I can’t say enough great things about this place! I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a chiropractor!

Amber Wagner: Skyler is truly gifted. He takes his practice seriously and has an exceptional talent. He's extremely friendly and genuine. His office offers a wide variety of services. Originally I found his office because I was seeking graston, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. His rehabilitative approach and knowledge will keep you loyal to his office. And if for some reason you injure yourself, he will absolutely find time to see you. I cannot say enough about his talent. Thanks for getting me moving again!

Jess: I can't say enough great things about the staff at Sports Medicine Northwest, they squeezed me in as a brand new patient with a sudden injury the very next day during COVID of all times. Skylar provided great adjustments and better yet, gave me multiple exercises and stretches I could do at home to help my recovery process. I was also fortunate enough to see their amazing Massage Therapist, Shannon and have my first acupuncture session ever with Alicia. The entire staff is incredibly helpful and caring!

Adam “Smash” Smith: Amazing group of people changing lives! Thank you Dr. Pond and team!!!

Jana Claxton: Skylar and Alicia are fantastic - they know what they are doing, have a great/very clean space and run things efficiently. I went in for a last-minute chiropractic appointment due to some lower back issues and Alicia made it work so that I was booked in the next day. I had two appointments that were just what I needed to get back in biz. Glad to have them in WS!

UW Medicine Advanced Manual Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation at Ballard: what do users think?

Sarah Renee: I’m sure I will go on to function better than before surgery. I wish Del Re and all the staff here a better future that similarly reflects the one they gave me. Thank you for everything, keep up the meaningful work!

Susan Lowman Robinson: Excellent from check in to Therapy even the reception, desk and telephone

Ali N: Amazing help! Thanks!

Phil Reybitz: Dustin and company are the best!

Bailey Bauhs: I only come here to see the physical therapist Hilary Pentz. She is incredibly talented and I will continue to follow her all over the City. I recommend all of my friends to see her and she has a huge following because what she does works wonders!

Augusto Romano: I had an injury on March 13, 2019. I was in crosswalk in lower Queen Anne and a car hit me. Broken humorous was assessed, upper left arm. Specialist recommended physical therapy for healing and improved movement. Then, I found ‘‘tis place by the Ballard bridge, very convenient in public transit.I’ve never done PT, didn’t know what expect, but DPT Dustin Blevins, along with the assistance of Makenzi, PTA, listened to my concerns and established a course of therapy to improve my left shoulder/upper arm.I must say, without exaggeration, I feel improved each session I do with them. I’m never really pushed much beyond my limits, which could create some problems. In essence, The Team of Dustin and Mckenzi is indeed the best!Just make sure you ask for dr Blevins as they have another Dustin.

Paul Abel: If you are seeking PT, I highly recommend Advanced Manual Therapy. I had a very painful pinched nerve in my neck, after meeting Dr. Adam Shildmyer, he accurately pin-pointed the area of pain and after several weeks of PT and helpful advice, Adam and his assistant Amanda worked with me to successfully alleviate the pain. If you are looking for PT with new and clean equipment, a very professional staff, who take a sincere interest in your progress asking logical questions, providing guidance, there's no doubt AMT is for you.

Niki Bunich: The staff here is amazing. I've worked with Adam and Dustin. Both are very knowledgeable and caring with how they treat you. I recommend if you need physical therapy, you should come here.

H: Great personnel to work with. I have worked with Vicky and Kyle and they are amazing professionals. I would recommend them to anyone.

tanner jones: As a rock climber, I had been dealing with elbow tendon issues off and on for years and when it became particularly bad I scoured the Internet for solutions. Eventually my disability won over my stubbornness and I decided to go see the PT wizards at this clinic. Brian is a master and he rather swiftly diagnosed my problem and helped me create the stability and strength I was sorely lacking in my neck, posture, and back. Happy to say after just a few weeks of coaching from him I am back to climbing and for once in my life, standing up straight to boot. Thank you for all your help! Go see these people.

Virginia Mason Orthopedics and Sports Medicine: what do users think?

Brittany Wade: The staff is amazing in the surgery area. I got them to laugh instead of the other way around. The Doctor was amazing too. Thank you ever guy one for the new knee!.

Elizabeth Baty: who assisted me through my recent total knee replacement journey. Pre-op they helped me feel completely prepared, and following surgery they helped me manage my expectations regarding the healing process. The Team were readily available to answer questions or concerns I might have, they checked in

Russ Brubaker: Whole orthopedics team was amazing. These days spending the night in hospital is less than ideal.

Sondra Padgett: so much so that it became in the way of the other leg when I walked. That leg also had a damaged nerve which had already given me partial Drop Foot on that same leg. It was, apparently, a somewhat tricky surgery to do a Total Knee Replacement. I had Dr. Jonathan Clabeaux with VMFH do the surgery. Everything went so perfectly; the entire Ortho Care Team were wonderful, checking on me almost daily for months after. My Drop Foot was actually a bit better; most importantly, had not damaged the nerve worse.Five months later Dr. Clabeaux also did a Total Hip Replacement on the other side, which had become so painful from having to hold all my weight during the years my knee was bad. I’ve received another great outcome and the same caring and responsive team support during the weeks following this surger.. I am 78 and it seems unbelievable that I’ve been given a new life, I am thankful to Dr. Clabeaux and the entire Virginia Mason Care Team. I’ve also used VMFH for all my Follow Up Physical Therapy I’ve needed. I love to recommend this Orthopedic Surgeon and Virginia Mason FH for Knee and Hip Replacements.

Amy Rush: Dr. Clabauex and his team have been amazing to work with. I've had two knee replacement surgeries done with them and would go back if I had a third. I'm still healing from my second knee but I have no complaints from my first. It healed nicely and works great. The doctor and his team are friendly, caring and on top of my recovery. They check in with me all the time through the Get Well Loop and always respond quickly to my concerns and questions. This was a wonderful addition that added a personal touch. I highly recommend Dr. Clabeaux and his team.

Steve Kaster: Well cared for - very detailed attention to staff procedures .

Nancy Upton: The BEST.

Arlista Holman: I was nervous about replacing my knee but being bone on bone I had become a fall risk. I could be walking just fine and then without warning my knee would give out on me. The uncertainty impacted my active lifestyle. After several conversations and visits to Dr. Kieras in Orthopedics I decided replacement was my best option. It’s only been two weeks after surgery and I’m doing so well. The daily check-in, reminders, activity level exercises and pain management suggestions provided by my doctor through the Getwell app have been key to my recovery. I know that if I follow my PT program, I will be golfing this summer and maybe enjoy a little pickle ball later this fall. I’m thrilled with decision to have the replacement and with my recovery thus far.

Jennifer Bartell: I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Clabeaux and the whole team. I appreciate how well he heard my concerns and questions. I appreciate all the follow up that occurred before and after surgery. I would recommend him without hesitancy.

Florence Crowther: I have found the level of care, communication and accessibility to be extraordinary. I was well prepared by Dr. Nichols and the care team prior to surgery. I chose day surgery and was very grateful and impressed by the extent to which the team remained in contact, monitoring my status and responding very quickly to concerns.

Blair Alexander: My hip replacement was just over two weeks ago. Dr. MacDonald and team did a great job of communicating what to expect. Recovery is slow and steady. I spent one night in the hospital for observation and then was discharged home. I receive daily reminders to check in online to report my status. I would easily recommend the experience to others who need it.

Beth Ann Pillen: Can not say enough about the high quality of care given at Virginia Mason. Appointments are on time with staff that explain procedures and options clearly. The staff listen well to what you say, very people oriented. It feels as though you and the medical staff are working together for your best results.

Dennis Copley: Incredible care , experience, down to earth. Before ,during, after. My wife and I were really amazed by the staff , the facility, and the care. Unbelievable medical care for this day and age in the heart of Seattle, who knew ?

Susan Peters: My Husband recently had his Total Knee replacement and every aspect of his care was carefully planned out and explained fully. Dr. Clabeaux spent time before and after explaiining the whole procedure. We felt lucky to have such good care.

Meg Angell: The team at Virginia Mason Sports Med, starting with Dr. Gupta and then surgery with Dr. Clabeaux , was great including all the PAs, RNs and administrators. Very communicative! They understood my desire to get it done within a pretty specific time frame to try to be back and ready for spring rowing. The care both pre and post op was awesome.-Meg A.

Elizabeth Erwin: Dr.MacDonald and his surgery team are top notch. He is highly skilled and experienced. Post op care is excellent and responsive.

Donna Stolz: Great experience with Dr. Kevin MacDonald, his surgery team, and care team. Surgery experience was better than I had hoped for, from pre-op to post-op. I appreciate the regular check-ins via phone and the GetWell Loop. Communication is clear with very quick responses to questions or concerns. My neighbor had both knees replaced by Dr. MacDonald and sung his praises to me. I fully agree.

UW Medicine Sports Medicine Center at Husky Stadium: what do users think?

candi mcculloch: I am writing this review specifically as it relates to one of the physicians: Dr Lauren Paladino, DO. I have chronic health issues and if I cannot exercise, my pain worsens. Sometimes, I have acute issues come up that make it hard for me to exercise. Dr Paladino has so far helped alleviate two separate issues that have been plaguing me for years. I saw several specialists and had multiple injections for these problems, but the pain persisted. Dr Paladino heard my complaints, made her own diagnosis, and treated me accordingly. So far, she has helped resolve two of these "chronic" issues and is now working on a few others. With her help, I am confident I can keep doing what I need to minimize my pain and keep going. I am so grateful for her help! I would like to add, her support staff is always patient and respectful and I am very grateful for them as well!

Jeffrey Dunaway: Pretty fast and easy to get in and out!

sean stephens: I was first here 10 years ago for a torn labrum in the left shoulder . Dr Gee was the man everything he said came true and the labrum is good today as it was when he fixed it . In addtion i was back in 2 years later after tearing my bicep once again Dr Gee fixed it and i have never had to look back . In 2016 after a horrible Motorcycle accident who did i go see about my Knee you got it Dr Gee once again cleaned everything up and it is still solid . I could not be happier . I have now gone and done it again this time tears in the Rotator we will see what magic he can work this time around . Skill set i would say this facility is top notch

Donna Manders: who gathered my vital signs and other information was thorough, skillful, efficient, courteous and caring. The physician I saw, Brian Liem MD, was fully engaged in addressing the reason for my visit from the moment he walked in the room. His expertise was immediately evident and his ability to communicate his findings was exceptional. He double-checked to make certain my questions were addressed and that I felt comfortable with the plan of care. This was an A+ experience of medical care.

LuisEduardo TorresCamacho: Great games...

Drew M: Great for athletes. They know how to work through and around injuries as well as the latest treatments. If you are a triathlete, runner, swimmer etc I highly recommend UW sportsmed. Being a competitive older athlete I’ve appreciated their ability to help me stay in shape working around over-use injuries and bike accident injuries. They offer a heart screening program aimed at athletes providing peace of mind to race hard. It’s just difficult to get in as they are in high demand.

Cat V: I had a great experience here. There's a parking lot underneath that cost me $6 for a little over an hour. Folks at check in spoke clearly and were friendly. I arrived 5-10mins early and I was seen right at my appointment time. My medical assistant, Elle, was really nice and thorough with check in/check out. Dr. Krabak was kind and respectful and was thorough with his questions and the exam. He gave me lots of information about the next steps and what he thought was going on. Overall, everything went smoothly and it was exactly what I'd expect. I did spend probably 15-20mins waiting in the exam room but otherwise, the experience was ideal.

jason ashley: I cannot remember the lady's name but she did a bone scopcopy a be on me on my left side she took a little bit of pressure off of my bone to open up where my net miniscule is gone so I don't feel much there anymore I know it was 4 months of recovery and it is great I would recommend them to anybody dealing with knee issues
