Allen Miller: Quick and easy pickup. My order was small enough that I could easily carry it, just a few pounds of aluminum bar, so I took the 132 bus from downtown Seattle. 20 minute bus ride, got off, walked across the street, rang the bell, waited less than a minute, got my order, walked to the bus stop, waited about 3 minutes, and was back downtown in well under an hour.

John Wrigley: Recently, Online Metals sent us an order which was not our order, but that of another customer. before the order had arrived at our business they had already realized their mistake and sent the correct order the next day, they did not require us to send the misplaced order back. I don't think we have ever received costumer service like this before when something has gone wrong. Usually it's up to us to notice, then make a case for what went wrong, and then hopefully have the company in question do the right thing. Not the typical company.
skrakwa01: I was having trouble ordering what I wanted online and having it shipped to my local store. Site kept trying to charge shipping as well, so I chatted with a person who was able to help me. I believe it was Sharrell. She was great and had to manually manipulate the order to remove the shipping, but it got taken care of. Great service!!

Meister Werks European & Import: Back in 2011, we had Ballard Sheet Metal cut and bend all of the panels and doors for a powder coating oven we built. Every single panel I had them cut was exactly to my specifications. I did not have one issue. I also had BSM custom fab the door.. It was absolutely perfect as well. I ended up using this oven for 8+ years. After purchasing a commercial batch PC over, I ended up selling this. The quality was so good that I sold it for much more than it cost to build. They were very professional and had my parts cut and bent in a timely manner. I will be using them again in the future as a have another project coming up.

Carlo Dave: Though I miss grubby old funky Pacific Industrial back when they were on 4th Avenue, I'm glad they found a way to survive in the Seattle area.Much of the variety of old metal scrap and odd artifacts are gone, and the new location is tucked away in South Park, but they have clearly narrowed their focus to useful steel essentials, improved customer service, and their prices still beat hardware stores by a mile if you're looking for steel, castors, and assorted fabrication-related nicknacks.
