Seattle Coin Shop: what do users think?

Samarth Rishaan: really good selection with good advice and nice people. There is also good prices

JCapp: I highly recommend the Seattle coin shop. The owner and employees are friendly and super helpful. They were honest and straight forward with pricing, which was helpful for someone just getting into gold/silver. I’ll definitely be visiting them again.

chance laboda: I went to Seattle coin shop to sell an old silver candle set. Jesse and his team were super helpful and very knowledgeable. It was a great experience. I will be back!

Debbie Lawson: This is a terrific small local business. The new owner and his brother are very nice and very easy to work with and are carrying on the legacy of the prior owner.

Crystal Bach: You should definitely stop in and check out the collection! I brought my kids in to look at coins, Jessie the shop owner was so welcoming and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable and eager for us to learn. He also was super kind in showing us all the different coins. 5-stars.

Dean Olson: Since 2004, I've gone to this is the coin shop. Last week, on the last Saturday of February 2024, I returned and asked to get another small, silver buffalo nickel coin. They had some in stock and I got one. John has been a great owner and is mentoring Jesse, the new fellow. In addition to buying silver coins for my safe deposit box, the shop helped with appraising a couple coins. Thank you.

John Erickson: Jesse, the new owner, was friendly and efficient. Gave me a good deal on silver bullion sell back and price for gold as well. It is always a pleasure to do business at Seattle Coin Shop.

Matt Lesher: Sold a good chunk of silver and gold here. The brothers and original owner were all in and were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Glad I made the long drive to visit this shop vs settling for someplace closer. 5 stars easily deserved!

Marty Mathern: Nice people, decent prices, and rare specimens that you don't see everyday. They also have some silver and gold items that aren't coins, if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Cathy NunyaBizzness: These guys are top notch. Always have the best prices. A+++

Michael Tambaoan: Best shop in business. Jesse is very accommodating and always has the best price. Purchased multiple times and will continue to do business.

Nicholas Hall: My new go to coin shop! New owner, Jesse, is friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for something, he can help find it, as he’s well connected in the coin community. Look for great things, especially new and unique items, beyond just the old and usual. Fair pricing, in both selling and buying.

Nikolaus Herstein: The new owners Jesse & Nick are both great guys! Very welcoming & both very knowledgeable about coins & bullion. I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with them multiple times both buying and selling. Great deals on both! Will be a life long customer.

Marc DeMello: In my short time in Seattle this summer Seattle Coin Shop was one of the best shops in the area. Great selection of bullion, vintage stuff and coins!

joe sullivan: Great variety, quality, pricing and good people to deal with. They are very fair and trustworthy.

Sherie ward: Great prices, great selection and excellent customer service. Highly recommended by me.

Will G: The team over at Seattle Coin Shop gives fair prices for both buying and selling.. highly recommend!

Karo Mavyan: Seattle coin shop is the best. Jesse and Nick are always super friendly and and solid people to deal with. I’ve already done a lot of business with them both buying and selling. They have great prices on bullion and coins and pay strong when you need to sell. Thanks guys will definitely keep coming back!

L G: Seattle Coin Shop has new owners and they are great! Best deals around and quick shipping as well. Have bought a few items from them and will be buying more as well!

Renton Coin Shop: what do users think?

Nguyen Le: A convenient location to go visit downtown Renton. Intriguing place for rare items.

Jamy Walker: Amazing!! If you need some help with coins or silver or jewelry this is the place to go. I had some coins and silver and the helped me with everything. Great customer service. Everyone was so kind and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!!

Shanon Harp: Don't bother driving all the way to Bellevue. The lovely folks here went out of their way to look carefully at the details in my silver so that I could get the best deal possible. They were great!

april Wilkerson: I went there a ling time ago they taught me alot within that dat, but why aren't they op3n on the weekends definitely would make more money if they were open on the weekends.

Taylon benin: I highly recommend this establishment, Steve the owner is the most honest trust worthy guy you could possibly deal with. I have been doing biz with them for 7 plus years and I always leave with a smile on my face, knowing I either got the most for my items selling or got the best deal buying.

Scott Best: Steve Campau is the store owner's name. I would recommend coming here any day, all day long!! Haven't been able to get there for 3 plus years now, but it's because I had a job change. I live in Eugene Oregon. Before that time, I had a job where I made a lot of driving trips up there and I tried to get there as much as possible, mostly for my love of coins and currency. I was an active collector and any time I went to his store, whether to buy or sell, Steve was always an honest broker with me. I will always appreciate that.

E Er: Just visited for the first time and had great experience.Upon entering I noticed a giant dinosaur skull above the counter. Wow! I didn't know they had fossils & minerals. I thought it was just another coin store buying gold. I was really surprised to see that they've got an insane amount of Pokemon & I am definitely gonna build my collection thru them. The ancient coins were very cool too.

david reeves: Was treated very well will only go here for now on friendly knowledgeable and pleasant to work with

LJR Coins: what do users think?

jacob hy: Knowledge. Easy to listen to fair understanding of market and lively hood.

Leo D: Great variety for a good price!

Chris Brenan: Stopped in for the first time a couple days ago. Very pleasant experience. Helpful, friendly.

Omniversal Abundance Vortex: Laurie is so sweet. Great deals. Fun and exciting place with cool finds! Grateful

Riquelvi Morales: I love this place! Most my silver and coin collection is from this place! Talking to Paul while u shop is awesome! He knows what he’s talking about! Can’t wait to go back again!

Jacob Reid: I’m brand new to the world of numismatics and Paul could not have been more helpful. Bought a few coins, and some other stuff, he threw in a 3 ring binder and some magazines to help me get started. Another great Burien small business!

James Crider (Jimi): Excellent job. They know COINS very good.

Lkaterie Neal: The employees were so helpful and polite!

David Beaudoin: Very nice coin shop. They let you look through their inventory. They offer wide variety of coins.

Shelia E: Very friendly, professional. Go here instead of scummy pawn shops and such.

Anthony Campione: Great shop, great guys.

RH Negative: This place is the most legitimate coin shop around. They are always fair, reasonable and friendly.

Sam Penney: My grandfather was an avid coin collector who passed away before I was born. I wanted to sell his collection to someone who would respect what he had gathered and also pay a fair price for it. Going through his collection with Paul made me feel like I was going through it with my grandfather. He was honest, friendly, informative, kind, and paid about 20% more than another dealer had offered. A couple teens came into his shop while I was there with some coins that didn’t seem to be particularly valuable, but Paul and his wife treated them with the exact same respect they gave me and a $5000+ collection. They are an absolute class act, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Michael P. Schincke: Paul's a great guy and runs an excellent business.

James Bond: It was my first time at Paul’s new location. Very impressive! Many items to look at. Here’s someone that knows his stuff!

Mike 🎖️

MeanJoe4202: This was my second, and last, visit to Redmond Rare Coins. I’m new to numismatics, but I’m learning quickly and enjoy looking through rolls of coins hoping to find a diamond in the rough. I brought in all the coins I’ve come across that I felt would not waste their time. I did the research on all the coins I brought in, and there were some that could possibly sell for quite a bit. They spent all of 15 minutes to dismiss over 100 hours of poring over rolls and coins, looking them up, putting them under a microscope….etc.They were polite enough, the same way one would be polite to a child who found a frog in the grass and shows it off to you. There were a few Kennedy fifty cent pieces from the 60’s, which aren’t exactly the find of the century, but worth more than face value at the very least. The guy said it wasn’t worth anything, and I pointed out it’s silver, he said it’s not, I said well, it’s 40% silver and at least worth the melt value, and he said it wasn’t even worth the 40% silver in the coin.I also brought six rolls of 1962 nickels with the letters ‘PBU’ and ‘DBU’ on the rolls. That stands for Philadelphia and Denver Brilliant Uncirculated. 240 sixty year old nickels that have never been handled, and they did a quick internet search and told me they’re worth $3.40 per roll. In my search, if one of the 240 nickels have full steps, of which I found quite a few, they sell for around $300.If you want to buy something, I’m sure that this is a great place to go. But they showed absolutely NO interest in buying anything or helping me navigate the numismatic waters. The extent of their help was “Send it in to get it graded by PCGS or try selling it at an auction”. I was hoping they would be welcoming and want to help someone new to this relatively obscure hobby. But I was treated with thinly hidden disdain; like I was trespassing on their turf and they did their best to discourage any enthusiasm I had for finding an error coin in pocket change and selling it for a profit. I enjoy it because I see it as gambling, but the worst case scenario is I get my money back; best case I recognize a coin that made it out of the mint on accident and sell it for sorely needed extra money.I wouldn’t recommend selling there, but they do have a large collection of cool coins, trading cards, comic books, gold and silver….etc.9/23 - I'll come by sometime, and I appreciate you wanting to do things better than my experience. I'll make it 5 stars just because you want to improve. Thank you

Jake T: If you want to buy silver/gold/coins this is the place!! Friendly and great service.

Vesmin Musabegovic: Great service and perfect store to shop.

Abi McPherson: Wonderful customer service!

Gold and Silver Traders: what do users think?

Joshua Bryant: 10% off spot price for 24k sounds good to me. I'll never sell gold anywhere else. Extremely satisfied! 😌 went back in to sell some 18k and was only about 15% off spot price. By far the best place to sell your gold for some cash.

Omar Borski: I've stopped by 3 times in the last 2 years and have been given a fair amount of cash for my smaller gold pieces. They will also let you know what carat and if your gold is real or not!

Tonya Freitag: I have nothing but nice things to say about then they are very pleasant to deal with the always tell me what was good and what's not sometimes I worry about it but nothing but that's all right because they're very pleasant and outgoing and always asking how are you doing that always makes me feel good to know that say it recognize who I am and I was wondering how I'm doing and that's great you guys that I wouldn't take him to anybody else I think them for everything you do for me I could have no place to take my stuff but they are great people to work with you on what it costs and their prices so I recommend to put together and go there yeah yeah I'm missing if they ever left okay I hope they don't thank you they'll be missed and thought about often

Edward Alarcon Hernandez: Excellent service and attention

anthony mathieu: Brought my gold here and was super informative about what I had. Was super upfront about prices and even helped me out with some rings I had with my familyI would totally recommend anyone that is needing any assistance with gold selling/appraisal as they went above and beyond to help me go over the jewelry I had

J Mal: Brought two silver candle stick holders. I was in and out, she helped me, weighed them in front of me and was very nice. Would definitely come back

Kasey Moore: Not only was the lady I worked very nice , she went above and beyond in helping me. I would recommend going to this place if your looking to get the best deals.

Houston Collins: Efficient transaction. Good conversations all around.

Heath marks: I was left a few gold coins by a family member who passed, and was nervous as to where to take them. G&S was not only polite and professional, but also more than willing to explain every step of the process. Weighing, how to spot counterfeits, ascertaining quality, assigning value: very informative! I highly recommend them!

margret kaprielian: I’ve been doing business here for more than 10 years; they’re the only place I bring gold and silver as they will literally meet or BEAT anyone else! They are a local, family owned business; VERY honest and fair, as well as friendly and kind. It’s ALWAYS been a pleasure to deal with them.

Kathy Marshall: Go here. Even though the storefront is a bit odd, she was very helpful, knowledgeable and fair. Read the other reviews - if you want a great price, skill and to support a local business, go here! 5 Stars ☀️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Christopher T Mcmillen: Honestly the best place I've ever gone when it comes to selling gold looks like the ghetto but these people aren't ghetto they are the most nicest people in the world they're very friendly very good at doing what they do and they do not lowball you they give you an honest price treat you like a human more like family if you go in as often as I do and the fact that they love my dog and let him come in is amazing most people won't even let your dog in the building but they always let my dog in so they're very nice people awesome just go sell your gold with them

Megan Greene (Erin morris): Very nice people

Zoey Hilgedick: efficient service and reasonable prices

Molly Nelson: The couple that runs this business are absolutely wonderful, honest, and incredibly friendly people. They will never low ball you or be dishonest with you. Every time I do business with them I am happy I did. There is no where else I would take my gold or silver. Can't recommended them enough!!

Douglas Sarale: So kind, honest and fair. This will be my place for exchange in the future.

The Metal Shop Gold & Silver: what do users think?

Andrew Carrell: Great customer service. Best place to sell silver.

A P: Went in for the first time and they were very welcoming! They had a great selection and were very knowledgeable. Overall a great shop and will come back again!

Hyun Ro: Honest guys. Gives great and precise explanations.Explained how silver needs to be in triple digits given the amount of money that has been printed. Seems like these guys know what they are doing.Best gold and silver shop in puget sound.Would visit again

Sandy Belarde: My experience at the Metal Shop Gold and Silver store was great… I met Geoff and Brandon who were both were friendly, trustworthy and very knowledgeable in what they do. I will absolutely be a returning customer.

Brent Robbins: 2. Metal music is playing in the store3. Geoff can beat most online prices4. When he can't beat online prices, he admits it

Adnan Ahmad: Geoff is amazing. They treat people well here!

Theresa Reyna: Geoff was awesome to work with. He made me feel comfortable the minute I stepped into the door. Both our sons have very different interests, however, I was able to find both of their upcoming birthdays presents at the Metal Shop. I’m super excited to have Geoff as our Silver and Gold resource guy, from now on, especially when it comes to finding collectables pieces.

grant sutherland: Geoff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I visited his shop after reading many other positive reviews which were spot on. Definitely will be coming back.

Bayley Maxcy: I stopped in here yesterday to get an ounce of silver as a birthday gift for my mom. I was blown away by the customer service of the two gentlemen running the shop, Geoff and Brandon. Not only were they willing to answer any and all questions but everything felt extremely transparent. I can tell they care about customer relationship, something that is VERY lacking when I have bought from other coin shops. On top of all that, they even gave me a deal on the coin I bought! I was in shock. I even found myself in their store 5 minutes after close because I was lost in conversion. Extremely nice men, great prices, and amazing selection. I won't be going else where for my metals. The Metal Shop is THE PLACE for silver and gold if you live in the area.

Leesa Albert: Geoff, Brandon and their adorable dog were AMAZEBALLS! I highly recommend for great service, a lot of laughs and fair prices!

Nicolette Lattanzio: Geoff and his shop are both fabulous! He has been super helpful and informative. We will be back for sure!

J M: This is the best place to buy Gold and Silver. A fair group that will look out for you. They even have a laser analyzer to ensure you of purity levels.

Andrea Cleveland: Working with them was easy and seamless. Geoff explained the process and was transparent with values and prices. Both Geoff and Brandon were friendly and approachable. If I ever have the need again, I won't hesitate to work with them!

Christy Berry: Geoff was amazingly insightful AND helpful when I brought in a vintage gold charm bracelet! He educated me in how gold prices are calculated and weighed and measured my bracelet. He even encouraged me to sell it private party for a bigger return. It was so low-pressure that I will be using them again. Thanks for your honesty and kindness.

BrIronman BTL: Fantastic place! If you want to see some gorgeous artwork in the form of coins, gold, silver, and more, you've gotta check this place out!Geoff and Brandon are smart, helpful, courteous, and respectful.I'm very happy to have found this treasure of a shop!Enjoy,Bryan

Julie Whitton: Geoff and Brandon are exceptional. They were incredibly helpful, respectful, and fair. I highly recommend The Metal Shop to anyone looking to buy, sell, or simply learn about all things gold and silver!

SAM: First time at the store. I was little nervus first time gold buyer. The store is small but very friend staffs with lots of good knowledge and advise for the first time buyer. At the end walk out with 2 gold maples! will go back for more later.

Stephen Howell - Rock Int'l Playboy: Hey There Rock Fans !! So as is my process I write about my experience with people and the businesses they own.............so about 2 yeas ago I decided to sell a bunch coins and silverware so I went to Bellevue rare coins in Kirkland to find out what my stuff was worth because they advertise " come in and we will tell you what your collectables are worth " not even close the old guy running the place threw a fit..." Antique Mall of West Seattle: what do users think?

Luke Stoelinga: When I was a child there was a mannequin here that looked like a vampire or some creepy old grave digger. It terrified me to the point I'd get anxious while we drove by. I believe that the mannequin is now gone, but proceed with caution.

J D: Fun, too see stuff

Will Nungesser: You can spend all day here! Great spot!

Mopti Sevare: HUGE offering. HUGE!!!!

Graeme Metcalf: Unbelievable collection of goods! I could spend hours in this place and never be bored, it’s filled too to bottom with interesting treasures.

Mandy Reynolds: This place made me happy and sad at the same time. It reminded me of being in my grandma's house. So many treasures in this place. Make sure you visit both upstairs and downstairs so you don't miss anything. The first floor was packed pretty tight so be careful not to knock anything over.

Nicole Jackson: This place is a hidden gem! Be prepared to be lost for hours and to dig. There is so much to look through!

roger olson: Fun store nice people

Pacific Galleries (now Lander Street Vintage under new ownership): what do users think?

Bobby Van: What a fantastic antique mall. I spent an entire afternoon just trying to see all of it!! This place is great!!!

Rob Norwood: Very large and packed full of goodies.

Laura S: . We always come out of here with something neat.

S Davis: Another one of my favorite thrift/vintage stores. They have a ton of stuff! Clothes, shoes, jewelry, art, furniture, books…I highly recommend coming here on a weekend. Be prepared to spend at least an hour here because you will be busy browsing and will more than likely find something cool.

Denise OToole: Didn't find what I was looking for but wasn't disappointed. I saw new items that tempted me.

Adolphus Estes: Amazing finds, some more over priced than others.

Mark Buettemeier: Wow, great selection of quality antiques. I'm always finding new and interesting items here.

Ralph Hofmann: Amazing selection. Tons to see. Good service with a person walking around and asking if we needed help. Friendly counter support as well. I will come back again.

Craig Liebendorfer: As with any collection of antiques stalls, it's hit or miss here, but we love coming here and have for years.

Fairlook Antiques: what do users think?

Joe Perruccio: , maps, posters, tickets, postcards, etc., all with a story or a handwritten note somehow attached to them. Also a handful or other vintage items like bottles, pins, stuff like that.Mike, the owner, knows where everything is, and loves to talk it up. You could easily spend an entire weekend in there just poking around. My pics don’t do it justice… it’s 2-3 big rooms of stuff.Make sure you call for his hours before you go! Sometimes they’re closed for shows and whatnot, as some other salty reviewers have pointed out.

Joseph Wagner: Great place and a huge variety and Mike is really nice and helpful.

Christian Gustafson: I found two old Metsker maps and a 1934 map of the Chicago transit system. My daughter found postcards and other ephemera. Call before you go, I’m going back alone so I can concentrate.

Brian Wiese: Stopped in out of curiosity pre-COVID and was fascinated with the collections of historic photos and prints of Seattle and the region. So much to discover if you have time to browse. Would have to check out the antique paper fairs for more.

Rogue Bombshell: If you're looking for old photos, this place is 99% boxes and boxes of old photos

Jerry Goddard: Not to bsd

K Stubbs: Not a typical antique store. If you are looking for vintage furniture, sports memorabilia, or glassware, you are better off sticking closer to Pike Place Market, or going to Snohomish. However, if historic images, postcards, advertisements, or brochures are of interest to you, you would be hard pressed to find a better store in the region. The selection covers just about any topic imaginable, and the owner is incredibly knowledgeable of that field of interest.

Randy Emory: Great people

John Napier: Great breakfast, great atmosphere!

Ye Olde Curiosity Shop: what do users think?

Jody Carter: Fun place with a lot of unusual items.... half oddity museum, half store. It's all for sale, but I'm not sure who would want most of it! The mummies were admittedly cool. The 2 player pianos were unique. The overwhelming smell on incense at the entrance forced us out much sooner than we would have liked.

richardjudlin661: Very nice and friendly employees

Chrystal Curiel: Love this place. Not much has change there over the years othe then they have gotten a lot more stuff. It is not for the faint at heart but great place for curious people. Shrunken Heads and mummy's are the attraction and many other oddities Super cool to check out.

Robert Green: They got the name of this place right. Enough said

Bret Perry: Always fun.

Debra Doser: This place was always a favorite of ours while visiting the waterfront. The store looks as if it has made the place smaller, and it looks like the fudge lady is gone now.It still has some pretty unique merchandise in the store, and well be worth a visit.

GTD Family: Always lots of things to see and buy. 😁We almost always try and make it here if we're in the area already.
