Only gripe might be that the used items are all a bit pricey, but I guess that’s the trade off for such a well curated selection. Staff was super friendly and helpful — nice to see a store like this not full of masculine male employees.Huge selection of bolos, belt buckles and boots. Spent a solid 30 minutes combing through all their shirts and still not sure I saw them all. Also a good selection of new gear, though I wish they had more country-related band tees. Will 100% return.

His place offers the hands-on customization that alot of these products need and YOU deserve. He’ll help stretch boots to fit YOU. He’ll take your old worn out floppy hats and make them stiff as NEW! That’s proof enough he’s in it for the service of the customer and not to sell something. He could easily just sell you a new hat and never offer to repair them at a fraction of The cost. I’ll be back as much as necessary

Mel: We had to stop by Hat n’ Boots on our trip to Seattle. The kids had found it online and after learning the history, we decided to add it to our itinerary. Hat and Boots is connected to Oxbow Park and there is ample free street parking so it’s a short walk to take photos. If you have small kids, there is a playground area and there are some picnic tables if you bring a lunch. Mercedes Toro: If you work construction do yourself a favor and visit Redwing Shoe Store in Tukwilla, next time you need boots. They have a machine that scans your feet and tells you what orthotics you need. I used this machine and the orthotics that I got changed my life. I also received an email with details about my feet. It turns out my right foot is an entire size bigger than my left. That explains why my right foot always hurts! Along with having a rad foot scanning machine, Redwing in Tukwilla has a good selection of boots. I’m a woman in construction and I need boots that do the job, don’t look ridiculous, and most importantly come in my size. Finally Redwing in Tukwilla has boots that fit women, that look normal, and that are available in store. My experience at this store was the perfect ending to National Women in Construction Week!

Elizabeth Hardy: I was in Seattle and had to visit the flagship store. I also had my favorite salad. The Cilantro Line Chicken Salad in the Cafe is wonderful. It had been a while since I had been in a Nordstrom so it was a nice shopping visit.

Jason Neiss: I bought my first UK about 15 years ago, and within weeks completely gave up wearing anything else. I currently have 9 in my closet, having given away a few older ones and recently added a new Survival and a classic Mocker off the scratch-n-dent rack. I'm kind of a fan.The store doesn't exist anymore, but the shop abides. We were visiting from Oregon to see a band at the Moore, and my wife called and set up an appointment as a surprise for me. From the outside, it kinda looks like the sort of place where Dennis Hopper gets...uh...interviewed...by Christopher Walken in True Romance. But inside, it's warm and welcoming and feels like you are meeting the friends you didn't know you had.If you're a casual, just browsing and looking for souvenirs as you visit Seattle, go to the website and leave them in peace. If you're a member of the clan, make an appointment, make the pilgrimage, and pay your respects. It's not just about the awesome kilts, but the truly nice people.Franklin the Disabled Dachshund says hi. And my wife says my butt looks amazing in the Survival. So, score.
Jorge Campos Cortés: I bought my first kilt with them in SD Comic-Con three years back, a beautiful Mocker model and I've enjoyed every minute of it. It's been delightful, the kilt has kept very well over the years and I've had no issues with tears, or wear of the different components to the kilt. Their kilts being adjustable has also been amazing, I've gone up and down a couple of pounds over the three years and it has still be able to fit perfectly.Customer support is top notch, both in person and online. I spoke to an employee over Instagram regarding their participation at an event and they provided super useful information, answered all my questions, and were super nice through it all.I 100% recommend Utilikilts. Super high quality, beautiful clothes, amazing customer support and just all around great experience.
