Sten Crissey: Who else would do this? Our dog got sick all over our gorgeous Pande Cameron carpet. In a panic I called Brad. "Hold tight", he said, "pour soda water over all the stains and I will be there within the hour!" ...and he was! He grabbed up the carpet, took it to his showroom, then called back 48 hours later letting me know he got the stains out. Once dried -- 2 days later -- our carpet was back on our floor as good as new. Amazing service! Amazing company!

Cynthia Berman: This past Memorial Day, I discovered moth damage to a very lovely wool rug in my living room. I had seen an ad for Pande Cameron in the PCC newsletter so I looked them up online. A call revealed that they were closed. I filled out the Contact Us form on the website. To my amazement and relief, I had an email from Brad within an hour! During a brief email exchange we established a time the following morning for him to pick up the carpet for cleaning.Brad picked up the living room rug and four undamaged Tibetan runners. They returned from the "rug spa" four days later, looking terrific. The colors were again rich and deep, the texture divine. We caught the moth infestation just in time, saved the rug, and prevented the infestation from spreading to other rugs. I'm very happy and relieved. Brad, you've made a customer for life!

Recently, red wine had unfortunately gotten onto a custom rug from Portugal which had been designed specifically for one room in our home. We thought it was a "goner" but the craft and abilities of Brad and Chuck resurrected this carpet to the extent that there is abolutely no trace of any stain. luke adamek: What a wonderful experience I’ve had purchasing from Turabi. Erben was incredibly knowledgeable on Persian rugs and what to look for in purchasing one. Originally I had a friend suggest this shop to me and since my grandmother was in need of a new rug she came with me to check out what they had in stock. Going into the shop is an experience of its own. Gorgeous stacks of rugs piled a yard high, Beautiful mosaical rugs lining the walls. We looked through about 3 dozen rugs until we found 2 that we were interested in. Finally my grandmother settled on one that complimented her house perfectly. Erben delivered the rug to grandmothers house and let her live with it a couple days to get the feel and she decided it was the right one. Just a few days later I suggested my parents check out the gallery too and they also purchased a rug. Thanks Erben for the experience and I’ll definitely come here again in the future 10/10

Almost 10 years later, I have more good news to share about the wonderful experience of purchasing rugs from Turabi.We were recently updating our home and headed in a little bit more of a transitional/modern style vs. traditional. Turabi has a HUGE selection of contemporary rugs, and they even have the ability to assist in custom design and order if their vast floor selection doesn't have the perfect rug. They still have many traditional and antique rugs as well, and they have a great eye for bringing in current and classic colors.Once again I spent hours in the beautiful store in Pioneer Square while they painstakingly pulled out rugs, explained the country of origin and materials and processes used. They were also honest with me about durability and helped me understand maintenance and upkeep, which was important to me with kids and dogs. I was also encouraged to step on/walk on/ stand on the rugs barefoot to feel which were softer because we are a no-shoe house.Once we got it narrowed down, they brought a few to the house to see it in our space. We narrowed down further with their great counsel and then I was able to live with a couple of rugs in my space for a few days to see how it changed with the light, how it felt etc.The rug we loved the most was going to be too large and cover our fireplace hearth. But Turabi's team had no problem taking exact measurements, cutting a notch around the hearth, and putting a new edge on the rug. You would never know. It is stunning and we get compliments every time someone walks into our front door.Their exceptional service and high quality will always make me a repeat customer. I look forward to working with them again.

Nancy Chin: I purchased two large area rugs from Driscoll. The two deliverymen were superb. They were so careful in making sure the rug was placed in the right locations. For example for one rug they carefully put the rug under a chandelier with proper spacing from the walls and a tansu chest and then placed the dining room table just right under the chandelier and aligned and centered with the tansu. They even asked if I wanted to vacuum the rug before they placed the furniture back on the rugs. The two men thought about everything and asked for my input on certain items and gave me options. They carefully made a number of adjustments for both rugs to that they looked perfect in a home where the floor spaces are not exactly square. Their thoughtfulness and dedication to doing a superb job are unmatched. Please thank them for me. We LOVE our new carpets. They have transformed the space making the atmosphere so inviting and warm. Darlene Foote: I took several hand-knotted carpets to Solak Rug Repair for professional cleaning - it was a mix of rugs that were purchased in Nepal, Pakistan, & Afghanistan, and all had been stored. They smelled musty. Solak Rug Repair returned the carpets in good shape, within a pretty short turn around. One had some moth damage on the end, and I didn't have much hope that I would be able to show it at home. Mehmet offered to fix it by removing the damaged end, then weaving it closed. The work was well done - it is smaller, but now I can lay it out for everyone to see. I am happy with all of the work. The icing on the cake - I thoroughly enjoyed talking with and learning from Mehmet about different kinds of carpets. Mehmet works from a solid technical and cultural understanding of how to clean and care for carpets. I can highly recommend Solak Rug Repair.

Monica Davies: My husband and I were looking for a trusting place to have our beautiful Karastan and Hamadan Persian antique rugs cleaned and found this absolutely amazing business Solak Rug Repair. We drove almost two hours from our house to have them taken care of by this business. This man has decades of experience handling the most intricate of materials and it showed one hundred percent. When we brought our rugs in they had been in a storage for a few years and had accumulated dirt, dust, horrible smells and looked almost unfix able, however when we picked them up today they looked as though we had just bought them!! The time he took to professionally clean our rugs top to bottom, inside and out told us that this is a passion of his for sure. Our rugs were cleaned so beautifully as if they were his own. Rows were missing, fringe gone in some places, some sunrot along the side and I didn’t even recognize how dirty it had become.The colors are now brighter from a safe vinegar and water cleaning and I’m so happy to have it back in my home. My only regret is I didn’t do it sooner. Don’t let your valuable rug fall apart any longer. Get it to Mehmet as soon as you can. Speedy and fairly priced. You will be thrilled.

My carpet looks beautiful and is no longer coming apart. Mr. Solak very graciously dropped the carpet off at my home after it was repaired. I couldn't be happier.I stopped in to his rug repair studio and it was amazing... filled with naturally dyed yarns and divided by country of origin. I had inherited these rugs from my mother and didn’t really know what I had or what to do with them. I had half a mind to sell them. Abraham spent a couple of hours with me explaining each rug - age, origin, style. In the end he convinced me to keep them explaining their value and uniqueness. eric evans: Purchased 650 sf of carpet from here at a good value. Carpet was much nicer installed than what we anticipated. Install was scheduled two weeks out to allow us to prepare for the work. Crew had a very tough time installing tack strips into very hard concrete. We also had 22 concrete stairs that were tough going. The crew stayed on it and worked very hard and they did a great job. We are very happy with the finish work and it looks beautiful.

Alexei Islas: Me and my wife visited this location in Seattle and we were left very satisfied. From the entrance you are met with so many different things to look at and buy. It is a very unique store, and has a wide variety of different things to choose from, and not only talking about what, but where as they have many thing from out of the country to choose from. The store is pretty clean as well as the bathrooms, the employees were nice and helpful. I do recommend coming here and taking a look at the many things that they have at this store.

Barry O'Connell: Emmanuel's is one of the very best shops for rug cleaning in the country. Not only do they do a great job and all the normal cleaning stuff but they do all the jobs that most people no longer do like blocking a rug which is the correct wrinkles or shape and color correction if there's a problem with a bleeding color. I would consider them one of the top five in the country and the best in the Pacific Northwest.
Alex Petrescu: Have been here multiple times to get rugs cleaned and it's always a great experience. Their ability to also fix small tears is great since you can get your rug cleaned and fixed at the same time.
Jon Solomon: Good work, it isn't cheap but it is reasonable. The rug was uniformly clean. They delivered the rug ahead of schedule, but I feel the date was padded a bit.
